I come here for a quick eat while in salisbury on fishing trips in the summer and for a buffet its fairly good. Just get there when they first open the buffett since they dont refill the food trays that often. Ive been here twice when the board of health was here and as far as i know they only had a couple minor violations. The place is what it is a buffet not gourmet food which you shoudl know going in.

This place is not fresh...ate here with my 'rents when home for the holidays and the whole place screamed "food poisoning!" I'll cut them a little slack because it was the dead of winter and I'm sure fresh food when nobody is coming in is a tough one but still....I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.

What an original name for a Chinese Buffet restaurant, right? So if you take into consideration that you know the food has been sitting out since 10am, you will not think it is that horrible. The soups were kind of crusted over, there were a few flies flying around, the noodles tasted quite stale. But for the cheap price you pay, it is kind of horribly good

Despite all these terrible reviews, I've been here probably no less than 15 times for lunch over the past 5 years and I like it. Is it amazing food? Of course not, but it's tasty and if you go near peak meal times, it's generally hot and fresh from the kitchen and the price is right (at least for lunch, it's more expensive at dinner).

The food here is hit or miss. There have been times when I've been here and the food is really good and there has been times when it's horrible. I can't say that everything has been good all at the same time but it's usually ok.

This place and previous reviews really surprised me. I live less than a mile from this place and never went it for the obvious, small shopping center, empty parking lot etc. I stopped on a whim for lunch and was very surprised, it was actually pretty good! Yes, this is your standard fare China buffet type restaurant with steam tables... The food was made in very small batches and it was replaced often. Many Chicken dishes and the dumplings and green beans were excellent. This is not fine dining, but 6.75 for lunch, it can't be beat.

My sister and I grabbed lunch here when we went to see a movie next door. We ordered from the menu rather than getting the buffet. I can't say the food wasn't tasty, especially for how inexpensive it was. HOWEVER. I am a vegetarian. I ordered Ma Po Tofu from the vegetarian section of the menu. I was enjoying it thoroughly until I realized there was pork in the sauce. My sister didn't believe me at first until I pulled a piece out (it looked like pork) and gave it to her to eat (also tasted like pork and had the texture of pork.) Yeah. I wasn't impressed. We were in a hurry, though, and I'm not terribly preachy or obnoxious as my kind can be. I just kind of wanted to warn other people that this might happen. Next time they might not surprise someone quite as chill with meat and I doubt that'll go well.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
