Abner and I were in Fairhaven and decided to stop in. Abner got an ice cream, which he said was good, but for the price, he gets a lot more at other places. Also, he mentioned that the server handed him the cone with bare hands..no gloves. I got a lemon square from the bakery, which was delicious. The lemon was tart with a delicious, shortbread like crust at the bottom. The place seemed clean. There was a wide selection of candy too.

Every time someone comes to visit we bring them to Emma Jean's Cupcake Factory! Tons of fudge, candy, pretzels, cookies, and cupcakes to choose from! Also, the chocolate covered bacon is a must try.

Horrible service. Fruit flies in the cupcake display cases and in the ice cream parlor. Dirty tables. The ice cream is gummy and covered in ice crystals

This is kind of like a candy gymnasium. There's chocolates, penny candy, candy bars, cupcakes, coffee, ice cream and candy apples. They seem to be doing a good job with all of it. There's a very large selection of Jelly Belly candies. The cupcakes are large. They look very good. They also have some unique pastries like s'mores cheesecake, and they had cookie-dough wontons when I was there. But what I like most is the selection of hard-to-find, old-time candy bars.

They've got candy, chocolates, cookies, ice cream, cupcakes, wine, hot dogs and so much more. Seriously, it's like a maze. I'm not joking, I got lost...... The ice cream setup is recent so the girls working the counter weren't exactly sure of what they could and could not make so I just went with a couple scoops of ice cream. Eventually, they'll be making their own ice cream but right now they are bringing it in from a distributor. Either way, my Coffee-Oreo was delicious. They also have a walk-up window for takeout ice cream orders. We took a walk through the Cupcake Cafe and they do have gluten free options but all of the cupcakes were very brightly colored (i.e., fairly artificial looking) which makes me question that even though they are "homemade" are they any better for you than the chemical laden ones you buy in a box at the store? Jury's still out, I'll have to do my research. I will say that even though it's a bit overwhelming when you first walk in (so much stuff!) the execution of the branding, products and the display cases was very professional. They also had a sign suggesting you stop in for date night and get a cupcake and coffee and chat with your significant other in the Cupcake Cafe which I thought was a pretty great idea.

As soon as I walked in I reverted back into childhood where I wanted just about everything in there. Candy, Cookies, Chocolate, Ice Cream, Cupcakes, Nachos! We were in a kids wonderland....and a chocolate adult lovers wonderland. After walking around for a little while we for cupcakes. They were awesome. And the girls working were awesome too, patient and friendly. We ate our cupcakes in house with coffee and they were delish. We took some to go as well. I was really impressed with their sugar free chocolate selection, there was a huge case full. The other bonus was it was SUPER SUPER clean in there. The girls were in the middle of cleaning cases while we were in there. Good to see!

Just got back from Emma Jean's and boy was it a treat! I've known about it for a while now, but never am in the area. I made it a point to try the place out today after a mid-afternoon sweet craving. Walking in you are overwhelmed with all the candy choices. They have a large "penny candy" wall as well as cases of handmade truffles, fudges, etc. Walking down a corridor you are faced with signs of "ice cream" or "cupcakes" each with arrows pointing in the respective directions. We went for cupcakes. My sister decided on an Almond Joy cupcake and I got a Peanut Butter Chocolate cupcake. We both got a coffee as well. We ate them there and after discovering how delicious they were, decided to take some home for the family. We purchased a variety of sweet treats and can't wait to try them tonight. They also gave us samples of fudge to try and re-filled our coffees, although they said they don't normally do that. The decor is a little cutesy and definitely kid- oriented. They offer birthday parties for kids and do favors and gift baskets as gifts. I'll definitely be stopping by again for a sweet treat.
