Very good thin crust pizza. According to their website the coal imparts a unique "flavor profile". I have to agree, and I mean that in a good way. The coal fired flavor showed up the most in the roasted onions. With so few coal fired restaurants around, the unique flavor profile is reason enough to visit. The $4 draft Sam Adams seasonal is another good reason.

Our dinner was unbeatable. We arrived on a Sunday evening at halftime and they had an awesome pizza buffet and raffle going - and we won a gift card! Our server was nice enough to sneak our ticket in there just as they began calling names for the raffle, even though we had arrived late! The wings were good, but their pizza special (with shrimp!) was incredible. The pricing was absolutely reasonable as well. We're going again next weekend!

We went to Angela's for the first time tonight but it won't be the last time. We just tried simple mushroom pizza but it was very nice and a good value. I always ask for very little cheese so got a separate personal size pie - they actually gave me the pizza I asked for so that was much appreciated. (You have no idea how loaded with cheese most places make it even when you really try to emphasize that yes you do indeed want very little cheese!)

Service ok. Prices great. Food really great. Pizza is one of the best in the area and that coal oven makes for a great balance of crisp crust breaking through to pillowy dough. I would definitely go back anytime just keep in mind the young staff wasn't trained at high end eateries.

I can say without a doubt some of the best wings I have ever had. A must try, fall off the bone tender with excellent flavor. I had a very good Caesar salad. The pizza was excellent and seemed to be priced in line for the quality, overall a great meal. The wait staff was so so not commendable and not bad, I did find the restaurant a bit drafty though and I'm hardly ever cold. The only real problem is the menu is very limited, pizza is all they offer, don't get me wrong they do it and well, but I would imagine if they offered a few other things on the menu and they turned out as well as the pizza then watch out.

This place is freeezing inside. Even if the food and service were amazing I would not go back because it is so miserably cold. The menu only offers pizza and two types of salads, not many choices. The pizza was soupy, greasy and came out room temperature (COLD). Definitely not the type of pizza you can pick up and eat - far too soupy. Rather go to a pizza shop and pay less for a decent pizza. Will not go back to this place.

Awesome Pizza! So awesome that I gave it 5 stars and I am a cranky person. I am relatively new to the area, having moved here from out of state, and was expecting to have some awesome pizza, but, was i wrong! Chelmsford exists as a sleepy little town in the western suburbs of Boston. Quiet and unassuming, yet underlying this meek facade, exists a dark barren desert with lost souls telling me of their favorite pizza places. Each time I got my hopes up, expecting to have finally found a pizza place that was worthy of my refined palate, only to have them dashed and disgusted by what people were calling "pizza". Then I found Angela's! Like a shimmering oasis in the desert satisfying the thirst of a weary traveler, My hunger for deliciousness was sated by the cheesy goodness. Bottom line: If you want Awesome Pizza, Go Here!

Pizza tastes ok, would have been much better hot. I think anyway. I called up and placed an order in which they told me it would be ready within 15 minutes. I picked it up after 10 minutes. I have a less than 3 mile drive home and It only took me about four minutes. I got home and the pizza was ice cold and felt like it has been sitting out for multiple hours. I did only order a cheese and pepperoni so I guess that's possible that it was made earlier? Disappointing.

Excellent pizza! I've tried several different pizzas here and I've never been disappointed. Last night we had the Pepperoni Palmero (sp?) and it was amazing. It was my boyfriend's first time here and he is very picky about his pizza... He was very impressed and glad I dragged him there. The wings are fantastic! I will get cravings for these wings, and as good as the pizza is, the wings are what brings me back. We sat at the bar and the service was slow but they had just finished with a party so I think they were running behind. They have a good selection of beer on tap and a full bar. The decor is tasteful and looks almost too fancy for a place that only sells pizza and wings, but it's not pretentious at all. Good food, good atmosphere, and good prices... You can't go wrong at Angela's!

Angela's Coal Fired Pizza is the best place for pizza in the Tyngsboro, MA - Nashua, NH area. They use quality ingredients, including an excellent sauce which they actually make themselves using San Marzano tomatoes. While the price here is more than other pizza places in the area, it's worth paying for because you get a much better product and you will be able to taste the difference.

I live right down the street from here and they have the best coal fired pizza in the area hands down! You don't even have to request "well-done", It's already cooked to perfection!

Fantastic pizza and service! We celebrated a birthday party for 12 and couldn't have had better pizzas - strongly recommend. We are a group of very picky eaters and everyone had great things to say about the meal and evening. Outstanding service from Evan K. Looking forward to going back soon.

Shopping in Nashua on a Sunday afternoon and craving pizza. Our first choice (based on Yelp reviews) was closed due to a family emergency per a note on the door so we decided to give Angela's a try based on the Yelp review. Arrived around 1:30 pm (during a Patriot's game) and though it appeared to be busy based on the number of cars in the parking lot, the main restaurant was not. From what we could see, we were one of only a few tables. The hostess seated us quickly and our waitress also arrived very quickly. Both were super friendly. We (girlfriend and I) shared a family size house salad to start and though I wanted to try the Shrimp Aglio Oglio pizza, you couldn't get a 1/2 and 1/2 with certain pizzas, this being one of them Since it was just the two of us dining, we decided to build our own. Mushrooms on the entire pizza, red sauce and on one half, spinach and diced chicken. On the other half, sausage and caramelized onions. The salad was a nice size, fresh greens with cucumbers, tomatoes, egg wedges. Our pizza arrived in a reasonable amount of time and it was piping hot and our first slices were delicious. Very light, tasty crust with the right amount of cheese. The only thing that prevented this from being a 5-star experience was the diced chicken, which was a bit dry. Overall, we're fans and would definitely return. Total for our tab (tap water for drinks) including tip $32. Very reasonable for a good quality pizza!

In August, my friend and I came here for dinner. We shared a Caesar Salad and a small pizza with caramelized onions, roasted mushrooms, kalamata olives, artichoke, and prosciutto. I wished the artichoke was either plain or marinated in herb oil instead of parmesan crusted.

We have been here a couple times. It is a great place. The pizza is superb, the people friendly and they had the most decadent Sweet Potato Maple cheesecake last time we went. It was so good. My hubs is from Italy and he said this is the best pizza in the area closest to Italian pizza. We got the Grilled chicken, caramelized onions pizza. It was so good. The wings are a treasure. different than your normal chicken wings. Served on a bed of focaccia. No complaints!

The food was great. The lack of star is that when I called for pick up she forgot to put in the order so my 20 minute wait turned into a 45ish minute wait. No discount. Didn't even comp my iced tea. Slightly disappointed. But thank goodness the food is good.

This restaurant was a disappointment for us after reading all the hype. Service was nice in a subdued kind of way but so, so slooooow. It was not busy, so I don't know if the issue was in the kitchen or with the newer waitstaff. We pretty much spent the afternoon there. So much time went by between each visit by the waitress that my husband almost lunged to throw his card at her towards the end. As far as the food? I did enjoy the carmelized onion smothered wings with the lemon and rosemary flavor-pretty darn good. My spicy shrimp pizza was just okay, but my bad for ordering one without sauce by not carefully reading the ingredients. If you like it with just olive oil, you may have thought otherwise. My husband, while he did enjoy the pizza, was served a plain one when he had asked for pepperoni and garlic. That would be like serving me a hamburger without the meat...he was pretty bummed. We didn't bother asking them to fix it since it had already been a long time at that point. This all ended with a sticker shock bill that made us want to go back in time and start over somewhere else. Sorry to say, just not worth the drive, time, or money for us.

Delicious pizza. Got the Lady Grace and it perfectly hit the spot. Happy to go back and get some more pizza. The red house special sangria was a nice surprise at a pizza place and solid

Walked in the place 6:45 on Thurs. only 4 people in the restaurant. Was seated, no one came to the table to take our order, plenty of help milling around the building. Terrible service, limited menu, if I could give less than one star, I would have. Left without eating.

I generally don't like chicken wings, but I LOVE THEM HERE! Marinated with herbs and with the carmelized onions, they are the best I've ever had! Pizza is pretty good and the salads are HUGE, but pretty basic. Check this place out if you are in the area.

Met up at my brother's place for a mini family reunion. Decided we'd go smart and just order pizza for the 7 of us. Picked up 4 pizzas, a salad, and wings for a grand total of $66. I'd had Angela's in Saugus before, so I knew a bit of their style. They nailed it here with the cheese, and the pepperoni and the salad. The wings? well....I'm not a fan there, but they were good. Take out was the way to go, but they would have delivered. Large bar with a few HD tv's to watch a game. Parking was plentiful.

I Love this place. The Shrimp Aglio Oglio pizza this place has is amazing. This is my go to place whenever I want to impress family and friends with great pizza , even dining in the atmosphere feels good and the staff is knowledgeable regarding the food they have and friendly. I can't get enough of it, every time I order the shrimp Aglio Oglio, it's just so good! I hope someone out there reads this review and goes and orders one of this pizzas or two, you will not be disappointed, you're welcome.

This review is only based on the takeout experience. My wife was craving pizza and yelp listed this is one of the top pizza establishments in my area. The pizza did not disappoint. The pizza had lots of fresh ingredients. The thin crust was crunchy and a change of pace from all the traditional Greek style pizzas in Massachusetts. The chicken wings had thick cut sauteed onions and a nice almost jerk spice. Very good pizza for the price.

We ordered a family house salad and a large pizza. The pizza was EXCELLENT! Sauce was perfectly seasoned. Not too sweet; Not too salty. The family salad was good too, but I was expecting a lot more for $9.

I have been to Angela's several times in the past, but not in the last six months. Until last night! I attended a casual business meeting for about 18 people. We were spread out over 2 tables which worked just fine. The pizzas we had were delicious, as always. The thin crust allows the flavors of the toppings to shine through. I know that a Wednesday night in July may normally be a quiet night for Angela's, however, when you know you have a party of almost 20 people, it is a good idea to put on some extra staff. We only had 1 waiter to share between the 2 tables; and, he had 5 other tables to take care of as well. Needless to say, the service was a bit slow. I think the waiter did the best he could, but he was definitely spread too thin. I always enjoy the sangria at Angela's and it did not disappoint last night. All in all, I think Angela's is definitely a 4 star restaurant!

I made my first (hopefully soon to be of many) trips to Angela's Coal Fired Pizza the other day and I walked out thinking that this was one of the better pizza's that I've eaten in this area. The pizza was amazing and full of flavor in every bite. Also, the wings were light yet full of amazing flavors. I enjoyed the wings as they aren't your typical breaded and fried wings that you typically find at most places. They were light and amazingly cooked in the coal fired oven. They left you full, but not stuffed which is a nice feeling that you don't often get while eating wings and pizza. Overall, I give the food 5 stars. I also enjoyed the flow and setup of the restaurant. I was seated near the bar area and the tables are well distanced from each other which you don't always find at many restaurants. While dining out I enjoy my space from other tables and don't want to feel like my table neighbors are listening to my every word. Angela's is a great place for people like me that also enjoy the privacy of tables like this. My only gripe about this place was the temperature of the draft beer, which will require me to take 1 star off my total. The beer was cold but not cold enough for proper draft beer drinking. This is a major pet peeve of mine and really can make or break my decision on going back to the place again. I could only drink about half of the beer before it became too warm to want to drink any further. I hope they will look into the problem with their tap system and properly adjust the keg temperatures. Overall, the experience was great and I hope the beer thing was just a onetime bad problem.

One word: delicious! This is a great restaurant. The pizza is amazing! We went during a Sunday at around noon, so no one was there. The house salad with chicken was excellent, as well as the chocolate mousse cake. I recommend this for a family. 5 of 5 stars! The service was great, and there was little wait for our food to come out. I think this restaurant is great!

We went to Angela's for a repeat visit on 5/11/13 and were not disappointed - absolutely delicious! A must when shopping in Nashua. We had the shrimp alio olio pizza as well as the sausage piazza - both were loaded with flavor. My son created his own with meatballs - it was fantastic. Highly recommend.

I am a Vice President of Quality for a local company and have spoken to many customers both locally and around the world. When your company or one of your employees makes a mistake to one of your customers, the right thing to do is acknowledge the mistake, apologize, tell your customer it won't happen again and treat them with respect for the rest of the evening. Tonight was a different story. I have no problem waiting in line for dinner especially when the hostess provides an estimate. We were told 15 - 20, clearly not a problem. It was quite busy and after 20 minutes a group of 4 ( 2 couples ) came in, said hello to the kitchen staff and said they had to leave as they couldn't wait for 40 minutes for dinner. They were a rather arrogant group who could not get out of the way for the band and others trying to pass by. The hostess even had to ask one woman to move as the band members couldn't get by. With 5 minutes the group of 4 who were going to leave, gave a hug to one of the waitresses and they were promptly seated. Though this in itself was wrong, while being seated 15 minutes later, I mentioned to the hostess that friends of the restaurant shouldn't have priority over paying customers. She left and a waitress in off blond hair came over and basically told me I was completely wrong, the 4 had reservations and were friends of the band, the reservations were in the book and they were busy. Funny how none of the two band members ever said hello to their friends whom were in the way when trying to pass by. The waitress was defensive and as far as I'm concerned, lied to us. She even had a nice young gentleman wait on us. Maybe she knew she was in trouble. I heard the conversations of the group of 4 when they came in, saw all the interactions, even gave them more room etc. So Angela enjoy your friends, you just lost some paying customers who also make recommendations for company gatherings and lunches. Angela's will not be a place I recommend. Angela - I would strongly suggest you pull you staff a side and let them know why the establishment exists and why they get paid every week. It's your customers that are important. Next time you or your staff makes a mistake, apologize tell your customer you'll try hard not to let that happen again and treat them with respect for the rest of their dinner. Your customer will come back, I however won't.

Most of the stars are for their wings. They were phenomenal and the onion topping was ridiculous. I didn't really think the pizza was the best. I've definitely had better pizza at tons of other places. The service was a disaster............it got really ridiculous and the place was dead. She dumped our food off and didn't come back. It was nearly impossible to even get a soda refill. I absolutely hate that and it ruins the experience entirely but the wings were so good I have to give them stars for that.

Very tasty! So the service was top tier. The host was the actual owner, who was more than friendly. I LIKE friendly. I was surprised that this is a pizza place. Period, end. They have 1 salad on the menu, 1 side of wings on the menu. Everything else is pizza. Even pizza places have more on the menu than that. I wouldn't have minded ordinarily, but I would have liked to see dessert at least. I'm going to have to take off a star for that. =( The pizza itself was great. Start with a base 14" personal pizza for 10.50. Add toppings for 1.50 apiece. Very fresh, very tasty toppings with a good variety. 15 bucks for a specialty personal pizza is not that bad a price, especially considering you get a pleasant ambiance. The pizza's great. Really. Sausage, Buff Mozzarella, and 'shrooms a good pizza make! And the fact that it's all custom means this is a good vegetarian option too! (not so much for vegans, sorry guys). Our waitress, while she tripped over her words a bit and seemed to space out for some reason, was fantastic. Name's on the receipt, guess it was Rebecca (I never remember these things..). Other than that brief little space cadet moment which was more amusing than annoying, she was perfect. She knew when to come over and take out order and knew well enough to leave us be when we're talking. Above all, a sign of a good waitress is her timing, in my opinion. Kudos! Menu for drinks I only saw beer and wine (and sangria, but...that's just wine that you drink by the jug). Didn't see any hard drinks, and the beers were standard fare with Boston prices. 6$ for a 22oz Sam. 4.50 I believe if you wanna slum with Bud. Don't come here for drinks. Price wasn't bad. 50 bucks with tip for two personal pizzas with 3 toppings on each and drinks. All in all, enjoyable experience. Lack of variety hurt it a tad (really, I've NEVER seen a place sell pretty much just pizza) but the taste, value, and service more than made it worth it. If I want pizza and I'm in the Lowell/Nashua area, I'm coming here.

New England Pizza is a super let down to me. I used to live right next to a Mellow Mushroom...and if you have ever been to one...I think you know what I mean. Anyways...I searched and searched for good pizza and FINALLY I found a pizza that I actually like. The pizza is thin...delicious and priced accordingly. The best thing about this place is....MONDAY-WEDNESDAY cheese pizza is half off...yep you read right HALF OFF!!!! And their cheese pizza is my favorite. They have good salads and good wings as well if that is your thang!! I would recommend this place to people for sure!!

We decided to try this place out for dinner on Saturday night and it was a mistake. We had a party of 4 and the overall consensus was that we'd never return. The place was practically empty on Saturday night which says a lot. Knowing the restaurant was an old strip club was humorous but they did a good job renovating the space. The menu is very limited with only one app (Wings) and one salad and the rest pizza. You'd think they would make a GREAT pizza considering that's basically all they sell but it was quite the opposite. We ordered two large specialty pizzas for 4 people which was a lot of food. Pizza #1 was the Ultimo which was simply a "meat lover's" type of pizza. The quality of the toppings (Roni, meatballs, sausage, and prosciutto) was very poor. The toppings reminded me of "House of Pizza" quality toppings. To be honest, I was expecting higher quality toppings for the price and type of establishment this was? Pizza #2 had fresh tomatoes, spinach, garlic, and feta (Don't remember the name) which was the better of the two pies. However, the roasted garlic cloves over powered the pizza and it was basically the only flavor you tasted with every bite. The crust on both pies was probably the best part: crispy, light and slightly burnt. Overall, I give this place a C- and will most likely never return. If you're looking for a good wood/coal fire pizza go to Flatbreads or Bertuccis. As a side note: They offer 50% off cheese pizzas Monday - Wednesday. It might be worth going just for the 1/2 off cheese pizza?

I have been here a couple times now and have never been disappointed. The only problem is the menu is pretty limited so I couldn't see coming too often unless you don't mind the limited selection. I really like the wings with focaccia and think you have to start your meal here with them. They are certainly not your typical wings as they cook them in the coal oven with the pizzas. They come out unbelievably tender and juicy. Plus, the caramelized onions they pile on top are a great companion. We have had the Ultimo which was totally loaded with toppings and the Hawaiian (it was a pizza of the month) which was great. The coal fired thing is probably not for everyone as it does give the crust a flavor that is different than your usual pizza. I like the flavor although your hands tend to be a little black from the coal dust coming off the bottom of the pizza. The first time we went they said they were out of desert and the second time it was unimpressive. I would recommend going elsewhere if you want something.

Take out is a dream, dine in very good as well. I ordered at the bar a few weeks ago on a Wednesday night and they lost my order. A full 45 minutes later they still hadn't produced a cheese pizza. Smart bartender comped the beer and pizza to salvage the relationship. Nice going! Pizza was and has always been the best in these parts.

Food and drink are good, as is atmosphere. Server hygiene is a problem, however. Handling my leftovers with hands is not acceptable. It was distressing to see that it wasn't just my server either; I watched another server 'handle' leftover pizza too. Half of my $20 pizza ended up in the trash after seeing the server handle dirty napkins, plates, money, and my pizza. I would have sent this comment thru their website but their website doesn't have a mechanism for feedback.

I thought the pizza was OK and was more hyped up than it should have been. I was also let down going in because I didn't know they only had pizza (oh yah-and chx wings and salad). For six people, we ordered three small pizzas (14 inch): (1) proscuitto and onion- this combination made for a realllly salty pizza. The onions had already been marinating I think, so it was salt and seasoning overload. Although, the placed the meat under the cheese- which many places don't. (2) palpetto and ricotta cheese- the cheese was too seasoned and dried out unfortunately. I'd say this pizza was the most well done out of all three. But, the meatballs were flavorful. (3) sausage, roasted peppers, and mushrooms- this was my favorite pizza. But, I didn't like that the roasted peppers included green peppers. The sausage was sliced up sausage links, not what you would get at your run-of-the-mill pizza joint- these were quite tasty. The atmosphere was alright- it was a Friday night, and not too crowded. But the main dining area was LOUD and really echo-y. Our waitress was nice and attentive to our table. I would go back here, but it won't be my first choice for a night out.

I had not known that this was the second Angela's; apparently the other is in Saugus. Husband and I tried this place on Sunday of the power outage of Dec. 08. The place was quite full at 7:00 pm with lots of chatter about getting out of freezing homes and downed tree limbs, etc. We had the Italian salad for two. It was slightly disappointing, altho at least they use romaine and not iceberg lettuce. Few chunks of pink tomato, quarters of hard boiled egg, some chickpeas and olives scattered in, plus some random slices of celery. Two little pieces of herby flatbread. For $9.00 just think of the salad one could serve, with some slivers of parmesan and maybe some roasted peppers and fabulous grape tomatoes (which seem to be in season year-round) and baby greens? The vinaigrette was heavy on the red wine vinegar; again, why not go with a balsamic vinaigrette? We ordered a small traditional pizza which was the closest to a European pizza I've had here. Very thin crust, good sauce and not the greasy layer of oil on the cheese. It was superb. Loved it. With that we had the wine of the month, Penfold's Shiraz maybe, and that was good. We'll definitely go back or do take out. Edit: April 2009 The owner of this place has been charged with attempted murder and other things, having allegedly put the barrel of a loaded gun in the mouth of one of his employees. thefts, drug money...a previous jail stint. The wife's name is on the liquor license. don't know if the place has been shut down or what, but I know I will not be back.

Our fridge died weeks ago. And since we were in the middle of selling the house and then moving out, replacing it seemed patently wasteful and several attempts at repairing it proved fruitless. Now with that background in mind, if I never see another pizza again as long as I live, it will be too soon. Unless, of course, that pizza is at Angela's. Friendly, friendly staff greets and serves you, and the pizza is top notch. Yeah, the menu is limited otherwise, and the focaccia is not complimentary which is sort of a bummer, but it's so good it's actually worth the extra coupl'a bucks for a plate of it. When we were there, there was live entertainment, which I suppose was alright. But they were weird - they kept bickering like a married couple. We also checked out the Saugus location but it was much smaller. Otherwise, it's the same good food and atmosphere. I dig.

I thought this place was great! It brought some life to a building that was a closed down for a long time. Every business that has gone in there has not lasted. I decided to check it out regardless. For a Friday night the service was pretty fast, we sat at the bar tables since it was readily available, otherwise there was a bit of a wait and the parking lot seemed to be packed. It's a bit smaller than I thought it looked from the street, half of the restaurant is the bar. The waitress, who also was one of the bar tenders seemed to be on the ball. She came right over to us and got our food order in and out relatively quickly. The pizza was a pretty good size too. After having some of my appetizer (which they only offer 1 or 2 things - salad being one of them and chicken wings the other), I think I only ate 2 slices of pizza. All in all though, this place was so much better than I anticipated. I just hope they stay in business!

I went for lunch. The wings are unbelievable good. They're small, I got the wings with the caesar salad for $9, you get 4 small wings and a huge salad with bread. I thought the price of pizza was expensive. If you want a large pizza (it looked really large) with 3 toppings it will run you $22. Guess I'm used to Dominoes for $12. They should offer more on the menu, if you went with friends who wanted something other than pizza or salad, they'd be out of luck. Why not some sandwiches? Service was good.

The pizza was great and atmosphere very inviting for a low-key weeknight dinner. However, I took my 2 1/2 year old daughter there and was disappointed to have been seated in the back of the restaurant, by ourselves where it was very dimly lit. There were definitely empty booths available among the regular seating area and I mentioned something to the waitress. She did turn up the lights but I felt like we were seated in Siberia because of my child, who was actually very well-behaved, very quiet and ate her pizza with a fork!

Visited during the wings + lg cheese + lg 1 topping pizza for $24.95. Really great pizza. Make sure you like the crust char-black (I do). The sauce on the pizza was also very flavourful. As I tend to prefer Buffalo wings, the teriyaki wings didn't impress but they weren't bad. The pizza however was really the best I've had outside NY.

I've driven past this place about a million times and never gave it a second glance until yesterday. Suggested to my boyfriend we stop by there.. Was pleasantly surprised! We ordered the mushroom trio pizza... DELICIOUS!! three different kinds of mushroom with SHAVED parmesan on top. Not grated... Actual, large pieces of parmesan. Crust was delicious, and I don't even like crust. Also ordered the house salad... Came with two slices of homemade crutons... Chickpeas, eggs. The dressing was really good!! I got a sangria... Wasn't the best, but I gulped it down!! Pretty standard sangria. The only complaints I really have were the plastic plates, the music was horrid, and the interior needs updating. But our waitress was super nice... I enjoyed the experience and we were both glad we decided to give the place a go.

my boyfriend and I have driven by this place a million times, and decided to try it for dinner and drinks last night. We each had a beer. We ordered the special Buffalo chicken pizza. It was delicious. Every little addition to the pizza, the scallions, blue cheese, truly made it yummy. We each had a second beer. When we got our bill, the cost of the pizza was $31.45. Whhhat!!? Over $30 for one pizza!? We added spicy peppers for a topping which cost $2.50. The most expensive pizza on the menu did not exceed $20. There wasn't an advertised price for the special. Total bill without tip for a buffalo pizza and four beers was $77. Absolutely outrageous. We dine out regularly and will never go back for that price,

The crust rides the very fine line between cracker/flatbread and Neapolitan, which makes for a great treat. The service (at 6:00pm on a busy Friday) was prompt if slightly terse, but it's Friday and the place was slammed. The wings are a great pick -- juicy and rich with a big bright citrus hit. A great slice of pie, wonderful flavors, and really outstanding service from kitchen to table. The non-alcoholic beverage selection isn't the best (costing them half a star); while very welcoming to kids, outside of soda... not a lot to choose from, which stinks.

I took my family and my visiting cousin out for a special dinner. I just had the best service from Patsy. She made our special night even better. Patsy made my kid feel comfortable, suggested wonderful pizzas and added the special touch to our dinner that made it memorable. We will return for the food and the service.

The pizza here is good, but the wings are amazing. I don't know what kind of magic sauce is on them but they are perfect, tender, tangy.

Pizza was amazing, one slice was pretty burnt but that's okay. Wish they had quality fresh Parmesan for the pizza, makes me wonder how fresh the toppings are. Sangria was good( I had the white). The service was pretty slow considering there was only 3 other tables but the pizza came out fast and was descent. A smidge over priced for the

Angela's has really good pizza. Took my mother in law. We split a small pizza and salad. Topped with a glass of wine. Full and happy! Good service and food. Give it a try if you are in the mood for pizza

The BEST pizza. Period. Amazing crust; light, crispy yet chewy enough, with good flavor. Great topping options. My faves are the chicken parm pizza and the figaro. To-die-for marinated coal fired wings. Great house salad. Staff is friendly. Love this place. What a find!

I ate here recently with the mrs. We split a Caesar, which was very good. The pizza was also very good, but not outstanding. But, we tried a small order of chicken wings which had too much lemon. I found them not only not good, but horribly overpriced.

The pizza is amazing, cooked to absolute perfection. It doesn't matter which specialty pizza you order, you won't be disappointed! I highly recommend the wings too, tasty marinade, the meat literally falls off of the bones. Great staff, great cooks, equally as delicious food! My husband and I frequent no matter how long the wait is, it is worth it

Great concept, wings are to die for as the chicken falls off the bone and melts in your mouth and the pizza is delicious but keep in mind it is coal fired so you need to like your pizza well done. I am a true believer in customer service being one of the top 3 things needed for a great dining experience and that is why I have a generous 2 star rating. The food is great and I want to keep going back for more, but there staff continuously fails to even be just "ok" with service. For example tonight we ordered a large specialty pizza and asked if the could substitute the sausage for bacon to which we got the answer "yup". But when we finally got the check it was obvious that the "yup" meant "sure we can but we will charge you for that and not tell you"! Yes this is over several bucks which is not the point, they should tell you. Plus I would of looked over our waitresses slow, less then caring attitude, lack of refilling drinks and disappearing act, but now I just can't. Not the first time for less then average service, but it might be the last time we give this place any more chances!

The pizza here was delicious, not too greasy and the crust was amazing. We also got a caesar salad which was good but nothing special. The table we got, for some reason was very very sticky (I think maybe some kid spilled a drink there, but no bothered to thoroughly clean the table..). It's not hard to wipe down a table with cleaning product! Our waitress Rachel was very friendly and polite, and provided great service. The hostess on the other hand didn't smile once and didn't seem very sincere. I don't know if she was having a bad day, but as far as I know, hostesses are the first impression of a restaurant when you walk in. I just didn't find her very welcoming and inviting... the waitress would have done a better job! Overall though, this is a good pizza joint with some good grub.

As many reviewers have noted, Angela's does NOT have an extensive menu...but...what they do, they do right! Service...always pretty good. The last visit was typical. Seated in a quick and orderly fashion and waitress came round to take a drink order. While their iced tea is not great, it is ok. My wife usually gets a coke for her drink. Atmosphere...nice without being over the top. Food...well...you can have salad, wings or pizza...that is it. The salads are quite good...the Caesar has crisp lettuce (which is missing in a lot of places), good croutons, good parmesan...and a nice Caesar dressing (get it on the side, as they sometime get a bit much on the salad...again, like many restaurants). I have not tried the garden salad. Wings...my favorite thing on the menu...as the sign says "Come for the pizza, return for the wings" (or something like that). The wings are not hot wings...but savory with the flavors of lemon, rosemary, olive oil and garlic. They are served with a heaping mound of caramelized onions and some really good foccacia. The foccacia is a great foil for the fall off the bone meat of the wings and the sweetness of the onions. These wings are down right craveable! Coal fired oven pizza...with a slightly charred crust...yummy. The crust is what makes this pizza...but what you like on it...but a thin crust with a bit of char...fantastic! Highley recommended!

Love their shrimp pizza! Thin crust, love the slightly charred edges and plump shrimp with garlic and halved grape tomatoes, fresh basil slivers and shaved Parmesan. Got the pizza to go tonight and reheated at 400 degrees for a few. Invites. At home a Side salad with homemade balsamic dressing, a bottle of Red wine and dinner is served! When we eat there we sit at the bar and always enjoy it!

So, I've been here like a year ago to sit down, that experience was fine... good food, waitress was polite, etc. Ordered takeout a few weeks back and I was very disappointed. First of all, I ordered a white pizza and when we got it home it had red sauce. STRIKE ONE. Strikes 2-10 consisted of the hair I found stuck in the cheese. Vom.

This is my second time here and both times the pizza and wings have been fantastic! The catania pizza is my fav...proscuitto, spinach, garlic, cheese with an alfredo sauce..delicious. The sangria is extremely weak...next time I will stick to either wine or beer. Service was excellent and love the high top tables in the bar area.

You know, I have a certain amount of respect for establishments that are so confident in what they do that they have very limited menus. Here angela's has pizza. That's pretty much it. It's good pizza too. Comparable to Bertucci's but, you know, a little better. We had on with fresh mozzarella and basil. The pizza was big. Also enjoyed were the special chicken wings. The flavor was unique; tangy and savory. The salads and chicken wings come with their focaccia bread. Most of the flavor there is from the Parmesan cheese loaded onto it. I'm not complaining. For pizza you can do a lot worse. This isn't a spot worth driving to but if you're in the area I'd give it a go. Pass

1st the hostesses are pretty dumb, I think they were the former strippers when the place was Matthews. 2nd place is big, I was very impressed. Clean and roomy. Was seated right away, arrived at 6:00, good timing. Nice bar in the back. Wings, I thought were VERY flavorful but a touch, "touch" dry. We placed our order and within 3 minutes the wings were at our table. So I know they sat around, they must make big quanities of them and just get them out when they're ordered. Pizza was outstanding. No grease at all. Got the chicken alfredo with half brocoli and have bacon. And a pepperoni. Both outstanding!!!!!!! Will go back.

It seems that instead of attempting to provide variety, Angela's has chosen to focus on three or four things they know they can do right. Therefore what you get is perfection every single time. I have never tried a pizza here I did not love and I would like to bathe in the coal fired onion mixture they cover their wings in. I also enjoy the drinks here-great draft list, fantastic sangria, and always at least one martini I can get behind. I really can't get past the fact it used to be Matthew's strip club though. We used to try to peek through the tinted windows after hitting up Roller Kingdom. It makes my mind wander to weird places....and once I went to a baby shower here and I couldn't help thinking I was maybe in the champagne room. Angela's took the gentleman's club of my middle school fascination and made it into a family friendly establishment.

Atmosphere is great. Nice clean big place. Wait staff all seemed nice and service was great. Food is definitely above par but the menu needs some work. I usually hate when there's too much on a menu but a few more options (only 1 type of wings) would have been nice. Also has a great bar but beer selection is very limited. A few craft beers would be great at a high end pizza and wings place like this.

Pizza is fantastic here although I find it not consistant. One day the onions on the pizza are burnt to a crisp the next they are perfect. The menu is so limited we often pass them by simply because all 4 of us don't want pizza. We don't like the lime wings but others swear by them. Salad has improved they now have a small and large but be warned it isn't much more than iceburg lettuce a slice of tomato and a few red onions.

Leave it to me to find the typo on the menu. I'd been craving pizza for a week and Angela's was just sitting in my bookmarks waving hello. So we went. A friend had told me about the wings and raved on and on so I knew we'd be getting those as well. We walked in and got seated immediately. A bonus at the start, we had the most adorable waiter. That always helps. We started by splitting a small caesar and the wings. I enjoyed the wings but the BF thought the lemon was a bit too strong. The salad was OK but nothing overly spectacular. I'd probably forgo next time so I could finish my half of the pizza without feeling so stuffed to the gills. Speaking of pizza ... after a little snafu (wrong toppings) we got ours. I've had better (I'm lookin' at you Andino's) but I've had much worse as well. The sausage is spicy and the pepperoni was thin enough to crisp up slightly. I was a little disappointed in the cheese because I didn't find that good chewiness. One other slight downer, the music was a titch overloud. I'm sure if the place was crowded, it would have just blended with people noises, but since the place wasn't too busy, it was very noticeable. A worthy trip overall. I would definitely consider going back.

Ok .. the first thing that crossed my mind is where is Tynsboro ?? Let me tell you I will never forget it now. This coal oven fired pizza is so close to Pepe's pie from New Haven CT that is it well worth the 40 min drive just to devour pizza at this place. The dough is perfectly cooked even burnt around the edges like Sally's . The sauce and toppings were fresh and plentiful. Coal oven pizza cooks quickly and you will find it makes a crust like no other oven . My wife and I will be back for certain.

What I have eaten: Pizza = Cheese, Pepperoni and Mushroom, The Ultimo Specialty pizza The Chicken Wings Both times I have been here we were greeted and seated quickly. We chose to sit in the upper dining area behind the bar the first visit and the lower dining area the second visit. The lower dining area is much louder. If you want a little more privacy and less noise ask to sit in the upper area behind the bar. The first thing you notice when you open the menu is the limited selection. The menu is limited to the house style wings, pizza and two different salads; House Italian and Caesar. The second thing you notice is that in BIG bold letters the heading "Our Pizza is Cooked Well Done", that's right every word begins with a capital letter except "is". -They are bring'n it! The Wings (only one type of wings) are very unique tasting. I read other reviews here saying they were simply the best wings ever. Well, I'm going to say they are probably the worst wings I have ever had. I can understand how others like them though as they do taste unique. You probably won't find wings like these anywhere else. It's an overwhelming lemon and rosemary taste. In fact I am puckering my lips while I write this review a week after eating them. Both times I ordered them they were really, really dry (the second time was one of those "let's try them again, to make sure they weren't just having a bad night" moments). Moving on to the pizza - The fist time around they were running a 2'fer special for $25 with a small order of wings. We came here to see if the food was any good so we figured we would take the special. We went with Roni & Shrooms and a plain cheese to make sure they weren't disguising a bad pie with toppings. When the pizza arrives they place them on the table on pizza racks that resemble an old black cast iron spring. Okay, good, that answered the "what are these things on the table?" question I had when I first sat down. The server then slices and serves you your first slice of pizza. I got a kick out of that - you know it's the little things. The cheese pizza was good, you can sense the herbs in the mouth but not overwhelming like the wings. The Pepperoni and Mushroom pizza was very tasty. The toppings tasted really fresh and instead of taking away the flavor of the sauce they really complimented it. The crust and baking method really seal the deal though. It's similar to the brick oven pizza where the crust get's that dark crunch but still moist enough to be chewy. The coal fired method has a different taste than wood burning brick oven pizza. Good first visit, but at that point I wasn't thrilled with the wings so I wanted to wait and try it a second time before writing my review. Had I written it that night I was torn between 3 and 4 stars. The second visit we wanted to try one of the "Specialty Pies" so we ordered the Ultimo as it was a Friday night and we wanted to kick the weekend off with some good old fashioned meat. This is how you prep for big Sunday football games on the couch folks. You get that metabolism working good and early on Friday night. So they tout the Ultimo as the Ultimate meat eaters pizza, stuffed with pepperoni, sausage, meatball and prosciutto. Smothered in mozzarella cheese." (actually they misspell prosciutto in their menu, but I'm so OCD I had to fix it in my quote.) About 20 minutes after ordering our server came by and apologized, "due to the amount of toppings on the pizza, the center had collapsed" ** Boggle ** ..................................... ** Boggle ** ..................................... Wow, ok.. no worries.. Now my buddy and I are really intrigued. I didn't realize you could collapse the CENTER of a pizza... while it's baking.... on a SOLID surface. Attention folks; I am not a physics major. Learn something new every day. When the pizza finally arrived a good 40 minutes after ordering it was probably 1 of the best tasting pizza's I had ever had. (see my low quality pic of the Ultimo pizza that I took with my blackberry). My buddy thought it was too salty with all the meats so I got to eat more than half, and I did! =) Around my 5th slice the mass amounts of cured meats started to cause a build up of salt around my lips and I had to call it quits. As far as pizza goes this place is in my all time top 5. They are more expensive then your typical pizza joint but the bang for the buck is there. I wouldn't come here for anything else but the Pizza. If you're one of those people that goes out for pizza and orders some spaghetti dish then don't come here, the menu isn't that extensive.

I must admit I have a soft spot for places like Angela's - where they do one or two things to perfection instead of trying to be everything to everyone. A limited menu - yes, but what that translates to is fresher ingredients and a kitchen staff that have mastered the food you order. The wings are one-of-a-kind and a must have if you go there. The pizza is phenomenal and the extensive toppings allow for some creative combinations. They have a couple of decent draft beers, but I would like to see them extend their selection to a couple more interesting local microbrews (such as Smuttynose, White Birch, etc.).

Angela's still gets 5 stars. I wanted to say that I had the wings and they were unique and delicious. It was yummy to put the caramelized onions on top of the foccacia that came with them, too. Still love the pizza, and I've never had bad service. The Catania pizza may be my new fave. Spinach, prosciutto, romano cheese and alfredo sauce. Yum!

Visited this place on a nice and rainy Sunday outing... This strip-club turned restaurant is actually pretty nice inside...and has a cool setup due to the stage arrangement of the place. The Dining Room is on the lower level, (aka, this area was below the stage...yeah the place where all the, *ahem, Gentlemen of Pent Up Frustration would sit and observe the entertainment)...while the Pub area is a small flight of stairs up...and is actually quieter in that room due to a lower ceiling and without so much glass to make the room acoustically overbearing. (aka, this was the upper stage...where the "Ladies of the Stage" would...entertain.) BTW, I am only reiterating someone else's take on what the place looked like before. I don't make a habit of traversing Houses of Ill Repute. Much. I mean, recently. Er. Moving on... The staff were all very friendly and the place looked very clean. We ordered a special...some Angela's Wings and two pizzas...one with one topping and the other cheese. Extra toppings were $2. This special was about $25.00...so you do save a little money there and we were sure to have leftovers to munch on later. The Wings: Hmmm...these were a cross between teriyaki...and just lemon/herb...but really, the meat was rather dry...and really heavy on the rosemary. Other than that, the sauce they used was quite bland...and I almost reached for the Salt and Pepper to liven things up a bit. I let my friends eat those as I knew plenty of pie was comin'. The pizzas had come shortly after...and the expediter graciously served us our 1st piece...the pizzas were piping hot and obviously fresh off the coals. The crust looked a bit overdone, but even the menu has a disclaimer that claims all of their pizzas are cooked 'well done'. But all in all...the toppings were fresh...sauce was tasty...herbs were not overbearing...and the crust was thin and crispy. We had a Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza...with the plain cheese one due to the special. We devoured most of the P&M one...and had a slice or two of the cheese. Now later, this pizza heated up was nothing spectacular, but to be fair, this is the way of most pizza. Fresh...this probably rates in the Top 3 of the Pizza places in my area...at least within a 10 mile radius or so. But the search continues for the perfect pie....this one was close for sure. And btw, don't steal any money from this place...better yet, don't try and steal ANY THING from this place. In fact, don't even give this place a bad review. If you know the story behind this place, you're already nodding in agreement. I've said too much already. *gulp

I would say that there is nothing special about this place. Just an average pizza place. Some issues to mention: 1) The ceiling fan was very strong and it blowed just all over the place, so there was no sense to change a table. 2) Then they serve Lipton tea ... doesn't fit the price level... and there is just black tea, no other kinds. 3) The tea cup was chipped, not neat-o ;) 4) Although Pizza was not mind blowing, but OK, you can eat it. And service was quite good. All that stuff was not so important, if their prices are average for such kind of place. You just don't get what you pay for. For me Bertucci's and MT's are the best places for pizza, and the prices for pizza are pretty much the same ;)

This place is pretty cool... you would never know that this used to be a strip club. though I think some of the strippers stayed on, and now are serving pizza. Our bartender totally could have been named Chesty La Rue. I kind of wish they kept the poles in the venue, to keep it kind of interesting. The inside was pretty nice, there was a pit of tables full of families... and me... not really liking kids or suburbanites opted to sit at the bar. It was great, plenty of plasma tv's, friendly bartenders, and the bar was raised, so you were isolated from all the families and commotion of the large parties gathering together. The pizza's are huge and delicious. I went with my friend around new years. We were able to split a pizza and eat get a half for ourselves. So good. The bartender was very helpful in selecting the pizza and the proper wine. She even let me taste different white's they had. I can't remember what I chose but it was delicious. The quality of the food was really good, and definitely raises the bar on what you can do to a venue when a strip club closes down.

here's the description of the pizza we got: TOP STEAK Slices of sirloin w/ cracked pepper, roasted sweet peppers and a blend of american & mozzarella cheese slices of sirloin?? this tasted like steak-ums! shaved processed.. ugh! also, i was surprised to get roasted green bell peppers, I would never consider those "sweet peppers." overall totally disappointed with this pizza!

I'm pretty sure this place USED to be a strip joint and so when I drive past I get to wondering what a strip-joint-turned-pizza-parlor might look like inside. Having read others' reviews on Yelp, I decided to take friends-visiting-from-CT there for pizza on a Saturday afternoon. Cutesy waitress who forgot to put our order in...Pizza was pretty good, beverage choices nothing to write home about. Of course we HAD to try "the wings" given all the ranting and raving herein. Yep! Pretty much the best wings I've ever had! Fall-off-the-bone good! I'd go back in there for the wings alone! This is probably a good place to take kids, too. Ample room and comfortable seating. Lacking on intimacy. Good gathering spot for large groups. Tons o' free parking. Oh...there are a few remnants of the building's strip joint days i.e. tacky decorations. But that's about it.

Pretty nice place. We shared a family salad and a small mushroom pizza. Salad was great, all fresh ingredients. The pizza was just okay, the ingredients were fresh, but the crust was too greasy for my taste. GF loved it. The service was very good. We'll be back...

When I was home for Christmas vacation, my parents wanted to try this new pizza place right near the New Hampshire-Massachusetts border since they heard good things about it. We went to Angela's for lunch while there was still a considerable amount of snow on the ground. It was easy to get to from the highway and had plenty of parking. Angela's is just a few minutes away from the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, NH. I was expecting your average pizza and sub joint but experienced something ten times better. It has a nice modern interior with big plain windows that gives the restaurant an open feel. I was blown away by the chicken wings and the pizza. These weren't your usual buffalo-style chicken wings but instead were cooked in an unique sauce that contained what I thought was lemon, thyme and some other ingredients I couldn't identify. Very tasty. The pizza itself was excellent. It was thin-crust with fresh mozarella and pepperoni and not alot of sauce. Nothing tasted processed or frozen, which I appreciated. A great place to go for lunch or on a date.

There are a lot of other good reviews on this place, so I won't waste everyone's time repeating the highlights. I will only add that: last year I would have gladly given this place a 4 star review (they lost a star for burning (carbonizing) my crust about 1 in 3 orders), based both on the great tasting pizza, and the Mon through Wed half-price pizza deal. Sadly, they are no longer doing said deal, and it is no longer worth the drive. I'm sure the quality is still good, but, with so many other options out there, stopping the great deal lost them their edge. I know that I'm not alone in feeling disappointed, as I have three friends who have also found closer places, as a result. Still, I wish them the best of luck.

Went there Friday evening with my wife. The place was very busy which was a good sign. The menu was simple with limited options. We loved the ambiance. Ordered build your own pizza. I loved it but my wife thought it was so-so. It tasted like it was freshly made but it was not as hot when they brought it on the table. Also they do not have boneless wings which I thought limits their customers. The only negative point I felt was their service. Our server came just once to ask us about the food and if we need any thing else. But did not pay attention to water refills.

Angelas makes the best pizza and wings that you are going to find anywhere around the greater Boston area. It doesn't matter which location you go to. Lets start with the wings, considering thats what you would be getting if you are there for drinks at the bar or want an appetizer. The wings are coated in lemon juice, olive oil, rosemary and garlic then slow roasted in the coal fire ovens to give you the tastiest, moist, fall off the bone wings you will ever eat. They come in one style and that style has definitely been perfected. The cooks at Angelas Tyngsboro take some serious pride in their work. I even know a few of them personally. They help to develop the pizza menu items that you see and ensure that each and every pizza they put out are of the highest standards. These pies aren't made out of standard pie styles, but are hand crafted based on ideas the cooks and management staff come up with based on what they like and fused with traditional styles. Honestly, I will skip wood, brick or traditional oven pizza any day to come and get a taste of Angela's Coal Fire pies The decor is very inviting and its great that you can stand by the kitchen and watch the chefs at work making your pies and appetizers. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable and you will never see any issues even in the busiest times of the day. The one thing to remember if you are going for drinks and wings: Angelass is a beer and wine bar only, so expect that going in and don't be upset when they say they don't have booze.

I certainly consider myself to be a "pizza connoisseur" ...and boy, oh boy, this place has some of the best pie around!!! And the fall-off-the-bone-melt-in-your-mouth-deliciously-yum-yum wings are ridic! I'm a big fan of margarita pie and they do a nice job here. The veggie pie is great too (minus the shroomies, for me). I love how the coal-fired oven makes everything they serve taste absurdly good...do not be intimidated by the "blackened" crust of the pizza - it tastes sooo good and is soft & fluffy inside. Each meal starts off with scrumptious, fresh and hot flatbread-style focaccia that is absolutely covered in caramelized onions. THIS SHIT IS MONEY!! The sangria is really tasty too, sign me up for a pitcher or 4 of those! You def gotta eat here, if you haven't before. Seriously.

First time visit today. Thanks to the Phantom Gourmet. They have everything you want... as long as it's pizza, wings, or salad. Tim gave us a menu run-down. I don't think a waiter has ever done that for us before. Oh, and he gave us a free sample of the chicken wings - not bad. I'd go back, for the well-down pizza.

Tough to rate the food, when we NEVER had our order taken. Weird huh? Went there to take my gf out and to try something new and came highly recommended (from lovers of the chain restaurants, so we were wary going in). We headed into the bar, as I was very familiar with the layout/building, as I had worked at Bogies Place years prior to it becoming Matthews. Dining was busy and loud, but the bar was a bit quieter, so seemed like a good move. Somewhat of a wait to get acknowledged or greeted once we sat at the bar. Got our menus, first drink....scanned the menu, pretty limited menu, but agreed on a few things and were ready to order.. and then nothing... Seems the girl who greeted us and gave us the menus had an attitude, the shift was winding down (as I noticed a few new bartenders coming in, and getting set up). This was her time to smooze and work her tip for the 5-6 parties that she had been serving all afternoon it seemed, as their was a game on, that was ending. Our glasses were empty..I tried to make eye contact with her and motion her over, but she was working her customers and trying to avoid the 'new people' that came in while she was settling up. She actually asked the parties to settle up so she could go..this was a first. We flagged down someone that was coming in, and asked for the check after 35 minutes..the girl was tipping out at the same time and left her back to us. Should I have complained? you bet..but didnt bother..Piss poor attitude from the bartender and no level of food was going to make up for how aggravated we were. Word of mouth goes a long way..and have never recommended this place and never will. you dont want my money..fair enough. Surprised it's still open (if it is), the owner was involved with beating an employee and aquired a liquor license though a family members name. Stay home..pizza can be made at home on the cheap..and not worth the bullshit that surrounds this place and it's issues

OK, so I grew up in Tyngsboro and can remember the previous establishments [Anthony's Seafood, and of course the gentleman's club Matthews]. Alas, when Angela's opened, I figured what the heck. I wasn't much past 21 when I could finally legally get into Matthews, so I thought this was the next best thing. Obviously their wings are the most touted item on the menu - and for good reason. I am an elitist wing consumer; however the masterpiece that comes out piping hot on a mound of focacia and sauteed onions, simply melts in your mouth with the tangy lemon and pungent rosemary flavors. Sooo goood. They don't offer much other than wings, and pizza - but their pies are also high quality. Be careful - their toppings are huge and plentiful, so be warned. I got 3 toppings the other day and got quite the forearm workout. The menu may lack diversity, but you know what you're in for. It's no Cheesecake Factory, where you need 3 hours to read the menu and decide. Granted, we know Angela's has Mafia ties, and how some people 'swore off' eating there after the whole duct tape/kidnapping thing, but hey....to me, it just adds to the mystique of the joint. GET OUTTA HEEEEYYYAAAA!!!

Pizza, wings and cocktails my kinda place! I love grabbing a pizza on my way home from work, it reminds me of the pizza I grew up on, from NY. Well done! I just love it and they have a lot of great special pies too, recently had pepperoni with red onion and kalamata olives, weird combo but so yummy!

Great meal, great time, was had by all at Angela's CFP. We got to Angela's on a Friday night at about 6:30. We were a group of four and were seated quickly by the hostess. The place was about half full - nice decor, comfy atmosphere. Definitely kid-friendly since there were alot of them. Angela's only serves beer and wine - that was the only negative thing about our meal :) The server was young and friendly, and when we asked for suggestions she happily gave us some of her favorites and listed some popular pizzas. The menu is small - wings and pizza. We ordered the wings - only one kind - they were delicious - maybe a little bit lemony, but different than anything I have ever had - there are carmelized onions on top but I was able to avoid them by grabbing (yes grabbing) the wings underneath. We ordered two large pizzas so we would have left overs- The Ultimo, which was full of meat - it was a little salty (probably the bacon and the pepperoni) and then the Mediterranean - this was my favorite with spinach, feta, and tomato. We each had a slice of each and were stuffed - but not in a gross way - :) The wine and beer selection was also quite large, with many options. Overall, maybe a tiny bit expensive but we will definitely be back!

Angela's is such a great find for Pizza & Beer. We had been searching for a place that served chicken parm pizza & Angela's is fantastic. We've gone twice and both times the service has been great with the servers giving accurate info on the size of the portions. The atmosphere is inviting - can't wait to go back!

was up in the live free and die state yesterday, so we stopped off at Angela's for dinner... the "za was pretty darn good, but more about that later... We liked the menu.... simple and to the point, nothing worse than paging through 12 pages of food items when the place specializes in just one main idea (in this case, pizza). Anyway, we passed on the salads, had the chicken wings... I guess we expected something else, but these were more like something that had been boiled then coated with a sauce and then grilled or baked... Not bad... but I don't think we would order them again. The beer selection was awesome and the sangria was good too... Wished they had outdoor seating to enjoy those particular items. Now for the pizza... Thinish crust, bubbly on the edges, a bit well done on the bottom, but definitely a winner... the pizza held up to the "flip" you know where you bend the slice in the middle and flip up the end.... We got their mushroom pie... three different kinds of 'shrooms.... yummy and to take home their equivalent of a meat eaters.... great for leftovers..... We'll be back!!!

After reading all the positive reviews for Angela's, I was really looking forward to trying their wings and pizza. The meal started off promising, but ended with a lump of disappointment. We liked that the menu was very simple, with only 2 salads, wings, and pizza (choose your own toppings and a handful of specialties). The wings were good, tasty, but nothing special. Cooked simply with rosemary and lemon, very tender, and complemented with a heaping pile of caramelized onions and foccacia wedges. Though not outstanding, we did enjoy them and even finished off the plate as we awaited our pizza. We got a large Polpette (Meatball) and Ricotta pizza, and when it arrived at the table it looked absolutely delicious. The crust was crisp and darkened from the coal oven, and we couldn't wait to dive in. I took the first bite and immediately it hit me - salty. Incredibly salty. Like, dive for the beverage salty. Now I certainly don't mind food with a little salt in it, but when it tastes like someone dumped half a salt shaker, that I can't handle. My husband on the other hand has a much higher tolerance for salty food, so I waited for his reaction (after all, maybe it was just me). After a couple bites, he looked at me and echoed my thoughts. We forced ourselves to finish our slices, downing our sodas in the process. We couldn't touch the rest of the pie, but took it home (after all, it was $19!), where its fate is unknown. Was it the last night of one of the kitchen staff, and he was routinely dumping extra salt into everyone's pie? Was it the pizza we selected? The meat and the ricotta were clearly the saltiest items on the pie (we taste-tested the ingredients separately to find the source). Did we just get unlucky? On the way out, we noticed a newspaper article on the wall with the headline "Go for the pizza, return for the wings". Though a back-handed compliment, it rang true for us. Although, we won't be returning for anything.

Outstanding pizza. I had a custom vegetarian version that included homemade Alfredo sauce instead of red sauce, and fresh mozzarella, etc. Whatever you order, make sure you add the fresh mozzarella. Makes all the difference. The small pizza is 14" and it seems larger than that. They are very generous with toppings, too. Great service! It's a nice place but not the kind where anyone cares how you're dressed. Great big parking lot. Superior restrooms. Overall? Splendid.

We went last night. I wish you could give stars for food and a separate set of stars for service. First the service.. We sat at the bar and I immediately felt a chill from the bartender like it was a real hassle that she had to be there, never might waiting on us. She was far too busy talking to people she knew on the other side of the bar. When we ordered wine, I also asked for a glass of water.. Pretty outrageous right? Well, I didn't get it. 10 minutes go by... I asked again.. nothing... After we were about halfway thru our wine.. I said, excuse me, could I please have a glass of water. She acted like I asked her to cut off one or her arms.. Throughout the entire meal, she was pissy and rude. We left a very small tip because of this, NOT the food. And now the food.. they have a good selection of wine, which is nice. We shared a satisfying bottle of Hess to start. The wings are overspiced and a wee bit overcooked but tasted ok. I like the presentation with focaccia and onions. Had the spinich and mushroom pie and that was really tasty. I want to send a message to the owners by there is no way to contact anyone through their website.. She really should be coal fired!

Ha! You call that a menu? There's two and a half pages, and one whole page for drinks doesn't count. Two salads: caesar or house. One appetizer: wings (which I thought was too lemony tasting). Pick your own topping pizzas, and then like four specialty pizzas. I would give this place two stars if it wasn't for the salad and pizza. We got the house salad which was decent, and some pizza with all meat toppings on it. The pizza was good, but I honestly thought it was about as good as the local House of down the street. And I'd rather go there. Prices: ew. A bit overpriced I thought for the portion of food. The pizza prices were OK because their pizzas are big and you could feed a family of four easily. We got an apple juice for my 7-year-old brother: it was a Mott's juice box and they charged us $1.50 for like 6 oz. of juice. Ridiculous. Service: everyone was friendly. I can't complain about that. Atmosphere: really nice. Too bad they don't have a better menu or I'd come here more often.

$17+ for a pizza with 1.5 toppings on it? And spots of it were burned? And they use plastic plates?! Meh for sure.

Absolutely loved the pizza here. There is something about coal fired pizza that if it is done right is just extraordinary. Those burned and charred portions of the crust are just flavor filled pockets of goodness and Angela's does it right. Although I didn't try them, the wings with caramelized onions got rave reviews from everyone at the table. I did get those caramelized onions on my pizza and all I can say is yum. Great job from a neat little place that used to be a strip club.

After seeing Angela's on Phantom Gourmet, we got in the car and took the short drive to Tyngsboro. Honestly, the food here was average at best. Don't try the rosemary chicken wings--they tasted like baked mini chickens and were pretty greasy. The pizza was ok, but nothing close to gourmet. Lunch was empty so at least we didn't have to wait, but I wouldn't come back here. There are plenty of other good pizza joints around that are closer than here. Service was fast and prices were average...just like Angela's.

I just went back and tried the wings... O M G. You HAVE to try the wings - even if you've never had wings before. They were fall-off-the-bone AMAZING. The wings alone get 5 stars and set a new high bar for good chicken wings!!

2 Pizzas - Meatball and Ricotta & Chicken Parmesan.Started with a Caesar salad. Food and service were fine. Pizzas were good. The Chicken Parm pizza, while well prepared, was a pizza with some chicken parm dumped on it. Nothing to make it different.

The food was ok. With so many good pizzaries in the area I would say it was good but not stellar. Not sure it will affect the food or service but interesting developments documented in the local paper: lowellsun.com/ci_12009764

Let me start off by getting this off my chest: what the heck is up with the decor? It appears Angela's wants to be an upscale, gourmet pizza restaurant but the decor falls short and feels forced/fake. It is definitely fancier than some of the other pizza joints, but some pieces just don't fit. For example, the strobing colored lights emanating from the bar give the feeling that I'm on a party bus. Then if you look at the general dining area, you see lots of families and plenty of very, VERY casually dressed people. So despite their attempts, the restaurant still doesn't feel too upscale. Okay, now on to the food. The pizzas were good. I am definitely coming back to try out some of their other specialty pies (and the wings everyone keeps talking about). Be warned, this place ONLY serves pizza, two salads, and one type of wings. Some don't like the terse menu but I think more restaurants need to follow Angela's example. I'm tired of seeing the enormous menus with cuisines varying from American to Korean to Chinese (I'm looking at you, fusion euro-asian restaurants)! My girlfriend and I ordered the two specials of the night: a zesty, lemony shrimp pizza and a spinach, ricotta, and prosciutto pizza. Both were excellent! Sure I have eaten better pizzas elsewhere (my favorite is still back in Houston, TX), but these are pretty dang good and the prices aren't bad for the quality. You should definitely try this place out if you live in the area.

Great pizza. Don't expect to get in and out for lunch in less than an hour. The oriental chicken wings are superb. Weird decor, kind of feel like I'm in a business park's lobby at times. Nice and sunny though.

The BEST pizza. Period. Amazing crust; light, crispy yet chewy enough, with good flavor. Great topping options. My faves are the chicken parm pizza and the figaro. To-die-for marinated coal fired wings. Great house salad. Staff is friendly. Love this place. What a find!

Seriously.

I dig.

This restaurant was a great find! There wings are amazing and I usually hate wings, their pizza was good and they had a great salad. The menu is very simple but delicious :)

Yum!

Outstanding chicken wings... This place has a classy vibe to it... The pizza is good but nothing great... It's the chicken wings that put this place over the top for me... The best I've ever had...

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
