I live right across 190 from this place, but never had a reason to go. I mean really, what kind of fatass has to go to every pizza place in town, right? But here's why I like it: upstairs it's like a miniature chuck e cheese, with better beer, and better and cheaper pizza. A niche, I admit, but the kids loved it. I originally went there to pick my kids up from a party, but have since been back by myself for the pizza.

It's ok if you get take out. Buffet taste like cat food. Cool most the time. Becareful they don't clean your table when your getting a new plate the people who work there are stupid. And too many stupid kids running around.

To much help. They were not organized due to so many employees. Okay tasty pizza will go back. Chicken wings could have been crispier. Abita pitcher about $11/pitcher. Great for kids over 14 for they can go upstairs and play games. Owner, think about having fewer employees and cook wings more please. Employees left get in a routine. Found out they get chicken wings ready to be heated they do not fry them. Guess they send them through the pizza oven. No more wings for me. Need to slow down cooking oven and get crust cooked - at least get dough to change to a little brown.

LOVE me some Johnny's Pizza!! I started eating at Johnny's in Farmerville, LA when I was very little. When I heard we were getting one close to home I could not wait until they opened! We have dined in, done take out and the buffet! It's a twist on the traditional pizza that I think is amazing. Not too greasy, just the right amount of sauce and the cheese is to die for. Salads, sides and desserts available too. Everything is worth trying!

This place is okay. The wife and I went to try something new. We got a pizza and the salad bar. The salad bar was okay for a pizza place, but they didn't really cut up everything for a salad bar. The pizza came and it was not that good. It was really thin, and the cheese went all the way to the edge. I like my pizza with defined edges. They did not put that many toppings on it either. The place was crawling with kids, which is okay since there's an arcade upstairs. We didn't venture up there upon finding out they did not have a Ms Pac Man machine. The walls are decorated with Atari posters of Centipede and Asteroids, but doubtful those are in the arcade either. By the sounds of it they do have an air hockey table. I heard this place is relatively new, so I'd be willing to give it another chance again. I heard they have killer lunch specials, so maybe for lunch or something.

Johnny's has potential. I first heard how great it was for kids but they don't really have that many games. The pizza was ok but the cheese tasted on the lower quality end. The salad bar was pretty good though and very clean!

  • Carol W.

The customer service was good. The food taste a step up from frozen pizza. It has a few games which makes it cool. They have a salad bar which had a good selection. But their are so many great places to have pizza I don't think I will be going back.

I love Johnny's Pizza, and I'm glad there's one a little closer to us here in New Orleans...though I wish I didn't have to drive all the way to Covington to get it! The Sweep the Kitchen is perfect as always. We'll definitely be going back, but we hope there's a New Orleans location soon!

Awesome pizza place. FINALLY a pizza place geared to both the kids and the adults. Send the kids upstairs to play the games while the parents feast downstairs and watch the game or enjoy pizza in peace. Very big place. Pizza is good but they have so much more than pizza.

Great pizza place close to home. Love the service we got from the time we walked in the door. The kids had a blast, and their buffet was cheap for the kids. Ours was a little pricey for a pizza buffet, but it worked out well with the kids. The all meat pizza was my favorite. Just the right amount of spiced sausage and live the crust. Will be back in a couple if weeks, after I work off the extra calories. Hehe

The price is right at Johnny's! . Solid Buffett , great salad bar, pasta & bread sticks and friendly service. They have draft beer sold in mugs and by the pitcher at really good prices. Children's plates are dirt cheap! 50cents per year for however old the child is for the Buffett. My 2 and 5 year olds ate for $3.50 total ! Small but fun arcade upstairs as well. We will be back !

Buffet is horrible and the pizza has no taste or anything. No flavor used and you can get a frozen pizza that taste better than this.

I really like this place. I like to get the salad bar. It's very good, fresh, and delicious! We usually eat here with the kids. So that means at least 2 pizzas. The pizza is good. I've tried some of the different pizzas but I find that the basic pepperoni is my favorite. It's really cool while we sit the kids can go upstairs and be entertained with the games. They love it and we get a few minutes to talk about our day before the food arrives! Very nice and convenient place. Never had a problem here. Everyone is really nice, food and atmosphere!

Not good pizza at all. It tasted like nothing, no flavor what so ever. Don't waste your time or money.

The lunch buffet is quite a bargain . The Salad buffet is full of great fixings . Love the pizza but the restaurant floors are filthy everywhere ! The floors need a scrubbing . The dirt is old and the floors are slippery with grime

  • Z O.

Help me find a good pizza. You can probably make this yourself. Did not go upstairs but there's a game room. Probably good place for a family if you need a place to go with the kids. Oh well, maybe I will start making pizzas at home. I am glad we tried it. We got the large hog heaven. But we'll probably will not be back. Sorry. They also have a buffet, I took pictures...

  • Steven D.

I don't eat pizza very often but this place is pretty good. We were let down that there was no buffet for dinner. There is a great Abita Beer selection on draft. The salad bar is really good and its a great place for a kids birthday party.

  • Joey S.

I don't care for the buffet all that much but it's a cheap way to get full I suppose and feed the kids. Kids love that place! Lots of games in their second story arcade. This is what most folks don't get. Their buffet pizza is not as good as their specialty pizzas off their menu. I love the one called Sweep The Kitchen. That thing with anchovies and jalapeños coupled with all those ingredients is so darn good! The sausage pizza is also tasty. The sausage they use is really good tasting and unique. The pepperoni pizza is good and I'm a fan of their cheese pizza also. The bread sticks with cheese sauce is off the chain good. So my advice is if you want their best quality tasting pizza skip that cheapened down buffet they serve at lunch and go in and order off their regular menu in the evening. I also ask them to cook mine a little longer where the crust is crispier. It's a unique tasting pizza unlike anything I've ever had.

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. The good news: the pizza is edible. The bad news: the workers at this place simply cannot keep up with the buffet. We've been here several times now. It's probably the worst pizza buffet I've ever been to. The variety of pizzas they put out are not even that great. If you go there, make sure you have plenty of time to kill as you impatiently wait for more pizzas to come out. The young employees at this location just don't care. It's really not worth going to Johnny's Pizza unless you are on a budget and just want to stuff your face with greasy pizza. And let's face it, we all get in that mood sometimes!

Pathetic customer service. I walked in and attempted to explain that we had called in a to go order but I didn't think it was ready. In the middle of that, the cahsier, without a word, turned his back on me and walked off into the kitchen. I stood there for a minute, stunned then waited 10 minutes. I tried to get the attention of another employee who ignored my presence and requests for attention of,"excuse me, sir!" So I decided to stand at the register and wait. After 10 more minutes (exactly 22 minutes after the call was placed), a third employee finally acknowledged my existence. He explained that my order would be 10 more minutes. It's my first time here. I can't tell you how the pizza tastes, but I can tell you that the indifference of the staff will leave a terrible taste in your mouth long before the pizza gets to your mouth.

Out of all of the options at the buffet, I ended up only finding 2 things that were edible after my first round of food. It was spaghetti and a thick crust cheese pizza. However, the second time around, the cheese pizza tasted terrible and I couldn't finish it. I basically just got full on the spaghetti at this buffet and it wasn't even because it was good... there was nothing else to eat. The rest of the pizza was bland and I bit into what looked like a chocolate cake/pie but it was equivalent to biting into cardboard with chocolate sauce on it so I stopped. My work team made me come back here for a second time... it was actually worse than the first time. How do you screw up a salad?!!!!!

  • Nate H.

I believe this is the only place in the North Shore area with a pizza buffet so that alone brings me back. Good pizza and a good salad bar. I've never had any complaints and am a regular.

  • Ashley C.

Good for the kids! This isn't where I would go for really good pizza, but I would go back because my kids liked it. The lunch buffet is cheap, like 40 cents times the age of your child. It was cheap for me too, like 6 bucks. The salad bar was included so that's a huge plus. I will bring my boys back for lunch again.
