This is the ONLY mexican restaurant in radcliff that I could easily find. The adress has changed though. It is now 179 E. Lincoln Trail Blvd. Radcliff. KY. 40160. Its a great place to eat at. Its a sit down place but you can also order to go. A must if you are visiting Radcliff and are craving Mexican style food and a margarita. They offer military discount.

Beautiful restaurant, with a variety of options, from traditional and authentic favorites, to more mainstream tex-mexish options. Food was good but could've been better if not for the service. They need to be reminded about customer service and what it does for their tips!

I have always loved this place for years, but moved to a different state. Every time I visit KY though, I make a stop here. They got their new place and it looks great. Way better than it used to be. The food is awesome and, me being a Mexican myself, this is some of the best Mexican food I've had.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times in the past, but last night ended it for us. We were seated right away and we received our drink orders quickly, but that would be the end of the exceptional customer service. We read through the menu and decided on our orders then sat there for a full 15 minutes with no member of the wait staff coming to take our order. The place was not busy; perhaps only 10 tables with customers. There were 7+ members of their wait staff standing around the register just shooting the breeze. Then final straw for us came when I asked a waiter who was cleaning the table next to ours how much longer we would have to wait. This young man laughed at me. When I told him it was not a joke he laughed even harder. We immediately left this place but not before some choice words were exchanged between me and who I can only assume was a manager. I have never felt so disrespected and insulted in my life. We will not return to this terrible restaurant and we will make sure our friends know how terrible the customer service in the place is.

The atmosphere is nice an live. Came here for the second time on a Wednesday and they had live music. It wasn't bad. Lots of people. I was greeted right away. The chips and salsa are good. The combination fajitas are the bomb. Great flavor and lots of meat. The server was very attentive and respectful. The inside of the restaurant is well decorated and great prices for all the food you get and fast.

Came here on a Monday for the all you can eat taco special. Ordered 7 tacos between the two of us. After about 20 minutes we asked where our tacos were because we were about to leave and go somewhere else. The waiter said there was a new food delivery person and he must have gave our food to someone else. He said to give him 1 minute and he'd bring us our food. After another 7 minutes we got up and left. We won't be back.

The restaurant is bright and colorful with a very comfortable feeling. I was seated immediately and my drink order was taken and delivered very quick. Ok. First off in reading reviews on mexican restaurants/food is the word "authentic". The food here is authentic, with a slight american twist. And when I say "slight" , barely comes to mind. I had the carne asada. Good cut of beef, cooked tender with all the trimmings. The plate was massive and filled with food. The prices are very good and very cheap. I definitely recommend this establishment..

¡Dale, dale, dale No pierdas el tino! Porque si lo pierdes ¡Pierdes el camino! That silly little song, and the fact that my coworkers visit this restaurant on Wednesday nights for margaritas, are how I know about this place. And I've been wanting to come here for months, so we finally made it happen. The first noticeable thing about the restaurant is how bright and colorful the chairs and everything are. It made me feel like a kid again. They brought chips and salsa to the table fairly quickly, and they were also able to come out with my order of chimichangas in very little time. The chimichangas mexicanas that I ordered consisted of two chicken and two beef chimichangas, which are basically deep-fried burritos. In the middle of the dish were some lettuce, sour cream, and guacamole. The whole thing was all right, but I was particularly satisfied that it was only $9.99 on the menu. I was here kind of in a hurry, so I didn't get to stay long enough to enjoy more of it. I kind of would have liked to try more dishes and maybe some of their drinks, but I imagine other items on their menu will be pretty similar in quality. The restaurant is a little farther away from Fort Knox than Miguel's, but it's worth the trip if you're looking for another authentic Mexican experience in town.

This is a decent Mexican restaurant. The service is good and the complimentary chips and salsa are really good. They also have a very extensive menu. The food is good depending on what you get. They have really good tacos, chili rellenos, and fajitas, but we definitely prefer the cheese enchiladas at Miguels. The last time we went we ordered a platter to share and it was supposed to come with 3 separate things, in addition to rice and beans. Two of them (burrito and enchilada?) looked exactly the same. We spent so much time looking at the extensive menu we couldn't recall exactly what we ordered, but we both remember ordering a platter with 3 different things. We spent most of the meal trying to figure out what the difference was between these two. There was none. So that was a disappointment. The food was really good, so it was fine, but when I order two different items there should be some noticeable difference. Overall it's a good Mexican restaurant for Kentucky standards.

Visiting Radcliff for some family time and we stopped in for a good meal at Camino's. The drinks were strong and the food was delicious. It was definitely a great recommendation by my relatives. They have a separate bar as well. Decor is nice, with a "stoney" look and great artwork and furniture. The staff was great and polite with fast service. The food was great, the portions are large and typical mexican fare, but they have a ton of options and all sounded good. Everyone loved their meals, and we had a large group. Overall a great mexican restaurant surrounded by sub-par fast food options. Definitely go here if you are looking for good, medium-priced mexican in the area. Atmosphere: 8/10 Service: 8/10 Food: 8/10

I have been here a few times and while service was never superior, the food was always quite delicious. I've been spoiled by my in-laws because they make authentic Mexican food so I'm usually disappointed with local so-called Mexican restaurants. I always get my favorite, the Carne Asada. It has always come out pre-sliced with a side of tasty guacamole, rice and beans, and flour tortilla. I was very disappointed this past week when I ordered this dish and the meat came out as two thinly grilled pieces. It seemed like they didn't take the time to slice the meat properly and the guacamole came out as a salad. I was not happy with the presentation of the food nor the service from the waiter. He was very impatient and didn't even look at me when it was my turn to order. He did not return to to table to check on us after dropping off our food; we had to wave another waiter down to refill our drinks. Well, I will not be returning any time soon.

I was devastated when the directions from yelp left me stranded. I started driving around to find something else and actually found it. I was not disappointed; the food was great: I had the "Special Dinner" which was a sampling of Chile Rellenos, taco, enchilada, and tamales with rice and refried beans. It was a ton of food, and what I took home was another full meal. The salsa and chips that come for free as an appetizer were delicious too; I could taste fresh herbs and tomato-amazing. Servers were all male and just a tad bit flirty with me.

El Camino is a hidden gem! If you are looking for real Mexican food look no further!! We were a group of 3 visiting Fort Knox for a couple days and looking for a place to eat, someone recommended El Camino. Being Mexican I'm always skeptical of "authentic" Mexican food. Plus not many people were in the restaurant and Yelpers had given them 3 stars. Lucky for us, we decided to try it. Even after only one visit I would Highly recommended El Camino if you want good Mexican food. We all enjoyed our meals, real-good portions (enough for each of us to have to-go plates), fast service, decent prices and nice atmosphere. I have no doubt if I lived here, I would be a regular at El Camino.

Good food, good prices, good and fast service service. Every time I leave I am full. Their chips and salsa is my fav around here.

Great food, great prices, and you better bring an appetite, ask for the hot salsa but have your drink close by. They also have a bar and the deserts were awesome, my wife tried the Cholacolate Cheese cake and it was mmm...good! They also provide a 10% military discount.

Nicely relocated to their new facility and very conveniently located with plenty of parking. The restaurant management and the staff get it, they are very friendly and attentive to their customers and based on the clientele and traffic it is well received within the community. If you prefer a little more spiciness on your food, ask for their special sauce and they will be more than happy to provide it.

(This is a real review, not written by anyone at Yelp.com ) My experience at this restaurant was horrible. I went there with my family for the first time thinking it looked like a nice place. When I walked in, a large group was paying and leaving. That was fine, but the hostess didn't even acknowledge us, even to say "I'll be with you in a moment". Finally we were seated. We sat at a table and were promptly ignored for 10 minutes while my kids complained about how thirsty they were. Finally, a waiter asked if we had been served. I stated no, and he finally took my drink order, well after serving a table that had come in well after us. Several minutes later, he took our dinner order. After a VERY long wait, we finally got our meal. Of course, they apparently thought "surely they cant be serious about not wanting guacamole" and took it upon themselves to fix that mistake. Of course, we weren't going to ask them to correct it after waiting so long. The food was okay, nothing all that special. Definitely not worth coming back and putting up with the poor service again.

I made the mistake of trying this place tonight. I will never make this mistake again. The service and food are HORRIBLE. The place looks nice, though. I spoke my order very slowly and told the waitress EXACTLY what I wanted and didn't want. Unsurprisingly when my food showed up it was not even close to being right. They pump urban music (hip-hop/rap) through the overhead speaker which is very annoying and downright unprofessional. I would rate this restaurant NEGATIVE 5 stars if I could. Save your money and eat somewhere else.

El Camino has moved to the east of 31W in the shopping center. The new location is a one of a kind highly stylized decor that will surprise you when you enter. The food is great, the drinks are the best in town, and the staff has a couple of super waiters who return to Radcliff after being gone for a few years. All in all a super place for lunch dinner or just drinks and appetizers.

My husband and I venture to this restaurant a least one monthly, because there are no other Mexican restaurants in this area. The restaurant is very clean, nicely decorated, and they play live music periodically. My husband always orders a fajita mix, with both chicken and beef. It comes with beans, rice, and tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole and chips. I always order taco salad, tacos, or the flutas. The food comes out timely, and hot. Sometimes however they are out of certain items that they have advertised on their menu. The wait staff is very friendly and kind. The food tastes ok, and the portion sizes are above average. The only issue I have with the food is that the ingredients are scaled down. Don't get me wrong, you get plenty of lettuce, tomatoes and cheese, but they do not add lime or cilantro to anything that I've seen. The flavors are a step above Taco Bell. I guess I'm just used to the fantastic and authentic flavors of the Mexican restaurants in Chicago, Texas and Florida. If you'd like a taste of Mexican that is a step above Taco Bell, try this place out. The service is fast, people are friendly, and the food is hot.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
