I have been dying to try this place for quite some time now. I have been told by a few people how good the food is so I decided to stop in on a Friday night. It is a cute little restaurant set back from the road in a shopping plaza. My boyfriend and I took a seat and noticed immediately the waitress was running back and forth through the dinning room. It was extremely off putting, but we started looking through the menus and got ready to order. When the waitress came back to our table, she did not ask but demanded to know what we were ordering. When we asked for something that was actually a lunch item, she practically screamed at us and again demanded we order something else. We ordered and she grabbed the menus from us and took off. Again, very off putting and extremely impolite. Our food was brought to us in a very timely manner, but the check came way to early. The waitress actually brought our last plate of food over with the check! We weren't even given plates to eat off of, just the check. To say that this flabbergasted us is an understatement. The bill came to $22.10, a very reasonable price. I did still tip the waitress, but she will be the reason we do not go back to this establishment again. The food is the only reason I gave the Asian Palace more than one star. The Crab Rangoon's were fantastic and the small appeared to be a large. The egg fo young was also good and made in a style I have never had before. The pork fried rice and spring rolls turned out to be quite delicious as well! The food was overall tasty and the portion sizes were generous. We also enjoyed the tea! If not for the horrific service I would frequent this establishment. Unfortunately, I have had much better service at other Chinese Restaurants in the area and I simply cannot bring myself to return to a restaurant with mediocre service. Beware this establishment!

Travel for work they said, see different and interesting places. I feel like I signed up for the Army sometimes because the only place I have been sent to is the South Shore, MA. Looking for something quick and something I can eat in my hotel while continuing to work I come upon Asian Palace. Located in a strip mall in Raynham, MA on the outer highway away from the middle section of town it is by far one of the better "American-ized" Chinese food. The portion size is huge! The dinner should be split between two people, and you will you still have leftovers. I ordered the sweet and sour soup to start. It is good but has way too many mushrooms and tofu in the soup. The general tso chicken dinner is very good. Huge moist pieces of chicken and minimal breading, with some solid flavor and spice. The fried rice that it came had a good pork taste with minimal greasiness factor. The dinner specials also come with an appetizer choices too and I went with the Crab Rangoon. You could tell they had just cooked them and they had not sat long in the fryer. The filling tasted very fresh. Overall a great spot in Raytham. Very friendly people took my order and it was ready in less than 10-15 minutes. Highly recommend. But Asian Palace if you ever read this review, please make a website, and place your menu on it and pay google to be found easier. You need to have a web presence in today's world!

I have been a customer of Asian Palace ever since it opened several years ago. I am always satisfied with every meal I have ordered there. Some dishes I would recommend are the general gau's chicken and the chicken chow mein. Their appetizers are pretty good as well. I usually get chicken wings, crab ragoons, or beef teriyaki. The family that owns the restaurant are great people - very personable and will ensure that you leave satisfied. From looking at past reviews, I noticed that some customers had a problem with one of their waitresses. She is gone now and clearly wasn't a fit to work there. That being said, Asian Palace deserves to be rated 5 stars for being the hidden gem in Raynham!

Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. That about sums it up. The beef and chicken was super tough. Most of the chicken was covered in some sort of disgusting dough, like a corn dog. The egg rolls contained some sort of red-colored meat, most definitely artificially colored. Nothing came with rice. When I order something like sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken, I expect rice to come with it. Nope. And this food chock full of MSG. Had the shakes like crazy after eating. Would not recommend this place to anyone, ever.

Having heard how good the food was here, we have tried twice to order take out. Once we went to the restaurant to order take out, where we were greeted by a waitress who was running around crazy saying how busy she was. We looked around and saw two tables occupied in the whole restaurant. The waitress then came over and told us we could NOT order take out it was too busy. We asked how long a take out order would be, and she replied she wasn't taking any more orders. We were puzzled and frustrated so we just left. The next time we tried to order take out from home. We were coming to pick up the order. The lady who answered the phone stated that she was too busy and they were no longer taking orders. We asked if we could just order rice.....again NO. I wonder if the owners know that they have obviously hired some incompetent worker. The time we did see her, she was crazy, running around yelling she was so busy, she had the erratic actions of someone who may have been on some sort of medication. Too bad we didn't actually get to taste the food. That waitress/hostess definitely needs to go.

I work in Raynham so this is my Chinese food fix on a weekly basis. For the lunch you really cannot beat the price and volume of food....easily enough for two meal. This is one of the more consistent place. Mainly probably due to one chef. I have yet to be disappointed. Their boneless ribs are damn good. Very often I'd get takeout after my own meal since kids love them. Best hidden gem in the Raynham area.

The best chinese in the area! I've been to almost every chinese place in raynham and taunton... And asian palace is my favorite! I do agree with other reviewers that sometimes they are a little understaffed, but they have the best food. Always really tasty, never too greasy, and I never feel sick after! I have noticed many chinese places use far too much msg. They always use white meat chicken, and my food has always been fresh! Plus the owner is very sweet! She has greeted my family many times. My go to chinese restaurant, very fair prices too! Try the sesame chicken and crab Rangoon

Best Chinese food in the Raynham / Taunton area. My family and I have been ordering from here since I was a child. The food is always fresh and hot. The portion sizes are large for your money. They have amazing crab ran goons and their boneless spare ribs are great as well. The only thing recently I wasn't very fond of was their beef teriyaki!

Ordered takeout on a quiet monday nite. The bored look of the teenager behind the counter playing on his laptop lowered my hopes but then an owner emerged from the kitchen with my heavy bag of food. Got it to my destination and was mildly surprised that everything was fresh, hot and delish. Crab Rangoons were a standout.. Would def order take out from here again.

My wife, daughter, and I absolutely love Asian Palace! The service is friendly and very attentive. The time from sit to serve is very short, and the food is excellent. The portions are generous enough to feed you at least twice! I highly recommend the General Gau's Chicken, or the Chicken w/ Broccoli, and you absolutely must have the Peking Ravioli (Dumplings). We prefer them pan fried.

Best Chinese food around. I have been a loyal customer for over 7 years now. Sesame Chicken is excellent as is any of their rice selection and their chow mein prepared Chicago style is a must. Also, they offer a great deal for catering options

Went to dinner friday at the Mitchell Club in Middleboro, Mass just off of Rt. 28 the entire menu was Seafood, and it was excellent, if you enjoy fried clams without the sand you have to experience the Mitchell Club, large room, much like a Cafeteria, with a Bar (alcohol) and Sald Bar, I was told that the menu revolves, some weeks Prime Rib, Steaks etc. the portions are huge and the food cooked to your order, five star taste but no putting on the airs, dress casual in loose fitting pants (chuckle)

For one I am not into Chinese food really but I caved in and decided to get some take away from here. I thought the food would be like when it was seasons palace which was pretty good. After eating this food I was sick. It's not the worst but I have a feeling they used MSG because I got sick. The people in there are very nice I must say.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
