I stopped by on Sunday with most of my family, 9 of us. The food is really good but they had issues with their coffee pot. The young woman serving us (Brooke) was great but she explained that the coffee maker was broken so they only had one. On the bright side every cup was hot. My mother is handicap so that is a concern when we go out. There is nothing to worry about at Mothers. They have a great entrance ramp and a spread out dinning room, they made us feel very comfortable. No one at my table had anything bad to say about their meal. I love the (Rancho huevoes?) wrap and home fries. I will be going back again for breakfast.

OMG Why haven't I been here before now! First that me say THE BEST SERVICE in ANNE ARUNDEL County! I must say it was my Birthday and Me and my Friends were ready to Party! From the time We walked in I felt like I knew everybody that worked there! JOHNNY was are Server and he Rocked!! But other Servers also checked on us for Drinks or for anything! We never Had to Wait for anything!! Nicest People in the whole place! Very Helpful! Told us what was good and that everything Was Fresh and Homemade! That Meatloaf was out of this world! I never order Meatloaf out but Johnny said I Wouldn't be Disappointed and he was right! Made with KOBE BEEF! All the appetizers we ordered he suggested and they were spot on! Spinach dip Top Notch and Asian Rolls Just DELISH!!! We were there all Day and no one try to Rush is out!! We had party horns and Laughing loud and not one employee Complained that we were too loud! OMG the Dessert they gave me with like 8 candles in it! It was so creamy and good it was a fried banana Cheesecake with a caramel sauce! It was huge! I will enclose pic of it! Forget CheeseCake Factory! You go to Mothers Grille and you will have the time of your Life!! Also I want to Thank everybody that came to our table and wished me a Happy Birthday! Cause it was one I won't forget!!! I will for sure be back! Until then Keep up the good Service and excellent Food!!!

Never had bad service here. It's family friendly which I absolutely love. The food changes very so often which is nice as I love to try new things. The bar area is open to the restaurant so if you don't want to hear the noise, this is not the place for you. I however, don't mind this at all and actual like the open feeling. The staff has always been friendly and efficient. As a former waitress/bartender in college I know how hard it is to be in that business. The wings are very good but I recommend you order them "extra crispy" or they tend to be a bit under done. No place has ever made it in this awkward location and yet Mothers has.....must be doing something right!

Cool casual atmosphere got our group of 10 seated in ~20min. Parking lot was packed so expected longer queue. Average service, a huge menu, nice beer list. My bro in law said they are 'jack of all foods master of none'. They have big list of specialty burgers. I sure enjoyed the chinese chicken salad & my wife enjoyed the turkey burger with apples & gouda. We'd go back.

The food is awful. They have 20 flavors of wings yet both two me and my buddy had were awful. I ordered some "honey thai" wing that tasted more like a crappy syrup barely coated on a badly cooked wing. The buffalo chicken sandwich was hard and the buffalo sauce was a joke. Fries were awful. I'd say don't ever go here for food. If you want to pay $6 on a Friday evening to stand at a bar in Arnold with loud music blasting then go for it.

Coming in on a Friday night, I can always assume one thing about a sports bar, that it was going to be crowded, and it was! The conference tournaments were going and since this is a UMd bar, it would be especially crowded for a UMd game and what was going on the time I went, a UMd game. So it was just up up to me an my gf to get creative and elbow our way to the bar for a beer to pass the 30 minute wait. The menu was extensive, not necessarily a mile long, but definitely not a minple menu either, in fact, in fact in addition to the regular menu, there was a burger menu, a buffalo wings menu AND a long beer list. My girlfriend is a regular customer, but this would be my first time and she suggested that I go with the Wharf Rat club and I have no regrets about that. This was a crab salad mixed with HUGE pieces of shrimp and topped with bacon between two slices, and oh my word, it was HEAVEN!! I seriously wanted to consider another one, but kept my cool. My girlfriend had the garlic buffalo wings, and found that she couldn't handle the heat. I helped her out and I am a little more tolerant of heat coming from the wing, it was the garlic that seemed to take over and you actually say pieces of the clove on the wing, it seemed liked they made sure there was at least a clove of garlic on every wing. The waitress was attentive and not annoying and did not seem rushed despite the activity in the bar area. In fact, once you entered the restaurant area, it didn't appear to be as big of a circus as the bar. So if you find yourself in Arnold, this definitely some good eats and drinks.

First the good: The restaurant is very open and nicely furnished, at least on the bar side. Flat screens ring the bar without making it feel like a sports bar and the floor plan doesn't leave you feeling claustrophobic. The beers on tap were diverse and well priced, especially for happy hour (which runs til 6:30pm) and it seemed like a decent amount of specials were offered throughout the week. The not so good: I'll preface this by saying I only tried their Happy Hour Appetizer selection and I feels its unfair to judge a restaurant by such a limited sampling. That said, the dishes left a lot to be desired. 5 Boneless wings for $5 seemed like a bit of a rip off and they were essentially Tyson's Anytizers and even disturbingly watery in the center. The mussels, also $5, were cold the first time we got them and included about 6. The calamari was also nearly cold and very much pre-made and purchased in bulk. The nachos weren't bad but the serving size was seriously lacking compared to other happy hours in the area. I would like to go back for their wide selection of burgers which were all $6.99 on special for one night of the week, but alas if I go back for happy hour it will be for drinks only. Better happy hours are to be had around Annapolis.

Great atmosphere at mother's. Everything on the menu is great but I particularly enjoy the bar area. If your lucky enough to come at the right time, you will enjoy the company of Nicole. She always makes sure our glasses are full and shots are filled to the brim. Great convo too, most of all attentive. I recommend the wings, a good draft and the brownie with ice cream (two scoops).

  • Sabina B.

Only had drinks. It's super loud in there and super dim. It'd be nice if the dance floor area was dim while the other side was a little brighter and less loud. There are some of us that want to socialize.

I walked into the restaurant and noticed that the position of the bars and tables seemed a little off. If the owner paid a decorator to get maximum use of their space, he/she should ask for a full refund. Moving along I found an empty chair at the busy bar and was greeted by a female bartender named Anna. I immediately asked for a national bohemian (draft) and a shot of Canadian club. Unfortunately Ms. Anna told me that they didn't have National Bohemian on draft but in a can (This is supposed to be a Maryland bar?!) and they don't have CC but Segrams. My initial instinct was to go down the road to Bateman's but the bartender apologized. So I ordered a Miller Lite (union made beer) and some old bay wings. The wings were served hot and tasted like normal old bay wings by the attentive bartender and I never had to chase her down for a new Miller even though the place was packed. Overall the service was great, the wings were good, but not having National Bohemian on draft should disqualify Mothers from calling themselves a Maryland restaurant.

This place is awesome! I passed by Mother's a couple months ago & got a weird vibe; possibly because it was a cold rainy day & it wasn't open. But after a long flight I was hungry & decided to check this place out. Upon arrival, the place was all lit up & filled with many people. Mother's is definitely a bar with good energy. With like 30+ Tv's, friendly bartenders, & waiters; this place is actually a cool find! The one down side I would have to say is the bathroom. There is only one stall in the bar area. It's a bar; alcohol + people = a need for more than one restroom. The food was great. I was in a hamburger mood & out of the 20 burger combinations I found 2 that caught my eye. But then off the regular menu I saw The Heart Attack burger. Oh my! I was stuck on getting that & I don't regret it one bit! The Heart Attack burger with an Angryball is a perfect combination. Looks can be deceiving so before you turn away from Mother's check it out because the food is wonderful, environment is cool, & the employees are upbeat & super friendly.

I really like this place, so why a 3 star rating? As the Yelp rating system goes, it's A-OK, that's not a bad thing. It's good AND convenient. If it were 20 or more minutes away, it would not make my short list is places to go. A great place for burger and beer. Burgers are very good. Nice selection, tasty, properly cooked. Beer selection is huge. The wings, for the money, are OK. I'll order some if I'm there. If I want take home wings, there are better options in the area. Can be a little loud but that's because they are almost always busy. Wait staff has always been fast and friendly. This certainly is a nice step up from the prior restaurants.

Pretty good! I had the shrimp wraps. I would have liked more shrimp salad and less lettuce in it though. Service was pretty good. Nice outdoor seating too. Not too pricey either!!!!!

Always have been wanting to try the food since it switched from Griffins. Finally stopped in today. Amazing. Clean. Very very friendly staff (Ashley was great). And the burgers were so delicious. We signed up for the 20/20 club as an excuse to keep coming back and even ordered wings to take home for dinner. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful food!!!! Boardwalk fries and sweet potato waffle fries. Yumm! Fire on the mountain is a great sandwich, good eatin salad and berry salad were delicious!!! Check in for a free scoop of pop pops icecream! We tried Mojito and sugar babies!

Decided to give this place a try but I don't think I'll come back. Drinks were bad food was good Ordered a drink off of their specialty menu. It was horrible. I'm not sure, but either the pineapple juice or OJ had gone bad. My boyfriends drink was disappointing too. Both of us ordered hamburgers they were good but mine was undercooked even though we ordered ours cooked the same way. I did not get a chance to use the outdoor bar but I'm sure it's a + in the warmer weather.

First off, very rarely do I walk into a new bar/restaurant and feel at home. Every bartender and even some servers came up and talked to us and asked us how we were doing. They all smiled and acted like we were locals, and they wanted our business again and again. The bartenders were knowledgable about the drinks and the food as well. They have a huge list of burgers but our favorite was the steak tips as an appetizer. In addition, they have a great outdoor patio and happy hour and live music specials. Definitely will go back, couldn't say anything negative! We love Mothers!

I would give 3.5 stars if we could do half stars! I have to start with the ice cream - it is amazing! I've been twice now for Tuesday night Bar Trivia. I've only had the Garlic Buffalo Wings, BBQ burger and fries and the Beer Battered Chicken Tenders also w/fries. I liked the fries and loved the burger! And the Garlic wings were pretty tasty. The beer battered chicken on the other hand - not so tasty. the batter didn't seem to adhere to the chicken in any way. It was almost like the chicken was cooked separately and then put into a shell. And I wasn't a fan of the shell. I pulled the chicken out, sprinkled it with old bay (which was just hanging out on the table - something I'm still getting used to!) and dipped it in the dressing! OH and their ranch dressing is thick and creamy and very tasty! I'm looking forward to enjoying some other dished in the coming weeks! Only thing stopping me from giving it more stars - two weeks in a row one of the guys bussing tables was eating while working and I just think it's gross to have someone standing over me chewing food, or clearing out plates and I can see their food... Yuck!!

Great place! Good food and the cocktails were delicious. I had a chicken wrap - Fire on the Roof?? something like that - with sweet potato fries and an orange crush (or two). Delicious! and our server Anna was great, too :)

I've been to this restaurant 2 other times prior to this recent visit and I wasn't very impressed (both times for brunch). But because of a bogo coupon in the local paper, I decided to try their dinner menu. I was VERY impressed with the food, service and ambiance. For $21.99 I got their filet and it was great for that price. The fries were excellent too. I tried one of my husband's ribs and I decided that this is my "go to" place for ribs now. I'm glad we decided to give this place another try because we have a dog and the outdoor dining area is dog friendly:-p

Always a great go-to. Has definitely improved since opening! A couple of things: don't forget you can get any sandwich or burger in a wrap...sometimes it's better...and ask for a side of their chipotle cheese sauce to dip fries and put on burgers (or anything:) We go with our kids all the time - but also go out for drinks with friends w/out kids there too! The bus picks us up in our neighborhood & brings you home when you need - it's a wonderful option!

I'm done. Just done with Mother's. I kept hoping they'd improve and finally understand something about customer service, but it seems to be beyond them. My experience there last week and then again this week have been bad enough to make me say that I will NEVER enter another Mother's establishment again. Not even trivia can pull me back in. They have no consistency with their policies. Go in ten times, and you'll have ten different sets of rules. The manager has made it abundantly clear that they have enough regulars now that they can afford to lose a few. And they are ALWAYS looking for employees, which is not a good sign for a place that hasn't even been open a year. I know that turnover is expected in the restaurant industry, but not this much.

Got the boneless wings and they were pretty solid. Live music had some legit talent. My wife said the steamed shrimp was just ok. I thought the service was good.

This place is great. The patio is fun and our food was great (the wraps and salads are awesome but if you are into burgers and wings I'm pretty sure this would be your jam). Our waitress was attentive and had good suggestions. All in all, #ftw.

Great place! Driving from airport to Ocean city and stopped here for lunch. Delicious, fresh salads, great grilled chicken and so much more! Also if you check in you get a free ice cream. Definitely would come back if I was in the area :-)

Went here for a light lunch today and it was the perfect day to sit outside! My friend and I ordered a couple of appetizers to split and we were not disappointed. We split the calamari (comes with a tasty dip) and the caprese flatbread. The pesto on the flatbread was great! Wish it had a little more cheese on it but overall I enjoyed this dish. Plenty of choices on the menu to choose from. I will be returning!

Wings were very good, Top od the Mountain chicken sandwich rocked but the chicken fingers with the home made honey mustard sauce were THE best! Definitely a little pricey for the area I think but the food was very good and all the servers and hostess were very attentive, pleasant and helpful

Ok just left with family of 5. To start one of the most friendly greetings from hostess then dinner was fantastic. Wife had Fire on the Mountain- she said it was exactly how she would of made it(perfection). The onion rings were the best in awhile. I had the fish tacos tilapia filled and not overcooked. Ee finished with home made ice cream-delicious. Oh did I mention the Loose Cannon drafts were served in ice cold glasses! Loved this place. And if you find any fault just ask for Steve and he will correct it. We loved the attention to detail

I've come here for dinner with my family several times. They have an entire menu devoted to the burger styles. The thing I like the most about this place is the service. With young kids, we like to get their food ordered early so they don't have to wait so long. The servers we've had have all been fantastic about getting the kids order placed, and then coming back once my wife and I decided what we want.

Of course I shed a little tear for Griffins closing but when I found out Mother's would be taking over I was very excited (really liked their fed hill location) They did a much needed renovation and the place looks a lot better. Lots of TVs, lots of space and also lots of noise! It can get really loud in here. My fiance signed up for their "20/ 20" club the first time we went. Basically he has to drink 20 beers and eat 20 different types of wings/burgers and he gets a discount and a t-shirt or his name written somewhere, who knows. He has seemed very happy with all the food he has ordered. They dont have a lot to offer in the healthy eating department though, but hey its a bar. Their beer selection is great, although it would be nice if they offered more drink specials. All in all, its a great place to have a couple beers and watch some football.

Well three times a charm. We went back for our third time and has the same great service and food we always have had here. I got here a hour early because my appointment went quicker them I had thought and the friendly staff let me come in yearly before they opened do I did not have to stand outside and wait for the test of my party. This time we brought my sister in law and she works in the hospitality field and she to was impressed the good food and service here. This has now become my go to spot when I am in the area. Thanks again for the great service and awesome service.

Been here 2x Here the thing 2 totally different experiences 1- Was great food, great service, great atmosphere, great drinks. I had a turkey club it was tasty... my boo had the steamed shrimp. He said they were pretty good. 2- Horrible.. lots of young 20-22 kids taking over the place.. very loud and out of control. Both of out food was horrible, the service was forgetful and sassy mouthed, the water was nasty/ I feel bad because I reccomended this place based off of my first visit. And folks went and had a bad time. the bathroom was ... no words for bad the bathroom was. (( shrugs)) 3 stars because I was going to give it a 4 the first time I went... but I also feel the second may just have been that BAD for a reason. bbboooo I love the Mother's in Fed Hill, I so wanted to like this one.

Didn't want a challenge, just wings and a draft. Wings were ok, draft beer was $9.00!!!!! I looked around to reconfirm that I wasn't at the Inn at Little Washington. Draft Beer for $9.00?? That's more than gouging, that's just insulting. Won't go back, I hope they enjoyed the short term profit over the long term customer loyalty.

I've been to mothers so many times and I always leave satisfied no matter what I order. I absolutely love their wings and brunch! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There are also plenty of big TVs for my husband to keep up with the current sports games going on. I highly recommend this place!

This is my "GO TO" place. I love it. Bring the family, meet for happy hour or just you and your spouse/date, its always a great place. I think the food is great. I see a few reviewers said it wasn't but I don't agree. They have a wide range of choices, reasonable prices, happy hours and specials. They have over 20 burger choices and over 20 wings choices.Portions are huge. You wont leave hungry. They have many yummy appetizers, sandwiches, entree's. Sunday's they have a brunch Have not gone to that yet. They have tv's side by side. Great place to watch football. They support our community by offering fundraisers. They have the Mothers bus so you can party and not worry about drinking and driving. Now that's a full service establishment. Thanks Mothers for joining us in Arnold.

Personally I love this place, large portions and great appetizers. The prices were reasonable but the overall atmosphere very noisy. The salad was tender, salads crisp, and I loved how I could watch any game currently on, or even the news. Great kids menu, and the nachos very perfect. The Caesar salad is one big size! I always bring some home. I've been to Mothers' several times and never had a problem with the service even when it's very busy. I would definitely go here with some friends!

Food: The crab dip is out of this world. It's creamy and tasty. I love the addition of the cilantro. The salads are large, fresh and delish. The chicken sandwich was moist and cooked to perfection. Drinks: Fine. Can't go wrong with the beer. Dessert: I would go there simply to get their molten lava cake!!!! Service: I read the other posts, but I've been in this Mother's five times and each time, I had a pleasant experience with the servers. Thumbs down: They upsell everything!!! It became a joke. Can I get a beer - Sure... for only $$ more, you can get a tall. Can I get a crabdip? - Sure, for only $$ more, you can get dipping chips. Can I get.... you get the point. We spend $12 in upsell items on our first visit and got smart the second - fifth. The atmosphere if fun, clean and sporty.

This was my third visit and it was really a mixed bag this time. we had the boneless garlic buffalo wings and the mango jerk wings, both superior and a hit with everyone. we also got the crab dip and was disappointed, too cheesy and little crab meat. Margi, my wife, got the grilled cheese and was really disappointed. too much bread and it didnt seem like there was hardly one slice of cheese rather than the three listed on the menu ( i know i had a bite of it). my son in law had steamed shrimp which he enjoyed; my daughter the buffalo sandwich and fries which she thoroughly enjoyed. last but not least i got the cordon bleu burger with sweet potato fries. i ordered the burger medium rare and it came medium well, very little ham and the swiss wasn't melted onto the burger. also no honey mustard. i had on my first visit (wasnt on yelp then) had the stogie burger and was very impressed. our server Reagan's service, as has always been in each Mothers, each visit, was prompt, friendly, and impeccable!!! when there was a discrepancy on the check regarding the free beer for joining the text club she immediately had it resolved.

Meh! Mediocre food with lackluster service. I had the the crab dip which was served on on a hard French roll , too hard, but the dip was decent. The cheese on top was melted but hardish, is that a word? -not served hot enough. Also had the mussels. I love mussels but, the broth barely had flavor and a few of my mussels were closed. The bread sticks that came with it were soft and good for dipping. Too bad I really didn't have anything good to dip onto. I hear the bar is good but, the restaurant is average.

I've only eaten here once but the food was awesome. I have to take away a star because the prices are high. I had the shrimp po boy and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. Lightly fried juicy shrimp on a soft delicious roll. The fries are board walk style and delicious. 2 beers and a po boy were $27. The price stinks, but the sandwich was good enough to make me a regular.

Mother's has done a really nice job with this site. The burgers and wings are very good. If I try something else, I'll be sure to update my review. The restaurant is clean, which is important in my book. It's mostly a bar as the 2 bars take up 2/3rds of the indoor space. I dont see that as a positive or negative, simply an observation. **update** We went back for breakfast a couple of times with friends and children. We started going there because it wasn't crowded for a mid morning breakfast, but we were surprised. The breakfast choices are nice and cooked wonderfully. It's a very underrated breakfast place. Definitely try the home fries. They're light and crispy. The burgers and wings are really good, but breakfast is well done at this place and it's only a matter of time before people figure it out.

This is a good place to watch a game but eat before you go. My wife had the French Dip that was so salty it was inedible. I had Adams Spicy Clam Chowder that was very bland & very thin for a "Chowder". We visited on a Tuesday night which wasnt that busy & service was very very slow. They are located 10 minutes from our house & we went there hoping to have a new "GO TO" restaurant but came away from the experience never wanting to return.

  • Dale W.

Service was fine but the food was meh or less. The teriyaki wings were drowning in sauce and tasted like they had not changed the fryer grease since they opened. The mango jerk wings were dry and barely seasoned. I think they rely on wet sauces from a jar and don't know how to use a dry rub. The free fries that came with the Yelp checkin were cold and limp like a noodle. The orange crush was good but the pain crusher barely had alcohol. There were also flies inside so they could use some fly strips. Nothing more annoying than swatting flies while you eat. We def wont be back. Most reviews talk about service but ours was good and the best part of the meal.

Bad first experience re food and service. Would not recommend this place for kids because the wait is way too long and you may not even get the right order. Overall, food was OK but stingy: 25-cents extra for tomato on a sandwich? Chips instead of fries even though a burger is $11? Went on a Sunday afternoon during a Ravens game. It was busy but not packed. Service was painfully slow. We were a couple of adults plus a toddler. Asked for the toddler's meal to come first. Ordered the most expensive kids menu item (fish and fries for $8.50) and the waitress asked what kind of fish we wanted. Asked for a list and she gave a long list. Selected salmon and asked the fries not be salted since it was for a 2-year-old. About 25 minutes later someone else tossed a plate of tilapia and heavily salted fries on the table and disappeared without checking with us if that was correct; it was too loud for the server to hear us calling to stop. Our waitress took her time checking in with us. She suggested the toddler try the tilapia and see if she liked it anyway, while she went to get unsalted fries. (Um, no, we know what our kid likes to eat.) Needless to say, toddler did not want to eat tilapia. Waitress finally checked in and said salmon was not available on the kid menu. HOW it took her so long to get this basic information to us, I cannot explain. She should have known the menu. Mild drama as the plate is removed from a hungry toddler. Ordered fried chicken sandwich instead. When it finally came, it consisted of a small slider-sized potato roll and one chicken finger and chips (no fries come with it). For $6.50? Stingy! Meanwhile, none of the parents' food had arrived. My only special request was for the pickle to be on a separate plate. I explained: pregnant, food aversions, needs a separate plate to avoid dripping pickle juice on the rest of my food, and my husband could eat the pickle. By the time our food finally came, which was about 50 minutes after we sat down, my husband's food was fine but there was a pickle in the middle of my plate. The waitress asked, "Is that ok?" By this time I was starving and dealing with an antsy toddler. "No, it's not ok. I feel like orders have been wrong and taking too long to arrive, only to send them back which takes even longer." Then, after another wait, someone brought out a plate with both the lettuce and pickle on it together, and disappeared without checking if it was OK. Meaning the lettuce was unusable because it had pickle juice all over it. I had to flag down someone else for help to ask for some plain lettuce without pickle juice on it. By that time, my food was cold and blah.

Food was average. The servers were attentive and did well accomodating our large group. Burgers looked good. I opted for a Caesar salad which clearly isn't their forte. Stick to the burgers and wings? We went with some locals who eat there a lot and were recognized - that's always nice.

I'm a fan of the Mother's chain, but at this location I tried the crabcake on muffin bread and was blown away. It's a direct pass-by on the way to annapolis, so stop in for some drink specials and good fun.

Awesome food, great service, fun atmosphere! Can't wait to come back. I had the wings to start, crispy, hot and huge! Went for the crab cake sandwich with sweet potato fries that was the best crab cake ever! We'll be back!!

Pretty good wings, good beer selection. Lots of flat screens. Music level was fine for the bar half, but way too loud in the restaurant part.

This place is horrible. I'm a local happy hour hero and this place is very convient to where I work and live. But every time I go I leave upset. It's either the selection or the time changes or the snooty old bar tenders. Music sucks. Smells like old guys who chif cigs. It was good at once. But it's been awhile

It's not fair to give this place 1 star.. so I won't. The server was great and it's very clean inside. Everything comes with an upsell... add what would make it good for XX more and the food isn't that great to begin with. Good beer selection but based on the upselling I didn't even want to see what a bar tab would look like here so I passed. Food is pretty forgettable, plenty of better places around here to eat and/or drink.

We were regulars and we won't be back after poor service from a manager last night. The burgers, onion rings and ice cream are great, but we won't be spending any of our money here anymore.

Good food.. but still waiting for this location to offer Bison Burger. :D

Buffalo garlic wings are amazing. Best I have ever had. Orange crushes are pretty good but, the grapefruit crush is just okay.

Wanted to give Mother's another look, so took my wife there yesterday before the dinner crowd. Would rather indulge in a big meal early in the day so the calories have something to do. We are always on the lookout for good burgers and know that Mother's has a nice burger menu. Went with the Benedict Arnold and the Blue Cheese burger. Both were excellent, although we both loved the richness of the blue cheese burger. The beef tasted like beef as it should, and the meat was cooked properly to order. This place is now on our go-to list, particularly for burgers. I'll have to try more things on the menu at some point, but I plan to get through the burger list first!

I have been to the location in Federal Hill and was not impressed with the food when I did go. So I was giving this location it's second chance for the restaurant name and food. We got there early so we waited for them to open. Not an issue. the menu was vast unlike what I remembered from the original location. They did keep the chips with sandwich and up-charge for the fries and anything else you would sub. I don't like this I can see a small fee but what they charge is a bit much. We got apps of mussels and the nachos both were OK nothing to write home about and I think the chips were a bit burnt from being in the broiler too long. I got the cheese steak sandwich as did both my mom and dad . It and was tasty but there was hardly any cheese on it and we got charged for adding mushrooms I think I saw one and my dad said he did not get any. I also got the upgrade of onion rings for 2.00 more only to be given 4 rings and not large ones. These onion rings were small and barley covered the plate! You think for the frozen ones they could give you more than 4 that's .50 each! Then because my son did not want anything on there kids menu that they had to recite because there was no menu. He did not get ice cream and I had to pay for it. He ordered the quesadilla that was 11.00 and only wanted cheese not chicken or anything that they had listed was on it but they charged full fair and charged me for his ice-cream that did not have topping or even whipped cream and for the 5.00 you think they could spare some. They could have given my son a single scoop with the bill we had. Our bill was 125.00 there was 6 of us and we had about 3 beers at 7.00 a pop I believe granted they were the large ones. So with all this said I don't think I'll be going back. The renovation is nice and the restaurant has a nice open floor plan but for the prices they are charging I will not be going back. On top of this I don't think the waitress gave my husband his burger punch card he is to get for the list they have , he seems to think the place is fine, he will be going alone. There are much better places to go than the new Mother's of Arnold And I don't like to be nickled and dimed for every little thing this is a peeve of mine and I'll be steering clear.

I stop in now and again to watch the hockey games with a few friends. I have yet to have something i didnt like, i have tried several burgers, all amazing, even the ceasar salad with chicken, were not talking about a normal salad here, this thing is a monster that you will struggle to finish. it was great. their drinks are good, and the prices are fair. I hope they manage to stick around for a long time to come!

The renos they did to the building were great. The food is ok based on 5 visits, it really is bad to decent-good. The cons are the prices, 7 DOLLAR beers(they suggest to u to make it a large size), but it is still a 7 dollar draft beer. My buddy was shocked when his gin and tonic(I assume rail) was 10 bucks! The bars and open floor plan are cool, but since I am 37 and not 21, the loudness of the place(I guess due to the vaulted ceilings) and dirtiness plus long wait times from the staff leave a lot to be desired. This place it too loud to have a sit down dinner, and too expensive if you want to go out and get sauced. I do not notice any drink specials....the huge pluses it that they have a bus that will come pick u up and drop u off, and the tons of tvs(it is a great place to watch a sports game). They claimed plans in the works to build outdoor patio similar to fed hill. WINGS have been stron every visit, but check is always a disappointment(need better drink specials, I know the RENOS must have caused u but most people in the area can not blow money like this on a night/dinner out....

Went to Mothers for dinner. A burger, chicken sandwich, domestic light bottle, and a coke plus 17% tip came out to $35. They charged $5 for a Coors Lite draft on a weeknight. The service was good, so that's a plus, the atmosphere was decent. The food was underwhelming. Given the amount of choices for bar food within a couple of miles this place will have to either come way down in price or ramp up the quality of the food. 2 stars, mediocre

We sat outside on a Sunday evening and it was empty on the patio. Works for me! I had the softshell crab sandwich with sweet potato fries and both were quite good. The sweet potato fries came with a couple of dipping sauces as well. I also had Hell or High Watermelon beer...it was on tap! While briefly inside, it definitely looked/felt like a casual bar type of place. But I did enjoy sitting outside.

I live nearby and I've been here a handful of times. The service has always been great - friendly staff and quick to bring out your orders. The food has consistently been delicious. Burgers cooked how you asked, and the wings always nice and crispy (but not too crispy). If I want wings this is where I come.

Thank you to Steve and his great staff for making our coed baby shower a great success. Everyone loved the catering menu, bar drinks and they were very pleased with the attentive staff. Mothers for the mothers-to-be!

Had a nice lunch here Sunday afternoon. We sat on the deck at an off-time, so it was pretty quiet. It filled up as we left, but we enjoyed the peace and quiet. I hadn't been here since it was Griffins, so it was nice to be back! The menu is big, cocktails as well as food. We started with the Ahi bites for an appetizer which were pretty good! For drinks we got the grapefruit crushes - SO GOOD. For meals I ordered the roadhouse turkey burger, which was good. And my fiancé had a chicken dish. His wasn't that exciting to look at but he said he liked it. The veggies they brought me as my side were good! You could tell they were fresh. His sweet potato fries were pretty blah. The service, while sweet. He wasn't very attentive. Brought me the wrong drink, forgot a couple side items and just wasn't really on top of it. I was happy to have my drink and relax so it didn't bother me that much but still something to note. For a bar, it has good food and a good atmosphere!

While a little pricey, it is well worth the price. Also the wings and burgers are ABSOLUTELY phenomenal, words don't do them justice. Also I don't know what's better the eye candy or the food

Pass by here everyday going and coming back from work so I decided to try it out. First I'll talk about its atmosphere and sitting area. Atmosphere friendly but much too loud, Even in the dining area that was not part of the bar area. The sitting area's furniture is in need of replacement. The floor in this area and the bathroom floor was in need of a broom. Second I'll talk about the food. Vegetarians not much to choose from, however their veggi burger is said to be made by scratch and made on the premises. Although it was tasty , it did have a gummy consistency. Almost like chewing on dough. The onion rings were crunchy on the outside and delicious on the inside. The ice cream also said to be home made, was exceptional. If I am to return I will order onion rings and ice cream.

Do you mind visiting a sports bar where they don't know the NCAA tournament is going on and have re-runs playing on the TVs? Do you mind beer "specials" that cost $5 or more? Mediocre food? Loud club/pop music and the lights turned down on a Thursday night? If you answered no, come on down to Mother's Peninsula Grille! My review was from one visit in March 2014. I haven't been back since.

Great hospitality and service. Nicole and Matt were very helpful and patient when helping me find vegan menu options. We never went without-- very attentive! Upbeat, amazing attitudes, especially considering a large party including kids and a messy baby. I would have pulled my hair out if I had to wait on me and my family! Food was timely, delicious, hot, and spot on, omitting what I didn't want, and including what I wanted. Great family atmosphere on an early Saturday evening.

I have always enjoyed Mother's Peninsula Grille. They have a great menu and I haven't been disappointed by the food or staff yet. The dining room atmosphere is a bit noisy but you can still hold a conversation. I recently requested a small catering order to be delivered for a graduation party I was having at my home. I was told only the Baltimore location provides delivery. The manager was great and worked with me. He was able to find a staff member who could deliver my order on the date and time requested. The gentleman who made the delivery was very nice and very professional with the delivery and set up. I'm not sure if I should post that I had awesome delivery service since delivery from the Arnold location is not part of their standard service but I was so pleased with the manager's willingness to help me that I thought they deserved kudos for their customer service!

Flies...inside? Yes, in the dining room flying around your dinner. Skip it - along with the food being bland and waitress ignoring us, I would not go back.

Who knew that Mother's had a Grille in Arnold..I didn't but that was a nice nightcap to my evening. I opted for the Wharf Rat Club. It's overstuffed with jumbo crab meat, shrimp salad, bacon, lettuce, & tomato. It was good. As a side I choose the onion rings and they were good. Our server Hillary was the nicest young lady possible. She was serving seven lacrosse guys (trouble at any pub) and did it all with a smile. Def coming back here when I'm in Arnold and will take some food porn pictures next round....I promise.

Steve P.- what a studly and efficient bartender. I had a wonderful meal, the special flatbread of the week (gyro flatbread) and some great craft beer. Steve made my dining and drinking experience second to none.
