This was a really nice dining experience! My husband and I have always wanted to try this place....so, after visiting relatives... & on the way back to Dallas, we DID IT! The restaurant overlooks Cross Lake in Shreveport. The building is a little funky.....it looks like they're trying to update. Anyway, I ordered a dinner salad, fried shrimp & baked potato. My husband ordered Salmon w/ Asparagus....we both had a glass of wine. There was a guitarist playing that evening. Great ambiance.....white table cloths....fresh flowers at every table....watching the sun go down on Cross Lake. Just nice & intimate. Perfect date night dinner. We will definitely go here again! Only 4 stars because the outside of the building has seen better days! (~ Hey, Gator's have to eat, too! ) ****Name has Changed to Jayne Marie's on Cross Lake.
