I stopped eating beef....kinda. But when I get a craving, I love to get a small roast beef extra rare! it melts in my mouth and who can resist their buttery bun, mmmmm. Love that it's drive-thru, but also tons of parking! By the way, you don't have to order a whole thing of fries, you can ask for a side, it's cheaper!

Basically very good fast food. The roast beef sandwich (which they were supposedly famous for) was fresh and not over cooked (moist, tender and still pink). The decor is great. It appears to be panels from an old time merry go round.

Recently my husband and I ventured out to Kelley's as I just wanted fried seafood. Staff was extremely polite and fast. We did take out but we had to wait for the prep so loved looking at the fish tank - it made the wait go faster. Food - onion rings were real onions and it doesn't get better than that - it has been a long time since I had a good onion ring. Fish it was good. I know how expensive it has gotten but I wish there had been more :( Overall, a great experience for us.

Went through the drive through and was wicked disappointed to discover after we drove away that the Roast Beef Sandwiches we ordered didn't have the sauce on it at all even after I asked for it. So...just dry roast beef and two buns... blah We also asked for salt, pepper & ketchup to be put in the bag and they didn't put that in there either. Plain unsalted french fries aren't how we normally eat them. It isn't easy to turn around and go back to get the stuff they forgot once you get on Rt. 9 If you go through the drive through you need to open all the bags and containers to make sure everything is there before you drive off. I won't use the drive through again...it was an expensive disappointment. I got 2 # ones and a claim Chowder. I spent $30.00

My boyfriend and I love this location! The drive up the hill is a little confusing but the staff is cool, the service is always quick, they have those awesome soda machines that dispense like 100 different things which is key for my picky self, And the fish tank is awesome. A for cleanliness also, maybe an A-. But for a family place it's definitely pretty well maintained. I've never been in during a rush but every experience I've had out of maybe 7 or 8 by now has been positive. I'll have to come back and edit next time bc I don't know his name but there's a guy that recognizes us when we come in and makes sure we are taken care of, he's just delightful. I love Kelly's!

Eh, I guess I wasn't really overly impressed by this place. I feel as though Kelly's was hyped up so much I was so excited to try it. We had stopped by after seeing a movie at AMC. We ordered a small roast beef sandwich meal and added a large roast beef sandwich on the side. I couldn't even finish the small roast beef sandwich. Too much meat! I guess I just assumed there would be lettuce, or something else in the sandwich (I don't eat roast beef very often, can you tell?). Maybe I'm just not a roast beef person.

I have been a here quite a bit over the years. Some days it's pretty good, some days not so good. Today, a Monday at 1:30 in the afternoon, I ordered then tried to find a table to sit at. Spent 5 minutes looking for a clean table with a clean seat. Every table in the place (and it's quite big) was either dirty, or had a dirty seat, or the floor under the table was dirty. What a mess! And the place was almost empty! The floors were greasy and slippery, too. My roast beef sandwich was cold, and the roll was a bit on the stale side. These guys need to get their shit together before I go back there. Now I feel kinda sick...

What has happened to this place. On Sep 6, 2015, we got an order to go.I ordered clam and scallop combo. It was not fresh. Clams and scallops were definitely reheated and had consistency of rubber. My wife ordered shrimp which were also overcooked and rubbery. The large roast beef was not so large and the bun was stale. I guess the service is quick because the food sits all day and gets reheated. Total cost: $62 of crap. Never again

A bit more expensive for the amount and quality of food. It's one of my mom's favorite places so we took her there as a treat. I like the dining area and watching the large fish swim around the center saltwater tank. It has a nice open clean space.

You hear so much about this Kelly's and it's the place to go to for awesome roast beef sandwiches. Now I been to the one in Revere which we all know is the original one. Heck I remember when they were just roast beef, fries and grilled cheeses before they expanded there menu. I feel they have fallen in taste and product and it's not as Well as I remember before. Now this location is nice and my son loved the fish tank in the middle of the room. I feel they have become over priced I mean a cup of chowder was 5.95 for a cup. Now the good thing was it had lots of clams and potatoes. But the broth for white was not thick at all. The roast beef I ordered ended up totalling 13 Plus after adding all the condiments which included lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, cheese. Cheese I understand but lettuce and tomato come on. Service was OK plenty of people to wait on u and turn around was fast and quick. The cheese fries were good almost wish they has chili on them. It's an OK place not what I remember and nothing I feel to rush out for.

I like Kelly's but the prices keep getting higher and there is a lot of competition in this area. Not always consistent at this location. They do need to do better. Just my review.I like to get the product I pay for and some places just live off the name. This place is in the middle.

I ordered a veggie wrap, a small drink and a clam chowder. "Cup or bowl?" "Bowl," I shrugged. "Eighteen dollars." What?? The wrap was seven bucks, how was the rest eleven dollars? I was too embarrassed by not having checked the price on a bowl of chowder ($8?!) so I paid the $18 and took a seat. They brought the food, which was flavorless and forgettable. My eight dollar soup tasted like it was out of a two dollar can. I won't be back.

This Kelly's is part of the Jordan's furniture surreal metaplex. They have a cool fish tank and a carousel horse, both of which I enjoyed, but the interior is very much a fast food style restaurant. My favorite Kelly's is in Revere where you can take your lobster roll right over to a picnic table by the beach. Anyway, we had finished up at Jordan's and weren't hungry, but I wasn't about to pass up a lobster roll so I ordered two with the buns on the side so they wouldn't get soggy. I think this is actually the way to go because I had no desire to linger there and with the lobster meat in a takeout container, I think I got an ample portion. They included the traditional accoutrements, a pickle spear and Utz potato chips. They forgot the rolls, but no biggie, I think I confused them enough with my order. Nice that they are providing jobs for young people but a bit more training is in order. Lobster rolls were great on the second day. Carpe pisces.

Love it here or any of their locations! I think you might want to stick with the Roast Beef or Seafood. Always awesome!

I always come here for the lobster roll. It's a bit pricey, but the lobster is really piled high on the roll. I haven't had much chance to try the other meals here since I always come with a mission of getting their lobster rolls. The fries and onion rings are both ok... Nothing special. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for that amazing lobster roll outside of Boston and Maine

I love Kelly's. I mean my first ice cream on the planet was at a Kelly's. This Kelly's is not great... like "I may never go there again" not great... The reason? Attitude. It was my birthday and all I wanted was 2 Kelly's choclate frappe's. One for me and one for my husband. Very simple. I drove up to the drive-thru, simply and nicely asked for 2 frappes and got "is that it?" but with a coating of sarcasm and attitude that doesn't translate over a yelp review. Drove up to receive my frappes and it took them a good 10 minutes to put them together. I was getting weird stares and avoidance from the girl who I was supposed to pay and she never apologize for the time it took to make the frappes. By the time they came through the drive through window - there was more attitude. Do you not make frappe's in the winter? If so, take it off the menu! It's not like I asked for a huge platter of fish sandwiches, each custom made. I've worked in the food industry, I know sometimes it sucks and so I'm a big tipper and overly nice because I know it's not always the person who's handing you the foods fault. But this - uncalled for. I simply ordered 2 frappes, not 2 frappes with a side of major attitude, unfavorable stares and who knows what else. Honestly - after thinking through and writing this review, I'll probably never go to this Kelly's again. Sad - but true.

What happened? This Kellys was good. I grabbed a large RB sandwich from the drive thru on my way into Boston. I open the sandwich to apply some bbq sauce and the beef was overcooked and very dry ..the edges of the meat looked like it was sitting out for hours. Yuck! If I were not for the fact that I was on the highway, I would have gone back for a refund.

This place sucks I got the bbq pulled pork sandwich and it barely had any sauce it was a very dark brown color and looked like it was put in a blender do not order this it tastes horrid

Love this place, cheeseburger, fries and a fountain drink for $8, that's a great deal. They have the best buns for your burger and grilled onions to throw on top. Plenty of other meals at great prices and you get a good amount of food, going here you clearly have to try the roast beef too, great portion. Quick service and friendly staff

Haven't been to Kelly's in years and the food is still the same EXCELLENT!!! Grew up in boston and the only Kelly's at the time was at Revere Beach ( those were the days). Got a large rare roast beef with mayo and american cheese. The Roast Beef was the same as it was when I was a kid, tender, delicious, perfect. If you are ever in the framingham / natick area you have to try Kelly's Roast Beef. You will not be disappointed. PS. If you order a large make sure your hungry!!!

  • Roger T.

Great seafood. Never had bad luck with this restaurant whether it be @ the original Revere location or Natick location. Fried seafood is second to none, decent Reuben and plenty of other options. Moderately priced.

  • Alyssa W.

Ok, so for a place that has been around forever (in terms of when it was established in Revere) I'd hope that they'd atleast have their roast beef down. Yea...not so much. The nasty fake butter used to toast the bun, GROSS. Dry roast beef...no thanks. I wish I had better things to say, but I don't. The place is always grungy and it's always a pain walking around to find a table that isnt greasy or a chair that isnt gross.

We sometimes eat here when going to the Jordan's Imax. They are justly famous for their melt in your mouth roast beef sandwich's but their lobster and crab roll sandwich's are also very good at a pretty reasonable price. Fries, onion rings, etc. all good. Casual. I wouldn't go out of my way unless I had a roast beef craving, but a great place to combine with a movie.

Fried clams!!!!!!! As good as it gets. Chowder was kinda thin though but loaded with clams and nicely seasoned

It's a special occasion when I go to Kelly's. It's the stressful day when I need comfort food. I love Kelly's. Who doesn't? This location is, as Yelp says, A-ok. Nothing really awesome about it (I should state, I've never been inside, just used the drive through.) But there's nothing wrong with it either. I find the drive-thru to be slow at times, but it's because the food is usually made to order, which is nice. The people working there are always pretty chipper. I should also note that I've once had a roast beef sandwich here and have never tried the seafood. I know, i know, I shouldn't even be writing a review about Kelly's without being a superfan of seafood and roast beef! It's like writing a review of a pool without having swam in it! But, I am addicted to their chicken fingers and honey mustard sauce. Tip: Get the kid's meal! It's way cheaper than the full plate, which just give you chicken fingers and you get fries and a drink. Can't beat it!

Some locals were raving about this place and said I had to give it a shot. I was not enamored by the location being attached to a furniture store. I walked in and was impressed by the decor. It's better decorated and maintained than most fast food restaurants, but maintains the order at the counter and cannot be considered as a sit down restaurant. I was told to get a roast beef sandwich. Perhaps I am not much of a roast beef connoisseur, but I was not impressed. The clam chowder was also recommended as a true New England chowder. It was very good. I think I personally prefer the thicker variety, but I would recommend the chowder. The sandwich was of average price but the chowder was much more expensive than I'd have expected for the quantity. The service was poor. The employees were not friendly and looked as though they wanted to be elsewhere or like waiting on me was a chore. Overall I'm not impressed and would not recommend going here.

I like their food, I have eaten at both Natick and Revere. However, every time I have been to the Natick store it's a bad experience. They are painfully slow making the food, and very disorganized. I went there today and watched them screw up 3 separate orders, leave customers standing around trying to order, and people just standing waiting for food. It wouldn't bee so bad if there were not 12 people working back there. It seemed like nobody had a defined task on what they were supposed to be doing. They need to fix this issue.

I go here almost every day for lunch, for their grill cheese, chicken wings and frappe always satisfying a little pricey for every day lunch but it never fails

Worst clam chowder I've ever tried. I ordered a small cup because I was craving clam chowder. As I was joyfully opening the container, & then sticking my spoon getting ready to devour this whole thing, all I scooped up was a water like texture instead of the thick creamy like texture we're all used to. I didn't even bother to taste it & just threw it away. Wasn't too happy with my lunch that afternoon. I was too upset to bring this to the attention of the employees. My wife who accompanied me ordered a chicken ceaser salad which she told me that she didn't like the taste of the chicken. She said it seemed undercooked as well. The fish platter & the curly fries i ate were good.

Listen up people you go here and get fried rubbery clams yeah its gonna be a letdown. Lobster roll here is great and they put in ome those drink machines with 5674832 options of drink making. Be aggressive though and try not to get stuck behind a family who's trying to let their kid "be independent". The line can back up like these fools never seen a glorified soda machine before..all in all I've always had a good experience here. The fishtank is nice to look at and yeah salt water IS hard to maintain.

    (3)
  • Amber C.

I dont eat the seafood but the roast beef and chicken tastes amazing. Everytime ive ever went the lines are long so have someone go pick a table lol. I like the giant fishtank there lol.

I used to think they had great food. I used to love their clams and onion rings, until I ate local in Hudson. Now we went back only to find the roast beef is super dry and needs a bucket of mustard or ketchup or mayo or something. The clams are expensive and really - eh. The onion rings are... frozen. Frozen... we were so disappointed... don't thing we will be back... Nice service, but the food just left me yearning for something else...

So we found this place looking for a furniture store and happened to park in front of the Kelly's. This was the wildest experience I have ever had. Roast beef and seafood inside of a furniture store with an IMAX inside of THAT. Only in New England I guess? :) Wonderful place. Been trying the lobster rolls everywhere I go, and I can say this was inexpensive (for a lobster roll) and generous (lots of meat). My wife got the roast beef, also wonderful. We will be back. Oh! They also have a nice cylinder saltwater tank. I am a big fish nut, which made the experience even better.

Went here for the first time with a group of friends not knowing what to think. I kinda felt like I was in line at the school cafeteria... But when we got our food... Everything was amazing. If you like fried food or roast beef you need to check this place out!

Busy weekend night but service still slow for one to go sandwich. Roast beef was good though missing some ordered toppings, but came with wilted lettuce and tomato. On the side were soggy fries and half battered onion rings. To top it off having to listen to a cook give a profanity ridden tirade at the front line manager with kids nearby capped it all off.

    (2)
  • Maly H.

I went here randomly. It wasn't the best idea. The food here is disappointing. I tried to add many things to the fish sandwich it still taste bad.

    (2)
  • Julissa C.

Food was just alright. Burgers were bland, but on good rolls. The crab roll was not good, but the fries were crispy and well seasoned. They had a neat soda machine that the kids liked. It was super expensive for the food. Beware that the prices listed are for individual sandwiches (even though they ask you what side and drink you want) that's extra money and adds up quickly.

Wow, grew up around here and it wasn't til I moved away that I found Kellys. Now everytime I go home, I try to stop here. What makes Kelly's so awesome is how tender the beef is. It does melt in your mouth! I don't really like roast beef at all but Kelly's has proven my taste buds wrong.

Omg this was my first time there! Was awesome deff worth the 45 min drive the roast beef is amazing the fries not so much but deff worth it!

Always good food. I love the chili and pastrami sandwich is my favorite. My wife loves the roast beef. The other day we had a special order which had a sandwich with half pastrami and half roast beef with no spicy mustard on white bread for my wife and mine was half a reuben and the other half was a pastrami. The employee Emily was fantastic and made our special order herself so that it would be perfect. A wonderful experience with exceptional service. Thank you.

I made a large order over the phone for work, paying with a corporate card over the phone before I got there. When I arrived they had almost everything ready and were incredibly helpful in getting everything to my car. However they did charge my card again (which they quickly voided). The guy bringing a few of the bags out was sweet enough to brush away a spider on my car door that startled me. I hate spiders so they get MAJOR points for going above and beyond in that instance. I actually didn't eat any of the food because it was such a busy day but it looked delicious so I will have to go back and try it during a less hectic time. I've heard wonderful things about it.

  • Vivian C.

I like hot crispy fries. These weren't. The fried oyster plate had a decent pile of oysters sitting on top of a small pile of blah fries and topped with four so-so onion rings. The roast beef sandwich was tender enough and piled high enough, but I wish I had known to ask for toppings to make it more of a sandwich.

    (2)
  • D J.

Over cooked clams, very greased French fries and onion rings. Apathetic staff, witness the manager delay a patrons food because she rebuffed his advances. And why is this place always so friggin dirty? Appears to be an unwritten policy that "you the guest" are expected to bus the previous patrons table before you sit down.

I consider this place a hidden gem. Introduced to it just this past summer despite living in the area for a few years. Absolutely delicious roast beef sandwiches and the fries are pretty good too. Service is friendly and fast and prices are not so bad from what I can tell. The menu is loaded with options other than roast beef yet I always pick that - so juicy and delicious and the toppings available are right up my alley (lettuce, raw onion, horseradish sauce, cheese, to name a few). Definitely worth the climb up the hill!

Located on the east side of Jordan's Furniture, Kelly's makes an awesome roast beef sandwich made the way you like it with your choice of fixings. Beware, the serving size of the french fries is HUGH. Worth fighting the Framing ham shopping traffic, even if your not shopping

The boyfriend and I stopped here on Friday night after shopping at about 10pm. It's kind of a weird sad place because it's a relic of a more prosperous time. The giant family restaurant attached to a movie theatre/IMAX. To a Southern Californian the decor is hideous and outdated with it's carousel horses theme. I definitely would eat inside the restaurant again because the seats are uncomfortable plastic and I would imagine during peak hours it's super noisy. I had the cheeseburger and half fries and half onion rings. The cheeseburger is exactly what a cheeseburger should be in a restaurant, better than a fast food restaurant and reasonably priced. They will put anything you want on it and the bun is tasty. The fries and onion rings are excellent. The Boyfriend had the famous roast beef and he loved it with a small bag of fries. The best part about this place is they have a Drive Thru window! I will definitely be back for to go food and to try the Fried Scallop and Clam Strips plate which looked amazing.

I take rides up on Under Price Way (laughable) to atop Mount Jordan's specifically for Kelly's Roast Beef. I must say the Reubens here are pretty good and the fried seafood is decent too. There are colorful carousel horses in the dining area. However, I'm in agreement with the other Yelpers that Kelly's is on the pricier side for what you get. Recently, I spent close to $13 on lunch (sandwich, fries, & drink) and it's not even a full service restaurant with waitstaff. Definitely not the "Under Price Way" to have lunch!!

Sadness. More sadness now more than ever. Maybe it's because I'm preggers and food is just SO much more important than it used to be. This review may get lengthy but I need to be honest and let you know how much this has ruined my morning. I woke up and I wanted a lobster roll from Kelly's. Being a long time patron of Kelly's Roast Beef in Allston, MA - I didn't think that the food or service would be any different. Let me also point out that Christmas 2011 is in just a few days and this new Kelly's is located in the middle of Shopping Central USA. I went in and ordered a lobster roll for myself - and a chicken sandwich for the baby - and by baby I mean for me for later. I was confused by the cashier who told me the lobster roll comes with roast beef. I wasn't clear at first but he meant that there was a Roast Beef sandwhich along with it. Um - a glorious lobster roll with the meat from 2 - 1lb lobsters (8oz) AND basically a FREE roast beef sandwich? Yes please! My food came in a good amount of time. I got to the car, drove to another shop to grab conditioner, opened the lid (styrofoam to go wear by the way - Boston Kelly's uses plastic) and saw the disgrace that was my lobster roll. It was pathetic. I was INSTANTLY disappointed. If you go to the Kelly's web site and look at the lobster roll - it's EXACTLY what you get any ANY Boston area Kelly's. This thing was tragic. I've had better experiences at the OBGYN than I did opening that lid. There is no way this burnt roll contained 8oz of glorious lobster. The worst part was that it didn't taste fresh at all. I paid $16.95 for a flaccid, old, burnt lobster roll. I can feel myself spiraling into a hormonal rage as I continue to write this. The chicken sandwich was decent. The fries and the onion rings were overcooked and dry. The additional roast beef sandwich looks haggard and inedible. If this were any other place I'd chalk it up to a bad eatery - but knowing how good the Kelly's food can be, it just upsets me that is was such a disappointment. I've had better food at McDonald's. For everyone's sake, Kelly's Roast Beef of Framingham, please get your act together. As for the Jordan's Furniture that Kelly's is attached to... please consider calling a replacement. This is no way to represent the Kelly's name.

I've visited this Kelly's several times, usually after a movie at the IMax at Jordan's. Most recently, 3 of us came here. The roast beef sandwiches are good, but all the toppings are a la carte and the cashiers don't always ask if you want toppings. I know better now, but that is a common complaint on here that i've seen happen in the past. My sister ordered a turkey club, while my friend ordered a burger. I've had french fries and onion rings in the past. The food here is generally very good, greasy of course ,but delicious. The atmosophere is bright but kind of weird, I have to say. A lot of kids and its semi service restaurant - they will deliver the food to you, but not the straws or ketchup. Hmmm?! But I do recommend it here, its always delicious. The prices are a bit high, so if you're looking for an alternative to fast food, its better quality, but a bit more pricey than that too.

I used to be a huge Kelly's fan. Growing up, a special treat for the family was to get in the car, drive to Revere, and go to Kelly's. When Kelly's opened in Framingham, I knew it wouldn't be the same but had fond enough memories that I wanted to try it. I have been there 2 times. I don't think I will go again. Both times I had a huge craving for a lobster roll. Both times I was disappointed. Sadly, they use frozen lobster meat and it tastes it! And it's skimpy, too. Also, it had no flavor. It needed the salt from the potato chips served with it (which ordinarily I don't eat, but I needed the salt.) At their prices (I think it was about 14.99), with the volume they do, and their reputation at stake, you'd think they would use fresh lobster meat and really stuff the roll. But they don't. I won't be back! In contrast, I was pleasantly surprised at the lobster roll I had at the 99. Truly fresh lobster meat, not a lot of mayo, and a perfectly grilled roll.

ROAST BEEF , YES!!! SEAFOOD, NEVER AGAIN! Love their Roast Beef and also the Pastrami sandwich's which are consistently DEEEEELLLLICCCIOUS! BUT this time I thought I would try a seafood combo plate and picked scallops and fried clams. I was so looking forward to this as some years past I had thier clams at the first location in Revere and they were great. YIKES! the scallops were odd when you bite past the breading there was not a juicyness but water that dripped out, to be clear I expected a little steam this was actual water as if injected between the scallop and coating. The clams were tasteless in both the coating and the clams had barely and flavor, fresh made at the restaurant? I DO NOT think so! Didn't taste it and had all the qualities of previous frozen, no flavor and the odd textures. two thumbs down on the seafood! BUT TWO THUMBS UP on the Roast beef and the Pastrami sandwich's!

I've been going to Kelly's in Natick for 3+ years always had a great experience until one manager named Chris did not want to take in the order that I asked for . He rudely told me he was going to charge me the price for a chicken sandwich when I asked for the bread and chicken to be separate . Left very upset and made me feel uncomfortable since I'm a regular costumer that spends money here . He showed me that he prefers to lose a costumer over a few dollars. It is clear that loyal customers aren't appreciated or satisfied when it comes to Chris's costumer service.

We've been going to this Kelly's for a while and it just seems to keep slipping downhill. It seems to get worse every time we go, yet it also seems to get more expensive (didn't the roast beef used to come with chips??). They almost always screw up our order somehow. On our last visit the roast beef was cold and our mac and cheese kids meal looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. I walked out pretty disappointed, and my wife and I agreed that was probably our last visit to Kelly's. In my opinion the only redeeming menu item is their chowder. I absolutely love their chowder but the rest of the menu I could do without.

Went there with my daughter and grandchildren last week. We had a lobster roll, large roast beef, and pastrami sandwiches. Also snacked on some clams and some scallops. Kids had hamburgers. Looked sort of plain, but the kids didn't complain. Been going to Kelly's for 40 years...first at Revere Beach. Always good.

The girl at the counter was nice enough. The food LOOKED good enough. Taste=zero Neither of us finished our meals, and we are basically high school football players when it come to appetite. It was that bad. I felt sick most of the evening as well. After we ate we decided that we would never eat at Kellys again... ever.

There is only so much you can do with certain basic foods - fry-em, roast-em, boil-em, etc., and there are few places that perform these basics with as much style, consistency and flavor as Kelly's. For example their fried clam and scallops plates beat many of the area's fancy seafood locations, and frankly, their lobster roll is among the best I've had anywhere. Their roast beef appears to exist only as beautiful, rare cuts, piled high on a roll. They are very flexible on mixing and matching sides, so those who don't want a mountain of undercooked fries can ask for onion rings instead. Most often I visit the location in Natick, near Jordan's Furniture, but the original location in Revere, where you can walk across the street and enjoy your meal on Revere Beach, under the jets approaching Logan, is very nice, save for the seagulls and their droppings. Also of note is their clam chowder, made with minced clams galore, and Natick's marvelous soft drink dispenser that delivers a zillion variations on Coke brand products. Not a good place to visit all the time for caloric impact, but a great place to visit for a special treat the whole family will enjoy.

Better than a McDonald's, Wendy's or BK. Food is usually hot when you get it and is very tasty. If you eat in now, they give you a number and serve you your food when it's ready. They also now have the cool soda machines where you can make a plethora of soda/juice combinations. I like the hamburgers and roast beef, fries are always good and onion rings are hit or miss.

OK, so... I couldn't stop thinking about the Buffalo Chicken wrap I had from here for two days. No joke - TWO DAYS. My friend dragged me here, as we were in the area. She got the Roast Beef, as it was the only friggin' thing this girl was talking about. I, not so much a fan of Roast Beef opted to try the wrap. I asked the girl if they put croutons in their wrap, she said "no." I asked if they could, she said "Dunno, I'll ask." Hey, thanks for asking. We ordered cheese fries to split btw because what better thing to do on a random Saturday than to randomly gorge. About 10min later, the food comes out. I try the cheese fries - that were SMOTHERED in cheese and topped with bacon bits - GLORIOUS. And then that's when it happened - my first bite of the wrap. And it had croutons in it. And it was everything you could ever ask of a Buffalo Chicken wrap. The chicken was perfectly fried and covered in just enough Buffalo sauce, there wasn't too much bleu cheese to make the wrap soggy, and a perfect amount of croutons for that right crunch! Oh man, this thing is gonna be the death of me.

Took wife and kids to Kelly's for fried clams, fried scallops, and the usual kids menu fares for dinner on a Saturday evening. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The place is pretty clean. The round fish tank was a hit with the kids. We didn't have their namesake roast beef because my wife wanted fried clams and I had an amazing roast beef sandwich from Nick's (Beverley) for lunch. The fried clams are not the best I have tasted. They were a bit dry and not enough belly. It tasted more like fried dough. The scallops were fresh and tasty. The Kids meals Mac n Cheese was passable. It was Krafts'. The Chicken fingers were surprisingly good. Overall, an enjoyable meal. May come back and try their roast beef next time. Not sure if I would order the fried clams again. I have had much better at Woods and Lobster Hut.

Kelly's is an institution in Boston, i guess just as taxes and potholes are too. doesn't mean i want anything to do with all three of them. its average, pricey, the sauce is fair and the roast beef is better then arby's if that says anything..just nothing i would need to go back to anytime soon. now the other kelly's i would go to if i was trolling around and smashed and spoke with a wicket reverian accent, but alas i don't, so no need to go to that one either. go once, call it a day

I have only one thing to write about regarding Kelly's Roast Beef ... FRIED CLAMS My anticipation has been building for these chewy, gritty, deep fried creatures of the not-so-deep for years now, and finally, I was lucky enough to get my hands on them for free! Thanks Al! The fried clam plate was presented on a styrofoam plate piled high along with fries and onion rings. The fries were not so impressive and the onion rings were so-so, but man those clams. I frigin love fried clams. It cost a heavy penny, approx $17, but completely worth it. I would next time just order a side of clams (small and large, small for $15). ATMOSPHERE The restaurant itself is more like a fast food place, but since it's in the same building as gargantuan Jordan's it has ultra high ceilings, an over-the-top (but pretty cool) fish tank where the fish look happy, and a carousel theme? But...what are you gonna do?

The roast beef is second to none. Forget about the fried food it was so bland it was like eating fried cardboard.

Good stuff. Fresh fish. Good rings. Skip the fries. Not quite revere, but it's okay.

Best lobster roll ever! It comes overflowing with the meat of two 1-pound lobsters - no fillers. And it comes on a nice, buttery split-top bun. The only bummer is that it comes with a bag of chips instead of fries. The other sandwiches are OK, but your best bet is the lobster roll.

I've been to Kelly's twice now and my only regret was having a first, not-so-good experience. Without going into details when I ordered, the lazy dude at the register never asked me about how I wanted my roast beef cooked and what kind of toppings I could have gotten with it so I ended up with a really rare, roast beef sandwich which featured no toppings what so ever. Although the meat tasted great, it was too plain for one to really enjoy. Thankfully, I tried it again and asked for some sauce and tomato and had a much more enjoyable experience the second time around. The roast beef they have is out of this world and the prices, although a little high on some items are well worth a trip up that hill.

to sum it up, it's over-priced, bland tasting, fast-food-trying-to-pass-as-a-restaurant, seafood. Shared the fish plate with a friend. True, there was plenty for both of us, but plenty of what? Soggy fried and onion rings paired with the blandest fish I have every had. A previous review talked about how you have to coat this stuff with salt and tartar sauce to make it palatable, and that's more than true. And it wasn't like it was cheap. We each shelled out about $10 for the fish and a salad. I would expect this quality at mcdonalds or a fast food joint, but this place is charging way more. As for the setting, for all intensive purposes it's a fast food place. You order at a counter, you get your food on disposable plastic, paper, and styrofoam plates and trays, and the only thing un-fast foodish about it is that a "waiter" will bring the food you bought at the counter to your table, thereby adding $2 to your bill because you feel obligated to tip, even though you're placing your own order and clearing your own table. Conclusion: get food elsewhere before seeing a movie at the awesome IMAX theater. It'll double the price of your evening out and it's completely not worth it.

I was utterly disappointed with Kelly's. I think it was just this location because I'm never really this sad. I got the fried clams and it was just warm, not really hot and the fries were kind of mushy and not crisp and I got two onion rings on top that were pretty pathetic. I was just so disappointed. It wasn't cheap. For $17, I would expecting something half decent, but I didn't seem to get it. I don't hate all Kelly's. I just felt like this one didn't stand up to the correct standards.

It took me forever to actually try here despite living super close by. I was scoping furniture for our new place at Jordan's and stopped in for lunch. I had the chicken salad roll, which was amazing. The chicken salad had chives in it, which was new to me. It was so tasty! A little on the pricey side, but a big portion and worth it. The onion rings were a bit disappointing, nothing special and lacking in a flavor. Service was fast and friendly. They were also at the Phantom Gourmet Hot Dog Safari and were HANDS DOWN the best hot dog of the day. The roll was grilled with butter and FANTASTIC. I wish I'd had one for lunch the day I was there! I would love to go back and try the roast beef since it's supposed to be so good.

This particular Kelly's needs to be re-located. West of the pike just will not ever grasp the North shore roast beef sandwich. After reading some other reviews, apparently they aren't getting the fried goods either. Which sucks. Because if you are going to IMAX or Jordan's you could have a great lunch. I feel like even if they swapped this location to Reading it might help, and brought Fuddrucker's here. Been twice, and had luke warm meat and a pre-heated roll that is now stale. Twice ordered a large beef 3 way to get lettuce tomato and mayo. Enough said on that. Fool me twice shame on me.

After seeing some negative posts - I have to say that some of them are spot on. The seating is horrible - part of the reason we usually do takeout. Their famous roast beef sandwiches aren't very good. The seafood and other sandwiches (reuben and pastrami) are very good. The onion rings are exactly how they should be made - one of the few places that make really good ones.

  • Kathleen H.

Got a lobster roll and onion rings yesterday. Service was pretty good. Lobster roll was very good but the meal was brought down by my side order of..........onion rings. Horrible, in my humble opinion. Way too much breading and pretty greasy. I really wanted a nice, not too greasy onion ring but these were real duds. I like the onion rings at Wahlburgers where they seem to use thinner onions and breading. I should have got the Utz chips they offer with the roll instead of the poor excuse for onion rings they serve.

Kelly's is kelly's. The food tastes pretty good, nothing amazing. The roast beef sandwich is filling but i never feel great after it. im not a roast beef connoisseur but my boyfriend says the roast beef is chewy, and he is a beef connoisseur. i just taste beef. its the go-to place to eat when your late to the jordan's imax theater and is always welcome in a rush. ps there fried clams are pretty much ALL bellies. ehhh

Tried to roast beef sandwich before i went into the furniture show to watch the mardi gras show. The sandwich was pretty good. I just had a Carngie sandwich in NY a week prior, so I guess it heavily effected my taste. Overall, the food was decent for a fast food joint.

After having gone to Kelly's Revere Beach location, this sit-down, fully-decorated, clean Kelly's in Natick just seems too...cookie-cutter. We were here to grab a bite before watching an IMAX movie in the same complex (what a strange combo...). We ordered fried clams, a crab roll and a small roast beef sandwich. The clams were pretty fantastic, and the fries and onion rings it came with were yummy. Didn't get to try the crab roll or roast beef sandwich, but my friends were pretty pleased with what they got. I love Kelly's at Revere, and I can't imagine how or why the quality of the food would be affected. I didn't get to try the lobster roll and clam chowder here like I did at Revere (I know I'm losing major "useful" points right now~), but I imagine that they might be of the same quality, but the experience would be completely different. All in all, I think the Revere location is much, much better. Open earlier and later, it's on the beach, it's the original location -- how can you compete with that??

Fried CLAAAAAAMSSSS HOLLA AT YO' BOYYYYYY. I know it's called Kelly's Roast Beef, but the reason to go to Kelly's is for their delish Fried Clam Plate. Like Shaina G. wrote, this is the reason to go to Kelly's, even if you don't like roast beef! I'm vegetarian, but I would eat the fried clams here if I went back after my diet changed to that of the organic cow. They are big, juicy clams with huge brains and bubble bodies that make you want to live in the sea and become an octopus so you can eat them all day. It's a little pricey, but it's a casual spot where you can get some fried clams that don't taste like someone just got them from Costco. They also have AWESOME fish tanks in here! Not fish tanks where you choose your victim like a Chinese restaurant, but big aquariums with beautiful fish that are fun to look at. It's a little tough to get up here since it's way up on the hill, but the clams need you to try to get to their oversized fried, heart attack enducing bodies.

This was my first experience at the bizarre furniture/IMAX/dining megaplex... um... is it cause I'm Californian? Cause I don't get it... nothing says futon like fried clams and Blue Brothers Performance art? Oh, what a great movie, hey let me pick up that dinette set on my way out? Should I take my roast beef and check out how it would really feel to eat this in front of my maybe new entertainment center? Anywhoo, so we went to try Kelly's. The roast beef was actually really good and tender, although shouldn't it have a topping? But the onion rings, way gross (nar nar even). It was the dryest onion ring, like it was just breaded in sawdust and thrown in a deep fryer. I would recommend Kelly's if you find yourself on one of those all day furniture shopping sprees, and your poor butt just can't make it to the car because you've spent 5 hrs trying out every recliner in the store. But don't go out of your way.

Yum! Lobster rolls! This is definitely the thing to get here. Big chunks of tender moist lobster, mixed with just a little mayonnaise, and finely chopped celery. The parts of the lobster is varied too - you get some claw, tail, and legs. All this meat is stuffed into a buttered toasted thick slice of bread (to make a shape of a hot dog bun). They must have some special shaped toaster. It comes with a dill pickle, and a bag of chips. A simple and yet decadent meal ($16.95 plus tax). On another note, we also got the fish and chips, which while passable wasn't special, and the fries weren't memorable. Kind of like the atmosphere. Kelly's reminds me of Long John Silvers in some fast food way. However, I will be going back for the delighfully simple and delicious lobster roll.

If you know how to order and don't mind dropping a few bucks on fast food lunch, you absolutely can't go wrong here. The lobster roll is the best kept secret out there, the roast beef is phenomenal, and the chowder is chock full o' goodness. Just make sure you order it rare or you run the risk of getting some tasteless tire scraps.

DAMMIT KELLY'S!!! I swear, multitasking is NOT your bag. Every time I go in here, or ANY other Kelly's the same thing happens. They can't make a sandwich AND get my fries at the same time. So the sandwich gets made and sits there. I look at it cooling down and getting tough, and then 15 minutes later someone saunters over with my fries. . . gee, thanks guys, exactly what I wanted - room temperature roast beef, that's getting tougher by the second. And what sucks even MORE is that you leave my sandwich on the counter behind you, not somewhere I can get to it and eat it while it's warm. So I have to stand there staring at what I know is my sandwich for 15 minutes getting hungrier and hungrier, knowing that once I get it it's going to suck, but your employees are either too swamped with customers to get it for me, or it's so dead that everyone's walked away! Anyway, I'd go back I'd ask one of your apathetic staff to heat it up or get me a warm fresh one, but by the time you get back, my fries would be cold and nasty. Kelly's Roast beef, even with all your potential - YOU SUCK

Come on who doesn't love a Kelly's Roast Beef sammich? Extra rare, with fresh horseradish (not that creamy sauce garbage either) on that toasted buttered kaiser roll. NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM. What I really like about the chain is that you can tell them "I want mine to be as rare as possible please" and they'll do it as close as possible. You make special requests and they don't ever blink an eye about it. I'm really a huge fan of the chain, it's my favorite fast food chain by a mile. The chowder is awesome because it's in a thinner broth than traditional chowder, but it's still chock full of clams and potatoes, the onion rings are awesome, it's the best way to end a night after seeing an IMAX movie.

You can't truly appreciate Kelly's until you leave the area and are cut off from real roast beef sandwiches. I've yet to find anything similar in all my travels - and there have been many. So I'm giving it the fifth star for nostalgia's sake. You locals need to remember how lucky you are! ;-) The only problem with the Natick location is that since it's in Jordon's, it's romper room. The staff does a good job keeping up with cleaning the tables and floors, but lets face it, it's a daunting task. They're clearly outnumbered. But even still - I'd go to Chuck E Cheese's if they served these roast beef sandwiches. The staff behind the registers CAN leave much to be desired. First, It was a RARE occasion to find happy service employees in the Boston area (don't hate, it's the truth) and second, we're talking about high school kids for the most part. So set expectations accordingly. I've never had anything but roast beef - though hubby occasionally gets the lobster roll and he says it's good. An order of "small" fries comes in a paper bag - more than enough for your whole table. The large roast beef is big enough to share. And regardless of the sticky kids or apathetic employees - Kelly can cook some roast beef. I always get mine rare, with fresh horseradish, mayo, and pickles. Mmmmm....my mouth is watering.

I had the fish plate and was really unimpressed. The fish was so bland I had to coat with salt and tartar sauce and it was still bad. Wish I had some lemon with it. I did receive 2 large pieces however. Coated fried fish is usually tasty, even from bad restaurants. Fries are generic frozen. Onion rings were good however. I also had a taste a roast beef sandwich, it was also nothing special. They serve with some grated horseradish sauce. Prices are very reasonable and they have unsweeted ice tea. Very organized, clean and bright. Okay if you are at Jordan's / Imax and want something, but definitely not worth it if not in the area.

  • Matt L.

Okay well my other Kelly's exprience was terrible, this location is not as bad. The place is attached to a Jordan's furniture and is quite large. Although the seating is a little weird in here, the food was better and the customer service was very good. The roast beef was a bit more lean and tender and the fries were cooked just right. I don't think I would truck all he way to this location to get Kelly's though, seeing it is attached to Jordan's but if you are there to see an IMAX movie, why not.

If you love Roast Beef you will love Kelly's. They have a variety of items on their menu including a selection of seafood. The prices are a little high, but even at its busiest there are still places to sit. If I am in Natick and want Roast Beef this is where I'm going to go!

wow okay so many things - location & pricing: pretty decently priced, can't complain. location wise, its on top of a hill, looking all over natick, framingham etc. i was shell-shocked when i first walked into jordan's. i couldn't believe my eyes - this is NOT a furniture store. i mean come on, you have an entire walkway that's like bourbon st and leads you through all sorts of different "new orleans sites" that eventually lead up to kelly's or to the imax theater. IN A FURNITURE STORE. atmosphere: the actual interior of kelly's is pretty bland. apart from the huge circular column fish tank, there's old carousel horses that decorate what is a rather cafeteria-esque area. but it was clean, bright, and a big room. taste: my brother could NOT stop eating the roast beef. as many people have commented, the roast beef is something to look forward to. my brother n [at the time pregnant] sister in law shared 3 roast beef sandwiches. and a pastrami. which were apparently very good. the portions on the fries / onion rings are HUGE. beware! between the three of us and a toddler there was a lot of leftover fries n onion rings. i however was craving seafood and got the crab sandwich and promptly ended up with food poisoning. it's probably my fault that i ordered a seafood dish in a not-real restaurant. but still, i shouldn't be getting food poisoning from any eatery, even if it is "fast-food". service: pretty good service, all the workers seemed to work efficiently n all that jazz. they bring you your food but everything else is self-service (ketchup, napkins, etc)

I have heard so many good things about Kelly's, and I want to like them. I just didn't like this type of roast beef sandwich. I like my roast beef on the rarer side rather than grey. The fried clams were ok. but nothing special. The burger was decent, again, it was decent. If you were eating out of convenience, then this place is ok, but I would not make a special trip to go to Kelly's. Sorry.

Great onion rings. Kelly's gets 5 starts for the onion rings. Decent fried clams and seafood platter. I appreciate being able to watch jellyfish bob around while I eat.

It is as good as everyone raves. It is not gourmet but Kelly's makes one fine roast beef sandwich, piled high on a tasty roll (they serve it pretty rare, which is how it should be). Unless your splitting between two stick to the small, the large huge. The cheese fries are also tasty with plenty of that good fake cheese sauce and bacon on top (like I said not gourmet but hits the spot when your looking for that type of food. It is on the pricey side but if you split a large sandwich and some cheese fries it isn't too bad. Definitely try ithis place out if you like roast beef.

Awful. I know, it should be the same as the beach but awful. Disorganized set up and disinterested help, uncomfortable seating and really overpriced. I guess if you're going to an IMAX or buying a coach or something it's ok but even any of the other 5 million chains in the greater Framingham/Natick area will do you at least as good food and better price

Good fried clams year round, and the roast beef is tasty, too. Get the BBQ sauce on the side -- yum!! I love the story behind Kelly's and enjoy giving them our business. However, if you are looking for a quiet meal this is not the place. There is a giant fish tank in the middle of the restaurant (very cool, actually), and it seems to draw every bored child whose parents have dragged them in to Jordan's Furniture (it is directly connected to the restaurant). There is also a drivethru window here, though I'm not sure exactly why. I've used it once, but couldn't help but think it would have been quicker to just go in and order. Either way, it's a nice meal for an average price. A great change from the norm.

Quality Roast Beef sammy's from Kelly's. Yea, not cheap but the key thing here is that you can get frappes. I've never gotten anything but the roast beef, and only one time was I disappointed in my sandwich, when it was too rare and that made the bun mushy. The next time I went I happened to glance at the cash register and noticed you could order the meat rare, medium, and well, so now when I go I tell them I want it medium, no problems since then.

The 'ambiance' is all you pay for here. The roast beef is not phenominal by any stretch of the imagination, being 'tepid' compared to other places in temperature while the beef is low in quantity for the price. A 'large' is like half the size of a sandwich at Sam LaGrassa's ($2 more, but in downtown Boston). In texture, the beef is fine, but it seems to lack any phenominal flavoring to draw you in. The pricing of the seafood is similar to that of Captain Marden's or Harry's that it is sandwiched between, but nowhere near either of the two in quality, the clams rolls having a similar quality to what I grew up on at $.85 lunches in an elementary school cafeteria. In addition, no choices for things like corn on the cob, rice, green vegetables... just cole slaw, onion rings, and French fries. When you're already having fried food, don't some customers want something to sate their palate otherwise? In addition, orders take a fairly long time to fill. Last time I was here on a whim (last time that'll happen) just to see if their service/food has improved at all, it still took half an hour of pacing around that large open ordering area for a large roast beef sandwich after ordering when it wasn't busy on a Saturday afternoon. I'll pass and just come to the building to go to the IMAX... or if I ever get a house and decide to get a table like I saw in there from the Martha Stewart collection. It feels too much like a tourist trap... like ordering from a food stand at Fenway or the movie theater: you're a captive audience overpaying for the location you're at. You would think that at the turnover they get, the offerings would be better.

I work next door, and often grumble, "I guess I'll just have Kelly's." The food is decent (though I'm not a huge fan of seafood and MAN, you just can't miss it when people have just polished off a gigantic fried fish plate, then come check out a movie. Pee-yew.). The prices are a little too high, but they really do use pretty fresh ingredients, so I can't complain too much on that front. The "service," however, is fucking terrible. No one knows what the hell they're doing; employees will stand behind the counter moving food around or staring off into space while THRONGS of hungry people swarm the counter (couldn't you at least PRETEND to LOOK busy?) Everything -- even a turkey sandwich -- takes a fucking eternity because all of the employees need to re-learn basic motor skills or have their batteries recharged before they can pick up an order. They are lazy and rude and the ones with a work ethic never last. Like I said, I work next door, and we really pride ourselves on great customer service, and it is like an ice bath coming from there to this place. I've wanted to throttle nearly every employee at some point in time (Chris and Felipe, two of the managers, though, are decent guys). Be prepared to wait a long time with a dumbstruck look on your face. Chances are, the employee "helping" you has an identical expression.

Another good place to go with the family when all we want is a clean and informal place to dine with good quality food we came to know and expect. We enjoy their above average sized roast beef and reuben sandwiches, their piled high seafood platters, chicken fingers and now serving mac and cheese for the little tots. We recently stopped in for supper after having enjoyed Toy Story 3 at the IMAX Theater within the same Jordan's furniture complex. New for me is the 4-seafood platter with the whole belly clams, scallops, shrimp and fish, with fries and onion rings - very very good. New for the youngest kid is the mac and cheese with a side of fries and apple sauce. I also like the fact that the restaurant is always clean (they sanitize the tables and seats with the diluted ammonia) and they have a very large well kept acquarium full of beautiful salt water fish for people's enjoyment while we wait for our food to be prepared. And they also now bring your meal to your table once everybody's food is ready to be served.

It's good to see Kelly's branching out from their original location in Revere. (Which really isn't convenient to Metro West people like me) They've always been pricey but their fare's been remarkably consistent and portions are pretty darn big. I usually like to visit the Natick location because it's near the IMax and close to alot of shopping places that I like to visit. The booths are a little bit on the small side and the customer service isn't so hot but this spot's got a drive thru so swinging by on your way home from shopping isn't such a bad idea.

Got the fish plate and turkey club for $25.30. The turkey club was pretty good but the fish smelled like comet and had a bluish color, I tried a bite and nearly hurled. This place is horrible, save your cash and go somewhere else, the dumpster behind legals would be a better option.

Don't let the address fool you. Underprice Way does not reflect a bargain deal on the menu. $15 for a plate of fried clams?? I think I could do better at Legal's--where they use real silverware. However, I do think that they make a mean roast beef sanwich ($6), and the onion rings (which I never usually like) and fried scallops on a grilled roll ($10) were superior to any other I've ever had. The secret is in the extra crispy batter that keeps the insides tender! You do have to bus your own tables, but at least the establishment is clean and the atmosphere is step up from McD's. Yes, I do like the carousel themed decor. Bathrooms are also cleaner than you would expect, so I was pleasantly surprised. Please watch out for the tots though, as the place is overrun with little people under 4 feet tall....The cyclindrical tropical fish tank does provide at least 5 minutes of amusement though. Bottom line: it's a good place to grab a snack before/after a movie at Jordan's IMAX.

Ironically, I've never ordered the famous roast beef here. I'm a fan of fried seafood, thus, I'm there either for the fried clams or the fried butterfly shrimp. The clams can sometimes taste a little weird *too much of that taste-of-the-sea if you know what i mean* when it's not in season. The butterfly shrimp is my fav tho. Yes, it may look like what you can get at the frozen food isle @ the market, but they make it iso damn good here...nice n crispy, none of that beer batter. Alas...do get the hot dog! Yes, the hot dog, served on a New England style roll grilled with butter on both sides. Heart attack? Worth it. There's also a location on Revere Beach, but I can never find my way there on my own. It opens late, so that's perfect for emergency post midnight munchies.

It is a little out of the way for us, but we were at Jordan's, so we had a reason to stop in for the first time in over a year. I got the "large" roast beef sandwich.....I'd say it was more like "medium", but fairly priced for such a good sandwich. My wife had the fried fish and chips, which were very average. It is "whitefish" (pollack??), and not as good as the haddock sold by some of the competition. They may be working to keep the price down, because it was a large hunk of fish for a very reasonable price. I'd prefer to pay more for better fish.

My boyfriend & I go to Jordan's Furniture for 2 reasons, IMAX & Food. The one in Natick is for Kelly's Roast Beef.. and what else better to get then their roast beef sammich? So filling and big, it's really good... get their cheese fries (comes with bacon bits!!!) and the boyfriend always gets the lobster roll. Pricey, small but yummy and filling!

The double cheeseburger with everything on it is the best deal going. Ok. maybe hold the relish. But it's a meal and a half - don't even need the fries.

to the below reviewer: don't u please dare suggest they relocate to north-shore!!! this is the only kelly's accessible to peeps in metrowest and southshore! hell i don't have time to trek all the way to everett or revere beach to grab their lobster roll, which oh btw is simply the best i've had in boston. true, everything else i've tried here has sucked. i hate their clam chowder, their salad's boring, fried clams mediocre (i'm not a roast beef person). but their lobster rolls are the only reason i come here, and this place deserves 4-stars even if everything else sucked on their menu. let's start with their roll (bread): buttered and toasted to perfect texture. then jampacked with a heap of juicy succulent lobster meats. just the right amount of mayo, which is to say very little mayo. and only scant, yet effective, amounts of diced celery. the quality and quantity is very consistent here.

No complaints here!We started with very good service and we ended with very good food. The onion rings were cooked to perfection, the scallops were buttery, juicy and also perfectly golden brown! My sons roast beef sandwich was piled high with rare but not too rare beef.My clams were a little petite, but nonetheless delicious. We drove 50 miles round trip for this Saturday night dinner and we will do it again!

Before I moved here, I was told this was one of the best things about living in Boston. After visiting the bizarro world that is Jordan's Furniture/IMAX, we headed to Kelly's. We smelled like we were deep fried by the time we left, and while the portions were pretty big, the roast beef is way too rare for my taste. I'm thinking Arby's!

Not the cheapest joint in town, but defintely the best roast beef sandwich in the Metrowest. The chowder and fried seafood isn't bad either.

Cost us $30 for a dinner for 2 adults and 1 child. I had the reuben sandwich which was very greasy. The thousand island dressing came on the side, in a sealed container.

I give Kelly's two stars because the food is decent. I have yet to try the seafood, but I hear it's good. The roast beef is just perfect...tender, rare slices of roast beef on a warm bun (I like it with mayo, tomato and onion). The rating would be higher if the service wasn't so horrendous. Its not that people are mean, but just completely incompetent. They have ample employees to handle the large crowds, but they are all either 1) kids who have no idea where they are at any given time or 2) manager/adults who are gabbing with kitchen staff. On any given night you will see the same thing...two guys working extremely hard in the kitchen, one adult supervisor laughing it up with at least two or three employees, and 10 to 12 young kids standing around trying to do anything but look at customers. Regardless of the excellent quality of the roast beef, the service is so bad; it is worth finding another place to grab a bite.
