Delicious food and cool people. Throwback feeling and easy to get to except wishing the parking lot was set up a bit wider.

A very nice local restaurant with very good food. One of the few black owned establishments in the immediate area of Accokeek. Has Masonic roots which is another reason I try to support this restaurant. Staffed with younger folks who are always professional, which is refreshing! I highly recommend this place when you want food that has the taste of a good home cooked seafood meal without you having to wash the dishes.

I've been here twice & loved everything I've tasted. I've had the catfish fritters, candied yams, green beans, tilapia, fried shrimp & cabbage. The candied yams were OK. Nothing special about those but everything else is soooooo good!! Each visit, I ordered my food to go & got my food in a reasonable time.

Accokeek Seafood is our go to spot for carry out. It's soul food with an emphasis on seafood - old school style. It is not a healthy option - its a place you go for fried seafood deliciousness. I've never eaten in there and don't intend to. They give you enough for two meals so why not just take it home. I hold off on the 5 stars because the sides are inconsistent. Mac and cheese is homemade one week and jazzed up store-bought the next. Same thing with the greens. The seafood is always good, as are the wings. They also cater and do bbq seasonally. Great local spot. Go. Order carry out...and lots of napkins. You won't be dissapointed.

Food is still great but they went up on pricing... Not a happy camper. My shrimp dinner at one point cost $14 and now it's $17 and that's not including a drink.

The small restaurant was clean although very outdated and in disrepair. There was one young lady who operated the cash register (handling carry out orders) who also waited on customers in the dining room. She was not happy when we asked for a bottled drink after the sweet tea she brought us in a cup had long strands of hair on it from her untamed hair wig/weave. The food was prepared and served in record time. It's presentation was impressive. (Hence, why I gave a 2 star rating). Most foods are fried and apparently uses the same (almost too salty) flour for coating. My fried chicken wings (although good) tasted just like my fried tilapia. The collard greens had a strange sweetness to them and the obviously canned sweet corn had been warmed so many times, it had changed colors. Although I quickly concluded that this may be the local spot for carry out fried fish or wings that taste like fish; things quickly went South! My daughter ordered a delicious looking combination platter which consisted of Scallops, Shrimp, cabbage and Mac & Cheese. I found the shrimp to be small but rather tasty. I also enjoyed the cabbage more than my collard greens. As my daughter begin to prepare a smaller plate for my granddaughter, she yells, "Mommy, there's a bug!" Sure enough, there was a dead ant on the cabbage! It wasn't a very pleasant experience for our first and last time. But other locals seem to enjoy it.

Where do I start..... The bathroom is dirty. The food taste like store bought potato salad canned yams, string beans, frozen old pungent shrimp, Unseasoned pork chops and ribs. Kraft Macaroni and cheese. They use dirty oil to fry the softshell crab. They were black and greesy. THE WORST PLACE I have ever been to........... disgusting.......

Disappointed because I heard the food was excellent but we couldn't eat there due to some really unsanitary conditions. Tea was served in a dirty mug, dead bugs laying on the floor and ants were swarming around something so the floors probably hadn't been cleaned in a long time.

Amazing!!! I just went for the first time and randomly and bought the crab cake (2) dinner with Mac and cheese, hush puppies and yams. I'm a seafood and food snob in general but this place is amazing! The price is reasonable as well. Bigger plus is that it is five minutes from my house! Yippie! :)

Very good seafood place for all things fried! Scallops, jumbo shrimps, any fish filets, etc... We loved their side dishes as well, we always order corn bread, cooked cabbage, buttered corn, and kale, and yams. Yummmm!

Rude and smelly. They chased away our business. My wife and I walked in here and it WREAKED of stinky fish, but whatever, it's a seafood place. Next thing I notice is 4 employees glaring at us for disturbing the daytime tv show they all seemed heavily engrossed in, at which point one woman warned us, "We don't have any crabs." And I said, "that's fine, you have booze though don't you?" And she said "yeah, but only these couple" and pointed to bottles of bud and bud light (NOT beer in my opinion). Then she said, "And you have ID's... RIGHT?" Jeez lady if you want us to leave so you can get back to your daytime soap operas I can take a hint! NEVER coming back here which is a shame because it's one of very few places to eat within walking distance.

My mother kept telling me to try this spot out and so we did. I got the crab cake and fried oysters with cabbage and rice/gravy. My mother got fried trout and scallops with collard greens and potato salad. The sides were good. I could of used more gravy on my rice instead of a spoonful. I enjoyed the crab cake but the other fried food was a little to salty. I saw a lot of older people in their including my mother and I thought wow they serving all this salty food. Overall the service was good. The waitress was doing tables and ringing up carryout so it took awhile to get the check and then awhile for her to come back with the credit card. I'm on the fence about returning. Not bad but could be better.

We were looking for a particular menu item that this place serves up and wife reports that it was quite good. She also had collard greens and macaroni and cheese that she said was "to die for." Nice, thick and cheesy. I had the soft shell crabs. Dinner portion was two crabs fried in a nice light batter (seasoned) on a hamburger roll (one). I also had the collard greens and cole slaw. Collard greens were nicely seasoned and the cole slaw was crisp and fresh. Menu is a good variety of Southern home cooking. We come to Waldorf once a year to see my tax preparer and we definitely will return here when we are in the area.

Love this place! Everyone is friendly and the the food hits the spot! Try the frog legs... I had them for the 1st time as a dare from the owner! He awaited my response as i took a bite...wait for it...wait for it....WOW very good! Im going to try something new every time I go until I taste the whole menu :-)

My husband and I went there for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. The place was empty except for one man. After looking at the menu, we paid for or drinks and left. It's kind of a dingy hole in the wall that has enough grease in the air that the table and menus were kind of sticky. The food may be good but we weren't in the mood for deep fried everything. Not a single salad on the menu nor a grilled option on the chicken or fish. We won't give it a second chance.

Accokeek seafood is a very nice place to go to and carryout....I would've actually given it a 4 star rating but the dine in experience wasn't that great. The food is very delicious and it leaves you craving for more on the menu.

The food is spectacular. Ive had just about everything on the menu (minus the chitterlings and catfish). I always here great compliments about the catfish though, Im just not a fan of catfish in general. The crab cakes are delicious, not too much bread crumbs and more than enough crab meat. Im a big fan of the shrimp and whiting filets. As far as sides, you cant go wrong with any of them. My personal favs are the yams and mac & cheese, and the collard greens and baked beans. I will make the drive from Silver Spring down to 210 any day of the week! The atmosphere is very homely and spacious. A true mom and pop shop type of spot with great food!.

This was a happy find. We were at the nearby National Colonial Farm and Piscataway Park and just happened upon this restaurant. My wife ordered the BBQ ribs and she let me have one and it was very good. I had a seafood combo of scallops, shrimp and a Crab cake. The seasoning was very good. The sweet yams were also excellent as were the collard greens. The price was very affordable and the service very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area who is looking for good food at a good price.

A coworker had her party catered by them when she turned 40, and we were saying how good the food was. Last night my boyfriends job had them cater the Xmas party. The service was great the food was good, we we will be returning. The mac and cheese is as good as mine, I also love the green beans with white potatoes, and the fish, and fried shrimp are excellent! I haven't tried any of the desserts yet, but I'm sure they are good also.
