As the only vegan in my family, and having young kids, it's often hard to find one place where we can all eat. Clearly fast-food burger chains are not an option at all, but that's ok because I'd rather my kids didn't eat at those places anyway. (Read the book "Fast Food Nation" if you're interested in all the negatives.) We like Panera because the kids will eat the turkey sandwich and yogurt, and also get them a fruit cup to share. Add to that a veggie sandwich for me, and something for my wife, and we still get out for less than $25. We actually plan our long road trips around Panera locations. :-) My only complaint is that at all of the locations, they're not great at getting special order sandwiches right. I order mine without cheese, and often have to bring it back. This location is much better than the one in Nashua though, who got it wrong more than half the time. (That rate suggests there is something deficient in their system, since I can't believe that all of their people ignore a sufficiently visible notation in the order screen.) This location is better than most for parking, since it's a huge lot.

I wish I read the reviews before ordering online. After having trouble even locating our order they forget the salad. Drive back, get home, and it's definitely not a full salad. The baguettes weren't as good as other locations, which is weird but they had almost an Italian bread type of texture.

You have a 50/50 chance of them being out of what you want in the evening. Very disappointed tonight. Requested a noodle bowl around 6:45 and was told they did not have any bowls. This happens more frequently than it should with other ingredients as well. I've almost given up on this place. The food is not bad when they have it but it's not worth the aggravation. Coffee is very inconsistent as well. Sometimes good and sometimes very bad. Also they will sometimes be out of coffee at 7:00 in the morning and no one will notice until you tell them. Not sure how that happens considering it is a breakfast place.

This location has too many teenagers working there that are snarky and just don't give a shit. Every single time we get take out, there is ALWAYS something missing. If there isn't a missing food item, then the order was wrong. Last night was an order with RAW chicken. I am done with this place and the snarky teenagers that work there. No restaurant should have so many teenagers as they just don't have the sense to care about customer satisfaction at all. So long Panera. I am done with your overpriced salads. And if I want your soups or Mac and cheese which I like. I can just go to Stop & Shop and get them there.

Slow. Delayed. Waiting. 3 words that instantly come to mind when I think of the Franklin Panera. Went in tonight (Tuesday) and not one person in line in front of me. Took over 10 minutes to wait for a salad and a panini and absolutely no acknowledgement of the wait by the staff there. Almost every time I go, they mess up my order too - chicken missing from a salad, I ask for bread on the side and get chips, etc. Terrible...just terrible.

Dear seventeen-year-old working at Panera: First let me congratulate you on getting your first job! Hooray, I'm sure you're parents are extremely proud of your ability to toss salads and make panini's. When I order a salad and ask you for a fork, its because I've picked of my tray of food, taken it back to my table and notice I'm fork-less. I know you're probably thinking, "Just eat it with your hand" YOU may do this, but I prefer to use a fork. I know I look like I'm sixteen and you may think were "buddies" but I'm actually twenty-five and don't need to get an attitude from you when I ask you for something you've forgotten to place on my tray. Also known as DOING YOUR JOB. Oh yeah and when I ask you, where I can pick up my coffee, no need to roll your eyes at me. A simple "over there or over here" will suffice. You may have had a tough day but there's no need to take it out on me, a paying customer. Sincerely, Isabel F.

I've never written a review on Yelp before, but after the experience I had today at this Panera, I HAD to. I had an order totaling over $30, and after an incident with my card being rejected, let me just say I have NEVER met a more sympathetic, kind, or caring staff/management. They were truly incredible, and every time I think about it, I'm in awe all over again. They deserve your business! Thanks so much, Panera!

Went here on a quick lunch break since I had been in a meeting all morning and had not realized that it was already past 2:00. Sheesh! Panera is Panera, either here in MA or CA. A stock full of options expansing sandwiches to salads and soups. I liked this location since it was right over the freeway and easy to get to. In addition, the staff there were extremely friendly and helpful. I ordered the turkey pesto focaccia and the clam chowder soup to go, all under $12.00. The sandwich was good, although a bit lacking in meat as well as the pesto (I am the condiment queen) and the chowder was lacking in salt, or my taste buds must have been dead. Otherwise, the meal was good and filled me immediately. I'd be back for seconds, on my next visit to MA :)

Busy Panera at the shops in Franklin. We went on a Saturday to pick up the business order that we had placed on Tuesday. It had a due date of 10:30 that morn...I had even spoken to Deb (one of the mgrs) while doing the order online, so she knew it was on its way. When we arrived, nothing was done...no sandwiches were made and the manager said that they had no pending orders in their e-mail. Good thing I printed the receipt & brought it with me. Eventually, she found it (mistakenly filed under the following day's orders) and she apologized profusely, promising to have it done in a 1/2 hour. Veronica was the manager who rallied her team together & we were walking out with 20 sandwiches, 4 salads, chips & assorted cookies 45 minutes later. Veronica was very nice and realized the mistake was theirs, it was tough to be angry with her. She made it happen & in result, even though it took longer for us to get, our employees were pleased with the luncheon. We'll go back again but I'll probably doubly make sure that our order's under the correct date prior to.

One of the best options available if you are catering a meeting. The sandwiches are always good and there is a significant variety to meet all tastes. Along with the excellent chips, large cookies and well made salad it makes for a very pleasant meeting lunch.

The store wasn't that busy but the kitchen was obviously in the weeds. Service was slow. Soup was cold and thick. The Sonoma chicken stew looked like puree'd baby food, flavor marginal, thick and cold. Turkey cranberry panini was lack luster. The bread is good but you need to pay attention to what goes in the middle of it. Soups have taken a nosedive from what they once were. You need some serious culinary attention. I've been a serious customer of yours in multiple states for years and you seem to be facing some serious food quality obstacles lately.
