Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Awful service and pizza. Not to mention they'll rip you off by adding a tip on your credit card bill for carryout. Very ghetto.

If you are in the mood for some run of the mill, but standardly good pizza you'll be in great shape, but there are much tastier local joints that also offer late hours and speedy delivery.

I don't have a lot to say about Pizza Boli's. This is decent fairly generic pizza. The chicken wings are also generic but good. The pricing didn't seem out of line and the people were OK. I'll keep going here for takeout until I find where the awesome pizza in Federal Hill is.

Bolis was more than accommodating to our group. Good food and good service. Hez and Salina hooked it up

I loved the pizza and you can't beat the prize. A small pizza for $7 and it tasted really good!

One of the better pizzas in Federal Hill. Spent a lot of time trying each pizza joint around here in federal hill and Pizza Boli's has a good cheese, not too rubbery, and sauce, not too bitter/sweet. Will order from again!

To be honest, my expectations for fast food pizza are not very high. But this particular Pizza Boli's has served me well. I always order delivery, and I get their meatster and supreme pizzas and occasionally order wings. Both have been better than the other chains (Domino's, Papa John's), and they are always great for delivering on time. I'm so happy that they have a huge range of flavors for their wings, and that they make it an option for you to pick toppings for half of a pizza instead of the whole pizza (you can invent some interesting pizzas). Their online ordering site is one of the most user friendly ordering sites for pizza places, and I'm a loyal customer for sure. I have never been to the location, so can't tell you much about it, but the delivery people have always been friendly and helpful. If all you want is a good generic pizza and wings, this is the place.

Have ordered from Pizza Boli's twice. I figured after the first experience, I'd give them a second try. Big mistake! Pizza is mediocre. Not bad for delivery, but nothing exceptional. I've also ordered subs from them which are also not bad. The biggest issue is their delivery. In both instances, the driver refused to bring the food to my apartment. I had foot surgery, hence why I was ordering delivery. When I made it down stairs, the driver seemed annoyed it took me so long. Not to seem lazy, but the point of delivery is that I want the food to come to me. How hard is that?

Subpar quality food. But late at night. When there's nothing to eat. This place is a goto. Prepare for very greasy fatty food hohoho

You get what you pay for. We ordered in store for carry out. The man who appeared to be a manager was nice but the lady who took our order was terse but not in a super rude way. Anyway, small pepperoni pizza ($5 with coupon they provided on the spot) and toasted chicken sub ($6.49) were reasonably priced and made to order. I like that you can put fresh and grilled onions on the sub but you get no choice of bread. Took about ten minutes to make and food was not bad. Overall, not my first choice for a place to eat, but it's cheap, quick, decent, and easy if you're in the area. Semi-reminiscent of a place you'd frequent in college.

Lady who picked up was very nice. Delivery took more than one hour though. I think they were really busy because of the convention. Pizza was fine

Ordering from them was an absolute nightmare. This establishment has no idea how to conduct business. Placed an order and was told the food would take 50 minutes which was fine. The food took 2 hours and 10 minutes to come. After about an hour and a half of waiting, I called the restaurant and was brushed off by the person who picked up the phone. When my food finally arrived ( no apologies or anything), I had half my order missing and I got the wrong pizza. I immediately called back and was bounced around the phone. After about 30 minutes, I was connected to a manager who told me they will redo the pizza and send me the rest of my order. It took an hour in a half to get the new order. I just received my new order and it's all COLD. Not only did it take FOUR hours to get my stuff but it wasn't what I wanted, cold, and horrible customer service. I don't care if starving...I will never ever order from Pizza Bolis again. Worst customer service and experience of my life.

I've ordered from Pizza Boli's before; service is very inconsistent. One employee copped an attitude with me about where their delivery zone was and INSISTED that they didn't deliver to my address (they do, and have done so before); when I asked to speak with their manager, they literally had a conniption fit. At best, they're not friendly people to deal with. Shame, because the pizza actually does live up to the hype. The Old Bay crab pizza in particular is outstanding. Our last order was a thin-crust five topping that was pure dynamite - if there's one thing PB knows how to do, it's a thin crust pizza. Most get it wrong - they hit the mark perfectly, every time. Prices are about standard for the area. The crab pizza is a little more due to the ingredient expense, but it's worth it. I just wish they'd hire better people. The hostility is SO not necessary.

I've ordered food from this particular Pizza Bolis for a couple of years now, w/o any major incidents...til this week! On yesterday, I ordered 2 Cheese Steak subs. plus 2 fries, 2 sodas & 2 Oreo creme pies, but the driver took more than 45min. to arriive...plus, he forgot 1 of my fries & my 2 Oreo creme pies!!! And...if that wasn't enough to piss-me-off...he also...had the nerve to argue w/ me about entry into my apt. building(he was either too damn stupid and/or lazy to operate a simple 'call-box' & wanted me to come down stairs to let him in...even though, I'm disabled!!!) At this point, I called Pizza Boli' & complain to the manager/owner?! Management started making excuses for their driver, and offered me a credit for my next delivery on the missing items in my order, but I'd refused & demanded he fix my order now...NOT the next time(of course, he'd copped an attitude, but I didn't care!!)!! It took the driver more than a hr. to bring me my complete order!! The next day, I(like a dummy ordered from them again!), and it took more than 1hr. in fact, it took exactly 1 hr. 45min. to deliver 1 Cheese Steak sub. 1 soda & 2 Oreo creme pies!!! Again, I contacted the store, and the manager/owner? started making excuses for his driver again, but this time I'd demanded "either my order be ""free" and/or cancelled... The manager/owner? "incredulously begin giving me a lecture about how this was America, and in this country "nothing was for "free"...you have to work hard, and earn your way to freedom!!! WTF?!?! I repeated my demand for the aforementioned, but the m/o ignored my request...so now, I'm venting my frustration, and "WARNING" everyone about the unscrupulous, unapologetic attitudes & behaviours of the management/ ownership of the Pizza Bolis @ Federal Hill 13 Cross St. B'more, location. "DON'T ORDER FROM THIS PIZZA BOLIS @ FEDERAL HILL!!!" -Mikey

Definitely a carry out only place. Their white pizza is the best! So delicious!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I like Pizza Boli's so when I ordered from this one I was very disappointed!!! I had a coupon for $10.99 for a large one topping with two sodas. They added an extra $1 for delivery (no mention on the phone) so it came to $12.65 with tax. What is this $1 for? Probably just ripping you off. Does it go to the driver? And if so, why am I tipping him more? Yeah, it came to $16 total with tip. RIDICULOUS. Pizza should not be this much. The pizza arrived with about 10 total pepperonis on the whole thing. Half of the pizza didn't even have pepperonis on it! The cheese and the few pepp's were sloshed to one side, like the guy was driving like a maniac or just didn't care about the pizza and let it fall over. Also, it was not cut properly. There were normal sized slices and huge ones that should've been two but just were not cut. TERRIBLE. Worst pizza experience I've had in a while. I called and complained and now have a coupon on my next order. Should've just gotten a new pie that the girl on the phone offered and never ordered from there again. Next time, I give the one on Patterson Park a chance. Maybe their service will be better.

I'm surprised there aren't more reviews of this place! After exiting Mad River across the street with three friends, we headed over to Boli's where they had stacks of pepperoni/cheese pizzas ready to go. We grabbed one, paid for it, and saw a ton of other people do the same. When you need pizza at 2AM after a night out, this should be your go-to.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
