Seafood at it's best! The boiled seafood is seasoned perfect just like you did them at home. As other reviewers stated there is a wide selection of seafood both fried and boiled. In the past I would fill up on the fried seafood first and not have room for the boiled. Now I hit the boiled seafood first. My healthy way of buffet eating,lol. The bread pudding is the best and seems to go fast. The kids love the creamy soft serve ice cream for dessert. They are only open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and it does get busy in there but worth the drive. I try to limit only once a month visits to avoid buying larger clothes twice a year.

My first, and hopefully not the last time being here and I am in love with it. The atmosphere is pretty busy; a lot of hustle and bustle, however my mother-in-law told me it depends on the time you arrive there. We were "late" and the line for the buffet was a bit long. The buffet included boiled crab legs, boiled unpeeled shrimp, fried popcorn shrimp, fried pickles, fried okra, cheesy Russet potatoes, jambalaya, ribs, hush puppies, yeast rolls, stuffed crab, etc. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating to our party size. Refills were never a problem with our cream soda. I will be back, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Casual dining. Depending on your mood or diet the menu is fine, the Ribeye's are awesome! But our family ALWAYS hits the buffet!! I can't say anything bad about the food, service or owners! Great service always pleasant and make sure you have everything you need. They are only opened Thursday, Friday and Saturday I believe 4:30am until 9:00pm. I suggest getting there early especially if it's around Lent!! But call before the holidays to make sure they are open! They celebrate with their families during that time. My favorites are the snow crabs, crawfish (when in season) oysters, fried shrimp, potatoes, veggies, bread pudding, soft serve ice cream and the VERY BEST are their HOME MADE ROLLS!! YUM!! I can't say I've had anything I did not like! Great for birthday's or large gatherings too! If you have someone from out of town make sure you take them over there to enjoy the food!

Incredible service...the most down home location I've found in and around Amite, Franklinton, Hammond... I ordered the 12 ounce ribeye and it tasted as if I prepared it myself...5-Star! A must try. Every one else in the restaurant was enjoying the seafood buffet. It was crowded but I only had to wait 5 minutes before getting seated. My server was friendly and attentive and everyone working seemed happy to be there. I gave it a 4 only because i didn't try the buffet. I'm not sure if it is worth $22 especially since you have to make a concerted effort to find the restaurant, but I've paid that much in other cities and if the seafood taste anything like the steaks, I'm sure I will be happy. Go out of your way and try them out...

Seafood at its finest and the steak is remarkable. I used to boil all the boiled seafoods before I joined the military and taught the person who does it now. I have always enjoyed the seafood and the great steak that is made there. Bread pudding is another dish that everyone enjoys and I recommend it to anyone who hasn't tried it. All the fried foods are pretty good also I like the fried fish, hush puppies, and the corn nuggets the best but there are other good choices besides those three and if you don't want the buffet you can always just order a specific meal you want. Being that I just worked there I never experienced how the waitress are but I do know they are friendly as are the rest of the staff.
