I lived in the South Lafourche area most of my life and never had a Harry's po-boy until my husband said "you never had a Harry's Po-boy"? He bought me lunch one day from Harry's and I was hooked! Best roast beef po-boy around!

I like the food here, especially the hamburger steak. The only thing I don't like is they only take cash. If they would only take credit or debit cards, my family and I would eat there more often.

Located in a shack on the side of the road off Hwy. 308, this place was recommended as serving the best po boys down de bayou. Well, not having a lot of experience with these things I am no expert, but I can say the that the po boy sandwiches I have had here on several occasions are pretty damn tasty! Today I had the roast beef poboy, it is loaded up with thin sliced roast beef and drowning in an awesome beef gravy. What a great lunch!

I live in California but work in Louisiana. I had heard about this place for years, and tried many times to hit it, but always just missed for one reason or another. Well, today I finally got to try a legendary Harry's Roast Beef Po Boy....and legendary it was. I had it fully dressed with the addition of grilled onions (disgusting) and, yeah, drenched in gravy just as the photos show, which did indeed make it an obscene, wet, sloppy, mess to eat (yep, disgusting). Wouldn't have it any other way! When I picked up my order, I asked for some napkins and the lady handed me a whole napkin dispenser. I knew I was in for a good time! This sandwich is not for sissies. So dive in if you dare! You can wash up later. Very friendly service (the grilled onions was her suggestion, God bless her) and very reasonable prices. The hours are short (lunchtime) and they're only open weekdays, but it's definitely worth the effort to get here.

This place is suppose to have the best roast beef poboys around. I've only tried it once so be sure to try it yourself. It wasn't the best for me.

I'm not in Larose very often, but when I am I always make a point to get a po boy from Harry's. Can't go wrong with the shrimp or roast beef po boys.
