Dunkin' Donuts is my favorite place to get coffee. It is important to note that my low star rating pertains to this specific location and not all Dunkin' Donuts. Frankly, due to the shady clientele and sketchy area, I would not recommend this location unless it was out of necessity. I have a tough decision about breakfast when staying in Baltimore for business. Due to the time I start my workday, my choices are paying $28.00 for sub-par coffee and an average continental breakfast at my hotel or risking my life and going to this Dunkin' Donuts. Against my better judgment, I usually take my life into my own hands and head to Dunkin' Donuts. After all, I love their coffee. Their prices are ridiculously cheap. Oddly, they seem to fluctuate from day to day at this location. Finally, despite getting a food allowance while on business, I can just not pay those hotel prices on principle alone. My co-workers are always jealous when they spot me with the familiar Dunkin' Donuts cup. Immediately, they ask where they are located. After telling them, I always add a disclaimer about it being in a bad location. I even inform the woman that they should not go there alone. It is for that very reason I must give this location such a low rating. It is obvious that I enjoy the coffee and food at Dunkin' Donuts. The problem here is that the location is in a very bad area. The street lighting around this location is poor. Lurking inside and out are panhandlers, transients, and junkies. Navigating around people sleeping near the entrance and confrontations by people on the street is part of the process to dine here.

Weak! First of all, why do they call it "Baskin 31"? Because there are supposed to be "31" flavors. Not "22 is all we have room for at most". This Dunkin/Baskin combo was really below my expectations for the dessert chain, particularly at a busy street in Baltimore's harbor area. The customer service got tired of waiting for me to select one of their measly 22 flavors. (It was difficult for me to deliberate. There were not enough good flavors to choose from to begin with, and most of the stocked flavors were either sugar free or running out of product.) I left the store after a few minutes of fruitless searching, as the one guy on duty in the ice cream department had quickly disappeared into the back and did not ask me how much time I needed nor while I was having trouble deciding, if he had enough time to do busy work. It was clear to me that he couldn't be bothered with customer care #1. Compare that to most good ice cream places, which will ask you what you want as soon as one foot is in the door, even before you get a chance to scan their THIRTY ONE different flavors! Do the busy work while customers are gone, and instead help us get on with it.

Had to go back three times because they kept getting the order wrong. First they forgot a sandwich, then they gave the wrong one and finally they forgot to add cheese to the other sandwich. They're nice people but work slow. Going to try Panera instead.

This DD wasn't as bad as the other reviews imply. I'll likely go back if (and only if) I'm staying at the nearby hotel.

Terrible. Just plain terrible. Cold breakfast sandwiches. Ordered hash browns with our sandwiches and the lady refused to give them to us. I ordered a vanilla latte and she asked if I wanted sugar with it..what does that even mean?! Never ever coming back. Everrrr.

It's Dunkin' Doughnuts. When I was at this location I had a doughnut (okay, two) and an iced mocha. The iced mocha was awful, but when I mentioned it to the counter staff they immediately snatched it from my hands and made another, which was delicious. While I wish my first one was made properly (I would have been bummed to have left with it and not had the opportunity to replace it) I was impressed by how much they wanted to fix it for me. That was nice.

While on a trip to Baltimore about 4 years ago, I stopped in to this Dunkin Donuts. Even though this shop was small, the service they provided me was fine for their size. They didn't have many donuts nor many bagels. It was 5pm when I ate, so time was not the reason. Seating was on another level. You had to take your food up a flight of stairs to be able to sit down.(They had metal banisters by the way.) Unfortunately, when I was there, I never did see any employees coming around collecting any trays(or cleaning out trash cans nonetheless!) I know the Dunkin brand itself has changed. I hope this one got a major revamp. Not only that, but the seating area was not handicapped accessible, due to these stairs with no elevator.

So apparently they have a top secret customer program, where you can cut everyone in line and get your items early. Thank you kevin from that dunkin donuts on Howard for showing favoritism with customers and letting them jump the line just because. I'll be sure not to come there again. Thanks your an amazing employee. - J

I wish I can give it zero stars. I walked in having to go to the restroom and they actually wanted me to buy a food item and take it in. I was willing to buy but afterwards, Bc DD is my fav coffee. The manager kevin held to this outrageous policy. Never go here.... It's awful

Chicken salad bagel was fine. Staff looks trashy. They speak trashy. Act trashy. Windows , tables , floors ect all a bit dirty. Place just not kept up. Staff not doing their jobs. Great location by the metro if you need a bit. It's here for convince and that's all it offers.

Got the sandwich order wrong, guy behind the counter was cross. Straw station was covered in napkins and straw paper. Iced coffee was on point, though.

This Dunkin Donuts is good for a city location! They are usually friendly and helpful, and I think their service has improved a lot in the past few years. Dunkin Donuts coffee is better than Starbucks in my opinion, and a Duncaccino is a cheap way to get a good capuccino - much cheapr than starbucks! This location has a Baskin Robbins in it, and they have all of the donuts and muffins (and the like) plus breakfast sandwiches. The one time I had a breakfast sandwich it was good. Overall I like them better than the Starbucks down the street, though the atmosphere isn't as nice. Be wary that sometimes there is this guy who is probably looking for change but is very charismatic. Also once in awhile there are beggars around, but they are usually very polite - probably a great chance to give a muffin to someone who needs it.

good dunkin, fast service, usual baltimore lack of friendliness in foodservice staff, but who really cares that early in the morning anyways.

Pros: 1. Decent coffee, dirt cheap 2. Located next to the light rail & a mere 1.5 blocks from my apartment 3. Sunday morning you can walk there in your pajamas and look overdressed. 4. You can order anything on the menu and feel equally guilty - nothing is nutritious so it's a bad decision made simple! Cons: 1. The manager who is always behind the register when I go there. He is a bit rude and very confusing. I'm from NJ and I'm still intimidated when he takes my order.. 2. The location makes it a good place during the daylight hours, but you will meet some interesting characters if you go at the wrong times. (Could be a pro -)
