I've went one time, and it was my last. I put $5.00 on the music machine and selected a mix of songs including Drake, Jay-z, Daft Punk, and a few others. When the rap/hip hop songs begin to play, after the first one the machine magically shut off around 1:15 am, and no it was not a coincidence and I am not pulling a race card, it is just the truth. Not the first time I have heard about the management/owner of this establishment being racist and wanting a certain crowd in the place. Pretty messed up, so he got his wish, me or my friends never returned. Thumbs down.

We visited for dinner. It is a bar atmosphere, but there are plenty of booths to sit and have a meal. If you want to watch the game there are numerous televisions and at least one projector. The fare is standard bar food style, hamburgers, patty melts and the like, but well done. Our server was doing a great job, although she should have had some help. She alone was working the bar and all the tables. The kitchen had some issues with my order, but our server was great and got it taken care off quickly. If you want a casual place to get a Guinness and a good patty melt, or meet some friends for a drink, this is a good place to go.

Good neighborhood Irish pub. Are you really coming here for the "menu" as the other reviews say? C'mon cold beer, good Irish whiskey and a juke box. What else do you need?

I love McCaffrey's! I come here a lot on weekends, and the DJ is always on point. If you like to dance, this is a great spot to do just that. I enjoy that the DJ plays some older dance music as well as the current stuff. It's also a nice chill bar during the day or on weeknights to hangout with friends, or watch sports. The food here is also delicious. I've always been a big fan of their appetizers, especially the fried pickles and their house wings. The only reason that I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because one of the Saturday evening bartenders does a lousy job. On Friday night there is always a blonde bartender who is excellent. She's quick, always has a smile on, and she works the bar very well. On Saturday there is a brunette bartender who looks absolutely miserable the entire night, and it is next to impossible to get a drink or even get her attention. She seems to have a hard time multitasking and taking other orders while she's mixing drinks and she moves at a snails pace. The other bartender who was working that night wasn't bad, but unfortunately she was working the other end of the bar. Overall I love this place, that bartender just needs to go!

An insult to the McCafferey name! First, bartender didn't know what was in a black & tan. Then when it was explained poured our two pints as half glass of murky half glass white headed , well glass of digusting fluid whatever it was. Then when asked to fix, poured two more of the same mud. Now not an expert but when I sip a black and tan I can usually taste the ditinct flavor of guinness... This outing we left glasses more than half full paid and left. At Paddy's now( just few miles away) and SO HAPPY!!!
