With the temp reaching 90 today, already! This place will beome a little summertime shack for me...I like the chocolate custard. They have a free stamp card that one can load up an ultimately get a free regular size Italian Ice. This place is located right next to Capital One on Youree and Shane's Seafood. You have to spend over five bucks to use a debit/credit card. It's cash for smaller purchases. They also have several photgraphs and autographs adorning the walls of celebrities who have been in this store. The most odd being the gentleman who played Leatherface in the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre, when it was filmed in Shreveport a year or two ago...Yeah, apparently Leatherface has a Happy Belly...he even says so in his autograph to this store that is proudly hanging on the wall here.

Adore this place. The italian ice is like nothing I've had before and is nothing like a snow cone. Almost like a half melted popsicle. BEST way to cool down. Has different favors every day and the people are super friendly.

This place perplexes me. I can't figure out how they get such happy people to work here. The outstanding sweet treats pale in comparison to their over the top friendly service. One of the most customer oriented businesses I've ever been into. Give it a try once, and you'll be back for more.

Since I have been in town, this is my fourth trip. I am basically addicted to the custard and Italian ice mixture called gelato. It is like no other Italian ice that I have ever had. Each time the taste is excellent. Each time the service is excellent.

I love the atmosphere in this little shop. When we went it the people that worked there had a positive attitude and seemed like they wanted to be there which made for a great first experience. They allowed us to sample the different italian ices, which is great. Their prices are pretty reasonable. I got a kid size and i was surprised that they filled the whole cup and had a scoop at the top like an ice cream cone. It was a lot of italian ice and I am surprised that the sizes get much larger. They have gellato and Im not sure what else, but I did not test any of those flavors. They also have a rewards system where they give you a card and once you get 9 stamps you get a free italian ice. It is the perfect place to stop to get something sweet or to cool yourself down in the Louisiana heat. I will definitely be back.

I think I'm addicted to this place now. Strawberry is sooo good. Drive thru service is fast. Menu is kind of confusing because I believe they only have certain flavors and change them out. I just always ask for what I want or if they have anything similar. If they don't strawberry again, lol, love it.
