I've been here several times and never had an issue. It's a diner people, not Ruth Chris steak house. I love their turkey club.

Terrible service. The hamburgers must have been hard to cook. They took 30 minutes. We we're told the chicken was still frozen and some at the table had to wait for their flood Not very busy and I can see why

Since it's the only place open around 3 or 4AM I've eaten here a few times, and never left satisfied. Food is never thoroughly cooked, from runny pancakes to pink chicken strips. Coffee is bitter and sometimes the drinks have a hint of soap. Service can go either way - sometimes you get decent service and other times terrible.

Have read many reviews and heard good things about this place. Unfortunately we got the worse experience possible and refuse to go back. Upon walking in we were not greeted, just left to stand there twiddling our thumbs. Finally a man sat us at a round table that was dirty. Crumbs, wadded up napkins and straw wrappers. We let it go since yes they were busy. Took almost 30 minutes to get someone to bring us water in dirty glasses. after almost 50 minutes at the table we were able to place our order. We both ordered omeletes. Last time I checked omeletes are NOT supposed to be runny but of course we didn't find this out till we started eating. Took about 15 min to get a wait staff to talk to us. She just looked at us like we were crazy for asking her to take them back. But she did. And we waited again. After another 30 minutes of waiting we said screw it and got up. My husband tried to find a manager to let them know why we were leaving but no one was to be found and the entry way was piling up with customers.

This place cracks me up. Located off the Dixie Ave near Fort Knox's cemetery, this location is one of many in the Louisville area and a must-visit whenever I am in town. If you are looking for authentic, honest to goodness, American/Kentucky food at a good price, this is your place. If you are looking for Fried Mac and Cheese bites, then this is your place too! Genres on the menu include: All You Can Eat; Appetizers; Combos; Traditional; Pastas; Steaks; Scrambles; Dixie Favorites; Omelets; Griddle Items; Burgers; Sandwiches; Soups; Salads; Senior Items; Sides; Desserts; and milkshakes. It's like Steak N Shake meets Bob Evans in the REAL country. Be warned, though, that this fine institution still allows smoking in half of the restaurant. But I am still giving it a 5.

J-Boys, words can not describe the love I have for this place. The scrambler: Kentucky-Ana Amazing! (KAA as some would say) Its the most food you could possible think of ordering. Place is 24 hours, great for getting off work late or post drinking recovery meal. And there where always very pretty waitresses to boot.

Went for the first time this past weekend for breakfast. We were seated immediately and the service was very good. I had an omelet, hashbrowns & toast and it was all very good. The hashbrowns were perfect! Everyone enjoyed the food and wants to go back. The only issue I had was when we first came in there was a urine like smell near the door and the restrooms are off to the side. Not sure what was going on but it wasn't bad inside the actual restaurant.

I'll be frank here; No, I'll be Eric, but seriously, the only time I ever eat here is after a night out or upon waking from a night out. The coffee is rancid; stay with ice water or OJ. I usually go with the southern scramble, but I am known to get a little crazy and try something else. I've tended to stay with breakfast foods after they murdered both the cheeseburger AND spaghetti. Pancakes, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, toast, and all the other foods associated with breakfast have been pretty awesome here. I'm giving it four stars because at times, I've been seated at a table that hasn't been cleaned off. What's up with that? Other times, people can get a little rowdy in here after being out all night. I guess it maintains the "home cooking" theme. It looks a little grimy, but the restroom(men's) has always been proper.
