Nothing compares to smell that forces its way up your nose when you walk into this place. I didn't have any baked goods during my first visit to Twins (unless you count the bun on the burger), but I did have the turkey burger. I have had this same menu item when it was Southside Bakery, and it was just as delicious. I think that they added more seating, and I like the new layout of the restaurant. Yummy smells + yummy lunch = pleasant lunch experience. Never been for dinner, but I'm sure it is just as great

I tried the Twins Cheeseburger and it was average. I was expecting hand made patties, but they looked pre made and tasted a lot like sausage. It had a little Cajun spice to it but the overall look feel and taste of the burger tasted like an over grown sausage burger. I was very disappointed and the fries were not very good either. Very disappointed in the burger.

Great place for pastries and burgers. They make assorted sweets and really good king cakes. I like the twin Burger $5-7

Not my favorite burger in town! I think they are greasy and very sloppy. I usually end up giving up on eating it half way though. :( Won't be back unless it's for a snickerdoodle cookie.

Great burgers, I really like their cookies and petit fours. I'm not a fan of their fries, though. A bit overdone.

Today I tried the burger salad and the grape tomato were fresh as was the lettuce. The two burger patties were juicy and not over cooked. I would recommend it.

One star for the burgers. They tasted like soy, the buns were dry and over all the whole thing was gross. My husband, kids, and I couldn't even finish. The prices were way to high. The only good thing there was the cookie my four year old had to have. Will not return. The salads I saw looked like a joke and were overpriced.

Honestly, the only that tastes the same and that is still good is the gingerbread man.. everything tastes so different from Southside Bakery.. The burgers were smaller and not as tasty, and the buns are not even pillow-like no more.. how sad The also don't serve fries no more neither.. Too bad things went down and it's no longer Southside Bakery... most likely not coming back here again..

Went here for a quick pick me up lunch. I've lived in Lafayette for 5 years and I've never tried the place! Today was the day! I phoned ahead and order a Twin's burger with pepper jack cheese, bacon, and no mayo along with an order of waffle fries. Holy crap! The bread was slightly sweet and toasted to perfection, the 2 patties (which I didn't expect) were flavorful and filling and it was topped with onions, lettuce, and a tomato. The waffle fries were okay, but not seasoned. Once I got home, I had to dip them in BBQ sauce to make them taste better. I am now sitting back, SO satisfied and full...I will never eat another burger from anywhere else but Twins! .

Very good over all taste. We felt the hamburger patties were too salty but the bun was slightly sweet so it was pretty much balanced out. The buns are delicious and really makes up for the patty. There is great service with smiling faces all around. It appears to be a great place to work and to grab a quick meal. We also grab 3 sweets before leaving. A carrot cake petite four, chocolate crunch cookie, and a chocolate sandwich cookie. The carrot cake was past it's freshness date, I wouldn't have sold that. The 2 cookies were very good.

Great burger. Bun is outstanding and adds to the already great patty. A must visit if in town

New name, same great taste! I've eaten here for years and will continue to. Billy is always there to greet customers with a smile and provide the best "Burgers and Sweets" Acadiana has to offer. Make sure to try a grilled cheese and a piece of the red velvet cake.

Great place to take the kids for a burger and some treats. The hamburger buns are the best, rivaled only by Fat Pat's (also in Lafayette). The waffle fries are also awesome. One thing I never hear people talk about is the cookies here. They're tasty and well priced. Good job Twins, so glad that burger hasn't changed from the Southside days, it's our favorite.

Great burger! Well seasoned and good bun too! We cut off the interstate and it was a little out of the way, but we thought well worth it. I thought a little pricey but well worth the visit and will definitely return.
