I've never had a bad meal at the Captain John's on Linwood. The fish is always crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. It has a slightly herbed taste that is unlike anything I've ever had but delicious. My favorite is the shrimp, they are big and perfectly cooked. Most meals come with a roll, fries, and hush puppies. I would suggest asking to upgrade to the cajun fries as they are a little bit tastier. The chicken wings are really big and coated with tons of crispy seasoned batter. We've gone several times and the food has been consistently good, best of all it is very affordable and definitely a better value than any of the chain seafood places.
