The Wings of Destiny are among the best in Baltimore. Very nice beer selection too, a long list with some unique picks. I've only been a few times, plan to keep coming to try more of their wing varieties but I can't help ordering the Wings of Destiny every time...

BEST bar in Baltimore. Or maybe it's because we've been regulars so long... My family comes here AT LEAST twice a month. You know what they say about families that drink together... :) The wings are consistently delicious with SO MANY sauces to choose from, and there's always an interesting "wing of the week" sauce creation. Curly fries are fresh and hot, and the loaded curlies are mind-bogglingly addictive. The popcorn shrimp is delicious and can come with any wing sauce, and the burgers are deceptively good. Think cheesy, melty, pressed perfection. The drinks are strong and cheap at happy hour, and the servers are hilarious and very friendly. Jason and Perry are the absolute best guys ever. Try an "irish breakfast" shot!

WINGS ARE UNREAL!!! Charleston Gold wins the taste test.

The redhead bartender upstairs with curly hair is rude to the customers. She complained to me that my group was ordering twist off bottles of beer because it was starting to hurt her hands. Early in the evening I wanted to order wings and I tried to place the order with her and she told me that once she was less busy she would take my order but another bartender could also take the order. I have never experienced such rude behavior by a bartender before. She does not treat you like you're a customer. Not to mention this was during a Ravens playoff football game and I heard her to tell another Ravens fan to not cheer so loud because he was making her ears hurt. She works at a bar and Grill correct? Udderly poor behavior by a bartender.

Service was sooooo slow over an hour for some sandwiches and when it came out some orders were wrong and others cold, but the stuff done right was good and the bartender nice

We came here around 10PM. This bar was not very crowded... at all. Things I like: -Ski Ball Machine -Two story bar -Big screen tv's up stairs... like huge! -Lots of seating -Their loaded fries were the best thing I think I've ever had that were made out of potatoes and cheese Things I didn't like: -No energy -Our bartender Walsh was nice but was hard to get a hold of and they honestly weren't that busy. -I know this is normal, but it still rubbed me the wrong way. Dude took my drink on the way out of the bar... I was drinking diet coke :( I just wanted a soda in a plastic up! -We got the boneless wings and they tasted good but they were so small! -No dancing or good music

Young crowd. Located in a nice part of Baltimore (Federal Hill). Great place to watch a Ravens game. Best wings in Baltimore! Get the wings! Soo many sauces!

Foods good, service is inconsistent. Recently read a Reddit thread naming Foley's as one of the best places for wings in the city. Although I don't consider myself a wing connoisseur, I was very surprised by this opinion. I'm a big fan of the Orangemen and Strongbow BBQ (I can't handle heat and love BBQ wings). The nachos are also a go-to when dining with a group. Only forewarning is that I've heard that their keg lines aren't cleaned regularly. Though I don't want to reveal where i heard this, it seemed to be a reliable source. I only order bottles/cans of beer when I'm at Foleys.

When you're looking for pub food, you want the traditional no frills experience where the evening is only focused on the food, the beers and the game on the TV. Fortunately, I found a place that truly delivers on that at Delia Foley's right on Charles St. in Federal Hill. During a recent Orioles game, my friend and I decided to walk over to a local bar, grab a bite to eat, some beers and to watch the game. When we arrived at Delia Foley's, everyone was enjoying the game. We grabbed a table and quickly ordered some beers. My friend was craving pretzels and we decided to order the Soft Pretzel Nuggets. They came with spicy mustard and a cheesy sauce. Both dips were good, but because the pretzel's were so oily, all of the sauces basically slid right off. However these pretzels did remind us of the one's at Auntie Anne's so if you're a fan of those, these will probably be right up your alley. We also decided to put in an order for Curly Fries. Unfortunately, these were more of 'potato wedges with a curl.' I don't love potato wedges (thick cut fries just don't do it for me.) Even though I was expecting something more like the curly fries from Brewers Cask, these were delicious and I dipped them in the sauces from the pretzels. And lastly, the real reason we went to Delia Foley's, the wings! From browsing Yelp and Foursquare tips, I knew that the wings were the way to go with our order but there are 30 different sauces to choose from. We figured a 'two clover' spice level should be good for us because we didn't want anything too sweet, but we didn't want to burn our taste buds. The Oriole sauce sounded perfect for us, not only because we were watching the game. The combination of a sweet bbq sauce with spices sounded really great. We made the right choice with these wings, the sauce had a nice subtle heat that really tasted great as we made it through the order ofwings. And there was tons of that delicious sauce leftover to dip our fries into. It was wonderful and these were easily some of the best wings I have had in a while.

Came here on a Saturday afternoon. Happy hour is from 11-5, and 5-close. So basically all day happy hour! $3 new castle and $4 Jameson. I had the quiet man chicken sandwich and made sure to try their Curley fries; which were great! Overall decent not so crowded Irish pub in the middle of fed hill. Great service from the bar tender Courtney.

3.5 stars. Wings are some of the better ones in Fed Hill and with 25+ different flavors, you are bound to find something you like. I usually get the Chipotle Lime or Wings of Destiny. The loaded fries are good as well. Only really come here for the wings so I can't comment on the other menu items. Place is generally on the quieter side for the most part and they have darts and skee ball. Happy hour drinks specials are solid throughout the week and Sunday is all day happy hour. Good selection of beers on drafts and a sheet full of bottled beer. The thing that bums me out about this place is that wings used to be 49 cents, but now have raised up to 69 cents a piece. It is only a 20 cent increase you say? Well the great value for quality wings was the signature of this place along with their extensive beer list and daily special. The wings are good, but it is questionable to go out of my way and off the beaten path of Fed Hill for something that no longer has value. They also charge more for carry out (or without a drink purchase) which is a complete joke since you could just order wings, only eat 1 wing and then ask for a box and leave.

I am a huge fan of wings. I ordered from here for the first time after hearing a ton of good things and was not disappointed. Got 3 types of wings to split with friends and the curly fries.... Amazing. Was so happy with the portion sizes and the different wings sauces. Destiny was my favorite ! Also got fire starter and raven, also both delicious depending on what you are in the mood for. Love that this place is down the street from me :)

Any place that has ski ball is automatically great in my books except for the fact that at 10pm on a Friday it was dead. I think it probably would have been more fun with more people. I wasn't expecting a quiet bar on a Friday night in Fells. I guess I'm still caught off by that. I think the hubby enjoyed the buffalo wings. It was our last bar on a pub tour, it's all blending together.

What a wonderful place! They have a very friendly staff, I chatted with the barback Aaron for awhile and he was very welcoming to an out of state guest :) also I had the Crab Mac & Cheese and it was very good. I will definitely be returning!

I have been to Delia Foley's a couple of times mainly for the wings. In my opinion they are some of the best in Baltimore. They have over 30 different sauces. I try to mix it up every time I go and have never been disappointed! they also have a great beer selection and decent happy hour. The service tends to be a little slower but the staff is always friendly and the food is worth the wait. All in all this is a great neighborhood wing spot!

  • Rachel C.

The food was good, but the service wasn't. My trivia team couldn't get a table at our usual Tuesday night haunt, so we headed here. We had a group of 10, which I understand is overwhelming, but our server acted like we were an inconvenience to him. (We aren't even the rowdy type.) The menus he gave us weren't up to date, and he acted like it was our fault when we ordered things they were out of. Sorry we just spent $100 in your establishment?

Love their wings and beer selection! This bar is always clean and I have always had great service. I don't really like spicy wings so if you are looking for a more milder choice then try the Orangemen wings! Sooo yummy. :)

Have visited this bar on two different occasions. First time was during an Orioles game, so it was a bit packed. Second time was during a Ravens home game so it was less packed. Ordered the same thing both times. Service is very slow. Waited 1 full hour for just an order of fries with cheese on them and this is during the game that had a smaller crowd. The busy night (Orioles game) had slow service, but I didn't complain due to the high volume of customers. The second time was just infuriating! When I finally received my order there was barely any cheese on the fries and there was no dipping sauce. Would have saved an hour of my life and been happier going to another bar or eating at home! HUGE disappointment. Only good thing about this bar is the beer selection. The food selection and quality of the food is so-so.

Baltimore's (or at least Fed Hill's) Syracuse bar! I often go to Delia Foley's to watch the games, and there are usually a decent number of Orange fans in the house. You can't beat their wing price or selection, and their beer choices are better than a lot of other bars nearby. Other food on the menu is so-so, but stick to their wings and you won't be sorry!

    (4)
  • Binh T.

Wings great selection of flavored but a disappointment in delivery. Also u have to buy a drink to order wings and carry out is 20c more a wing. Never heard of that before. Not the best wings in the area!

    (2)
  • Brad I.

Epitome of post-work hangout spot. Wings are consistently great and drink specials a week long. Outside of wings, food is on par with any other bar in fed hill. Strong beer selection as well that is frequently rotated per the season.

    (4)
  • J. Burke M.

The flavors are creative and well-executed and the wings have a good size -- for a rather low price, to boot. The only negative I have for Foley's is their consistency. I'm willing to chalk it up to some troubles they had during their first 18 months, as can be expected for a restaurant, but I left their dining room a few times ready to write reviews very strongly in both directions. Thus, until Foley's nails it on a consisten basis, three stars seems to be an appropriate rating.

    (3)
  • Trevor B.

I may be a little biased since I live so close, but compared to the prior tenant (Taps...a bar without any drafts?), Delia Foley's is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. Huge selection of wings (29 flavors!) that are always $0.50 each...I'll take it. Smoked then fried, they're actually some of the better wings I've had in B'more so far. I've tried the Godfather, Orangemen, Old Bay and Wings of Destiny (my favorite) and they were all really good. Drink specials everyday and really nice renovations to the interior w/ lots of fun Irish memorabilia. Never made it last year, but they also did an all-you-can-drink + buffet deal for like $20 during Ravens games (they have a hugh projection screen upstairs)...will definitely be hitting that up this year

  • Paul T.

I love Delia Foley's, and make it a point to make a trip in from Towson each Saturday or Sunday for a few pints and to have their AWESOME wings. Likes: 1. The wings are smoked THEN fried, so they have an incredible smoky flavor that is just fantastic. 2. They have an amazing variety of wings, including some rather adventurous flavors like garlic Parmesan and peanut butter and jelly. 3. My wife has tried some of their other apps and has found them to be really good 4. Happy Hour all day Sunday featuring $2.50 pints and $0.49 wings 5. The staff has never disappointed me- everyone from the bar staff to the waitstaff to the kitchen staff has always been really friendly and accommodating 6. 2 dart boards, no waiting! Dislikes: 1. Lack of parking (not actually their fault, of course) 2. Their fries are over-battered, dry, flat disks. Kind of like potato chips if potato chips were over-battered, dry flat disks. In all, I love the place!

Delia Foley's has only been open a few short months and already it looks like it's attracted quite a crowd. A couple weeks ago we attempted to pay them a visit on a Sunday night around 7. Mistake. The place was so crowded you could barely get through the front doors. We immediately did an about face and went somewhere else. Needless to say, we don't like crowds. Anyway, back to our experience. We arrived there around 6pm on a Thursday evening. The general layout of the place is long bar to the left with tables and chairs lining the right-hand side of the space. There are not alot of tables and they fill up quickly. Unless you like to stand I'd recommend you get there early and secure yourself a spot. The decor, just like you'd expect. Irish themed all the way. Irish murals painted on the walls, soccer jerseys nailed to ceiling, Irish beers on tap, and Irish music. It's a bit like a leprechaun exploded. The menu isn't all that adventurous. It's basically a wing joint with a couple of sandwiches thrown in for good measure. We ordered the baked potato soup for an app and it was pretty disappointing. Its flavor wasn't all that bad but it was lukewarm when it arrived and it had the consistency of wallpaper paste. There are a couple dozen wing flavors from which to choose, I went with the chipotle lime. They were actually pretty good, crispy, steaming hot and flavored well. Served in groups of 10 they came with a side of blue cheese and celery. My wife ordered the curry chicken sandwich. Not that great. There was hardly any chicken on it and it ended up being more of a mushroom and onion curry sandwich. The bread it was on, some kind of soft baguette type roll was pretty good. The service wasn't bad. We had a two-top around the corner from the bar so I think that helped. Our beers rarely stayed empty long and our server was friendly enough, a bit too friendly for my taste. He was apparently one of those touchy-feely types and it seemed every time he came over to ask how things were he had to rest his hand on my shoulder or touch my back. Not a fan. Smiles good. Lingering touches on my shoulder by the guy taking my beer order not good. Respect the personal space people. Another word of advice, parking sucks. I know everyone knows this is the case when it comes to Federal Hill, but this location is particularly brutal. And the parking Nazis are relentless. Read the signs carefully. Most, if not all, of the spaces around Delia Foley's are 2-hour parking until 6pm after which time they are permit only. I learned my lesson after a $52 ticket. If you can walk, do it. If you have to park in the area, check and re-check to make sure you're not in a permit spot.

I've stopped in here a few times now. At least once I walked out after sitting at the bar waiting for a bartender for several minutes, on a night that wasn't crowded at all. Tonight there was a decent crowd and the music was not too loud. I was able to be seated at a table and a waiter came by pretty quickly. However, after that the service was slow. I had the Irish Mac n Cheese and it was literally just that. I somehow expected a side of something, but it finally came (hot, though!) in a iron broiler pan. In my mind it could have used my corned beef. But it was fine. My biggest beef (not corned) is the service, which was rather slow. Not sure if it was the kitchen or the wait staff or both. I'd have given much more slack if it had been a game night of some kind (there are two NCAA Tourney games in progress, but the crowd was there to hang out, not watch the games). I'll have to try out some of the other places the same owner of Foley's owns as well. I know this location is off the beaten path of S. Charles St. a bit, but it could make up for it by consistent attention to service.

My husband and I live down the street and stopped in last night for a couple drinks. We were two of maybe 20 people at 9 pm and sat at the empty bar. We waited five minutes for service. The bartender was three feet away talking to a couple that appeared to be his friends. Finally a bar back came over to him and pointed to us and then the bar back served us. We finished one round and sat with empty glasses still not getting service from the bartender. I love the atmosphere and think the place is cool, but that lack of service for no reason is unacceptable! I'm not sure if it was us he didn't like or is just horrific at his job but either way it was a terrible experience!

  • Emily W.

Bleh and meh. For me, it's just the layout that stinks. The bartenders took a little long to take my order, but I'm pretty sympathetic. In fact, I tend to rate a place by how comfortable I feel when it's slammed, and sometimes you just have to cut the barkeeps some slack. Although I didn't try the food, it smelled good. My whole gripe is that there is a huge swath through the middle of the place that could be used for seating and isn't. Not only does it make the first floor feel like an immense cavern, but it also makes for an uncomfortable experience, where I was left standing up and elbow-to-elbow with the Hons spilling their beer on me. I would go back, but only if they had either: 1. more seating or 2. a magic money tree Preferably both. I like to sit when I count my Benjamins.

A laid-back Irish pub with decent food (great wings) and a solid beer selection. The wings of destiny are a must-try. I get the feeling that the majority of the crowd are people that live close by (like myself). It's a welcome shift from all the chaos of cross street if you just want to grab a bite and a beer.

  • Edwin L.

Came here with my friends for a late Sunday lunch, and not surprisingly, the place was dead. A two story floor bar, with numerous HDTVs, I would think more people would be there to catch some NCAA tournament games. Anyway, this bar does hold a skee ball machine on the bottom floor, but my friends were way too unmotivated to play that day. We just wanted their wings. If you want variety of flavors for your wings, this is the place for you. There are at least 40 types of flavored wings you can choose from (Asian, Caribbean, and Traditional, anything you can choose from). Our table chose the Jamaican Jerk, Classic, Honey Mustard, and Wings of Destiny. None of them are that spicy and actually quite tolerable. The wings were fairly typical, nothing to ride home about. The only gripe I have with this place is their service. My friend kept on asking for extra pieces of lemon for his drink. Our waitress told my friend that if he was going to ask for more lemon, he is going to have to pay for them. Her reasoning... she was fed up in cutting up lemons. I thought that was sort of rude and it's definitely not the way how you treat a customer if you are looking for more business. I would not come here again just from this incident.

Great wings, great service. Tons options for wing sauces from your standard buffalo to dry rubs and "wings of destiny" an amazing DF creation that is well worth the trip. Not to mention, Jamison is usually on special as is harp.

Delia Foley's has the best wing selection in Baltimore, hands-down... But their wings got A LOT smaller and more expensive. They are just tiny now- I used to only be able to eat half an order, now they are so small I can eat a full order and still be hungry...but i'm paying more for them? Disappointing, considering the beer variety and bar environment as a whole is great. Bring back the bigger wings and this is a top-notch bar!!

  • Daniel S.

I am a huge wing person. I have eating something buffalo at least twice a week my whole life. I was worried about finding a good place in Fed Hill and tried almost all of them. This place can do wings. They have a wide range of flavors so you can literally find anything you could possibly want. They will even mix a few of their amazing sauces together. Better yet, you get a deal when you buy a beer ANY day of the week. Its a win, win. It has a cool atmosphere and I've never had to wait long for wings. I go almost every week. I would definitely recommend it if you're a wing person and to try something new and delicious!

My roommates and I have been going to Delia's for almost a year now, pretty steadily, on Wednesday nights for wings. We keep going back because the wings are awesome (my fave Charleston Gold, my roommates like the Garlic Parm and Wings of Destiny) and the servers and bartenders are top of the line. We only go on Wednesdays (even though wings are the same price every day) because of the waitress, Molly. She remembers all of our drink and food orders, even a friend of mine who doesn't like lime in his rum and coke. Molly is a fantastic waitress and wish she worked more nights so we we wouldn't be limited to just Wednesdays!!! Highly suggest hitting up Delia's- always a good vibe, especially if the O's are playing.

A different take on the previous two incarnations of the bar on Fort & Charles since I've lived here, Delia Foleys was one to try. The first time I was there it was way too crowded to even move so we left. The second time it was nearly empty. Both times were on weekends when I'd figured they'd have a good crowd. Not that it matters on the inside, the paint on the outside is hideous. But it stood out, and I went, so maybe that was the point. On the inside, there's just some Irish decorations and TVs, nothing different really. They did have a few different beers but wasn't impressed with their house brew that I had. Bartender was pleasant and they even had specials for a Saturday night which you don't see often. Overall, we ended up having one beer and leaving because we were bored. It's tough with a space that big - I know they must have to sell a lot to pay the rent/mortgage, but maybe use that space for something fun to do? It's just too big for nothing to be going on. I'll try it again to see if it was just an off night (and to try some of the other drafts), but there are plenty of other Fed Hill watering holes as well.

Wait for food was over an hour!! Shepherd's Pie lacked freshness & flavor: was made from canned vegetables and bland. Fried fish was unique but not great. Server was nice and gave us a free round while waiting for over an hour for the food. Good beer selection.

Solid Irish bar. Plenty of obligatory green decorations and some interesting statues that can catch you off guard. The best thing we ate were the wings. Crispy edges but not dry. As others have mentioned, there are 30+ sauces. If you like them hot, head strait to the skull and crossbones rated sauces - skip the shamrocks. The corned beef egg rolls were good. The caesar salad was nothing special, nothing bad. Popcorn shrimp was basically medium-sized, tail off, battered and fried shrimp. They can be covered in any of the wing sauces, but I'd stick with the wings. Beer selection and layered Guiness combos were good. The waitress clearly had some friends at one of the tables, but the wait for a beer wasn't more than a couple minutes. It took a good 20 min to get our first order of wings, even though there were only two other tables when we placed the order. The kitchen messed up one of our orders and our food didn't come out at the same time. None of this was enough to dampen our happy hour trip though.

Food was awful. Atmosphere was lame. Wish I hadn't gone.

Went here on a Thursday night around 8pm. Good beer selection, good wings - especially the caribbean pepper jelly. Nice atmosphere but they could use a few more tables (just a handful of high-tops in the middle between the bar and the 4-tops would be really helpful). We had to stand and wait for a table for about 15 minutes but it was not a big deal. Also it got pretty loud later in the evening, but that's typical for fed hill.

Great food, good beers on tap, and dozens more in bottles. Daily specials on food. Pretty awesome for a brand new bar in FedHill.

Good wings, good prices, nice beer selections and a friendly staff. A good place to go for a casual weekend night or after work for dinner. Try the mango habanero wings.

I'm not a huge fan of wings, but I absolutely love the boneless wings here. My favorite flavors are the mango-habanero and honey-jalapeno. I haven't tried many other items on the menu, but I definitely think that this place is a huge improvement!

Good wings and some interesting choices for them. They ran out of a beer that I like but the bartender recommended something else that was really tasty. I think I will have to go back there.

Very nice place. If you like beer ... it worth going here for just that. Didn't eat ... but everything looked awesome and smelled great. I've been to 3 incarnations of this spot ... and Delia Foley's is the best so far ! Hopefully this one sticks !
