This is one of those amazing dive bars. Hidden in the corner of Gretna. Is this bar that I was introduced to by a friend. It is the last option to go eat because it was a bar but since their hours are later than most it was the only place open. They are very well known for their Fried Buffalo Wings. I got to try it for the first time and I ordered two more. One to eat there and one to take home. It was that amazing. By far this place has Hooters running for the taste of wings without any sauce. I highly recommend this place for anyone interested in their burgers as well. IT WAS HUGE! Only foe $10 definitely worth the 20 minute wait as they prepared it fresh. And it appears like it's all beef no other stuff like some restaraunts. Flavorful and napkins will be needed! They also have about 4 pool tables so it's a nice atmosphere. With several options to choose from on their tap who wouldn't want to go to this place.

The whole place reeks of cigarettes. The drinks are strong and the servers are nice though. The DJ played some neat song mashups. If the smoke and odor doesn't bother you, it's a nice place to be.

Bring your ear plugs if you show up on a Wednesday. Karaoke was supposed to be over at 1:00am and look, it's 1:51 and it still sucks ass.

4 stars for the burgers, wraps and fries. Also for the very decent beer selection on tap. Has something for everyman and for the picky woman, they have Woodchuck (luv ya T!) Not for the "place" itself or atmosphere. They have pool tables and darts. TVs everywhere and lotsa seating besides the bar. Table service too. I come here with my in-laws mostly to grab some food and good beer and talk. Never been the kinda place I would come and hang out. Much better places for that. My reason is the same as AureLee P.'s comment. Sometimes the place can be full of douchebag types. Actually that reminds me of a few other D-bag bars on the 'Wank that I need to review.... I recommend trying though for the food, seriously good , even more so if your drunk and starving. Better than Taco Bell...well sometimes. Sometimes you gotta have a mexi-melt, but this is still good!

This is one of the only places I know of on the westbank that has not only excellent wings but also ice cold Stella on tap!!!! the bar tenders are always easy to get along with the servers are always friendly and the beer is ice cold. I couldn't guess how long I have been coming here and I could guess how many times I will return to old faithful!!!

First dining experience since landing in New Orleans. Great service. The alligator Po' boy, and the shrimp Po' boy were both delicious. The music was good and not too loud. The atmosphere was fun and casual. Hope to eat here again before we leave.

I'm gonna be frank. The only real reason to ever go to Vinnie's is if you want a burger, because they are actually really good. I'd say it's probably a step up from usual bar food quality. The burgers are always really big and cooked to order. They actually serve a few different sandwiches, but in a place like this, a burger is probably your best bet. I came here years ago and actually "hung out", but as of late, I only get take out from here, so I can't really speak to the quality of the place itself. I do remember that they have a few pool tables, as well as tables and chairs, if you want to sit down and eat something. Not a bad place to check out, if you are in the mood for some late night grub on the Westbank.

This is the sort of place that prohibits its patrons from wearing overly baggy shirts or exposed underwear. It is not the sort of place that has a ban on the wearing of Affliction or Ed Hardy gear. So if that's your sort of thing, this is the place for you. It's not the place for me.

So you're on the westbank after a long night of drinking and you need some comfort food? Vinnie's is where you should go. The bar is very casual and there are several pool tables and a jukebox. Ive never really come and hung out here to drink, so my review is all about the food. I started going to Vinnie's many years ago, and it hasn't changed much. Vinnie's is a casual laid back bar serving excellent burgers and other food items. In fact, I liked Vinnie's so much after long nights drinking that I started picking up to-go food from them during the day. Surprisingly, the food was still really good. I highly recommend their hall of fame burger. All of their other sandwiches are good, but a burger fills the late night craving so much better than tuna or hot sausage. If you add cheese to your fries (good idea), the cheese is gooey and delicious. The bartenders and servers are very cool and friendly. I don't get here nearly as often as when I lived five minutes away, but I still enjoy a late night trip and I think you will too.

Pretty nice, chill place to have some drinks, and play a little pool. The steak on Tuesday is amazing and for only $12, you can't beat it. I'd give it the 5stars it it was a little cleaner, but it wouldn't bother the average person.

A favorite watering hole of mine for almost a decade. Cheap drinks, pool, bad karaoke, local bums, the "Blue Mothafu*ka" drink, and great bar food (I.e. Alligator po-Boy)
