Classic mom and pop shop. Great food and run by great people. You'll only have the same experience over and over. Great food and everything is made fresh daily!! Great Italian food!

The absolute best subs I have ever had!! Very friendly staff and freshly made subs in front of you. All toppings are shaved thin and done at the time of order. Absolutely recommend Vincent's !!!!

Best subs going! This place is a hidden gem. I've been going there for years and never disappointed. From the fresh baked breads, to the homemade meatballs. You can't go wrong, the only thing is get there early. Because when its sold out, its sold out. They make fabulous meals there every morning. The chicken Marsala and saltumboca are great. My favorite is the Italian sub, with the roasted eggplant.

I don't know how I didn't know about this place for so long. You won't find a better sandwich or meal for miles! I highly recommend their grilled eggplant!

I often hear suburbanites complain that the quality of the food experience outside the city is disappointing and often that's true. Fortunately for lovers of Italian food and deli who live in the vicinity of Norwood, there's Vincent's Touch of Italian. The cold cuts are all top notch as good as anything available in Boston's North End. The variety of fresh baked Italian breads are crusty golden perfection. Best of all are Vincent's home cooked hot dishes which are as good as anything my Italian Grandma made and she was a great cook! I'm not kidding. I was so impressed with this place after several lunch visits that when I had my 50th birthday party, I asked Vincent to cater the food. I had 45 friends and family- many of them Italian food experts- rave about the food. Honestly, this is as good as it gets. Enjoy!

Here you will find not only an Italian sub shop, but also an Italian take out experience. no delivery, just take out and when they are out of something, they are out period for the day, nothing is left over from the previous day. cold cuts are all top shelf, natural casing salami, imported prosciutto from Italy etc... Now for the dishes, hand pounded chicken breasts which are turned into the best chix parm around. Dishes like veal w/peas, veal Ala vincenzo, w/fresh herbs in a lite wine sauce. If your in that neck of the woods i suggest a stop into Vincents, but early b4 the stuffs all gone!!!! Oh i failed to mention this, but if you order a sub and want mayo on it, he's kind of like the soup nazi and will tell u to scr**

As a Norwood native I can tell you that Vincent's is by far the best sub around. When we moved last year ( omg I know, I didn't want to be a townie like my parents and everyone else I know) I searched high and low, far and wide for a sub that could compete with a Vincent's sub. I still can't find a place. From the fresh chicken cutlets to the best hard roll ever, each sub freshly sliced to order. The imported cold cuts are superior. When I am back home visiting I always grab a sub .

Best chicken parm around. Homemade cutlets all sorts of Italian food. Believe it or not, this was my first time in. As long as they are open, I will never go to a Greek sub shop again. If you are looking for a specialty Italian pasta, they probably have it there.

I came here after a wedding and I was starving. I noticed there was this store and knew right away that this was a Ma & Pa kind of restaurant. I came in and I ordered a sopresatta sub. I left and went to eat it inside my car. I devoured the whole sub within minutes and I must admit, it was the best sub I've ever had in my life. I even came back to order another one. Oh Vincent, why do you have to be located in Norwood. I'll be back one day for that sub again, oh so delicious.

I only in the last year discovered Vincent's and love the change of pace from the typical corner pizza/sub shop. -Great authentic Italian food. My favorite is the veal parm sub. You can only get it on friday's but thats what makes it so special. Really GRADE A quality veal, can't get that anywhere else.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
