My husband and I were recently married, and we used Catering by Domenic and Anthony for our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and seated dinner reception. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this catering company. From the first meeting, through the planning, to a beautifully executed event, D&A were top notch. Throughout the process, my husband and I received such individualized service that we almost felt as though we were their only clients (which is certainly not the case)! The "day-of" wedding coordinating service was undoubtedly invaluable. The cocktail and dinner service staff was gracious and professional. D&A worked with us to create a custom food menu with a Cajun twist, and we have heard nothing but rave reviews of the cuisine from our friends and family. Above all, D&A did it all with a smile and made sure our day went off without a hitch! We whole-heartedly recommend D&A, and hope to use them again for upcoming events.

I have attended multiple D&A events, and can't say enough good things about them! The event coordinators have an attention to detail that make every party unique; the staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable ; and the food ranges from classic to eclectic and is always amazing. More often than not, I leave the event wishing I had the guts to skip at least *some* of the appetizers, but I digress...

We used D&A for our wedding reception and were duly impressed. Overwhelmed by the extreme expense of weddings? Wishing you could build a menu that reflects your personality? D&A does a great job at understanding your needs and budget, and building a menu that hits the nail right on the head. Our guests still rave about the food, and I rave about not having to sell any major organs to pay for it.

These guys catered the lawn event at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum this past weekend. Wow, so bad. -One person tending the customers made for a line that was far too long, she was leaving the front and going back to the grill to get orders one at a time. Nothing was prepared or ready to serve at noon (lunch time) except for a few black hotdogs in the steam table. -The burgers tasted like lighter fluid, probably becuase they dumped 3 full bags of fresh, black charcoal on the grill AS they were cooking burgers and dogs. -The cheese on my burger was thrown on the bun, under the burger after it had come off the grill. Unmelted, cold cheese thrown under the burger as an afterthought does not make for a good cheesburger. It is a lazy and poor way of preparing food. -The bun was stale. -At noon breakfast was left out in the uncovered steam tables in front of everyone in line, needless to say, covered in flies. I was not the only one. Everyone was in disbelief. People were laughing at the fact that if you ordered a burger the woman would run 25 feet in back to the grill and only bring one buger back instead of an entire tray. She did this as I sat at the table for almost every order. Inefficiency at its best. As I sat and ate the chips, three people sat down next to me and called the 800 # on the side of the catering truck to complain. The phone # was disconnected by the way. One guy said "I am glad they put their name on the truck, now I know who NOT to hire for my daughter's wedding in the spring."

Our wedding hasn't gone down yet, but already I'm impressed with the quality of Domenic & Anthony's catering. After calling and speaking with Mariska, one of their wedding coordinators, on the phone, Russ and I were invited to there tasting in Norwood. Not knowing what to expect, Russ and I accepted and went on Wednesday to check out what they had to offer. I was expecting a few people -- maybe a kitchen and some plates, instead I arrived to find Champagne with Strawberries, Wine, beer, and two beautiful tables set. We sat down and enjoyed passed hors devours, white glove service, not one but three plated dinners and it was all extraordinarily good. I really recommend the braised mini lamb shank, Andouille Sausage puff pastry, Blue Cheese & Pear puff pastry and some truly extraordinary plated dinners. The owner was extremely friendly and has been in business for 33 years. If you like upscale comfort foods and classic flavors with a twist, check them out. After the tasting, we decided go with Domenic & Anthony. I'm SUPER excited. I will let you know how the wedding goes and update my review.

We definitely lucked out with Domenic & Anthony's Catering. The boy and I were searching for a place to hold an engagement party with family and close friends. After going back and forth about the various options and not being stuck on any one place, I somehow stumbled upon the Summer House in Quincy. The only problem was there was only one caterer we could use. Domenic & Anthony. Boo! Ok, it turned out to be the total opposite of boo. We ended up googling them both here and on chowhound and saw nothing but positive reviews so we decided to just go with Summer House/Domenic & Anthony. We worked with Tom, who was really cool about all the dietary restrictions we had (and we had many), and helped us work out a menu that was both dairy- and seafood-free. What a success! Everyone loved the food, and a couple of people even asked who our caterer was. Both the boy and I were also really happy with the food, when we did get a chance to eat. Not only that, but the staff was really professional, and helped move things along. At one point, pretty much everyone was done eating, and although we had the desserts originally scheduled to come out at a certain time, some people had asked about that, and they came up to us and gave us suggestions of what we can do, like moving up the time. Very professional in every way.

Lots of love for Domenic and Anthony! My husband and I got married this past Saturday at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society at Elm Bank in Wellesley, MA, and chose Domenic and Anthony from their preferred caterer list. And we're glad we did! Meg was an absolute super star when it came to planning our big day. She helped us put together a stellar buffet menu while keeping costs down (as down as it can be for a 130-person guest list). She made sure that we were taken care of during the cocktail hour, bringing water, alcoholic beverages and appetizers to the wedding party in between poses. She promptly responded to my panicked text messages the morning of the ceremony. She even fluffed out my train before I walked down the aisle. Now that is service! We received lots of compliments on the food - especially the venetian dessert table! Service was good, as far as I could tell. The one misstep was our final check - make sure you make it out to "Off the Vine" rather than Domenic and Anthony. We learned our lesson the hard just two days before the wedding and had to drop off a replacement check.
