While in Monroe, we were craving for some crawfish so we gave this place a shot. Honestly, being from the southern part of Louisiana, in my opinion, it is hard to beat our boiled seafood.. The people here are nice and friendly, and the place looks like an inside picnic and rusty looking, which isn't a bad thing. We had the following: - Crawfish Boudin Balls - these did not taste like crawfish at all.. its either they put wayyyyy to little crawfish in there, or they brought out the wrong thing, it was really hard to tell because they had a lot of fillers in there.. - Chargrilled Oysters - these were somewhat bland, and just really buttery, a little more seasoning here wouldn't hurt - Seafood Platter - probably the highlight of the whole experience here.. everything on this plate is actually very delicious, I would go back just for this! - Crawfish - their crawfish is actually decent, I wouldn't say the best in Monroe, because they're better ones around.. People here are nice, and I would definitely come back if I was craving for a seafood platter.

The food was ok....the batter they use to fry the food in is way too salty...charged $4.99 for a side order of onion rings to go with poboy....the service was about the same...not to bad...the girl was nice....maybe see if they offer something other than fried...of your not wanting a lot of salt!!

Grilled oysters were good and the half-and-half platter was okay. But pricey for what we had. Atmosphere is REALLY casual. Probably won't go again.

Been here three times and I love it! I've only tried the fried catfish platter. It comes with 7 catfish strips, two large hush puppies, fries, and a side salad. Everything a freshly made and delicious. The salad however gets 1 outta 5 stars. It is pricey compared to others in the area but worth it. I would definitely recommend.

Doesn't get any better than this!!! You gotta try this place out! The best seafood in town!!!!

Food just ok. Will not return. Blonde woman serving customers (not mine!) Was coughing into her hands while continuing to serve customers. Yuk. Charbroiled oysters very small and overpowered by parmesan cheese and lemon, grilled shrimp salad boring. Poboy ok enough. Iced tea needed TEA in it. Our waitress was very pleasant.

It was a good experience, have been several times. Had the mini seafood platter, but went for the Charbroiled oysters and the New Orleans's donuts . Service good , locally owned, owners always there. Charbroiled oysters are really good and they are hard to find .

Read good reviews but our experience was horrible. Ordered the fried pickles and they were way to salty. Had the soft shell crab and it was the same way. Way to salty and mostly batter. The salad came straight out of a bag. Ordered the tuna as an appetizer and it was the fishiest thing I have ever eaten. Sent it back and whomever the bartender was, don't know if he was the manager or what. Cocked and attitude and told me "That is how tuna is suppose to taste." I don't think so buddy! We definitely won't be back!
