This is a great chick-fil-a location. Food was great, place was clean, parking lot was well-organized. The icing on the cake, though, was that in the pouring rain, they had a guy outside the door escorting people in with a giant umbrella!!!

Don't normally write reviews for "fast food" restaurants, but felt it necessary to put in a good word for this Chick-fil-A. Each and every time I dine there the service and food are great. You are only in line for a few seconds before someone asks to take your order and once taken, they tell you to go to your seat and bring the food out to you. They also come over during the meal and ask if you need anything else (drink, napkin, etc) As a parent with a 2 year old child, I can't stress enough how valuable a service that is. All said, the management and employees are to be commended for their outstanding service and food.

Great food, exceptional service. I always crave it on Sunday, but that is when they are closed. My only complaint is that sometimes when I order cheese on my chicken sandwich they don't put pickles on it. I always eat the pickles first, but I feel the pickle juice adds an important flavor to the sandwich.

It's almost a personal principle - I never give five stars to a fast food joint. But this place came close to making me break that. To give a consolation prize, they can have **4.5** stars! Fast service, lots of folks at the registers to minimize the wait, and the ability to grab as many condiments as I need (I'm a huge ketchup freak - I'll eat 12-15 packets with my Whopper meal) made this place high up on my list of places to eat while I'm on duty. If I had one complaint, it's that I didn't get a ACC-SEC Bowl Game card with money on it. But that's not their fault so I'll keep them at 4.5 stars.

Though a little confusing to get to the first time, this place is like a high end fast food place. The service is fast, the place is clean, the food is great.

Travel is an unfortunate part of my employment and it has me consuming a fair amount of fast food. With that being said, the Chick-fil-A in Abingdon is hands down my favorite fast food establishment in Maryland. Their service is impeccable and I eat there a minimum of three times per week with never having an error in my order. If you have never tried this franchise, make your way there soon. It is very refreshing to visit this Chick-fil-A after visiting another fast food restaurant (of any type). Chick-fil-A shows you how poorly franchises like Burger King and McDonalds are operated.

Chick-Fil-A, the best fast food place I've been to yet. Indoor playroom, great and consistently friendly staff. Ask them about the differetns sauces they have!! ChickFilA sauce is my favorite!!!

The best Chick-fil-A I've ever been to!! The staff is super friendly at any time of the day and I never have to wait very long for my food. In fact, my meal has been known to be ready even before I get my drink!!

They catered a party at work and all the sandwiches were very good. The lemonade is the bomb!

The gold standard for fast-food restaurants. It's well staffed, clean and the service matches many five-star restaurants I've been to, like Ruth's Chris....no joke. You can tell the people who work there enjoy their jobs, probably because Chick-fil-A treats and pays them well (for a fast-food place). The result? A place jam-packed with happy customers while the neighboring KFC/Taco Bell and McDonald's sat half-empty....or worse. The food is fresh and hot. Don't want pickles on your sandwich? No problem. They've never messed it up. When you thank them for their great service, they always follow up with their trademark "my pleasure." That may be a mandated line, but most of the employees make it believable.

I love Chick-fil-A. This location is my go to on my trips to MD or DC while I'm on the 95. Quick amazing service, happy employees and great food. It is also a very clean for a fast food restaurant. I will always stop by during my road trips!

Pretty typical Chick Fil A. Nothing about it stands out. The location is convenient. The staff has always been friendly and quick. they have never gotten an order wrong. And also the other day they had the Oriole's and Iron Bird mascots there and free face painting for the kiddos, so that was neat!

I love Chick-fil-A, but tonight's experience here was horrible. I had to wait 15 minutes to place my order...so much for fast food. Worse, there were a lot of employees visible, but no one waiting on customers. There was one single cashier with 15 people standing in line. The shift manager was standing out in the open counting cash, and I realize that she was setting up another cash drawer, but customers who are stuck in line shouldn't see you standing counting cash. Why management allowed the front line to drop to a single cashier doesn't make any sense, especially with how busy this location can be. The customer line system at this location just adds to the confusion. There are two entrances to this location but no definitive place for the line to start like you would find at McDonald's, Burger King, or Wendy's (one entrance, a set path to follow to the next available cashier). No this location has 3 divided off entrances with no way to organize 1st come 1st serve. Customers just end up in a total clustered mess. Look at the picture. Management at this location needs to look at how both the Aberdeen and White Marsh locations handle their lines.

We often stop at this Chick-fil-A on jaunts between the DC area and Philadelphia. It's not to far from the freeway, and the food is better than any rest stop. Plus the bathrooms are immaculate, and the service is as always fantastic. One thing that impresses me is that they are almost always super busy, but service and quality do not seem to suffer. You may not agree with their politics, but can't beat their chicken.

Even though it was crowded, this place gave out the fastest service. Good work, guys!

Still awesome as can be! Awesome as always! There is really nothing negative that I can say about this place. Its our family's favorite. They send coupons for free sandwiches, and I am happy to use them! My 3 yr old loves the play place, of course.

I don't think I've been to a bad Chick-fil-A or ever had bad service at one of their locations. So this is no exception. My family and I have been here numerous times (it is one of the closest locations to us). It was closed for a little while at the end of last year for renovations and we came for the first time since they re-opened on Saturday. The most noticeable thing they did is added a drive-thru lane so now there are two, which is great because this location is always so busy. This second lane is a great addition for those on the go and will hopefully reduce the wait time for the drive thru. The other noticeable thing is inside in the play area and if you don't have little ones, then you might not even notice it at all. However, there used to be a little tree thing that was there. I don't really know how to describe it because it was a weird little thing with a step or two up inside a play tree and that's all it really was. Anyway, this is gone. So those were the only things that I noticed. My husband thought the lighting was different, but I couldn't remember what the old ones looked like. Service was great as usual and so was the food. My kids love the children's meals and books inside. Employees come around often and ask if you need napkins, straws, sauce, refills, etc and they are happy to get it for you. I love that and it really makes a difference when choosing which fast food place to grab a bite to eat. Unless it's Sunday :)

My family loves Chick-fil-A. We eat there all the time and love it. Chick-fil-A is A-OK, no complaints.

I was told these are amazing. It was not bad for fast food but fell short of amazing. The chicken was good but still slightly processed tasting. We had grilled so maybe other ways are better. Their frozen lemonade was excellent. The fries were also good b

The service at this Chickfla is some of the best I have ever experienced. The new drive thru remodel has really improved the experience and I have never had an issue with my food.

Chick Fil-a NEVER disappoints! Their customer service is impeccable and although the drive through line is always long they've renovated and now have two ordering stations at the drive thru instead of one. It's very quick even when the lines are long. They always get my order right and always give me the amount of sauce I want. No skimping! There's nothing negative I can say about this place! The fact that I can tell the chicken I eat there is real unlike as other places is what keeps me coming back! Kudos to chick fil a!

Chick-fil-a restaurants are seriously the best fast food joint I know. Service is friendly and impeccable. Real damn shame nothing else comes even close to it. Definitely worth the premium price versus McDonald next door. Chick-fil-a sandwiches on the other hand seemed a bit salty than I remember from other places, but a little bit of mayo/mustard fixes that right up. Avoid this place during lunch. Hopping mad crazy!!!

This place was very crowded when we came in, though we apparently beat the rush. I'm shocked my husband was able to get the food so quickly. Two gripes, though: one is the same one I always have with the CEO's attitude on gay people but the other is their miniscule ladies room. There is only 1 sink in there & I had to put in contacts while we were stopped here on our long journey back to NYC. This had to be one of the smallest bathrooms I've been in outside of any in NYC. It was definitely the smallest one I've been in at any Chick-Fil-A in a freestanding location. This place is also in the midst of shopping chaos so you will probably have a time trying to get in and get out. The drive-thru also had a crazy long line when we left so more organization could be used in handling that traffic.

We made a road trip pit stop to this Chick-fil-A. The drive-through moved quickly, which was good because we just wanted to get back on the road. The fries tasted a little "old" and weren't salted enough for my tastes, but the sandwich was on point with other Chick-fil-A's. If I'm on the road in this area, I'd probably stop in again.

What isn't great about this place? NOTHING! We go often and have never had a bad experience. They are friendly, attentive, clean, and fast! Very family friendly.

It's Chick-fil-a at its best. Like many of these locations they know how to provide the three essentials; good food, fast service, and decent prices. Live very close and love the Asian Salad! Why is it that this organization knows how to train its staff to treat everyone with class as opposed to the competition?

Great location and a friendly staff. The only downfall is the parking the circle around the building to the drive-thru which is still ok for me. I love the food and christian atmosphere

For a fast and courteous meal you can't beat Chick-fil-a. The classic chicken sandwich is outstanding. The waffle fries at yummy and lemonade is one of the best in the fast food genre. During the summer you can get a milk shake made with real milk. Delicious! It's always a "pleasure" to eat at Chick-fil-a.

Echoing what others have written, this is one of the best Chic-fil-a, It is always busy but food comes out quickly. The staff is very friendly. If you dine in the staff will very attentive and ask if you need re-fills, condiments and anything else. Everything is always clean and organized.

As Chic-fil-A goes, this is a probably the best one I have ever visited. In fact, it's one of the best run fast food establishments I have ever seen. What strikes you upon visiting this restaurant is its organization. Even the parking lot is organized, with the drive through lane sectioned off with a concrete bump from those who are dining in. When you enter the restaurant, you are greeted with an immaculately clean condiments counter and a team of people waiting to take your order. Everyone is so professional and a the ready. The food is always quick to come out. But if there is a delay, your food is delivered to your table. I have also never been to this restaurant when the manager/representative has not asked how I was enjoying my meal. It's one thing to ask, but the restaurant clearly takes note of what patrons are saying. They obviously care about their customers and it actually shows. You don't see this in fast food restaurants...heck, you barely see it in any restaurant nowadays. It's impressive. Did I mention that the manager offers to get additional ketchups, sauces, or drink refills for you--whatever you need? It's no wonder that this restaurant has one negative: the crowd. If you plan to visit during any meal time, get ready to contend with a LOT of people. And it's not just the people but the children. They are extremely noisy. There is a play area but it can only hold so many people. Note that Chic-fil-A offers free wifi. I have seen several people knocking out work on their laptops inside. I don't think I have ever felt compelled to offer such a thorough review of a fast food restaurant. But this one is just *that* good. The manager should be commended for doing such a phenomenal job.

Have never had a bad experience here yet. Place is very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I love how they will throw away your trash and help you when your seating. I am not really a big fan of their menu, but love the environment. Only thing that bothers me is the random kids running around but that's not the restaurants fault. I do love their milkshakes.

This is the second Chick-fil-a I've ever been to. As my dear friend exclaimed...it's real chicken breast! (that's just a given based on the chain) Great food, great service, and clean. Patrons are also very nice. Stopped by here on our road trip to DC. The play area is great and there's even a spot for toddlers. McD's can take a lesson from Chick-fil-a by installing doors that are child finger safe!

Usually I wouldn't review fast food but this place is from another world. You all know what Chick-Fil-A is about so I'll tell you what is different about this one. First, everything is organized on a godlike level. There must be an actual person that measures how to place all the sauces and utensils in the cupboards because it is always perfect. I saw some employee dedicated to this area. Second, the place is super clean. I mean CLEAN!! They must clean around the clock. Third, the employees are way too nice. They always smile at you. They ask you your name so your food comes out by name only. Pretty detailed operation. Lastly, the meticulous nature makes this place unreal. Food is fresh. Service is fast. Employees look like they are either making a ton or are just well trained. Maybe there is a bonus system for whoever smiles the most. And speaking of smiles, everyone I saw has perfect teeth. Maybe management pays the dental bills here lol. Best.Chick.Fil.A.Ever.

Rating this as a fast food biz --FF doesn't get any better. I abhor the rest. So their politics are antediluvian as is the owner of the franchise. The food is good, service is great, place is spotless. If your food isn't immediately available you are encouraged to take a seat and a staffer will bring your tray over. A modest display of fresh flowers on every table. Cant go wrong.

As a first-timer at Chick-Fil-A, I don't think I could have had a better experience than this place. The people at the register were very friendly and patient, and the service was fast. My food was hot, and quite good for fast food, so, four stars it is :D

Much cleaner than I expected a chick-fil-a to be. They even have an indoor playroom for the kids. This place was very nice and the staff is friendly. Chicken biscuit sandwiches are delish.
