My first choice for dinner is rarely a chain restaurant in the south end but I'm going to give credit where credit is due. I had a fantastic dining experience last Friday night with my in-laws. Service from start to finish was prompt and courteous and the food was cooked exactly as ordered. Lesson of the day: Don't judge a book by its cover ;)

Over rated and slow service. Food was very salty.

Kids eat for $.99 on Mondays. Warm yeast rolls with cinnamon butter & peanuts while you wait. Food is always consistent and the price is cheaper than other steak houses. Worth the $$.

The food is the same great Texas food it always has been. The waitresses are very attentive and will make sure you don't run out of rolls or drinks. I don't even finish half my coke and I already have another full one. Be sure you call ahead because they're almost always backed up at least an hour during peak times. Only reason that this place gets three stars instead of 5 is that it is obscenely loud inside especially on the weekends and it's a nightmare trying to find a place to park in its congested parking lot.

Ordinary predictable food in a crowded, dark and always extremely loud steak house. We go to Texas Road house all over in our travels, and I have to compliment them for consistent food and presentation and some people like that. I do not. My wife likes it here more than me, I think the steak is just okay, I prefer Longhorn in every way. Consistanly at all locations the wait is too long, the volume is extremely loud, the staff is often bored even when working hard, it's hard to move around without bumping people, the bathrooms are consistently dirty from over use. I like the steaks and salmon when I order it, but it's always too salty for my taste, and the vegetables are always mushy and over cooked. We can often eat for around $30 bucks, and that's good but there are lots of places I prefer for the same money. Still, we will continue to come here because my wife likes it, I like her, and when she is happy so am I! One thing I really hate at this location is it's lack of parking, people are parked anywhere they can squeeze in, on the street, on the grass at the apartments next store, along the access road because they built a large restaurant without an acceptable parking lot, it should never been given it's building permit. Access to it is difficult as is getting back out, if there was ever an emergency you can bet there would be crashes and injuries from the poor layout and difficulty in getting out even in normal weather conditions.

This was my first time at any Texas Roadhouse, and I was not impressed... We were on our way back to Chitown from Tennessee, and we decided we were over fast food. We just wanted something where the kids could get out of the car, but we were also looking for a nice meal. We, sadly, didn't really find it here :( The service was mediocre and slow. I can't tell you how many times I was told "hold on a minute" or "I will be back for your/to give you your XYZ". Our waitress also forgot a lot of things. Like BBQ sauce, we had no steak sauce on our table, and she forgot my husband's chili altogether when it was supposed to come with his meal. We had to wait a long time for most things. After she finally brought us the check, we waited about ten to fifteen MORE minutes for her to come get it to run the card. All of this could have been made up for if the food had been good, but it just...wasn't. Everything was lacking flavor or temperature (see: cold). It was sort of bland. Very mediocre at best. I didn't even eat my leftovers, so that says a lot right there!

Parking sucks but they have pretty good steaks. It really shouldn't take an hour to get your food but if you've eaten here, you know what I'm talking about. Good service by nice waitstaff.

Great food, excellent service and a fun time. Atmosphere is enhanced by all the wait staff. Everyone is helpful and friendly topped by great food makes it all worthwhile.

I have been to this location a few times The first time I walked out because we were waiting in line to get a table. We were the only ones standing there and the two blond bimbos were standing there talking to each other and ignoring us. When another couple walked in they instantly went to them totally ignoring us. I said loudly, "We were here first. It would have been nice to be waited on first." They just looked at us like we were crazy. So we left. I called their manager and HAD THEM FIRED. For one they were on their phone texting-against rules. You aren't supposed to do that on the job and ignoring customers and taking others first is also wrong. I have been there twice since then and the staff have been excellent and the food delicious.

Its good for what you pay for it. Not overly priced and decent tasting. I've been several times. Had a great server on this occasion.

If my husband and I are looking for a steak dinner but don't want to grill it ourselves, we usually come to Texas Roadhouse. Besides the mind numbing country music & the frown faced employees line dancing their little hearts out (you know they hate it) - like the rating says - it's A-OK. The food is always pretty good & we love us some free nuts! My husband thinks it's hysterical that TR is owned by Willie Nelson. So, we like to play the 'If you were Willie Nelson and really high, what would you do if...' game while we are eating. Yeah, we are weirdos.

My husband and I have been to this particular restaurant twice. Both times food was yummy and hot and the waitresses have been very kind and on top of things. I have an egg allergy; and they made sure that my food was taken care of!!! Will return!!!

You remember the Texas Roadhouse you went to a while back? I am pretty sure this one is 100% the same as that one.

I was heading into downtown Louisville on a Sunday evening, so decided to pull up short in case everything was closed by the time I got there. The service was good, almost too quick. I had their 12 oz ribeye, Caesar salad and baked potato. The salad was good,a bit too much dressing, but I had expected this and could have ordered it on the side. The potato was a potato and had all the prerequisite loaded stuff on it. The steak is where it came apart for me. It was a bit fatty, but it was a ribeye and they tend to be on the greasy side anyway. What it did have is a large piece of gristle in about a third of the steak. The waitress cleared my plate before I had a chance to say anything, but I am pretty sure she saw it. I guess the whole point of this rant is that you should look at your steak before you eat it, let the server know if it is not to your liking, and maybe the Roadhouse should pay a bit more attention to their cuts. All in all, not a horrible experience, but I will try another nearby steak chain store before returning.
