My boyfriend brought me a salad from here. It was delicious. The champagne dressing made the salad come to life!

Crazy sandwich menu! Whatever your favorite meat is whether its pastrami or fish they have at least 3-4 specialty sandwiches with that on it! Located inside the back of Dittos....only downside is they close at 4pm.

Been here a few times and I love this place. I'm from the NYC area and my childhood comfort food was matzo ball soup. Good matzo ball soup is when you have a wonderful, homemade chicken soup with a nice matzo ball in the middle. It's probably not for everyone but it is for me. I had a small bowl, and it was hot and wonderful. My wife had the chicken noodle soup and loved it and she's a chicken noodle soup fiend. We both love soup and their soup was excellent. She had a tuna salad sandwich, which, under most circumstances is unexciting. She really enjoyed it and decreed it was the best tuna salad she's had in ages. I had the "Phantom of the Opera" sandwich which is on rye bread and it's pastrami, corned beef, chopped chicken liver, Swiss, Russian slaw and Russian dressing. It was large and sloppy and I loved every bite. It's counter service that is friendly and quick. Did I mention friendly? Did I mention quick? Considering I've run into amazingly incompetent service in so many places that I was so impressed by the quality of their service. Great place.

Passing through Louisville, we came upon Stevens & Stevens Deli. Decided to stop for lunch. What a happy surprise! Food was fantastic. Highly recommend the Caesar salad, the Oliver Twist, Tortellini salad, BLT, and any turkey sandwich on the menu. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Congratulations Louisville - you are lucky to have this restaurant in your town.

Skip the Quiznos and Subways and treat yourself. Great deli sandwiches and they have a bakery as well. My girlfriend can't get enough of their cookies.

I'm happy with what I've gotten, but I don't go here too much. Mainly because, a meal for two people always comes out to being $30 for what is cafeteria style. For that price, I'd rather sit down. Plus, the canned soda option isn't my favorite.

I have never had a bad experience here. The Garlic Roasted Potatoes are absolutely delicious. Decent vegetarian options for a NY-Style Deli. It gets super busy around lunch so I always plan to take mine to go so I don't have to battle for a table. Reasonable prices as well.

In the mood for a huge deli sandwich, so decided to try Stevens and Stevens and try one of the biggest sandwiches they had. Unfortunately, not as big as I expected, so I was pretty disappointed. Not to say it wasn't tasty, but for the price I paid - I simply expected more.

Big deli sandwiches and excellent cold pastas. They are a NY-style deli, and do a good job of it. I get the Mr. Ziegfeld, which is a reuben...I love corned beef!

This place has a lot of potential. I wish they had options for people who want natural meats (antibiotic-free, hormone free). They have a wide variety of sandwiches and salads and a nice bright dining area, and the sandwiches are made right in front of you.

Corned beef was too salty and full of grizzle. Bread was so soggy and wet that it just fell all apart after two bites. We are new to Louisville and will not be back. Neither my husband or I liked it.

Hours are somewhat limited but they have the most amazing selection of vegan and vegetarian salads! Edamame, asian cabbage, wheatberry (YUM) and they post calories next to every menu item. Reasonably priced and my meat eating friends tell me their sandwiches are really very good. It's always busy so that's something!

We haven't been to this place in many years, but we were in the neighborhood one Saturday morning and dropped in for a bite. Her Ladyship had some beef barley soup and egg salad and I had a "John and Marla's Casual Stroll". Food was great, service was excellent. We had forgotten how good this place was, and will be back.

My favorite deli in the metro area. Great food and prices!! Today for lunch a bowl of chili and bread and butter and medium Caesar salad with chicken. All for $6.50. Plus larger portions than the chain delis. Very friendly and helpful staff. FIVE stars. Yay!!

Great healthy options here. Everything is fresh and yummy. Salads are kind of small but fiancé loves the Ruben here.

When we heard we were getting a free lunch at a training, we all crossed our fingers and whispered "I hope it's Stevens & Stevens!". And behold! It had been awhile since I'd had their food, but today it did not disappoint. I had the tuna salad sandwich. Normally I don't care for rye bread, but it worked so well with their more savory tuna salad, that I was just as happy. If you want something other than classic ham or turkey, I would definitely recommend. I like it even better than the chicken salad. And what good lunch could be complete without sides and dessert? If you have a meeting and you want to show appreciation through a lunch order, this catering is a great option.

One of the city's few true delis and a real treasure. They have just about every sandwich combo possible, including corned beef and pastrami, and ridiculously good pasta salads. It can get crowded around lunchtime and parking is a pain, but you won't mind once you've tasted the food.

Bland soup. Great sandwich. Excellent desert. But fan blades and light fixtures covered disgusting dust. Yuck!

Yum-o! I love that they have Dr. Brown's Cherry Soda. The place just makes me happy - it's relaxed, and food is tasty!

Nice New York style deli. Cafateria style service with a small area for seating. Had the Chicken Noodle Soup & 1/2 Corned Beef Sandwich. Soup was outstanding....chicken was tender & the broth was very flavorful. The Corned Beef has a huge portion and was tender and had a good taste. Service was fast and courteous.

Two things have always tempted me to move to NYC: my love of Woody Allen films and New York style delis. When the megabus adds a route from Louisville or my frequent flyer miles amass, I will visit often. Until then, Stevens & Stevens will tide me over. My favorite item on the menu is the Play It Again Sam pasta salad: the cilantro and the cumin dressing raise up a notch what could be a typical feta and red pepper pasta salad. Every sandwich, soup and salad I've tried bursts with flavor from the spices and fresh ingredients used. As if the awesome food doesn't keep people coming back, they also have a rewards program where you can accumulate points for savings and a free cookie on your birthday. Who doesn't love a lunch deal? Clearly everyone in Louisville does lately... This brings me to my complaints. The past few times I've been it's been ridiculously busy. I've been fortunate enough to land the last table or was getting my food to go anyways, but it'd be nice if they had enough space to accommodate everyone comfortably. The tables are arranged too close together which makes it tricky to maneuver your way around because in addition to the tables being crammed in, so are the customers. The only other problem I have is that they took away the Annie Hall sandwich (spinach and artichoke dip with turkey breast on a croissant--yum!). :(

MY FAVORITE DELI OF ALL TIME! And I do mean to put that in all caps because it is the greatest. I call myself a little New York jewish now because I love this place so much. I am a lover of kosher now. Everytime I go it is so had for me to go try something new. I always get the Woody Allen and a pasta side. Sometimes I go for the Speilberg. With a Dr. Brown's Cream Soda (kosher!) The staff is always friendly and I love taking my friends there because most of them have never seen this place because its hidden behind Dittos. Mental note! Its only open for lunch, I would suggest getting there around 11:30 because it starts to get crowded with tons of people hungry for a sandwich from a New York deli

I catered my realtor luncheon today with the Tomato Alfresco Salad and the Oliver Twist Salad. Both are delicious and traveled well. Delicious! This is always a great place to dine-in as well, but best to come on the early side, as they get full.

Had the Me Turkey You Jane and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm new to the Benedictine spread and was pleasantly surprised! The bacon was thick cut and perfectly crunchy, too! Can't wait to try the rest of the menu. The Oliver's Twist salad was good, though a little bit heavy on the champagne dressing. But, I'll be back!

First time in this hidden gem. So many options to choose from! The garlic potato salad was very good it's a small portion but it's definitely all you need. My boyfriend had the Capri it looked delicious and he said it was better than he even expected. We will definitely be back to try one of the other many options.

So it has been over a year since I went to this restaurant and once again great matzo ball soup but they miss it with the sandwich bread. Last time I had pastrami which was okay by Louisville standards but not NY particularity, especially about pastrami. What troubled me was my rye bread was cold. Today my Capri half sandwich which is a combo of grilled chicken, mozzarella, greens and a "weak" pesto mayo ( all actually tasty) was served on a somewhat stale cold whole wheaty herb type hero roll. Wow did this bread ruin the half way descent sandwich. Why not at least toast or warm the bread before serving? What is wondeful is the price for the pick two- $7.95. BTW the matzo ball soup was delish but made me long for Katz's Deli back home!

I've been to this wonderful place on multiple occasions, now... I and will most certainly be back, again! The matzah ball soup is heartwarming and filling. The tuna melt will, undoubtedly, melt your face off! Their meats are amazing and their sandwiches are clearly crafted with care! Even during the lunchtime rush, they are attentive and they get your food to you, quickly! If you're k in the Highlands, and craving some awesome food, check this place out!

First time here and won't be the last. I had Susan's traditional club BEST sandwich I have EVER had and the people their were so nice made me feel at home. I'm from California and I will for sure spread the love of Stevens and Stevens to all my friends at home. :) :)

Food is good, but don't expect them to honor the prices on their website. When brought to their attention, It was ignored; not a good idea. If a business has a website, it should be maintained to be accurate and the prices on it should be honored.

I've never set foot in here, but I've had about a billion of their sandwiches at my workplace, thanks to their uber-reliable catering business. The sandwich assortment and pasta salad are never flashy, never adventurous, but always a half step better than average. Personally, I like it when the powers-that-be shake things up a bit, but it says a lot that we've been ordering Stevens & Stevens since pretty much the dawn of time and it still satisfies the masses. And I'm glad this is our go-to instead of, say, Jimmy John's. ... Now I just need to see an Estebans & Estebans open up so that we can start getting some tacos delivered.

In a goofy spot behind Ditto's but a great deli. The Spielberg sandwich is on a whole other level for sandwiches. You have to try it

I got the club and it didn't disappoint. It was big, but not unmanageable. The chicken was very fresh and I really enjoyed it. Parking is less than ideal, but it wasn't too bad once I figured out where to go. The pasta salads are really the thing to go for - they are incredible! They have some fun canned soda options that you can really only get at a deli. Yum!!
