Papas is where its at. An old standbye for flavorful thin crust pizza, Papa Gino's is on our short list when we need a pie fix. Yes, it is ridiculously expensive compared to other pizzerias in the area, but you always know what you're going to get and 95% of the time it's well worth the extra money. Plus, you can order online, they always have coupons and delivery is fast and friendly. Papa knows how to do it right.

Worth sad excuse for a pizza i have ever consumed. PERIOD! I ordered a large plain cheese for $15.33?!?!?!? Yeah its not a typo $15.33. The taste is very generic like that of a bad frozen pizza. The cheese was disgusting and the crust was under cooked and not crispy at all. Its a shame i have to give it that one star just to leave a review. Papa Gino's please do better.

Jesus, pizza has become expensive these days. You better have a coupon before you come here. I think it has gone down hill I have found better pizza joints then this. I live walking distance but still chooses to drive to somewhere better.

I love Papa Gino's! I go to one atleast 3-4 times a month but everytime I go to a Papa Gino's/D'angelo's combo all the food always seems worse idk....especially with this one I got a awful sub last time I was here but I made the mistake of trying it one more time...$10.61 for a steak and cheese that was more bread an actual steak and cheese...absolute ripoff....I won't be coming to this one again they have no clue what's going on...The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the manger here is the nicest guy and is absolutely great with everyone who walks through that door!

(Question) What happened to D'Angelo's? They used to make decent subs. (Answer) They got PaPa Gino'd. If you're going to serve stale bread, I may as well go to Subway.

Seriously the only good real Italian-style pizza left in Stoneham and that's sad because after all it's only Papa Gino's. Not bad in a pinch, but you might as well make the trip down Montvale Ave to Pizzaria Regina at Polcari's just inside Woburn. Subs are pretty good, because the D'Angelo's is in-house. The prices are ridiculous though.

All Papa Gino's are not created equal. I find this particular Stoneham location, to have consistently well made pizzas. Never undercooked, never overcooked just right all the time. They know how to properly place toppings on a piece of pizza, in an evenly manner. Another important factor for me is, if you call in an order, and they tell you 20 minutes, it will be ready in 20 minutes. If I had to guess, I would say that this might be an owner operated location, with a manager on duty at all times. Who takes pride in his work. But, that would be just a guess. In today's world, filled with subpar performance, you do a great job at Stoneham Papa Gino's. Thanks!

The following review is based on my experience in ordering from D'angelos, as this establishment is half Papa Gino's and half D'angelos. Since I work in Woburn and am poor at budgeting I often find myself meandering out for lunch with my coworker. Today we were going to go to Subway, but as we were approaching the plaza I suggested D'angelos, as I fancied something a bit higher quality and didn't mind the wait. The service wasn't awesome but they did ring everyone up quickly. I understand disliking your job, as I spent three years dealing with fast food customers in my teenage years, but you aren't going to get anywhere with a lack of politeness and a sour face. My usual buy is the chipotle wrap on honey wheat with chicken. Their portions aren't enormous by any means, and the "large" is a normal-sized wrap you'd get at any local pizza joint. The wait for your food is anywhere from 5 - 15 minutes in my experience, and it won't always be to-go as you asked. I had to ask to have my wrap wrapped up (ha-ha) and bagged so I could take it with me even though I did request that my order be to-go. It wasn't cut in half when I received it so I was kind of hoping they'd do that before bagging it, but they didn't, and anyway that's not a huge deal since I had a plastic knife back at the office anyway. When I got back to my desk I took the wrap out, cut it in half, and took a bite. Not even two bites later I came across a rather large piece of wax paper. I tried to convince myself that it was food ("must just be a weird piece of lettuce!"), but no; it was wax paper. The piece itself was probably 3-4" x 2" and covered in sauce. I don't know how it made it into my wrap or why it went unnoticed, but it really pushed me to write this review. The previously mentioned annoyances were quite trivial, but when you nearly consume some large, masked, inedible thing on top of that then I think it's time to share.

This place is half Papa's and half Dangelos. The place is clean, heavy take out and sit down lunch traffic at peak hours. Parking lot mostly full, kinda tough to grab a spot. Food was fresh but not super fresh. They didn't include the oil I requested on the Italian sub, and a medium sub, chips, and a medium drink ran me $9.16. You can get fresher ingredients and cheaper prices at locally owned sub shops in the area. Skip this place and buy local.

I just went here for lunch with my friend and ordered a Steak Peppercorn sub. It was pretty decent, if not a little overpriced, but I was disgusted and appalled to see that my friend got a huge piece of wax paper in her wrap. My sub cost a little more than her wrap, yet D'Angelos couldn't be bothered to give me some wax paper as well? I don't know if it's gender discrimination or just plain laziness, but either way I was cheated and will not be coming back here.

Not a complete disappointment, but let's face it, this isn't the worlds best. Like so many other franchise places, this fit the bill on quick munch-needs. Pricing is appropriate, and it really isn't that bad, it's just not that good either. Share's a space with D'angelo's, which is by far the best franchise sand which place. So there's some redemption.

Stay away from the chicken caesar salad wrap! The room temp. dressing will get you everytime. Had it for lunch, then spent the night and early morning on the toilet seat.
