I work right near this place, and I have a co-worker who buys two sandwiches from d'Angelo every day, one for lunch, and one for dinner, LOL. I decided I should really check it out! I just got a "Vermonter" steak and cheese for dinner and it was great! It had cheddar cheese and bacon in it, plus tomato and lettuce. Not only that, but it was a BOGO deal, so I got another cold cut sandwich to eat tomorrow. , all for under $7.00! Great deal. I ordered online, which was fast and easy, then my order was waiting for me when I came over to pick it up. The people behind the counter were very nice . I can see why my co-worker likes it!

I can't think of a single time they've gotten my order right. Maybe once. Slow, too expensive, mediocre quality. Perfect for the Galleria food court. Chipotle is right next to these guys. Use them. It's worth the extra dollar.

I have been here for food several times now over the last year . Not a bad place, just not fantastic. They did listen when I said no mayo. But, while their Lobster roll is good . I have had better, much better actually. I have had their Steak sandwich, which is like a Philly cheese steak except they put real cheese on it. Not the canned running cheese. Which is good ,because cheese from a can sort of freaks me out , you know. The Lobster Bisque was OK but, not fantastic. It is not my first choice of places to go. However, the food is fresh and it is quick. So there you go.

This place is pretty good in regards to service. I came for lunch so you know it was packed with people from the patrons to the people who work nearby. I got the pastrami and Swiss and it was really good. Wish the prices were a little cheaper.

D'Angelos is a basic sandwich place with two choices of meat and a bunch of topping assortments. You can make your own concoction, but unlike Subway, this location doesn't let you see all the choices before they go on. This is located in the food court at the Cambridgeside Galleria, and the line can get kind of weird. You order on the right side of the counter where the register and employee stand, and pick up food on the left, a concept that seemed to confuse a lot of people while I was standing there. It was a long wait for my sandwich, but that's probably because they only had two people in the whole place, one taking orders while the other did prep. I got the chicken teriyaki sandwich, which was quite good, but very very messy. No napkins made it sort of a drag, but I love their sandwiches so much, I can forgive it. If I lived closer, I would be a regular.

I generally try to avoid D'angelos if at all possible, since 95% of their menu is incredibly generic and unexciting, but I was in desperate need of alternate lunch options during the work week, so I finally caved in. What I did discover, though, is that the other 5% of the menu is pretty damned tasty. More specifically, the Thanksgiving Toasted sub is like taking a full spread of Thanksgiving staples (turkey, stuffing, cranberry, gravy) and cramming them onto a roll for optimal amounts of delicious with minimal effort. Upon first discovering this hidden treat, I probably had it for lunch for the rest of the week before i was too sick of cranberry sauce to even look at it. I've been tempted to try the lobster roll this week, but the ridiculous price has held me off so far. Also, keep in mind that, like all the other mall locations, this is rather popular with the office workers, so expect a 10-minute wait during lunch hours. Service also has it's ups and downs depending on who's working that day.
