Having been in the restaurant industry for over thirty years, I am NOT a fan of fast food . My attitude was pleasantly changed recently when my wife and I decided to try Lee's. We had just moved into the area and wanted something quick. WOW!!! This place is great! The chicken tasted like something my Grandmother used to make. It was piping hot and tasted great the next day as leftovers, as well. I am now a devoted customer and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good FAST meal!

My coworkers went to pick up lunch as usual and they raved about this place so I was excited. I went online to try to find a menu, but the network blocked it, and the only website I could look at said something about Lee being Colonel Sander's nephew...hmm interesting! Since I already had a salad in the fridge, the girls suggested I get the chicken dippers which are basically yummy, juicy, crispy nuggets. (If any Texans have been to Golden Chick or Bush's, they had that kind of breading). I threw em on top of my salad plus honey mustard and I was set! My coworker also shared some chicken livers yum! I wanna check out this place and see what else they got going on :)

Food is okay when you're on the go. Giving the history, I can see where the taste profile is very similiar to KFC. I do however; love the baked beans and sweet tea.

My daughter came to visit from California and was determined to have authentic Southern Fried chicken. Honestly, I hadn't heard anyone rave of anywhere in particular as of yet so this was the closest and convenient we could find. Overall, there was nothing over the top fantastic about it. We haven't been there since then but it's mainly because me and the other half are not big into fried chicken.
