I don't know how it is possible to make a pizza this bad but here we go. Cheese, not much of it. Sauce tasted sour and had chunks of hard dried up sauce in it. Vegetables tasted like chemicals. Crust was only OK, but I didn't come here to eat bread. I warned all my co-workers here on work travel for a month not to visit here.

Good ole Steve's. Falmouth's version of the "Steve's pizza" everywhere. The usual pizza, not gourmet, standard toppings and combinations, a little greasier then you'd like but cheap. They also have a the standard variety of subs, hot and cold, and some dinner combinations that include fish and chips. They redid the interior a few years back so it looks clean and nice. Best for take out though. Reminds of me of Cappy's in Waltham.

Hey so I've been here more then 20 times, working many jobs around the area will help increase the number. So for the most part I've gotten I've only ordered their large pizzas, and about 3-5 times I've gotten their subs. I've gotten more Philly steak subs and one I got their chicken parm, they are both good, but I would say the pizza is better. They have a large variety of chips, they also have cookies and brownies. It's a good place with a friendly reception, the employees that work here are very friendly and a nice place to have lunch, I just always come for pick up. Overall it's decent and worth going if your around town.

Our pizza was over cooked. The restroom had no soap which begs the question of how the servers clean after using it. They gave us a box for our leftover pizza and it had already been used as it had grease stains. Never again.

Good pizza. Simple pizza shop - nothing fancy. There doesn't seem to be much in the way of pizza in Falmouth so it's nice to see an affordable pizza option. We would go back.

I stand by my first review; since moving to Falmouth, this has become our go-to place for a casual dinner with the kids, or affordable pizza for take out. It doesn't hurt that I can walk here from home... still, they make a solid pizza, especially the meat lovers. I've also had the steak tip sub on a number of occasions, it's good. My wife knows one of the owners from high school, he's always friendly as are the rest of the staff members.

We were visiting Falmouth and wanted a regular pizza and sub. Found this place on Yelp and it was a good choice. You had to pay a delivery charge but the food came much faster than we were told...that's always a plus! Had a tuna sub and chicken parm sub. Both were really delicious. Pizza was a large linguica and green pepper...also awesome. Next time we visit, we will know a really good place for pizza, etc.

This place is the best. It's been around forever because they have consistently good quality and tasty food. Steak bombs are to die for, BLT's always have good bacon, pizza is so good too. I just plain like it. Keep up the good work.

Their pizza is delicious!! Highly recommended!! Very friendly staff. Efficiently run business. Clean and fun place for a casual meal. I get a small pizza about every time I pass through Falmouth.

The first few times I had Steve's pizza, I wasn't overly impressed. After living in Falmouth for 2 years, however, I've come to realize that Steve's is the closest thing to NY pizza around and, thus, it's my favorite by default. I think I like their calzones better than the pizza... try the chicken and broccoli calzone! Good for take out, reasonable prices, and they deliver.

I have been a fan of Steve's for years and just realized I've never written a review. For the most part, in fact until last week, I had never eaten in the restaurant. Speaking just of the take out and delivery the food can't be beaten last week a friend and I went in before a class. I recommended the Greek salad which I believe cannot be better. It did not disappoint. I had mine with steak tips which were delicious, she had the chicken and loved it. This is Falmouth's own hidden gem. Give the linguica and eggplant pizza a try. You'll be glad you did.

I stopped in with my wife tonight to get a couple of subs. Just like the rest of the restaurants and pizza shops on the Cape, there is NO customer service! I said how are you twice to the young girl at the cash register and she never once asked how we were or even said hi. Even the owner or who ever he was gave me and my wife a dirty look. We ordered a Tuna Fish sub and an eggplant parm sub. We sat towards the front of the restaurant waiting for them to make our subs. My wife noticed that the woman making our subs was NOT wearing gloves and kept putting her hands up to her mouth and then touching our food. I went up to complain, and the guy behind the counter basically told us we were wrong and argued with me the whole time. We ended up taking the food home. My tuna fish was awful, as it was low grade. My wife's sub was cold and the eggplant tasted disgusting. We ended up throwing it away......what a waste of money AND food!!! They use the frozen eggplant and no name Tuna Fish. Take your hard earned money and eat elsewhere as they ARE NOT careful when they make your food, cross contamination nightmare!!!

ICK! We JUST had a terrible encounter here. We come here every now and then- at least once every few months. This time, we ordered an Italian sub and without asking us, it was toasted. Gross. It also only had two other pieces of meat - poor quality- and cost ~$9. I could go to a Gourmet Bakery in Boston (Read Flour) and get a better meal for less. I have high standards being from NJ, Land of all Sicilans and my husband is from Staten Island, home of more italians, the world's best pizza and garlic knots. When I went to complain, I got terrible customer service. No one tried to accommodate me or offer to make me another sandwich without toasting it. When I go for a whole in the wall pizza, I want tasty decent maybe oily grub. But when I want an italian sub, I want a sub and when I want a panini, I want a panini. We've been here before and I thought it was okay but this is truly despicable.

Great subs. I got a toasted Italian and it was really good. I guess what you'd expect from your local sub shop with regulars coming in. I got it to go. It was way too hot in there. There was not one person eating in. 4 people came in to pick up to go orders. It's too bad because the place actually looks very clean, just too hot.

This weekend while visiting family in Falmouth we decided to stop in at Steve's Pizza to pick up some lunch. We ended up ordering steak and cheese as well as bbq chicken subs. The staff members in the restaurant were polite and the wait time was fairly short. When we got to the restaurant the foods was ready and we were in and out quickly. The steak and cheese was delicious, but the bbq chicken sandwich wasn't anything to write home about. The prices here were high and the bread was hard, but in the end the sandwiches weren't too bad. I think that the sandwiches would have been better if they used different bread. There are also some other sandwich shops in thearea that have lower prices but the service isn't as good. That being said, we enjoyed our lunch and most likely will be back in the future to try some of their pizza.

Perfect! Pizza was delicious. Ready when they said it would be (20 minutes even during peak time, peak season). Employees were kind and helpful.

Much as a I like Steve's, I'm afraid I won't order from them again. I didn't include some additional directions that I usually do (what the building looks like, the name of the place independent of the address) because they've been out here many times for me and many times for others. A new driver had trouble finding the place based on the address anyway, so the store called back and asked where I was. I gave the additional info, and the guy at Steve's swore at me before hanging up. Up until that point it had been a courteous and straightforward conversation, all of 15 seconds. I really don't know what set him off, but too bad he couldn't contain himself until the phone was on the hook, because I really liked Steve's food. The driver arrived promptly and seemed like a nice guy, so I was sorry to have to tell him that because of the treatment on the phone from the restaurant I would not accept delivery. If the manager wants to call me and assure me that they'll speak with the employee involved, I'm happy to reflect that in this post, but I still won't be buying any more food. A message telling me I "must pay for this food since it is perishable" (which is what I got) is not going to cut it. So this goes to a one star. Customer service is important, and I feel no need to spend $30/week with Steve's when there are similarly priced alternatives. Check the filtered section too, service seems like an ongoing problem. EDIT: I have slightly edited this in an attempt to get it past Yelp's content blocker. I don't know why, but they are filtering this and every other review that details the egregious service by Steve's staff.

A MUST if you're visiting Falmouth, They have a great menu with a variety of items ranging from salads to pizza to YUM! Steve's is open year round but is also great for those summer visitors that might be missing their local pizza joint back home.

Wandered in here for lunch Sunday afternoon and test drove a pie with linguica, spinach, onion and mushrooms. The crust was a step up from the British Beer Company, but pretty lame nonetheless: the inner half was soggy, outer half marginally better. Topping were of acceptable quality, but I'd have to agree with the other review that the thing needed a compress of napkins to soak up the grease before eating. Not so sure about the 'redone' interior. The place itself was pretty grimy with plastic booths, some smallish tv's showing hockey, and framed photos of Greece hanging askew on every wall. If you absolutely need a pizza, to go would be my advice. And, though I lack any empirical data, I'd warn against venturing into any of the seafood offerings.

Steve's is awful. Food is greasy and not great. I'm not going to stay it's awful, but there are better options in the area. One of the worst things is the service. I went there a few months back and we ordered a few subs and a couple of pizzas. They told me 20 minutes and when I got there, it was obvious that some of my order was never even started. I saw some of my items up on the oven keeping warm while they made the other pizza. They didn't even confess they forgot I had to ask if that was my pizza just going in. He said yes and handed me the stuff that was done. I asked him to return it to keep it warm! 20 minutes later, it was done. No apologizes or offer of a discount / free soda , etc. When we got back to the house, the food this time was AWFUL. The pizza was burnt and the subs were greasy and tasted like four day leftovers. We called to complain and asked for our money back and they refused. We told them the pizza was burnt on the bottom and the MANAGER said - and I quote - "What you want me to do, check everything that leaves the restaurant?" Steve's has lost our business based on the attitudes alone. And we are known in the community and will be sure to spread the word. Highly do not recommend this place.

I am from the NYC metro so I have had my fair share of good/bad/ugly pizza. Visited Falmouth area in July of 2011 and experienced Steve's by chance. Loved, loved, loved it...the crust was amazing. I was sorry that I was departing back home and could not come back the following day. Visited Falmouth again July 4th week, 2012. Just as I remembered it, the pizza was awesome. I left with a smile on my face as I was anticipating the pizza on my trek from Rockland, ME. On my last night in Falmouth I decided to go again, knowing that I would not have their pizza for another year. What a let down. Firstly, it took almost 1 hour to get our order. Then when the pizza finally did come out it was as if it came from somewhere else. The dough/crust was completely different. It went from delicious crispy thick crust to flat, floury somewhat burnt thin crust. One of the staff told me that they were 'rush' making the dough to keep up with the crowd. I believe it was their emergency stash, which was no match for their 'good' stuff. I'll still give it 3 stars since 2 out of 3 visits were great.
