I used to live right up the street so I used to come here almost every other day. The food is excellent. It is cooked fast and in a convenient location.....somewhat. Everyone there is nice and polite. What I don't like is that they DONT DELIVER! I feel like the restaurant could be a bit bigger and outdoor seating would be nice, but other than those things this place is pretty decent.

I have not had a lot from here.. Just fish sandwiches, fries, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings, and chicken gyros and all of those are pretty good. It's just decent food for grab and go. When you call the staff are kind of hasty they rush you thru orders. The place is always clean when you go into the restaurant .. Oh and my orders are alway right

Last night was my first time there. I have been staying at John Hopkins for about 2 weeks and needed to change up foods. I had the gyro, it was just the way I like it, siced fresh off the rotisserie. Decent amount of meat, I've had fatter ones but this was a good amount. Today, I went back and got the Italian cold cut. Now that was excellent! Only issue, onion rings were frozen and over breaded. World definitely go back if in area.

I've sampled a lot of the menu. It's typical take-out food. Gyros, cheesesteaks, sammies, subs, burgers. Nothing fancy, everything is sufficient and efficient. I haven't had a bad experience. The staff seem hardworking - they'd have to be with all the business in the area. If they had delivery it'd be even better. I'm pretty positive they get their pastries from Rose's Bakery in NE Market. I mostly come here when NE Market is closed, or if my roommates are hungry and lazy.

Although the food is decent for a dive it's lack in customer service tends to cheapen the experience. I like the pasta and gyros however you do not want to order from this resturant online. The orders can get messed up or missed/ignored all together. tonight I ordered a meal at 9:06 PM and arrived at 9:50 which would be typically plenty of time however when I arrived not only was my order not ready but they said they never received it. The manager asked to look at the order confirmation twice. He didn't apologize and did not take responsibility for the situation. He said they can make it and that I could wait. They offered no amends, accommodation or even a simple discount. It is unfortunate because I have been a patron there before but have never experienced the level of unprofessionalism that I experienced tonight. I thanked him for his time and walked out. I will not be a Parton at their establishment again.

They served the best gyro in Baltimore . Fast service, friendly, and nice dine-in area. Hahha cleaned bathroom too.

I am always down for a consistently good meal at a reasonable price. They are a little pricier than some other local spots but definitely have the advantage of having more variety and the food tastes great. So far, I have had their fish sub, chicken cheesesteak and regular cheesesteak, grilled chicken salad, chicken gyro, pizza and fries. All of the above were delicious and worth the price. They appear to be very clean and you can watch your food being prepared. I have yet to have a negative experience with them and I have been going there for years. I have not tried their pasta dishes but I am sure they are good too. Their desserts are yummy and I have samples quite a few of the options.

They deleted my other review but I got a Greek salad and the dressing had hair in it. We called and they offered no resolution. Still waiting for a refund for HAIR IN OUR FOOD.

This used to be something else but I don't remember what it was so anyway. Dino's puts together some great subs. I had BLT a few times and cant complain. The crab-cake club I believe it to be, was expectantly disappointing with all the filler it had but overall I think this is a great spot. I do wonder if they make all the deserts themselves so far I'm a fan of the rice pudding.

No frills, classic inner city type baltimore greek/American Diner. From the line and clientele, it looks like a go to establishment around here. But in the end, it's ok. This is the type of place you go to get greasy homestyle almost cafeteria food, which isn't always bad :] Lots of fried stuff, lots of salty stuff, probably some frozen stuff (fries.) I had a lamb gyro and fries. Fries were most likely frozen. WAY too much salt on them (classic baltimore ..no wonder there's so much diabetes) The lamb gyro was decent. The tzatziki didn't have much of a pop or kick to it. So it just added to the heaviness. The lamb was a tad bit too salty. but all in all I love me some gyro when i'm craving it. I'll come back when i'm feeling this style of food. Prices are not TOO bad. For 9.40 or something I got a big portino of fries and lamb gyro. Classic diner prices I guess. During heavy foot traffic, you can have a decent wait, call in your order if you work around here and want to get lunch. They have lots of regulars. I like these home style type environments. This greek family is grindin it out. They have a nice dessert window too! Seems like stuff that they either make or get from a local bakery. Looks pretty good actually.

I didn't call for a job youre obviously mistaking me for someone else because I promise I didn't call asking for a job. I'm in the hospital next to Dino's. I wanted to get a cheesesteak because I was sick of hospital food. Im to sick to get a job. Sorry but the staff was rude I promise you that. Maybe you weren't there at the time but they acted completely unprofessional. I didn't call asking for a job sorry but you have the wrong guy. Sorry

A carry out with good food that ranks high in cleanliness AND taste is always a winner!! They stay open late and have a selection of appealing desserts is a plus ;-) i've had the chicken souvlaki, garden salad with chicken and the shrimp/chicken alfredo....all of which I highly recommend!! Tonight I conquered the cheesesteak, all I can say is Nom x 6 on the nomonitor :-) (does it even go passed 5??) I ordered my cheesesteak with everything/no hots....they put pickles on it (beware, usually everything is considered lettuce, tomato, fried onions, mayo...and hots)...it was good and it gave the sub a different dimension of flavor. This sub had soft bread and the fantastic sauce that's made when the grease mixes with the mayo and cheese, that's a mark for extra credit in my book!! The fries were hot and just right with the salt, pepper and ketchup. i also had a half and half (half sweetened tea and half lemonade) and I must say my thirst was quenched :-)

First review from my business trip down to Baltimore. Really people 5 stars? Marginal bread for the sandwiches. The Italian Sub isn't that good and dry. The cheese steak with peppers and onions isn't all that bad. The grease freshens up the bread a little bit. Polite help, but overwhelmed and slow. Great prices. Try and call in your order or be patient during the lunch rush. It is the only place around outside that part of the hospital.

This place is open late and within walking distance to J. Hopkins Hospital. I ordered a steak and cheese and my dad ordered the Veal Parmesan w/spaghetti. The spaghetti portion was huge!

Got the gyros. I come from Chicago so know a good gyros when I taste one. This place is clean, gives a large amount of food for your dollar, and what's best is that is its a Greek place run by Greeks.

This restaurant took over the spot where John's Express used to be. Right around the corner from Johns Hopkins Hospital, it is not in an unsafe area although the neighborhood is a little grungy. As an Italian and Greek food place staffed my mostly Hispanic folks, this place is a bit of an oddity, but good if you are on the run and are in the neighborhood trying to find something to eat other than hospital food. The newly renovated space is nice as well- they took their time to fix it up and you can tell- both the inside and outside looks nice- especially in contrast to the surrounding area. The Italian subs and gyros are good, but skip the fries- they taste a little off. I can't quite put my finger on what it is that makes them taste the way they do, but it's not worth the extra few bucks to order them. The rest of the menu is typical of a "fast food- deli- mish mash" place. There are many yummy looking desserts as well. Ok- update- I got the Grilled Chicken Salad and have tried the Tuna salad. both lasted a solid 2 lunches and were FANTASTIC. The grilled chicken salad is warm and yummy and served with a side of warm pita. The lettuce is REAL lettuce- no iceberg here and comes with caucumbers, tomatoes, and an egg. This place is consistent, has great food, and large portions. I'm upgrading this place to 4 stars.
