Best take out place in Braintree. The early hours are a dissapointment. Good pizza, salads, subs and buffalo fingers. Over sized pies are good for parties. A few time I have called they have also been out of things. Wish they were open later because the other options in town are bleak.

Rosie's was good in the past. Not any more. Their food has gone down hill in both quality and quantity. Sad...

Favorite salads in Braintree, and the best Buffalo chicken... I buy the sauce by the bottle

I tried Rosie's for the first time yesterday at the pizza palooza in Braintree. I think they should've won. Their buffalo chicken pizza was delicious and so were the dessert cinnamon dough balls. So good! I'll def be ordering from here.

Went there for lunch today. Service was slow, even though there were no people eating in and no more than one or two people in line(and often none) or waiting for food. After around 20 minutes of waiting I checked in on the food to be given a gruff " We are working on it" (he didn't really seem interested). 5 or so minutes later food came out (Tuna club, chicken ceasar wrap and boneless wings). Boneless wings, came out BBQ when they were ordered Buffalo, this was fixed followed by more grumbling by the kitchen staff. The replacement Buffalo wings were out in less than 10 minutes. Food was OK, about what you expect from any pizza/sub place. It was really the fact that we had to wait 25 minutes for something that should have been 10, and the attitude of the staff that made it seem like I was crazy for asking " how is it going with the food?" (asked without attitude, though some irritation was no doubt apparent in my voice) Maybe they had a lot of phone in orders(certainly were not a lot of in person orders) or maybe it was just a bad day, maybe we ordered wrong(though the three of us remember Buffalo being ordered). Overall one staff member in particular seemed uninterested in having customers(where the grumbling came from). Slow service and OK food. I don't really have a reason to return and I am not sure that they care one way or the other. Food was a 3, speed or service knocks that down to a 2 and attitude leaves us with 1 star.

Absolutely off the charts!! One of the best food places around. From their signature Buffalo sauce to their Wraps. The Armando wrap is killer, spicy fries, fresh Green salads I just love Rosie's. Greg and his crew know how to do it right.

Purely a local hangout, Rosie's is a decent place for pizza (perhaps my favorite item here), subs (the steak and cheese and chicken parm are both good), and salads (though the Caesar salad can be a bit inconsistent). Their limited hours are a bit of a problem, especially compared with sub shops and pizza places in the area, but when they are open, I would say that they are definitely worth hitting if you happen to be in the area and need something quick.

I like the food here but I just can't get past the fact that they make your sub and work the cash register without changing their gloves. Gross

I heart Rosie's! This place rocks my world!!! I feel especially lucky during the summer months when it is too hot to cook anything, I walk down to Rosie's and the guys who work there make the most awesome Italian subs EVER. I also recommend the mushroom pizza or buffalo fingers - yumyumyum. I have also been known to grab a salad there but that is just not as fun. Rosie's is super close to Braintree High School so there are usually some high school students lingering or parents picking up a bite on their way home.. The parking lot is behind the building and you can usually get a spot no problem. I do not usually eat inside but there is a place to sit down if you choose.. also, there is a convenience store right next door.. grab your pizza or subs at Rosie's and run next door to pick up paper towels. This place is good, fast, friendly, and cheap! What more could you want?

"No sub for you!" - this place kind of has a Soup Nazi vibe but behind the gruff exterior the people are friendly. Just be ready to order fast and pay fast. The place serves decent sub sandwiches, pizza, salads and other food. It's not great food but it's okay for a sub shop. There are plenty of booths on both sides of the dining room. Place can fill up during lunch hour as it is popular with the local workers. Usually a group of Braintree HS students hanging out but not an obnoxious amount. I come here for italian subs or pizza.

Have had nothing but problems with the service. Too bad because the food is usually good minus the mistakes on our orders 90% of the time. Delivery takes well over an hour even though they tell you it will be on time. Honesty is the best policy but the attitude is that you are lucky to be able to purchase food from them rather than be appreciative of their customers. Too many other choices in the area that treat you right to ever go back there again.

Found Rosies one day just driving by top and from my son's Perochial School and decided to stop in and give it a try... The rest is History! Rosies is one of the best places that I've found in the Braintree Ma area! The pizza is AWESOME just as the Subs are! My little guy loves stopping in after school to get his pizza and Rootbeer! Rosies is a must try, you will not regret stopping in! The Owners ... Greg and his Brother alway go out of their way to make sure everything is as you ordered it. . Bottom line, Great food and even better people! Definately a MUST TRY!!!

Got 2 large pizzas last nite. First was the Philly cheese steak (shaved steak, roasted red peppers and a few onions). It was good- not amazing but good. The second was a large with chicken, eggplant, feta and garlic. It tasted good but was way too soggy. The pieces were falling apart while we tried to eat them. You definitely needed a plate and silverware. Overall the pizza was ok. Rosie's does help the Braintree little league baseball by selling them pizza at big discount for them to sell at games and make money for the league and fields.

The pizza is pretty average but the salads are a tasty surprise. The baby spinach salad topped with grilled buffalo chicken is delicious and the warm pita (more like baked pizza dough) that's served with it is an added bonus.

Is a must when in Braintree. Just had their special roast pork dinner with mashed and gravy with mixed veggies, Great! Only $7.95 and I could share it! (but didn't lol)

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
