The Dixie burger is probably the best burger you can buy in Scott! Service was great. The traditional Cajun service where people want to know your name and make you feel good about going there. Great place to go to get a plate lunch, po-boy, or burger.

Oh good golly! So glad we stopped here to eat! Not too far off I-10. Husband had the Dixie burger and added their hot sauce which he said was amazing. I had the fried shrimp that were very fresh with the best corn nuggets I've ever had in my life. Seriously, they were so moist and sweet. Kids had the $6 burgers and chicken strips which they loved. My youngest is a chicken strip connoisseur and said they were some of the best she's had! Very friendly and welcoming staff with a laid back atmosphere. Hubby left with a complimentary hat when they found out we were on vacation traveling from Texas. Wish I could pick up this hole in the wall and bring it back home. Go there.

Wonderful little place, easily worth the short detour from the interstate. Don't let the exterior deter you. We stopped here for breakfast after leaving New Orleans an early morning, and did not only get to enjoy a great tasting breakfast but also a nice talk with the owner and the friendly and helpful locals. When we were about to leave, we were handed t-shirts for the kids and a bottle of the house sauce as well!

Simply A hidden jem. Food and service were above and beyond. You'll feel at home right away. Locals favorite, homemade hot sauce, daily specials excellent value.

Great food. From out of town on business and was looking for local food to eat and business to support this place has great food and the prices are excellent.
