Stopped in with my family on a Monday night and the food and the service was great. Xavier was our server and he was awesome. All of the food was great! The service was a little slow but it was worth the wait! I would definitely recommend this Denny's.

When you find yourself at Denny's at 2:30 in the morning you need to set your expectations low. Most people should have already chosen sleep but you decided Denny's...you know what you are getting yourself into. All in all my experience was not too bad. The food was hot, the order was correct, and it tasted pretty good. The food came out quick and we were in and out of there in about 30 minutes. So no complaints here!

If I could give this place a half star, I wouldn't even give it that. This is by far the worst experience eating at a diner. Expect a 50 minute wait time for your food to arrive. Horrible service. Horrible food. Go to some other Denny's if you want to spare yourself the horror of an awful dining experience.

Had tried the Denny's in Danvers atrocious customer service so we tried this location. Our server Natalie was very sweet but there were only 2 servers on so it was chaotic. The food was really good but the place was filthy. Now dont get me wrong I'm not expecting 5 star ambiance lol but I do expect cleanliness. There was food everywhere crumbs all over the floor and none of the tables were wiped down not even ours. Good food just dont come in your Sunday best and bring hand sanitizer everything was sticky.

This is the worst Denny's I've been to BY far. I only give it three stars because the waitress was very polite and apologetic. We waited 45 minutes for food, and ended up taking it to go. As I'm eating my food, I realize I didn't get something I paid for (boo but okay it was $1), but I was very disappointed in the taste. The eggs were undercooked and the avocados were stale (I got the Cali Avocado Skillet). It was an overall bad experience. I could only say maybe we waited so long because it was a peak time? But idk that it was. Certainly won't be going back to find out if that's true or not.

Went here a few times. I have always receive decent food, at a great price from friendly and fast servers. The service is actually what prompted me to write a review. One time in particular it was amazing. The young man that served us could easily work at any 5 star restaurant with his level of professionalism. The food was good too. My husband and I were both impressed.

Ragweed Season. An autumn chill in the air. Everyone seems to have a cough today. Is it a sign of the apocalypse? Some new epidemic on the horizon? I wanted to visit the Shawsheen Diner, but for some reason it was dark and closed on a Monday morning. More strangeness. So I settled for Denny's. I knew to keep my expectations low. In every Denny's I have visited across the country, from Texas to New Jersey, San Francisco to Boston, I have never been surprised. When I walked in a young couple was engaged in some sort of unpleasantness at the cash register. Something about splitting the check, putting it on two cards. Two employees and a manager were battling with the credit card machine and customers simultaneously. It wasn't going well. I waited until someone noticed me. When she did, the waitress made a face as if to say "What? You can't find your own seat?" Maybe she was right. I could have found my own seat, one of any number of empty seats in the late morning downtime... Eventually someone came to take my order. I had a sausage slam and ice water. I don't recall much from the meal. My cough was vaguely worrying. The pancakes were good enough, the sausage links delivered the taste and experience of eating meat very believably. The eggs were not bad. I immersed myself in news via my imitation-smart-phone. I scrolled through the latest scandal and violence from around the world, looking for further signs of the apocalypse. The bright sunlight pouring into the nearly-empty dining room only made me feel heavier and more unwell. I got the check and made my way to the cash register. The manager was on the phone. He looked at me but did not hang up, continuing his conversation for 5 minutes while I waited. He was a good man, simple and perhaps senseless, but without malice. He nearly spilled a cup of coffee when the cash register drawer popped open as he charged my card. His innocent smile made me release the blame and resentment I had been harboring. Sometimes you just have to lower your expectations...

I went here and sat for 50 minutes for a couple of eggs. The coffee took about 35 minutes last time I will go here. Worst service ever.

We did not run into any of the horrible things in the other reviews. It was your typical Denny's experience. Food was good. Service was meh. Bathrooms were usable.

Mr. K has been talking about the Denny's "design your own omelette" advertisement, so we thought we'd try it out this morning (I wasn't anxious to go, but he really wanted to, so we went). On the ride home, he said, "Will never eat at Denny's again, unless it's the only restaurant remaining on earth and I'm starving." That says it all, but I'll go into more details. That omelette deal no longer exists. I ordered a 2-egg cheese and onion omelette with a biscuit and home fries, and he ordered a 3-egg -white omelette with assorted add-ons and wheat toast and a side of bacon. Both dishes came out cold, and we had to send them back. Waited for a while for them to be microwaved and Mr K was close to heading into the kitchen to retrieve them. Took a REALLY long time for the waitress to bring the dishes. We literally needed 15 napkins to blot off the grease from the home fries and bacon, and the omelettes were sliding around on the plate. No need to use so much oil. I ate about half of mine and am now not feeling so well. I have such a bad taste in my mouth that I needed a mint when I finished eating. The coffee wasn't so great, and it could have been hotter. We used to like Denny's, but this time, not so much. Mr K said to give it zero stars, but since I can't, a 1 star will have to do. And Mr. K said I shouldn't even bother writing a review. I did cuz it was my Yelp duty.

Can u give no stars? This place is filthy and disgusting! Food was inedible! Service was horrendous! Not kidding, 2 adults and 3 kids meals. One kid ate his food! Everything else was disgusting! Manager couldn't even run the cash register to get us out of there! It was the worst restaurant by far I have ever been too. Dennys should be disgraced that this place has their name/food on its building.

Stopped here late one night with a friend for a quick bite. We'd been to Denny's before but not this location. The place looked pretty clean and neat and we were quickly seated and the server was nice at first, explaining the specials and mentioning some of the newer choices on the menu. We both ordered small items and the server scowled at us and asked is that all we're going to get and became very irritated at us. The food took a long time for what it was and it wasn't good. She asked us 3 separate times if that was all we were getting. We were friendly towards her the whole time but she treated us like we were scum. We also noticed other staff complaining about customers after they would leave. Very rude.

Well, waited for over an hour for food and check. Which wouldn't have been bad if there wasn't only 6 tables. There was a large group that showed up that slowed down the service, which is understandable, however our food came out partially hot and partially cold. Not lukewarm, but cold. The waitress seemed annoyed that we wanted another cup of hot tea and coffee and didn't check on us, pretty much at all. The food was alright, but definitely not worth the hour long wait. I live down the street in North Andover but next time I go out for breakfast it will be to wilmington for the country chef or route 38 cafe, or even down the street slightly further for IHOP. Definitely not going here again. 2 for 2 at this place for bad service.
