1) They buy expensive coffee from Blue Bottle, but have no idea how make espresso properly. 2) If you buy old bread, they will blame the bakery and relinquish themselves of any responsibility. Bad practices all the way around, both food wise and customer service wise.

So many great fresh baked good choices lovely blueberry cheesecake bars, blueberry scones and great coffee. Haven't tried the sandwiches but they look yummy

Totally uninterested in people, period. I seemed to be getting in the owner (or manager's) way as I was checking the petite and tasteful establishment - quite lovely. But service is as ho-hum as a couple of others... I asked when the croissants were made and after a pause, she said "this morning"... well, did the defrost the dough and bake them in the morning? Because my croissant was bone dry (and those of us who make croissants know what that meant) and didn't have distinctive "death by butter" croissant flavor. Their cute little ham and cheese quiche was overly salted. And the chocolate chip cookie, not something to celebrate. All and all, I wanted to love the place, but when pretty things don't taste like they look, and service is less than memorable, I give it a pass...

Best coffee in town. Banana bread is excellent and sandwiches are good and fresh. But service is indifferent and nowhere to sit comfortably. Best if you want to order to go.

Absolutely miserable excuse for a cafe. I visited on a warm Sunday morning and it was totally empty, I mean no counter person, a couple things in a display case, it looked like a set from a movie. I should have turned around but I persisted. After ringing the bell 4 or 5 times I was greeted by a very busy and distraught employee who traded me a stale bagel, rock hard cream cheese, and some orange juice for 9 bucks. Absolutely terrible experience and a blight in a town of great breakfasts.

Found it on a morning stroll. Excellent service. The coffee was delicious, the muffin yummy (blueberry), my daughter loved the chocolate croissant. The seating outside was a perfect spot to take a moment and appreciate what a fabulous town Osterville is. Looking forward to returning to try one of the espresso concoctions!

Went here around 11am on a Saturday morning. All pastries were fresh and great. They had some other food that looked great as well. The service was not great, as they seemed understaffed and were unfriendly.
