    This is the third and final time trying this place... We should have known better, every other place in the area was packed with a line out the doors, this place looked like a ghost town! Two couples in line in front of us and it still took fifteen minutes just to get seated. We sat for about another ten minutes before someone took our order then waited thirty seven minutes for a burger, chicken sandwich and grilled chicken kids meal! The food was only ok, certainly not worth the wait or the money! Take your chances if you want, but we'll NEVER go again.

    Our experience can be summed up in one word...WOW! (Not a good wow, more of a disbelief wow). Showed up at 2 pm yesterday & had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. There were plenty of empty seats, but the tables were dirty. The hostess was not rude, but not very friendly either. The manager ( I assume anyway, she was wearing a navy blue shirt while everyone else wore a plaid shirt) had a negative attitude & moved at a turtle pace. Finally get a table, but it was not very clean. The server, Ryan, was friendly. Now to the food. After waiting 30 minutes, I thought it would be good & fresh. Wrong! Lukewarm & nasty are more like it. I only gave 1 star because I had to. I will never return here & have already shared my experience with many people that live in the area.

    I hate to give a 1-star rating. I tried to find a positive. I found one. The grilled skewer of veggies was excellent. That's it. I had the ribs and chicken combo. The chicken was juicy but lacked any flavor/seasoning. The ribs? Well, i've never put A1 sauce on ribs before and even that didn't help. This is the first time I have not eaten all of my ribs. We ordered nachos for our table. There was hair in the nachos. The service was slow and unreliable. We had to ask for things multiple times. I honestly feel bad for the girl. She was nice but she was not a good waitress. I wish I had seen the yelp reviews before I went into this place. Lesson learned!

    Just like another reviewer I said I would give this place another chance, so for real this time, I will NEVER ever ever go back. The waitress was rude and condescending. EVERYTHING was over cooked, from the chicken fried steak to the steaks. The chicken looked as though it was all fried in dirty grease. The entire meal took forever and then to finish it off, she did our ticket wrong. We should have just taken the wait at the Quaker steak place.

    WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!! I don't see how this place will survive. I always tell myself.... I'll try it one more time.... I'll try it ONE MORE time, and guess what????!!!! It gets worse EVERY TIME... You have to literally BEG FOR the complimentary rolls, and you will eat your entire entree before you get the Complimentary rolls.... Food is basic, but management really need to reevaluate their waitresses, I actually seen about 15 workers standing around chit chatting when tables were dirty, bathroom was a mess, I talked to the manager and he seemed like he's from Mars..... .. Awful.....Awful.... Awful....Please don't let the yelp photos fool you... They were taken professionally by the restaurant bcuz they all have a Logans roadhouse logo stamped ON THE BOTTOM OF every photo, but a few where from REAL PEOPLE who ONLY POSTED DINNER ROLLS!!!!!!! SMH

    Went to this location last night with the family. They first said there was a 15 minute wait because they were short handed. So we finally get brought to our table and upon getting to it i noticed the table had not been wiped down. They brought us some bread before we ordered and the plates they gave us with the bread were dirty. My mother asked for Sprite and she received water, (of course they did change it). We finally got to order our food and it was over an hr wait before we got it. The waiter was pretty nice, except for when he walked off while we were talking to him. Probably will not be going back.

    Awful. Placed pickup order in person. Forgot to enter order. Re-placed order, got order completely incorrect. Hr wait for Togo order with empty restaurant on Saturday night. Eventfully left with incorrect order after waiting 1.5hrs bc my son needed to eat. Offered a free salad for troubles; After attempting to leave with no food. Staff is incompetent and uneducated at best. Food we did receive was completely different than menu but maybe we didn't get what we ordered. Who knows?!

    Horrible place for drinks. Both bar tenders didn't know how to make the drinks advertised. They dig out the recipe and follow it. I had a moonshine ice tea that was pretty gross. The food was disgusting. I had the potato skins that were really greasy and not worth the money. Never been back since.

    If I owned this business I would fire everyone from the manager to the dishwasher. We decided to eat a late lunch and walked in by the hostess. She finally told us she would be a while and after waiting 15 minutes she said we would have to take a hi top table as they didn't have any booths clean. There were maybe 15 customers in the entire restaurant. I said this is crazy. The Manager, if you really want to call her that, just stared at me. I said we should go somewhere else and she replied "go ahead"! We are currently eating across the street.

    Avoid this place! This was the worst dining experience of my life. We should have walked out when I noticed how filthy the place is. There were plenty of staff, yet service was horrible. With hardly any patrons, there were a number of tables that hadn't been cleaned. It should have been a sign that there was tons of food left on the tables. The highchair was filthy. It made highchairs at the mall look clean. I received a steak that tasted like chlorine! It was a weird gray color and the worst tasting food I've ever put in my mouth. I spit it out. The manager was not professional at all and took 40% off. Someone had to deliberately do something to that steak to make it taste like that. We should have left after I tasted that. However, we stayed and ate the poor tasting food, the mashed potatoes seemed to be from yesterday. Now, after we left, 2 of the 3 of us are sick! No one there cares about the place. The workers were smoking outside the front door and no one was doing any work. I can only imagine how filthy the kitchen is if the public areas are so dirty. Stay far far away!

    it was a horrible experience from the start. Four hostesses were standing up front when I came in. it was slow so I thought I would get fast recognition. Not the case, as it would starty a chain of horrible events. frst, our waitress lazily came over to us and took our orders and drinks. we sat for a good 10 minutes before we were brought silverware and still no drinks. then came the onion tower, and still no drinks. when the waitress g inally brought them, he said she was sorry, so was working 2 sides. what happened after that was, lets just say, didn't make ANY sense. they brought my mom's order out, which was supposed to be a 6 oz steak and baked potato loaded. they only brought this small steak on a HUGE plate; nothing else on it. the waitress said they didnt have any clean dishes so thats why the big plate, then said they ran out of potatos. i had an 8 oz steak with baked potato, so i was missing mine too. they said pick another side, so my mom said something else and they claimed that was out as well. the waitress looked like she was having a panic arrack because she was crying and fanning herself. she told us management would come talk to me. they did . . . 30 minutes later. this manager was real nice saying "oh my gosh, there's not even an excuse i can give. i'm so sorry." He then asked what we had and told him we were missing our baked potatos. A few minutes later he produced 2 hot baked potatos; the same kind we were told earlier they were out of. we then told him anout the dirty plates that were back there. he said that's unexcusable because they were slow and people could have done them. he discounted our ticket and we hurried up and left. let's just say we won't recommend this place at all. oh, and the restroom cleanliness, i say the dining room floor with all the peanut hulls on the floor was cleaner, and when you walk in, expect to learn some ghetto lingo and who's boyfriend slept with someone. basically, a live jerry springer show in there.

    The only reason this place received one star is because we had to pick a star in order to leave a review!!!! The food is absolutely horrible. We ordered burgers thinking it would be quick and easy, well that turned into a 30-45 minute wait along with our food being served cold! Don't waste your time!

    We made the mistake of stopping here for dinner last night. I should have known by the lack of cars in the parking lot. We walked in to a mostly empty restaurant. We were looked at a couple times then told to wait while they cleaned a table. After several minutes someone else asked if we had been helped. A group of servers yelled from the back where to seat us. The peanut bucket at our table (it was already there) was filled with the dust of old peanuts. After 15 minutes a young man finally showed up to take our drink order. Things just kept going down hill. We were told they were out of sweet tea after another 10 minute wait. We finally place and we're told they were out of a couple things we wanted to order. Several minutes later we finally got "fresh" peanuts, after having to ask for them. A while later the bread showed up. We finally get appetizers, believe it or not, they were pretty good. By this point we are all pretty hungry and have been there close to an hour. Our salads never get brought out but the steaks finally arrive. The food looks good, then I smell something, propane/natural gas. My fillet tastes like this, so my the other 2 steaks. We are so hungry at this point we try to eat anyway. Finally I am asked if the food is good. The answer was no. The manager comes to the table and stands beside my daughter and proceeded to flip her hair around and try to appease us. She will comp my steak and the salads..... she never gave her name. As she walks away I notice her hair in my daughter's plate. I just want to leave at this point but I wait for the check. Our waiter comes back with the check and I find out it is his first day to be a solo waiter. The other servers have sat most of the guests in his section and he is overwhelmed. I did give him a pep talk. As we leave I spy the manager again and confront her about the hair flipping and getting hair into the food. She blames it on her contacts, she should have excused herself and a hair cut that doesn't hang in your eye might help. She tries to offer me food to go but we want none of the terrible stuff they are trying to pass off as quality food. We paid almost $60 for a meal that was mostly untouched. If you like good food and decent service I would suggest visiting a different establishment. I doubt we will ever go into any Logan's Roadhouse.

    Wow. Actually received an email saying what can they do for me since my last few experiences were horrible. Soooooo I go back to give them another chance. Well since no one was in the place I should have gotten the message they still are horrible. First two items I order they are out of. How can you be out? Can't say how bad this place is managed. If negative stars is possible I would give them -5 stars. And my order was wrong. Just plan sad. Well the manger came out and apologized over and over. So. I will give it one more shot. He said he was brought here to fix it. Hope he does.

    It's random every time we come. Sometimes the service and food could be a little off and sometimes it's great. Today was a great day! The young man (forgot his name :() was great! The food was really good as well. My husband loves this place and my kids over eat peanuts always!

    I was in the area for an almost 2 week business trip. Our Host's preferred Hotel was the nearby Hampton Inn, which provided a variety of chain restaurant for our dining "pleasure". We were often too busy or tired to go further down the road and at the end of a long day, these places were good enough. Here's how Logan's stacked up on one Friday night: Front Desk Service - 1 STAR We were a party of 7, but they couldn't seat us right away , nor could they tell how how long it would be. I finally asked to speak to the manager after an hour's wait with no change in message. The woman attending the front desk exhibited that rare combination of not giving a shit (complete with snarky look) and not wanting to be there. Bar Service - 3 STARS. At least we could get a drink and eat lots of peanuts while we waited! The Bar folks were nice enough, although service was a bit slow. Table Service - 3.5 STARS. I think they are short of help in these parts, and after finally getting seated, our waiter tried his best under the conditions that he was dealt. Food - 3 STARS. Not Bad, Not Special, Just OK. Final Grade - 10.5/4 = 2.6 STARS Let's Round DOWN and Call it a 2 STAR evening. After all, you should never get a second chance to make a good first impression.

    Hersh was our server. We excellent service. Great food. With all the negative reviews I was expecting the worst. It was great. Will come again. I had the sirloin melt which was hot And perfectly tender. My comanions got a steak med rare. Looked great and the sweet potato was cooked perfect.

    After having a horrible food and customer service experience a few months ago, my wife and I decided to give them another chance after receiving a very apologetic phone call from their kitchen manager. I rarely complain to a restaurant's Corporate offices, but my previous experience warranted such a phone call. However, this experience was a completely different experience both in food quality and customer service. It seems, at least the day we visited, their opening issues had been resolved. Our waitress was on top of everything and very polite....we did not have to ask for a single thing the entire time. You want a waitress that refills your drinks, brings you ketchup, etc. before you have to ask for them. We ordered the potato skins for appetizers and steaks for our entrees. The kitchen was fast, the food was hot, and it was cooked to order. If I had to pick a negative, overall the food was a tad bit salty but that is a personal preference and we have cut back on the amount of salt in our diets. But the steaks were well seasoned other than the slight excess of salt. When the steaks came to the table, our food runner asked that we cut into them to make sure they were cooked to our desired temperature, which they were. I've visited many Logan's Roadhouses over the years and this is the first time I can remember them asking this, though I now know it is part of their standards. After the meal, we asked for the kitchen manager to share with them the improvements from our previous visit, but the kitchen manager we spoke with on the phone was not working. Another manager, the same manager from the previous experience we complained to and received underwhelming customer service from, came to the table and remembered us from the previous experience...and even remember what we had ordered. He was extremely pleased and grateful that we had a better experience on this visit and took the time to let them know this. I also took the time to contact their Corporate offices and compliment them for the improvements. So, on this visit, we had a good experience. We will visit them again and recommend them in the Gonzales area. Hopefully you will have the same pleasant experience we had on our 2nd visit.

    The staff is very disconnected from the customer base. I sat at the bar and the bartender barely spoke to me. It wasn't that busy. An off duty employee just stood next to me bad mouthing the customers from the night before . I will have to say this is going to be a pass for me going forward

    ordered a grilled chicken salad and the chicken came with a nasty white sauce..when you ask for a grilled chicken salad the last thing you want is sauce on your chicken because the dressing will be enough. we called an hour before to place order and still had to wait 20 minutes for food. they forgot avocado on salad. the rolls were raw and the chicken was burnt. i ordered 2 grilled chicken dishes off of the healthy menu and they soaked the brocholli in butter put more white sauce on the burnt chicken. not so heatlhy. yuck

    I took my family to Logan's while we were on vacation. I was not expecting a fine dining experience, but they did not even get the basics right. The server took our drink order and brought out the drinks right away. That was the highlight of the evening. After listing about four items that they did not have, our server took our food order. The best of the food we got was on the poor side of mediocre. The soup was cold. The Caesar salad had more dressing on it than even seemed possible and was topped with about a cup of grated cheese. I know lettuce was on the plate, but I never saw it. The server never cleared our salad plates and soup bowls, even after our main courses arrived. They were still there on the table when we left. The entrees took over 30 minutes to arrive after our salads were served. My steak was overcooked, tough and veiny. My wife said the ribs were so-so as was the salmon according to my son. We had to flag down the server on one of her rare trips past our table to get drink refills. She explained that they were out of glasses, but she refilled the glasses we had. We all agreed that we would have enjoyed one of the nearby fast food restaurants much more.

    The Logan's Roadhouse needs some work as in better customer service from the staff our waiter could careless about refilling our drink orders, didn't have patience to take our order or if needed something. My ribs were cold and not cooked to my standard and the french fries were cold not even cook as well. My mother's chop steak wasn't well done as she requested it was raw to medium blood nasty if you ask me. Our drink orders took forever to get refilled by our waiter he wasn't that busy at all just asking how everyone's dinner was coming along and etc. I'm not surprised to see this place with a two star rating and not higher. Maybe if the manager would come around and ask how the customers/guest dinner was maybe it would be a lot better. Over all experience? We will think about coming back here.

    This place should close the doors and be finished with it. I read a great deal of the reviews while sitting in my booth watching the mess around me. I even let the manager have it after I was served one of the worst meals of my life. Walk in and be seated quickly... but wonder if someone will ever come to wait on you. The person who sat me had to take a drink order (Bloody Mary) and eventually it came to the table... mistake 1 - worst mixer in the world. I took it back to the bar myself since i was sitting so close to have something, anything added to make it take like more than tomato juice. Caesar salad? lettuce with dressing on top, not tossed and enough to drown that lettuce... I mean enough for 3 or 4 salads. it was gross... ribs, they can't screw that up right? wrong... they were tough as hell and tasted like crap. I also ordered the coleslaw because I was dying for some... the temperature of the slaw and the flavor scared the crap out of me. I almost spit it out for fear of getting sick. It's like it sat out and went bad. I didn't actually eat much of anything and yes I told the manager what I thought. I also said I didn't understand how review after review was correct but months go by and they can't seem to fix the problem. I said "turn this place over, empty it and start again, starting with all new cooks"... he comp't the meal, I tipped the poor waiter after telling him how sorry I was he was working there and left. I was even more pissed off that I had to go to KFC as not to starve.

    Second time trying this place, the first time we tried this place the food was horrible. Well this time we were eating a potato skin and there was a plastic wire thing in it which was found after being eaten! Drinks (alcohol) were good but the wire in the potato skins killed this place for me. On top of that ants all over the floor under the table. The waiter we had who's name I believe was Devon was great at helping us with our situation because the manger wasn't worried. It seem almost impossible to find a good place to eat anymore.
