I find Chili's to be average. I've been dying to come here for ages and my friend finally took me over the weekend. I got a hard cider, southwest mac and cheese and a jalapeno burger, hold the pig. The burger was good while not fully medium rare as I specified. The outside was black as tar and the inside had spots of pink. The jalapenos need to be spaced out better so I'm not eating a whole jalapeno in one bite. It is best paired with the ranch sauce given since it's cooling. The mac & cheese was good. Spicy. As you can see I love spicy food. My server was just as ditzy as she wanted to be. I asked for a bowl to bag my food and she never returned with one so I took the glass bowl and put it in my doggy bag. She just kept dropping by asking about the meal and looking at my unfinished food. I was the only one who had food left lol. She never remembered my bowl even while looking at me sitting at a table with a styrofoam container and still not understanding. My friends payed and everything and my food was still chilling on the plate just holding out hope for that bowl that never came... The mango lemonade is good. Really good. I want to go back for actual alcoholic beverages. Maybe a happy hour.

My Fancé had all the problems at this eatery on The Avenue. First she got old shriveled up Corn. They replaced that and then when she dug into her breaded chicken strips found a wire. Looked to come from the deep fry baskets, so we called for a manager and he replaced her meal. He took it off the bill but permanent stay away damage was done.

I'm usually a big fan of Chili's, I'd give it the best ratings of the fast food sit down chain restaurants. But I can't in good conscience give this place a review. The service and food are blah at best, better eats can be found over at TGIF.

This restaurant itself is just a mess, underwhelming and unsanitary. I came in with my friend because this is where she wanted to eat, i was not to fond of the idea, given bad experiences i have had before at this location. First of all, anyone who rates this restaurant a 5 must never go out to eat to nice restaurants or maybe for their budget this is a nice place. The restaurant itself is run down, there are ants that crawl on the booths by the windows. The management is very inexperienced, uneducated, and even for a low grade restaurant like chilis they are inadequate to manage. the staff however is very friendly and younger. they are there to make money, it is definitely a turn and burn restaurant. you come to this location for quick food it is definitely quantity vs quality. you can see into the kitchen from the open walkways and you would think since the view is very clear into the kitchen you would want to take better care of the kitchen. trash and smashed chips can be seen all over the restaurant, napkins thrown every where..... the restaurant is just poorly managed and not cleaned appropriately, i feel if the health department made a surprise visit to this location it would need ot be shut down. i do not feel safe or ok ever eating here again and i highly advise if you must eat at a chilis location make the drive to bel air....... the management there is on point the store itsef is well maintained and cared for and you dont have to worry about finding little critters running around..... if i could give this location 0 stars i would!

Just received a salad at Chili's on the Avenue on dirty plate. Unacceptable. This after slow service and a bit of an attitude about seating. I've been coming here a longtime and it seems to be steadily going down hill. If this continues they won't last much longer. Still waiting for the manager to come and apologize for the dirty plate and for our check. About an hour later my friend got a bad stomach ache. Don't eat there.

I have always received good service at this chili's restaurant. The servers are quick to fill your drinks and always available for any of your needs. The food is the standard Chili's menu which I find average for restaurant's in its class. There is nothing that stands out or that you can't get elsewhere, but it is a good standby if you like to mix up where you eat. The seating is comfortable and it is not too loud. I don't know if I am a fan of the table computer that you can put in your own order. It is nice that your credit card does not leave the table when you pay, but can't the staff carry a portable device?

I don't normally care for chain restaurants, but Chili's is the one exception. For starters, you should get the chips and salsa. It is bottomless and is probably some of the best chips and salsa I've ever had (and I'm a huge chips and salsa snob). What is also nice is that if you order some to go (this not included in the order you eat there) it comes in a microwave safe bag so your chips come out warm. I also love the Quesadilla Explosion Salad. It;s pretty much a chicken salad WITH quesadillas on it! You get the best of both worlds when you're trying to eat healthy, but really love quesadillas at the same time. I'd also recommend washing everything down with a frozen mango margarita. They rim the glasses with sugar instead of salt which I absolutely love! The service is also pretty good. There are 2 servers to every table so they are usually pretty on top of things.

Service was horrible. This was a To Go order. She didn't greet me. My order was wrong and without waiting to see if everything was okay. Twice she left me standing there to go sit down at the bar and continue her conversation with her coworker. This is not the first time I have experienced this. Definitely need to put in a call to Corporate.

Came here with my friends, and it was such a mistake. First off we were sat at this super small table, and asked to move to a booth twice. The waitress said we could twice, and yet they kept letting other people take the booths as soon as it was clean. No communcation between the waitress and host staff. Next the waitress would give the guys refills but I had to ask for one multiple times. We had another waitress once the the other one left, and she was just as bad and had an attitude. Now for the food. It was not good at all, and everything was super greasy. The only thing that was okay were the cinnamon apples. But who comes to a restaurant just to eat cinnamon apples. Service terrible, food terrible, not wasting my time with this place again.

I can't understand why this place is so popular. Although I generally enjoy their salads, I've been disappointed by most other menu items. Today had to be the worst experience we've had. Making good french fries isn't hard, you cook them at the right temperature for the right amount of time and they are great. These were not great. The burgers were okay, but not great. I tried the spicy shrimp tacos. I can't understand why anyone would order them twice. They were overly spicy and the side sauce was just plain disgusting. The only saving grace was our waitress, she was a delight. 2 is the best rating I can give them.

I cannot comment on the restaurant experience but the To-Go experience was not good at all. I received my order 15 min after the scheduled time despite being the only person at the To-Go counter, I did not receive my drink (that I was charged for), my garlic roasted tomatoes were shriveled & small, my salsa was leaking and dripped from the plastic bag it was held in and my actual sandwich had no avocado at all and was in four strewn about pieces in the container. I would not recommend this location due to the poor service and I will not be returning.

The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. The server was incredibly polite. But they would not serve me despite my VALID state license proving that I am of age. The manager Aaron was horribly rude in explaining the company's policies to me - belittling me and being condescending and short in his responses. Even cutting me off while I was speaking. He embarrassed me in front of my company and ruined my dining experience.

I'm not a chain restaurant fan. Very few chain restaurants impress me. Having said that, my supervisor decided to take me and the other team leader of our dept out to lunch today, for our hard work during our company's fiscal year end preparation. I'm not gonna pass up a free meal, lol. Service was ok. Nothing spectacular, pretty average. We received our food promptly, which was great considering we were on lunch break. I got a lunch combo with chili and a margarita fresh mex bowl. The chili was ok...flavorful, but the texture of the meat was kind of weird. The fresh mex bowl....ugh. Flavor was good. But there was barely any chicken, and the rice was hidden under a mound of beans and corn. And some of the rice was hard. All in all, unless it's free, I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

One of the waitresses kneeled next to me to give my daughter a hot plate by REACHING OVER MY FOOOD, and allowing her nasty table wiping clothe to lay on my food. She walked away as if it was okay for me to eat that plate. When I sent it back, EVERYONE apologized except her. She sautéed by me several times and never said a word. The sheer disrespect is such a turn off and I will never go back.

Did not honor prices that was in the menu. Due to me not sitting in a specific area. I should have been told to get get happy hour prices I would have to be at the bar. Was not stated to me, so I should have gotten the prices on the menu. will not be back to visit.

My dining experiences in White Marsh have left me with an ultra sour taste in my mouth. Upon arriving, the happy hour menu sat on the table in a holder and I was very impressed with the prices. Since I have the Chili's app on my Samsung Galaxy Note Tablet phone (yea I had to introduce my phone with its government name) I received a coupon for a free appetizer. I ordered the southwestern egg rolls which is fairly close to being my favorite restaurant dish. Still in love with the happy hour prices I ordered a strawberry mango margarita. The strawberry margarita came out and sipping it was like sticking a straw in a strawberry, then sticking a straw in a lemon and sipping on both of those straws at the same d*** time! SMH and then I remembered, I ordered a strawberry mango margarita. I guzzled my alcoholic kool-aid and ask for another with more of an alcoholic kick this time....hell why not it was only 5 buck each. The food came out and it was tasty considering that I ordered a medium well steak and the steak on my plate seemed to be rocking pink in support of breast cancer. Sigh...I ate most of it because my entree was not free and dare i was food. When we asked for the check my eyes seemed to deceive me at the first glance because the drinks on the tab were priced at $8 and not at the advertised $5. I was gonna let it go but my bestie was like "Awww hell naw" :) Love her!!!! She pointed out to the server who acted like the laziest bobble head in the world the price in the menu did not match the price on the table. This thing had the nerve to tell us that the happy hour menu is only applicable if we sit at the bar. That statement call out my darker half. First of all why is it that menu that does not apply to the table sitting on the table in plain view for the costumer? Secondly, lady, if you see customers ordering from a menu where the discounts do not apply, why didn't you say anything? I spoke my mind, paid my portion of the tab as is and left my two cents, literally. I never seen my bestie move that fast as she thought this lady was gonna come after us because I left a 2 cent tip! I wish she would :) Lesson learned, White Marsh will not get another cent from me unless its at Zburger or the movie theater!

Sitting at the bar, drinking my wine and waiting for my Steak Fajitas. They are my comfort go to food and I am hungry. So far so good ( this is a real time review!). Bartender is nice enough and took my order promptly...last patrons at the bar left a bit ago and it hasn't been cleaned up yet....oooooh...not good. But the bartender is chatting up a guy at the end of the bar. Tictok...clean the mess up...16 minutes now....sorta very cold in here....done at the 18 minute mark. Playing Candy Crush while I wait. Level 482 is really painful. Of my fajitas are here totally sizzling. YUM. Well overall....I came in for Fajitas and they were so yummy..not high cuisine, just yummy. And that plus a glass of wine after a long day is just what I needed. Bravo Chili's !!

They have a big sign out front that says call ahead for seating. I call ahead and they take tell me they do not take call ahead seating. I asked about the sign I had seen in the past out front. I'm told, yes we do have the sign out front , but we don't take call ahead seating. Seems to me they should take the sign down but when I asked they tell me that they cannot because it's a corporate policy???

Very good service. The food was great tonight. If we needed anything more like napkins drinks or anything else we got them. I have been here before but last time I was here the service sucked. I was willing to try them again and I'm glad I did.

Been to Chili's multiple times and never made a review. Went tonight with the wife and kid and things are changing. Not necessarily for the good. They have the foursquare app where you check in and get a free appetizer and now they send coupons to your email and tell you at the end of your meal that you can only use one. Great food though! I recommend the Fajita

Boy oh boy has whitemarsh gone downhill. The tag team waiter service was weird and it took a long time to get what you ordered. Place is okay, food is okay, but they have margaritas so that's cool.

Ate here recently and was not too impressed with service. Food was good for your typical chain would give it 4 stars. Waitress talked a mile a minute and rushed u. We order appetizer and our dinner was brought out to us by someone else. And my hubby explained we never got our appetizer. So he took dinner away and eventually appetizer was brought to us and then our dinner. Not sure if in her rushing she forgot to put in app. But she never came over to apoligize to us for what happened. Something was lost in communication. Like that u can pay at the table and do survey though. More restaurants shoukd have that ability.

I used to work here as a server, and i visit once in a while. It isn't bad at all. Staff are great, lots of TVs. Bar is stocked with alcohol if that's your thing. It gets really filled on fridays and saturdays, so come early.

What a disappointment. My girl and I came here two weeks ago. We got the 2 for $20 deal. The service was excelent and the guac and chips were very good. However the place looked dirty, it was nearly empty for a saturday night (7pm) and the chicken fajitas were terrible! I would not recommend this restaurant to ANYONE!! Save your money and go somehwere else!

For some reason, every time I come in here, I end up just standing around for a while before anyone acknowledges me. The food is average and the service is seriously lacking. I ordered via online and picked up food once too - everything was ready when I got there at the promised time, but by the time I got home (maybe a 3 minute drive...) my food was cold :( Or maybe it was cold to begin with...

Would not call our experience "good". I went to chili's with my family and we're looking to get some good food. My drink was fine but most of my other family's glasses had stuff that made them look "dirty". We told the waitress. Then when we got appetizers the plates were dirty too. They took the dirty ones and never returned them. Just because of that, we left and went to Red Brick instead. Not very good experience so I wouldn't recommend this location and will not be returning.

    (1)

Our server is usually Raven, and she's one of the main reasons we frequent this chilis. She is outstanding and goes out of her way to make every experience amazing. The food is always great, love their happy hour. We always sit at the bar to benefit from their happy hour. Don't know why people mention dirty dishes? I've been here so many times Raven knows my name and I've never had a dirty dish.

Waiter should have had some help in the bar area. A little slow but the Trio fajita and the trio margaritas was awesome. This is a great after work special. I didn't even work today. All I can say is I was very relaxed. Thumbs up

Haven't really had a good or bad experience here. The food is generally decent, but from time to time it gets a little crowded. Sometimes the restaurant tables and booths seem "greasy", so a little better clean-up would be appreciated. This Chili's is decent.

I normally don't review chain restaurants, or other national chains for that matter, on Yelp unless it is strictly a service issue. There are so many decisions and influences at the corporate level that a local store cannot combat. So, I will start out by saying that I intend to email Chilis corporate. I have eaten at Chilis dozens of times over the past, say, five years. So a certain expectation has been established. But I feel like over the past year or so, the food quality has gone seriously down hill. The portions are noticeably smaller and there is an obvious 'cheapening' of the ingredients. I get that maybe a lot of families are looking for more 'value' in their meals, but I doubt many of them are willing to sacrifice quality. The biggest thing to me that stands out is the grilled chicken. I used to be able to identify a real (possibly fresh?) grilled chicken breast in most Chili's salads & Sandwiches. Overcooked, usually, yes, but nice and charred with real grill marks. Well, now it seems they've switched over to some pre-cut, frozen, microwaved chicken strips (sort of like the ones you buy in the supermarket, pre-cooked and packaged in a resealable bag). It is so obviously processed it is embarassing. Slimy chicken, no more grill marks. My daughter ordered chicken fingers and corn on the cob (again, its a kids meal, I'm not expecting hand battered chicken and freshly shucked corn) and the corn was artificially yellow, the kernels were all smushed and it had no taste. I hope Chilis puts more effort and money into its ingredients. I have lots of other chain options within a 1 mile radius.

All three of my stars are for the food only. The bartender who was serving us was too quiet to understand, and was a little rude. He sat behind the bar on his phone most of the time. If i could hear him, i would drop his name. I like chili's food, I don't think I'll be back at this location.

I came here with my fiancee while we were at the Avenue, and it was okay... we came on the way back from Costco, which we went to after our flight arrived in BWI. We were kind of out of it, but since we were eating an early dinner ~5:30pm, we were seated pretty fast. We were served quickly, checked on from time to time, and the food wasn't noticably worst than any other chilis... Overall okay, but nothing special.

I've been here many times, and like everyone says, its okay. The chips and queso is good i guess. Nothing that they serve you can't make at home. The nachos are better if you eat them there. I got them to go once and there were only 7 nachos. The boneless buffalo wings taste exactly like applebees and fridays. There's just not a lot to say about the food its just there. The ribs are pretty good, i like the sweeter sauce. The cheese fries aren't bad. I rather go to chili's before golden coral or something like that, but it is surely not the first place i would go.

    (2)
  • Michael U.

It's a shame you can't award negative stars. The staff, especially the hostest are beyond bad customer service to outright rude. Any place that would tell a 4yr old to shut-the-f&@# up and tell a 8 month pregnant woman that she must wait 25-30 minutes to be seated before she could use their bathroom is sad. Do yourself a favor and eat a microwave burger at a gas station, the quality will be better and surely the service will.

I used to work here as a server, and i visit once in a while. It isn't bad at all. Staff are great, lots of TVs. Bar is stocked with alcohol if that's your thing. It gets really filled on fridays and saturdays, so come early.

Haven't really had a good or bad experience here. The food is generally decent, but from time to time it gets a little crowded. Sometimes the restaurant tables and booths seem "greasy", so a little better clean-up would be appreciated. This Chili's is decent.

Both times I've been seated in the bar area. The servers are friendly. The fancy margaritas are quite tasty though the basic margarita was too sweet for me. Too much mix.

It's just ok here. The food isn't very good and the service is ok. I'd go to Friday's or Don Pablo's before going here.

I'm usually a big fan of Chili's, I'd give it the best ratings of the fast food sit down chain restaurants. But I can't in good conscience give this place a review. The service and food are blah at best, better eats can be found over at TGIF.

Waiter should have had some help in the bar area. A little slow but the Trio fajita and the trio margaritas was awesome. This is a great after work special. I didn't even work today. All I can say is I was very relaxed. Thumbs up
