Simply exceptional fried chicken. We ordered 12 piece box mixed pieces, it is cooked to order so not super fast food but worth it as the chicken is flawless. Sides of mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese and cole slaw were all basic but fine, I might suggest making the Mac & cheese sides a bit more quantity as the containers were only half filled. We are definitely making this our regular chicken place. It's interesting in that the location is essentially next to a KFC but that particular KFC is the single worst fast food restaurant I have ever experienced so Nana's will have no problem competing.

Extremely underwhelmed by this place. Received a flyer in the mail and decided to try. Ordered a Steak and Cheese Sub. Roll was good, the rest was frozen. We also ordered some chicken. Pretty much looked frozen too - dried out by heat lamps maybe?. KFC much better. Delivery guy was all balled-up too. kept calling my cellphone asking which apartment I was in. If he took the time to read the "special instructions" on the delivery receipt, he could have found us right away. Kept requesting that we meet him in the parking lot. If we wanted to go out, we would not have requested delivery. This place won't last!

Must try any new fried chicken place, given the lack of options on the area. Just read previous post, would say almost exactly the same. Ordered 8 piece dark meat only. Very crispy, good seasoning - similar to Popeye's with the Cajun theme. Would have liked to see a wing or two since those are technically dark meat. Also brought home buffalo chicken wrap which was loaded with chicken pieces. Not hard to beat the KFC next door so they should do well against them. Only other real fried chicken contender in the area is Jenna's Drive In - chicken there is made to order, no heat lamps needed. Place did appear family run which is nice, could have used more of a friendly greeting upon entering, especially considering the place just opened. Inside was clean, not much in the way of atmosphere or decor but maybe they are working on this. No biggie since it's a sub/pizza type place anyway - mostly take out business. I would return when the hankering for fried chicken revisits (unless Jenna's fry machine is fired up!).

This little hole in the wall which just opened up recently is the best damn fried chicken this side of the Mississippi. The Cajun spicy batter is just the right amount of spice and the chicken, whether boneless or not, is always cooked and piping hot. The biscuits are also delicious but too small. They should probably serve two instead of one with every combo. The prices are reasonable but some are a little too high. This place is 100x better that KFC, which is located across the street. I recommend this place for dinner or delivery any time.

I ordered delivery from here through Foodler and paid extra for Mac and cheese and a soda, neither of which actually showed up. I gave it three stars because the fried chicken sandwich was pretty good.

First... you get real full pieces of plump chicken, not the scrawny skin over bones. The Cajun and Buffalo wings both had excellent flavor, though I prefer a little more heat in the Buffalo wings. The crispy chicken breast was also very good. Tenders are huge, but they were under the heat lamp a little too long, and therefore somewhat dry. Except for the dryness of the tenders, the breast and wings were perfectly cooked and juicy. The place is brand new, and there is a little confusion and disorganization in the kitchen regarding timing, but they will work it out. It is a take out place with a few tables.

First time there was a success! They have only been open a few weeks but during lunch there was a steady stream of folks coming in - good sign! They have several options/sizes of meals: from sandwichs to family size with choices of white/dark or mixed meats. They also have some fried fish/shrimp plates and standard deli fare like subs and pizza. But their primary focus is the chicken. My Win! If you love good chicken tenders or sandwichs like I do this has to be on your place to try! I had the chicken sandwich combo, with cole slaw and a soda. The chicken had a nice crunchy (Krunchy!) batter with a bit of cajun seasoning for a kick - not too much though. The meat was juicy and tender. Cole slaw was pretty good and the serving was good size. Staff was very friendly and the place was clean. I have my fingers crossed that they are able to make it (with all the terrible reviews of that "other" place next door that I stopped going to years ago, Weymouth has been long overdue for a good, cheap and yummy chicken place.

I have been ordering from here frequently with several co-workers through Foodler since they opened, usually once or twice a week. I never really had any complaints (and honestly, loved the place) until today when I found two strands of hair fried in to the batter on one crispy chicken sandwich, then some half-brown lettuce on the other. I called the store to let them know and happened to get the guy who fries the food, but all he had to say was that it couldn't be his hair and left it at that without even half of an apology. While he offered to credit me on my next order, the quick dismissal of the issue on top of the fact that there were multiple hairs in the first place has left me unsure of whether I'll be ordering from them any time soon.

Ordered a 4-Piece White Chicken dinner with cole slaw, biscuit, and a side of onion rings. The good: -Chicken was moist and seemed fresh -Cook time and delivery were prompt The not-so-good: -Chicken was over-salted (and I like plenty of salt) -Onion rings were nothing to write home about -The cole slaw was bland and also seemed like it needed salt added to it. Also there was a rancid taste to it as if the mayo had gone bad. Had to throw it away. It was too disgusting to eat. -The biscuit is quite small In my mind, KFC would be the bare minimum standard for fried chicken. If you are worse than KFC, that is not good. If I had the choice to go back to Nana's or go to KFC, I would go to KFC. I just wouldn't go to the KFC in Weymouth because they are disgusting.

I have travelled extensively for many years. My favorite part of it has always been trying local food. I had the pleasure of trying southern fried chicken. I brought my son with me for his first fried chicken and he and I both could not have been more pleased. Just the right amount crunch and bold flavor. Highly recommended. If my son Liam gives it five stars if it has to be great!

Stopped in today to try out Nana's Krispy Krunchy Chicken. Just got the 8pc mixed (on bone) & a Krispy Chicken sandwich. The fried chicken was delicious, although the 2 drum pieces were very dried out & over cooked. It must've been sitting under lights much too long. The breasts, thighs & wings were all fresh, juicy, hot & crispy. Overall much better than KFC next door & an improvement over Popeye's although similar flavor profile. They were really meaty pieces, unlike the weird, smallish pieces they sell at KFC & Popeyes. My wife had the sandwich and said it was moist, tasty & fresh, but a bit skimpy on the portion of meat. For $3.95, at least it wasn't mystery meat. Inside, the place was clean, all new equipment, smells great & appeared family owned. They were nice folks, been open only a day or two. We will definitely come back soon & try it again & I'll post an update. They also have subs, pizza, calzones, wraps & salads but there's way too much of that food already in town in my opinion. Rating would of been a little higher had the 2 drums not been immediately binned & filet larger on sandwich. Other than that, looks solid, and an upgrade over KFC next door which is the worst one in 20 miles.
