Our family loves this restaurant! All of the staff are helpful and friendly and the food is wonderful. Make sure you try the white sauce! Our favorites are the prime rib and brisket but you're really safe trying anything! Even their sides are good. If you like baked beans, make sure you try these, they're smokey and sweet with just a little kick and lots of yummy pork in them!

Fantastic. Me and my Kansas City crew stopped in to this hole in the wall joint. Blown away by the ribs, the Burgoo, the brisket, the pulled pork, the beans and the cobbler. Will be back!

Just traveling through and glad I found this place. Everything was excellent, food, service, staff and the Peach Cobbler was off the chain! Really enjoyed the blues music in the background. Hoping to travel this way again so I can stop in. Even ordered some to take back to SC it was so good!!!!

My husband and I were passing through town and decided to stop for a quick dinner. I checked my phone for reviews for closest restaurants and Dave's came up on top. The reviews don't lie! It is a small kitschy place that I could easily see on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. The employees are welcoming, informative, friendly, and super attentive. I had the brisket with coleslaw, and mustard dill potato salad. My husband had the ribs with beans and loaded potato salad. The array of homemade sauces on the table were great! My favorite was the Tangy Tomato for the brisket. The brisket had awesome flavor and was really tender. One of the best, if not the best I have ever tried. My husband's ribs were also delicious. Tender, and flavorful. If my dad didn't make the best ribs ever, these would get my vote. We've eaten a lot of BBQ and Dave's is definitely at the top of our list. Kind of an awesome score for an impromptu find! My husband and I both loved the mustard-dill potato salad, as well. The only miss was the vinegar based coleslaw. It just wasn't good. The place could use a little tidying, and maybe finish painting the ceiling, but that sort of all adds to its diveyness....We will be back!

Excellent pulled pork. Green beans slow cook overnight with bits of pork. VERY good. Get Dave to tell you about how he cooks his brisket! First timers, though, gotta have the pulled pork.
