Average place. Decent Indian food for the area. I think they have a hard time holding on to a chef and this explains why a dish tastes different and has a different texture each visit. Go with the typical dishes and you should be fine. Do not order the Indo-Chinese dishes. Not good at all.

Excellent food!!! The bread is wonderful and I could make a meal on the basket of their variety breads any day. My husband and I have eaten here several times and have been delighted with everything we have ordered so far. It is so nice to have an Indian restaurant in Somerset. A great change from the normal hamburger joints that are everywhere.

Best Indian food I've had in a long time. Service was excellent. A real treat to find in this part of Ky. Especially good was the pekora! Yumm ! And oh yes, the mango lassi, extra good. We have eaten there three times now and each time better than the one before.

We have gone to indian restaurants all over the country since we love indian food. This place is excellent. The best onion kulcha we have ever had. Excellent and fresh vegetable masala. Samosas very light and flavorful. This is a gem and has many menu items to appeal to anyone. Spicey hotness can be altered to taste. Highly recommend and will revisit next time we are in the area.

I tried the veggie pakora, garlic naan, chicken vindaloo in medium heat, and mild chicken korma. Their medium is more like hot at other Indian restaurants I have been too, but they warned me of that in advance. All of the food was prepared well, delicious, with excellent flavor. The service was great--- good explanations of the food, quick good delivery, and friendly staff. They are between stop lights 20 and 21 on Hwy 27.

I'm going to save a life today. If I could rate my experience at Indian Palace Restaurant I would give it a -10. Where to start with how awful this restaurant is. While looking for a place to eat I read the reviews and nothing by 4/5 stars on all reviews. I'm telling you they were all PAID! Theirs nothing good about this place. The "ambiance" was about as good as eating in a 7/11 public bathroom. I was seated in a booth that looked like it had been re-purposed from the Waffle House. Furthermore the "art" in my booth was a Shiva beating the living shit out of another man. Just google "disturbing art" im sure you will find it. The entire time I ate I was looking into the poor soul who face was getting knocked the fuck out. I decided to get a glass of tea and lunch buffet. So the tea must have been imported from the Ganges river itself. It had an odd creamy texture and tasted like dirty dish water. I politely asked them to take it back and got a cola instead. The "buffet" was just as bad. It had about 4/6 dishes it was cold and dry and some trays were empty. The service was about as unwelcoming as the restaurant itself (too cheap to turn on the heat) I went with a group and they were eating the bread that was given to me during the "buffet". The waiter told them they couldn't eat my bread that they would have to order it off the menu. Even though it was one ticket. When the received their bread it had a black hair on it. Would have said something but he threw a fit about them eating the bread in the 1st place. So if you like food that has been chewed up and spit out by Ganges itself look no further. The Indian Palace is the place for you. Need to break up with you gf/bf take them to this "romantic" establishment they will NEVER FORGIVE YOU and dump your ass on the spot.

The buffet is VERY limited. Food decent, but better off driving to Richmond to Marsala.

Indian Palace is one of my favourites in town! The menu is HUGE (seriously, almost anything you can think of!) and the portions are just as big! The staff is VERY friendly as well. I always enjoy my visits to Indian Palace. They also have a buffet if that is more your style.

I enjoyed this little place very much! The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. I went for their lunch buffet and thought everything I tried was tasty! It should be said that the buffet isn't huge, but I'd rather have a small selection of good food than a large selection of bad. I can't wait to go for their non-buffet dinner!

We went here during Diwali and really surprised at the variety of the menu and how good the food was overall. I have eaten in India and in Louisville at several Indian restaurants and this is one of the best. The vegetable pakora and lamb coconut, tikki masala are all excellent. The pakora is not greasy and the sauces are spiced just right. If you like spicy food, tell the waiter because I got India hot and it was more like medium. They are afraid that people can't handle the heat.
