I usually like variety and trying anything new and crazy but I have to say this is THE BEST PEPPERONI PIZZA EEEEVVVVVEEEEEEEERRR!! My roommate is Italian and orders from here and now I'm hooked. Plus they deliver. Atmosphere looks great and they have a full bar.

Legit luv this place! It really is a place where you can chill and have good eats outside of the typical bar food. I'm from the Eastern Sho so I'm always looking for hidden gems within the city and I'm happy to say Fillippos is mos def. The lounge/dining is all inviting for hours on end and I'm the type that always does carryout. Check em out, you shouldn't be disappointed ;^]

Have you ever come home in the evening, sapped of energy, and if you do one more task, in this case "cooking", you would die? That's what I felt like today, so I ordered pizza fro Filippo's and have them deliver the food to my house. Delivery was very prompt, 10-20 minutes, and better yet, delicious pizza and amazing cannoli that will leave your mouth gushing for more. If you are going to order a pizza from this place, don't try the original one-topping pizza, as they would taste like pizzas from chain pizza places.(From my past experience, this is actually true for all local pizza places) Instead, try their specialty pizza. I had their white pizza with broccoli, and it was Goooood. The cannoli was even better, the cannoli cream was just made right, not too sweet with a consistent texture. In summary, their food brighten up my lethargic evening. So go, get your phone ready, and order some pizza from Filippo's.

I sent an employee of mine to Filippos to get us a pizza with a coupon printed out on the back of a Safeway receipt. The coupon was less than a month old and had NO expiration date. When he got there he was told the deal has gone up in price and they wouldn't accept the coupon. As someone who runs a business as well, this is in my opinion very poor practice. If you aren't going to honor the coupons you put out there, you need to put an expiration on them. As for the pizza, pretty good. Sauce has a good flavor to it. If the customer service had been better, no doubt I would return. Now I'm not so sure.

Good, steel-oven pizza. More Chicago than NY. The "everything" was great, and the white was good but I've had better. If you're in the area, than I'd say look here for a good carryout option.

Solid pizza that had similar taste to Papa John's. Huge 18" cheese was only $8. They have beer as well. Great for carry-out on Ravens Sundays.

My first, and only, experience was quite poor. I needed 3 XL pizzas for a 6 p.m. work event. At 3:30 p.m., I placed an order scheduled for 6 p.m. delivery, using Foodler, the designated ordering website for this "restaurant." Around 4:30 p.m., 3 pizzas arrive at my workplace. AN HOUR AND A HALF EARLY. Meaning the pizza would be cold by the time anyone arrived. The delivery guy dropped off the pizzas and left, so I called to complain/get new pizzas delivered at the correct time. I explained to the gentleman who answered the phone that I would like 3 new pizzas delivered at 6 p.m., as I requested, and as stated on both my receipt and the order form he was sent. After being on hold for 8 minutes while he spoke to his "boss," I was told that the delivery guy would need to come back, pick up the pizzas, then deliver 3 new pizzas at 6 p.m. I mentioned that it seems like a waste of time and gas money to have the guy come back, and I'm not sure what they planned on doing with the pizzas that they delivered early, considering you can't resell food. Also, I was sure they would just reheat and deliver the same pizzas again, or worse. The gentleman on the phone assured me that he would personally make the new pizzas, and have them delivered at 6 p.m., or a few minutes early. I agreed to the 3 new pizzas at 6 p.m. and guess what? The pizzas were delivered at 6:15, 15 MINUTES LATE. I didn't even taste the pizza, but quite frankly, after this 1 star experience, they could have the best pizza in the world and I still would not order from them again. SAD customer service.

fast delivery ! Amazing cold cut subs maccornoi and cheese tasted like plastic though and was dry. They could definitely improve on that!

Usually a decent pizza delivery. Tonight the receptionist got my order wrong. I called back to get a new pizza made. She asked me if I had my receipt, then said I had to pay the $4 difference, told me not to eat the wrong pizza because the driver would have to pick it up, and then wouldn't commit to a delivery time. At that point I said never mind and hung up on her. The second pizza we received that night had raw dough throughout the crust (looked like cheese, but it wasn't). That's was the second time it came undercooked. Screw this place.

I had the blackened tilapia and my wife had the mango and avocado tilapia. Mine came with three nice sized filets with a blackening spice that pleased a spice guy like me. Even my wife that like it "light" eat the sharing piece with a positive response. While it was tasty and plentiful it didn't come on a bed of avocado and corn mixture as advertised. It did come with two sides and they were huge. The greatest part was the price. Best value in a long time. Blackened tilapia cooked to perfection with two sides for 10 bucks. What I find. You have to go there. They are bringing the area up to a better standard one bite and drink at a time. I'm definitely going back.

My family always comes here. And since the rehab the place looks very inviting to come in and chill in the bar area. I love the fact that they added a separation between the bar and eatery. However, tonight, we ordered a X - large pizza with little cheese and pepperoni. They forgot the pepperoni and the dude was gonna add the pepperoni to our already baked pizza and put it back into the pizza oven. We were like no, it will over cook the little cheese we requested. So he said it would be another 15 minutes to make a fresh pizza. No problem if that will give us what we paid for. But for the inconvenience of another 15 minute wait you would think for customer service purposes that they'd offer us a free drink to compensate our wait paid their mistake. NO. I hate the fact that because I am in food service and notice EVERYTHING, that overlooking compensating your inconvenienced customers is a big deal to me. To some it's not, to your customers it means you care about their time and their continued patriotism to your business. Since I didn't didn't want to challenge their lack of customer care I know that if it happens again I will go across the street. Just saying.

Fast delivery. The fried mushrooms were really good. Cheese fries were a little bland, but not bad.

The pizza is wonderful & has always been but the Customer service SUCKS!! I asked for napkins, the cashier ignored me, after another employee finished making out with his girlfriend I asked him for napkins & had to repeat it because he had earphones in his ear, smh.....I don't care how good your food is if your customer service isn't right I'm not coming back!!

I used to eat from here all the time when I was younger, the last 3 times I got from there, the pizza was disgusting, barely edible. The very last time I ordered from there, as soon as I finished eating, I felt extremely sick, and ended up vomiting all night, and half of the next day. You should definitely avoid this place, it's not like it used to be that's for sure. I will never give this place another shot.

Enjoy getting your food an hour and 40 minutes late? Well maybe you like cold pizza. If so, then this place is right up your alley. I'm sure it's delicious when it's hot and fresh, but having a nice room temp slice really lets all the delicious flavor come out. I wouldn't have posted a negative review if this was the only time that this happened. This is the second time my food was late and I have had enough. Thanks so much.

Great prices for what you get! I agree with the other review that it is like Papa John's a little but without the corporate side. Support local! The staff was very friendly, especially for a quick bites place! Def. going back!

2 hours later and I STILL don't have my food. I never leave reviews but felt compelled to do so now. Ordered my food at 845...at 1000 I call to ask where my food is and was told that the driver was there but I didn't answer, this was a lie. At that point was told they had the wrong number for me but would fix my order fresh and send it to me again. 1045 I still haven't received any food so I call again. Was told that the driver stopped by and again called, told them that was impossible. Finally just told her I would pick the food up myself shortly to which she said ok. I get there 7min later and was told that they were still calling a wrong number EVEN THOUGH I MADE SURE THAT THEY HAD THE CORRECT NUMBER WHEN I CALLED THE FIRST TIME WHICH SHE VERIFIED!!! On top of that when I asked for my food she told me it wasn't there -_- My left ball could run this place better than these imbeciles. Now 1103 and I am ordering food from elsewhere... Never again

Coming from the NYC area, on the NJ side, it's really tough to find good pizza in Baltimore. I've been to about five or six places and Filipo's is fair. The reason why I give them 3 stars is because they're better than the other places I've been to. I got two plain slices that were cut from a fresh pie taken out of the oven as I walked in. Very greasy, soggy and the tomato sauce tasted funny. The pizza dough was... Okay How come it's so difficult to find pizza joints that offer take out by the slice???? Second, how come pizza joints in Baltimore don't have any pies on display????

Terrible. Food we ordered for delivery was $52 and some change. My mashed potatoes tasted old, the gravy was watery, the broccoli was raw and brown, the chicken quesadilla had bones in it, the beer battered onion rings and boneless wings were burned. I called to advise the manager and she told me if I would have called back as soon as it happened she could have replaced our food - but who wants food that is already bad the first time you ordered it?! I will never eat their food again.

Restaurant is open until midnight, I ordered food before midnight through the EAT24 app. They refused to deliver my order. If there going to agree to deliver food until midnight they should honor the agreement or change their available delivery time. Just goes to show a lack of customer respect or service.

Most definitely a premature review from myself. Lets keep it simple. Many of my fellow neighbors have been complaining about numerous issues they've had, but I've remained loyal... up until now, that is. I ordered a large pizza a couple of weeks ago and munched my way through the entire thing with my roommate. When he went to pick up the last piece... a roach was crawling in the box. This could happen at any establishment, but I just can't pull myself to eat anything from there anymore.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
