I came to visit a buddy of mine and he brought me here to start the night off of bar hopping and we never left. The wait staff and bartenders where great and very understanding of our drunkenness and even jumped in on a dance. The clientele is very laid back and friendly even after a couple beat downs in shuffle board. It's a great place with good food and a great beer selection and I'm definitely going to hit Don't Know up when ever I'm in town.

So my review for Don't Know will have to be based solely on my dining experiences there because I've never been during the evening and couldn't tell you a bit about it. However, their brunch? Let's talk about their brunch. In a nutshell, it is the perfect hangover place. I usually end up rolling in there with sweatpants, my hair a mess, and extremely dehydrated. Don't Know's brunch menu is full of fatty, greasy foods so yeah, I see it as a winning combination. And let's not forget their drink specials. Awhile back, a friend of mine ended up walking out of their more intoxicated than she was the night before. Genius! That being said, I would recommend this as a place to eat the morning after you party. Not a place for a nice meal "on the town". I believe it's also the WVU bar and being a VT alum, I will keep my mouth shut about their crowd during WVU games. Hmph. :) The staff can be a bit inattentive at times, but I guess I can't blame them when they have dozens of hungover customers awaiting their greasy carb fix. It's the name of the game.

I've been to Don't Know more times than I care to admit, but each experience I've had there is magical in its own special way. To some, it may only be a sports bar in Federal Hill/South Baltimore, but to my friends and I, its so much more. We used to go there just about every Friday for their wine special, which was $7 AUCD until 8pm... an incredible deal! Due to a series of drunken debaucheries, the special changed to $2.50 glasses until 7pm, still a great deal. They offer nine different kinds of wine, but I enjoy the Sauvignon Blanc for it's crisp, refreshing taste. Without the happy hour, one glass is $7, so you know you're getting a great deal! In addition to the wine, Don't Know has twelve beers on tap, some of which change seasonally, and a bevy of mixed drinks. In addition to their drinks, Don't Know serves up some of the best bar food in Baltimore... it's so good that even calling it bar food doesn't seem right, maybe upscale pub fare? I've tried the Ruben, Chicken Bruschetta Melt, Sweet Chili Pomegranate Wings, Hummus Platter, Nachos, Southwest Caesar Salad, Veggie Pizza, Shrimp Salad Wrap, Grilled Cheese, Crab Cake, and Mac & Cheese, all of which were delicious. Of the items I've tried, the Don't Know Ruben is my favorite, offering a massive portion on delectable marble rye bread, served with your choice of fries, tots, or salad. Whatever you order at Don't Know is sure to be amazing, second only to the service that you receive. The staff is very friendly and prompt, even when things get crazy during happy hour. So, if you want a bar with great food where everybody knows your name, Don't Know is the place for you.

They claim to be a Boston sports bar on their website, but they are not! They don't carry NESN! If you are looking for Boston sports don't come here! They told me they have new ownership and don't care about Boston anymore. Last time I go to this place.... I traveled a long way just to get NESN but I was denied. Never go here. Drinks were expensive too....

Nachos are good. Beer selection is much better than expected. But, it is kinda far from everything. Almost 4 stars.

This place used to be awesome but they go through chefs constantly. The fish tacos tasted too fishy. The nachos change everytime. Their crab cakes used to be awesome but I heard they went down hill. Great draft beer selection. Layout is kind of weird and can get claustrophobic. Cool place to watch an MMA fight or a game because of all the TV's and a huge projector right next to a shuffleboard table. Generally not the best looking girls are there and it can get packed with kickball weirdos. Don't walk too far south outside it can get shady.

This was my second visit to Don't Know. The first was probably about a year ago. I would have given it a pretty good rating at that time. At that time, the Thursday night special of half price crab cakes was really good and the beer selection was good. I know they were trying to be a bar with better food. Recently somebody told me they went there and the cheese steak was "disgusting". I found that hard to believe after my meal there so I decided to make a return trip. The beer is still good. I still remembered how good the crab cakes were, and the price on Thursday looks like a deal, so I had them again. This time I would have to say disgusting too. You shouldn't serve an inferior crab cake in Baltimore, it is practically unamerican. They were big, but all filler and salty and the crab was hard to find, definitely no lumps. They reminded me of deviled crab cakes we got in Pittsburgh growing up, and I won't even go there. The crab cakes were served with a risotto cake (not as good as last time and different), and roasted asparagus that was incredibly salty. The food was an encouragement for drinking more, but not anything I want to encounter again. The service was fine and the beer was cold and cheap at happy hour. Skip the food. You'll thank me for that advice.

Love Don't Know's atmosphere, an upscale sports bar catering to the younger crowd in Fed Hill. The food is always yummy (crab dip in a bread bowl keeps us coming back), but get there early, as it will be crowded and loud when people go out for drinks at night. Good specials every once in a while, especially during happy hour.

One would be hard pressed to find a better bar to simply hang out at. Great drink specials, plenty of seating/room, televisions everywhere and best of all: skee-ball, shuffleboard and foosball. As a bar-game fanatic, this place is an absolute jewel
