Great selection of beers on tap. Live music is blues, classic rock, rockabilly, and sometimes jazz. Small, divey feel to it but also cozy. One of my favorite bars to go to. Weekends you will usually find the drunken crowds, which can be annoying. Patrons range from locals, regulars, to tourists. When the bands are on a break people actually talk to one another and get along. Not a pretentious atmosphere. Everyone is very down to earth and the bartenders are usually very friendly. If you're looking for a swanky, upscale bar with top 40 music playing this isn't the place for you. Otherwise, this is a favorite dive bar for most with live music and an atmosphere that is hard to find.

I've been here once. It was right before the Super Bowl (literally) and we were graced with the sounds of an amazing soul laden jazz trio. I don't know the name of the guys, but I believe they play there regularly on Sunday evenings. The old man singing had an impressive set of soulful lungs, that's for sure. Loved it! The service was amicable and the prices seemed typical. I'd definitely come back.

Mother/daughter duo Erica and Jessica took awesome care of us. A group of 3 of us met in Baltimore from NYC and Richmond, VA. Jessica the hostess helped us with parking so we wouldn't get a ticket, then sat us immediately. Erica served up two amazing crab cake sandwiches and crab tots. I couldn't stop dancing in my seat. We were so happy. She had the cook make my crab cake sandwich extra crispy & well done how I like it. The honey whiskey and Natty Bo's were right on time. Def coming back soon!

This is the bar that I have imagined existed but couldn't find until now! Nothin' fancy, just awesome blues, above average beer selection and a diverse fun crowd here for the right reason. I heard this was voted one of the top 20 bars to visit before you die. Hope I've got a few more stops in me before that happens. Top of the list when in Baltimore!!

I used to love this bar. Then I had a bad experience with Tony and his coworker (whose name I don't remember). I've been to this bar at least 3 or 4 times and Tony has always been great. Unfortunately, tonight Tony chose to believe his short, bald coworker when we went to pay our tab. We had 3 drinks total. We paid cash for the first 2 drinks and then wanted to pay credit for the last one. Tony could not remember that we paid cash for the first 2 drinks (probably because of the shots I watched him take....?), so he asked his coworker to verify. His coworker then SCREAMED at us that we did NOT pay cash and owed him for 3 drinks. We were told to "get the fuck out" when we questioned the tab. This makes me so sad because I live 3 blocks from this place and used to love it. Tony has also introduced himself to me EVERY TIME I've been there. He never seems to remember us. I wish this would have ended differently.

Live music and a REALLY GOOD BEER ON TAP selection. Owner of the bar is super cool and service is great. It is a little loud up front but the music is good and there is an area towards the back to hang out in and chat. 3.5 stars. I will be frequenting this place often.

Fun bar!!! Saw old man brown there and had an amazing time. I'll be back!!

I love this place. If I lived in Baltimore, I would probably come here all the time! Many beers to choose from... The owner is so nice and accomodating... He gave us huge samples of beer that we haven't tried yet (keep in mind, I'm from Chicago). Prices are mad cheap! The live music is amazing... We came on a Tuesday night, and it was far excellent. When I come back down, I will definitely come here again.

OK I get that it's a tourist bar, but I really liked it here. Friendly staff and pretty good live entertainment (I'll take a guy w an acoustic over a dj any day). Very nice beer selection. Good stuff.

One of the more awesome dive bars in B-More!!! Loved it...Friday night it's where you gotta be brah!

Hands-down my favorite dive bar in Charm City. Awesome live jams EVERY NIGHT, good beer selection, and a back patio that's open year-round for a quick cool down after dancing. The owner is one of the nicest guys I've met around Fells, and serves at the bar a few nights a week. Love the local presence. Not only is this place a Baltimore landmark, but they consistently draw a music-loving crowd searching for more than just your average cover band. The music? Not your average top forty. Think blues, folk, rockabilly. The groups brought in to play really know how to bring down the house, and I can't recall a time I ended up here that didn't end in an epic dance party. If I had to recommend one bar to a visiting out-of-towner, Cat's Eye would be it.

This place is loads of fun, but us stif-upper-lipped northerners gotta be willing to get down, dirty, and Baltimore! It's a historic bar in historic "piraty" Fells Point. They have live music, the band was pretty good when I was there! We had great conversations with some of the staff. As my friend told me, people WILL try to hit on you (not great). But also, people seem more open and laid back in Baltimore, so there's more conversation to be had with people you don't know (great!) I'm a fan, for history, music, and fun.

Not my cup of Tea. The Good: Live music, beyond casual, and has an outdoor patio in he back The Bad: charge $5 cover, only one bathroom stall, bartenders tend to be rude and weird (tried to steal my wallet once by saying "this looks like a fake ID I'm confiscating this whole wallet" was really bazaar and took me 10 min of harassing another bartender to get him to give it back--I'm 29 btw).

We had a terrible experience here about a month ago when we went to Baltimore with friends on Saturday night. We were walking around trying to find a place to go to. There were 2 bouncers at the door of this place and my friend asked if there was a cover. They said yes and she turned to me and asked me if I wanted to go there or someplace else. I didn't like the music so we started walking away. At that point one of the bouncers shouted at my friend: 'Are you Indian?' I am not sure what he was trying to imply, but that was incredibly offensive. Save your money and don't support this racist establishment.

One visit this last weekend on the advice of a friend in the music business. Cat's Eye is located on the tourist strip up against the waterfront. Small, convenient, lots of parking. But the presentation venue for the musical groups is absolutely horrible -- they are cut off from the crowd by a 4' separation (this kills the musical ambiance totally). First group was really not helpful for the Charm City reputation. Just not. So we decided to leave. Bar service on the way in was okay (3 bartenders), then it went to one bartender when they needed 4... people were stacked up against those patrons at the bar with a 10 minute wait time for a beer. One customer (apparently with knowledge of the staffing issues) said, "you need to order all your drinks at one time..." YIKES! So we finally got the single bartender to acknowledge us and asked to cash out... so he brought us another round of drinks... and then said he would cash us out.... (yes...). I guess the Pittsburgh "look" made us look easy. We know a bit about bands and presentation venues. This is not a place for a return trip or a recommendation. A Baltimore "landmark?" Honestly there are better places. f8 and be there.

Terri the bartender is FANTASTIC! She has been here for 30 years, and I gotta tell ya, these young bartenders could learn a thing or thirty from her! I highly recommend coming in to have a great time, or at least coming in to meet this cool woman :) She's here Monday, Wednesday, Friday until 7pm, and occasionally on the weekends. You know her by her silly cool hair.

I suppose there's a certain kind of person who ventures out to a bar on Christmas day. I don't think of myself as that kind of person, but when your sister turns 30 on Christmas you have to be willing to stretch a little. So we showed up at a dive bar to buy her a shot and have some fun. First of all, "divey" doesn't even begin to cover the condition of this tavern -- even in the near-darkness, it was clear the place hadn't been cleaned well within my lifetime. There were flags on the ceiling, stickers on the wall, and God knows what on the floor. Yikes. We ordered shots of Fireball, which were actually on the large side (served in a whiskey glass instead of a shot glass) and then moved on to microbrews, of which there were a decent handful: cherry wheat Sam Adams was actually an interesting complementary chaser. They do get points for enlisting a live band on Christmas day, but. Here was the band: a decent drummer, and a singer-guitarist who was drunk as a skunk and swore like a sailor. He was breaking strings left and right and pulling them out of his guitar like pliers. His voice actually wasn't bad, though the songs ran a little too far in the direction of country-western for my taste. The highlight of the evening was when another patron suddenly exclaimed, "HEY, I KNOW THIS SONG!" and proceeded to elbow her way onto the small platform where he was playing, grab the mike and sing, in a brassy half-shout, along with him. Boy, he loved that (it helped that she was young, attractive and equally drunk.) It was fun to watch, but as it wound down, we thought it was probably best to leave before the performance took any more sudden nosedives. Check, please?

Went to Cats Eye on a Friday night after a Ravens game. The crowd was definitely a lot older than what I usually see (definitely 40+). Good live music, they were hosting an Americana-type band that night. I would have enjoyed it much more if it hadn't been so crowded. The bar itself is not very big, which made it seem much more crowded. Not my cup of tea, but people seemed to be having a good time.

  • Rebecca A.

One of my favorite bars in Fells Point. Atmosphere is laid back and I like the outdoor patio too. They always have a good band. The crowd is slightly more "grown and sexy" which I can appreciate. I always have a good time here. The drinks are strong and the bar tenders are prompt. Cover charge after 9pm so get there early.

  • Jen M.

Yes, just in case you were wondering, you do want to visit Cat's Eye. Yes you'll have a cold beer, and yes you'll stay for the live music and you will tip well. If the Baltimore bar scene is Mt. Rushmore, this pub is Teddy-freakin-Roosevelt. When you walk in you just feel cool. The crowd is a mixture of locals and regulars, with the curious and well-meaning tourists thrown in for good measure. The drinks are strong and come quickly, thanks to some of the best bartenders in the Charm City. This crew is just groovy, man. An evening out in Fells is not to be without a cold, tall pint and some sick, sick blues, groove, funk and rock at Cat's Eye. The music lineup is live, local, and deeply Baltimore. Yes Scooter, even you can put some glide in your stride and a dip in your hip with these tunes.

  • Mary P.

On the waterfront in the heart of Fells point. $5 cover made me wonder what I was paying for inside and voila: live music. The Saturday night we went it had a group of five guys that reminded me of the Eagles. They had the crowd going with their country twist covers of 70s songs. For a group of 30 something there are (hopefully) better choices out there. We were the youngest by far since the majority were in their 40s and 50s. Points for fun interpretation of the music your parents listened to.

I used to love going to cats eye, but the owner, Tony, has ruined that experience for me. Tony goes out of his way to constantly pick fights in his bar, yes, I get it Tony, you own the bar. Its incredibly unprofessional to EVER lay hands on a customer and I have seen him do that numerous times. *embarrassing. I barely know him, but that bar is filled with drama and trash. Not recommended at all.

  • Kristin S.

Live blues and rock bands instead of pop covers, quirky decor, fun welcoming environment

    (4)

Definitely a dive. But quick service despite the crowd at the bar and decent selection of beer on tap. Outdoor patio in back allows smoking.

  • Lia M.

I actually have memories of this place, unlike someone else you may know (ahem *Aine* ahem). Another typical Fells Point pub, but I really like it, mainly for the same reason I like most bars in this area: cheap, strong, drinks with a come-as-you-are vibe and a friendly crowd that does not care what you wear, who you are, what you do, how much you make. I don't really care for the live music, mainly because it is loud and I can't have a conversation. And in Baltimore bars, people will actually have conversations with you.

    (4)
  • Melissa N.

Unpretentious and in the heart of Fells Point...this is the bar that I wished lived in my neighborhood, after talking to the bartender I learned to appreciate the story behind the place and the history. Ever wondered about the pictures above the wall where the band plays? Just ask

Loved this place! The bartender was awesome. The drinks were great. Great music, make this a fun place to hang out. Also they have Boddingtons on tap!

    (5)
  • Jennifer S.

They have 32 great beers on tap! It's small, well decorated, & the window view is of the Chesapeake Bay. I visited on a Thursday night & they had a band. Since they had a half wall dividing the band from the bar, moving around inside was fairly easy. Surely, this place attracted more happy faces than the other (lonlier) neighbor dive bars.

  • Madeline P.

My new favorite pub! Monster trucks on the tube and nearly 30 beers on tap. Eclectic group of folks and had good conversations with a couple different people. The bartender, Tracy, was a riot! Loved her. Plus ... it's #15 on the 125 places to have a beer before you die. How can you go wrong? allaboutbeer.com/live-be…

Cat's Eye is hands down the best place to live blues music in Baltimore. The place appears a little divey...but really it adds to its ambiance once you walk in an get acclimated (it's especially fun if you can get a seat near the front windows so you can watch the people walking by while listening to the band!). Great music....a few of my favorites include Dave Chappell & His So-Called Friends and Nate Myers and the Aces (you've never seen someone playing the harmonica like this guy!) A bit of an older crowd, but everyone enjoying each other and just having fun. There is almost always people dancing, drinking and having a good time. Get there before 9 p.m. if you don't want to pay a cover charge (they are usually pretty nominal with a max of like $5)...and don't come hungry as they don't serve any food (their specialty is the adult beverage:-)) It's a bar with a great heritage, interesting characters, great bartenders and is a Fells Point maintstay in my opinion. I'm never in Fells Point where I don't stop by for at least one drink and a song:-) Don't miss this place if you like live music!!!!

  • Jessie R.

So much fun. This is a great bar in Baltimore. The music is fantastic and a mini dance floor. It is small, but cozy. If you are looking for low key and people watch, this is the place to be.

  • Vickie S.

For a dive bar, it's completely on point. The beer isn't expensive. Not crazy cheap, either, though. You have about four choices there, but Magner's cider is on tap, which was great. It's not exactly clean. Parking is most certainly a bitch. There's a cover charge that's somewhat... flexible, depending on who and how many you have at the door. But the bar service is quick and sassy. My favorite part had to be the writing on the bathroom walls. Someone had quoted the Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock ("I should have been a pair of ragged claws/ Scuttling across the floor of silent seas.") and yet another pointed out that the midget danced all night. Someone's number for a good time, with an arrow to a comment: "Not that great!"

  • Kris H.

Came to this place bc of the great reviews. The bartenders were awful. One was so high he couldn't remember a thing and the other was so rude to us several times. This was the worst restaurant experience!

    (1)
  • Fatty A.

Great beers on tap. $6 for a pint isn't cheap for Baltimore but I am glad they had some uncommon beers. My gf molested the entire live band that night. I probs got herpes now.

  • Rob N.

I disagree that this is at heart a tourist bar. The Cat's Eye's been around longer than the tourist throngs, and it's still pretty true to its roots, even if they do sell logo T-Shirts these days. Good and relatively cheap beer, good service, decent music, more than a little dive-y, it's one of the better joints to grab a brew or two in Fells Point. It's the perfect combination of kitsch and grungy watering hole. Pair this up with a few pints at the Wharf Rat or a can or five o' cheap Natty Boh at the nearby BAR over on Lancaster, and you've got an evening.

great dive bar with really friendly service and awesome craft beer. what more could you want?

  • Howie A.

Two words. Fucked up!!! That's what the owner of this bar is! Constantly fucked up and out of his mind. His Mexican friend offered me drugs and implied I could go upstairs with him and the owner of the bar and do them. Meanwhile the owner grabbed my girlfriends ass after his girlfriend who had been talking to us for an hour left to smoke. Not sure if he realistically thought he would be able to bring two girls upstairs with his girlfriend for a foursome but if he did he was sadly mistaken. If that's not what he was trying to do then I feel bad for his girlfriend who doesn't seem old enough to be in that bar. As I vented about the owner out back while smoking a cigarette, I was informed how he steals and gets away with murder at cats eye because apparently his family owns the bar. In fact it was comical to everyone else when I called him the owner of the bar....they all laughed and asked if thats what he told me because that was far from the truth. If you are into drugs and unwanted advances then this is your place. I'm sure that this review will somehow help perpetuate this bars drug reputation and bring more people in hoping to score drugs....which I'm fine with but won't be a part of. I would give a 4-5 star rating if it wasn't for one employee. Awesome place with great music. Just find a safe corner and keep to yourself and you will be fine.

This place is fantastic. The bartender was very nice and spent time chatting with us. We arrived around 3pm and this was randomly the first place that we stopped upon arriving from California. We got a brief history about the place. Drinks were cheap. Locals were great! Live music. What more could you ask for? NOTHING. It's perfect. A must stop for every beer lover out there.

Sorry.. I want to LOVE the Cat's Eye.. but we haven't had great experiences there. Generally packed on the weekends, we have come to expect the "bumper people" atmosphere of the front room, where the band is. Drinks are small and overpriced unless you are a regular there. While we've frequented the place a number of times (due to meeting up with friends), we don't receive that courtesy. Bartender's services are usually very hasty and abrupt. We get that it's busy but rudeness isn't necessary either. The bands are usually a blast - our older friends don't seem to understand that people under 50 do know the hits they play and we enjoy them too. The part I don't get is that we pay a cover charge, and then someone routinely walks around with a tip jar for the band. Where is that cover charge going? We've approached the door looking for friends of ours to meet up with, and at 1:25am were turned away by the bouncer, indicating that they were closed. When we asked if we could just check for a friend who was to be there, we were told to "just call them". (We already had tried). We will likely stay away from here to frequent other places in the area.. sad, but there are bands in each bar.. and many are excellent, just like at Cat's Eye.

A big fat no for us- several people like this place but we went on a Saturday afternoon and was packed with people 60+ years old and no one served us during the first 10 minutes of being there so we left. We won't be going back either as there are many other places much better than this

    (1)
  • Andrew R.

Cool bar -- crowded and loud, but enough room to move around, lines for drinks were short, and the band was great. $5 cover though.

    (4)
  • Kate O.

I really loved this place- the band that was playing really made it a great experience. The crowd seems to be mostly middle age couples but the people are nice & it's in a nice part of town. If it seems super packed try making it to the back room; you can still hear the music but there's lots more room.

    (4)
  • Reena M.

Awesome pub with good brews on tap. I will always remember this place as where I lost my Natty Boh virginity when Jamie S. let me try a bit of his pint of Natty Boh. That is when I was truly inducted into the Balmer Yelp community. Though, I have to admit, my favorite brew that evening was the Sam Adams Cherry Ale. Booze aside, the blues band that came to play here was friggin' awesome! I loved the music and it seemed like a great venue for people to get together in. I wish we had something similar in Vancouver.

  • Jenny M.

Great place. Can get crowded but everyone is pretty polite. Got my Natty Boh on tap! Sweet! And the windows were open this weekend. Yay. So I love it there, the live music is fun. And I am NEVER the oldest person in the bar, so I'm very psyched!!!

  • Steve J.

Awesome pub experience. This was the first bar I had ever been to and certainly set the BAR high (so to speak) for many other bar experiences along the way. My friends and I would frequent this bar every weekend during the summer of 1996. The place was always packed and always had some Irish band playing great music.

Awesome spot for live music. I tend to prefer it during the week since it can get crazy crowded on the weekends. This place is one of the best places in Fells.

  • Marc M.

Very cool place. Packed on a Sat but what isnt. Visited from NYC and was pleased to see an age diverse crowd. Great live music. Bartenders were great. All the rest is a blur honestly. Which means we had a great time!!!! If you close it out youre going to have a wait to get a cab though.

  • John W.

Great dive bar in Fells Point with good beer on tap. Our bartender, Rob, was very attentive and nice, and kept our drinks fresh, even though all the bartenders appeared to be "in the weeds" busy. Was there with my girlfriend and her cousin by recommendation fo some locals we met earlier in the day. They did not steer us wrong. The place was packed. There seemed to be some locals here but also some tourists, like us, and everyone was friendly and having a good time.

  • Mindy M.

The best place to hear live music in the area. This is a local fav and you're sure to be pleased with the musical selection on any given night. Don't be surprised if there is a cover to get in. If you've read my other reviews, you know I'm cheap. I have no issues paying the cover to hear the band of the night at this location. The beer on tap is excellent even if it is a little pricey at times (don't expect a HH any time soon). Also be aware that they have no food so don't come hungry!!! I would give this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the lack of food. There is a back bar that sports a different board game on each table top which, especially after a few beers can really make for a fun night. This bar has a bit of history to it as well which makes it super special to the locals. Kenny Orye, a former owner of the bar who died in 1987 is said to haunt the pub where he died upstairs in his bed. There are supposedly other ghosts that haunt the place and the pub is a stop on the local ghost tour of Fells Point. Across from the bar is a 22foot mural of Ireland's entire history- it's pretty amazing to look at.

  • Mark M.

Typical Fells Point divebar watering hole. At night there's usually a band of middle aged never-gonna-make-it-big white dudes playing covers of classic rock tunes, while other middle aged locals and tourists scream along and throw back the beers as if they're still teenagers and not moms with 4 kids and a mortgage payment on a ramshackle abode out in the county. To each their own. Not really my type of joint, but I could see someone having a good time here. One of the reviewers below referred to this as a "traditional Irish pub". That description gets a big fat "HUH???" in response. As an Irishman from Boston (well okay...half Irish, half Italian), I'm curious if said reviewer has ever been to an Irish pub before, because this bears no resemblance to any Irish pub I've ever been to. None.

Great bar service, lots of beer choices, quirky crowd, and weird music. The price is average for Fells Point. Favorite memory was seeing like a 70 year old guitarist changing shirts right up on stage. LOL

Welcome to Cougar Town. I give this place 1 star and 5 meows. Maybe I'm missing something based on the other reviews but yeah, no thanks.

One of my favorite dives in Fells. Always interesting to sit and chat with the older crowd in the early afternoon. They have plenty of decent drafts and I can usually find a good hefeweizen on tap. Decor is old nautical and kitchy collectibles throughout time on and around the bar. You can see the history on this bar. Blues bands are some of the best around and always give a good show. For a hoppin' bar on Thames it's still pretty local in flavor.

    (4)
  • Ben M.

I've been coming here on and off for a long time and I still love the place. Parking is a pain, as is anywhere in Fells, but it's worth it if you like dive-type bars.

  • John B.

Absolutely the best place in Fell's Point for live music...everything from blues to jazz to in-your-face rock and roll. Great people...on both sides of the bar. The owner - Tony - watches over everything with a good eye for ensuring that everyone is having a good time. The bartenders are efficient and on their toes, and the crowd is happy and friendly...and will tell you anything you want to know at the drop of the hat. The drinks are honest and well-priced. A second bar area is in the back room...in case the front room - and band - isn't as quiet as you might like. But get there early for a good place to sit or stand before the music starts, 'cause this is a hoppin' place...even at 4 on a Saturday afternoon. You won't regret stopping in...and the Cat's Eye Pub will quickly become one of your favorite haunts.

An extremely friendly and fun bar! The owner, bartenders, and regulars all make you feel like you've been going to Cat's Eye Pub as long as they have. Cat's Eye has a great selection of beer (about 40+ on draught and ~20 bottled). The bartenders are always excited to show you the new beers! The music is incomparable. There is an amazing band every night. Even the weekend happy hour bands are awesome! Some pretty big artists (both locally and internationally) have, and will continue to, stepped on the small and intimate stage of the Cat's Eye Pub. The proximity of the band is one of the greatest attributes of Cat's Eye. The audience feels like they're part of the band- especially with a VERY interactive performer- while still having plenty of room to dance and let loose. You never know who is going to walk through the doors at Cat's Eye Pub (from Tyrone Vaughn and Bruce Willis many years ago)! More recently, Kelly Bell and G Love (of G Love and Special Sauce) have been to Cat's Eye within the past month- and they were not at all shy to jump up and join the band! All in all Cat's Eye Pub is a great bar filled with all walks of life. No matter what night you walk into Cat's Eye you are guaranteed to have a night to remember!

This is one of my favorite bars in Baltimore. Great place to see live music. Owner and bartenders are nice. Not a huge beer selection, but they usually have something decent on tap. Awesome people watching place- there is always an odd mix of people there. I always have a great time here. Love it.

Do yourself a favor and visit the Cat's Eye Pub next time you are in Baltimore. Located in Fells Point, this traditional Irish Pub offers a great mix of ambience, music and characters. My wife and I make it a point to visit Cat's Eye every time we are in Baltimore and always leave with a huge smile. The music is always awesome and will vary from Irish, Blues, Jazz, etc, depending on the band playing that night. But what we love about Cat's Eye the most is the friendly folks that we always meet there.

Unpretentious and in the heart of Fells Point...this is the bar that I wished lived in my neighborhood, after talking to the bartender I learned to appreciate the story behind the place and the history. Ever wondered about the pictures above the wall where the band plays? Just ask

  • Kate O.

I really loved this place- the band that was playing really made it a great experience. The crowd seems to be mostly middle age couples but the people are nice & it's in a nice part of town. If it seems super packed try making it to the back room; you can still hear the music but there's lots more room.

Cool bar -- crowded and loud, but enough room to move around, lines for drinks were short, and the band was great. $5 cover though.

So much fun. This is a great bar in Baltimore. The music is fantastic and a mini dance floor. It is small, but cozy. If you are looking for low key and people watch, this is the place to be.

Came to this place bc of the great reviews. The bartenders were awful. One was so high he couldn't remember a thing and the other was so rude to us several times. This was the worst restaurant experience!

Great place. Can get crowded but everyone is pretty polite. Got my Natty Boh on tap! Sweet! And the windows were open this weekend. Yay. So I love it there, the live music is fun. And I am NEVER the oldest person in the bar, so I'm very psyched!!!

Awesome pub experience. This was the first bar I had ever been to and certainly set the BAR high (so to speak) for many other bar experiences along the way. My friends and I would frequent this bar every weekend during the summer of 1996. The place was always packed and always had some Irish band playing great music.

Live music and a REALLY GOOD BEER ON TAP selection. Owner of the bar is super cool and service is great. It is a little loud up front but the music is good and there is an area towards the back to hang out in and chat. 3.5 stars. I will be frequenting this place often.

Came here last night with a group of friends and I absolutely loved the band... I think the band's name was 'Ed and the Hasslers'. Well, the band was so good. So good that when they were done we chanted 'ONE MORE SONG' and they delivered. The drinks were good and decently priced. The crowd ranged from people of all ages. It looked like everyone just came to have a good time. We sure did. We danced while the band jammed out! I hope the next time that I am in town, the same band will be performing. They rocked the house.

LOL

I've been coming here on and off for a long time and I still love the place. Parking is a pain, as is anywhere in Fells, but it's worth it if you like dive-type bars.

NO FOOD... Don't get me wrong, I love a drink.. IF THEY CAN MAKE IT.. but it looks like a Baltimore thing.. 2 out of two bars can't , Koopers (pretty sure that's it,on thames st.) Doesn't allow vaping! DO NOT SUPPORT them.. There is no current authority over vaping. The worst long island iced tea. . Well, Just as bad as the place on 906 Wolfe st. All will get reviews. At least 1/4 sour and soda.. They're supposed to be a 'splash' Ok.. I'm all over the place here.. It should be cuz im DRUNK by now.. NOT!! I hope the burger at 906 is good.. they're getting a review too..

So much fun. This is a great bar in Baltimore. The music is fantastic and a mini dance floor. It is small, but cozy. If you are looking for low key and people watch, this is the place to be.

Came to this place bc of the great reviews. The bartenders were awful. One was so high he couldn't remember a thing and the other was so rude to us several times. This was the worst restaurant experience!

Great beers on tap. $6 for a pint isn't cheap for Baltimore but I am glad they had some uncommon beers. My gf molested the entire live band that night. I probs got herpes now.

  • Jeff M.

  • JQ G.

Only had cocktails, will give another chance for food later, the goofy chic bartender was a buzz kill

Great bar. We went on a Tuesday, and the band was awesome. Tony is hella cool. Fun crowd there, too. I don't remember much more than that. I'll be back.

If your looking for a bar with character, this is the place. The rooms are broken up nicely, so it never feels too huge, and the patrons are diverse to say the least.

Good stuff.
