I love this location. Its perfect when I'm trying to get a lot of work done or when I'm craving some delicious food and baked goods... Hands down my favorites are the Baked Potato Soup and Bacon Turkey Bravo (most delicious sauce and bread...with turkey and bacon...i'm drooling) sandwich for the Pick2. Another favorite of mine is the Asian salad - dressing has quite a kick to it. Meal can add up quickly here...but I usely think its worth it. Add a dessert for .99, cheese danish with cherries is my favorite. Panera also does great seasonal items - look for and try whatever the "limited time" offer is. They also have a rewards program that will give you free items if you visit frequently. Don't mind if I do.

I'm not usually big on chains, but there is a certain kind of hungry that comes with spending 7 hours in the ER with a friend, feeling the great relief that come with learning she's okay, but still having another 2 hours before you can go home. When you are that hungry, even the vending machine hot pocket at the hospital starts to sound like a good idea, but Panera, well, Panera is a far better idea. That bit of oversharing is my personal justification for eating an entire Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich. On an ordinary day, their half sandwich combo option is a good one. I'm not sure what the magical bread is that they put the Bacon Turkey Bravo on, but it is justification enough for ordering it. And in the category of "it's the little things that matter," I love that they wrap the pickle separately from your sandwich. Pickles are all well and good if you are into that sort of thing, but I don't like the way they make everything they touch taste like pickle. Pickles should taste like pickles. Bacon turkey bravo sandwiches on magical bread should not taste like pickles. Segregation is really the best approach for pickle management, and Panera gets this.

The service was much better the last two times that I arrived here, and as I said before, it's great to have such an establishment in this part of town, as in Insanity World out east (pronounced: Hurstbourne or Springhurst) it would just be another vacuous chainery.

I was in the mood for warm soup today. I was cold and my belly wasn't feeling great so I thought some bland french onion soup would suffice. I looked at the menu online and it looked great. So, I went to the drive through and spotted the butternut squash ravioli so opted for the pick two menu with that and the onion soup. When I opened them up I couldn't believe I spent $9.31 on this. The soup looked absolutely nothing like it should've according to Panera's website and the raviolis were lacking in size. The taste was okay. But, I'm still not happy. Also, the bread was just thrown in the bag with the two containers not wrapped up or anything and no spoon.

This is the worst Panera I've ever been to. They get my order wrong every time. I went earlier this year and ordered oatmeal. It was 11 and they told me they'd have to make sure they still had some, since we'd crossed into the lunch menu. I told them I would order something else, but they assured me I could have the oatmeal. So my mom went to the table with her danish and waited for me. And waited and waited and waited. I stood at the pickup window and heard the staff talking. Something to the effect of "We don't have any oatmeal" "Just get one of the frozen ones and microwave it". It took about 12 minutes for them to finally give me a bowl of oatmeal. The bowl they gave me looked nothing like the one in the display ad. It had some gross apples on top and 1 pecan. After that I decided I would frequent other Panera Bread restaurants, but not this one. Last week I lifted my moratorium and was met with another terrible experience. Six women ordered soup on the ticket before mine. As we were waiting for our orders at the pickup window, one of the ladies looked at the screen and told the person preparing the food that they did not want bread bowls. He told her she ordered bread bowls so they were going to get bread bowls. She said, no, they did not order bread bowls and they did not want them in bread bowls. During their debate my grilled cheese came out of the panini press. I watched them set it aside while they continued their debate with the soup ladies. They ended up giving the ladies their soup in regular bowls. Six bowls. The lady at the pickup window told them that tow of them should be in cups, not bowls. He told her they didn't have any clean cups, so they could just have it in a bowl. She was so annoyed she just accepted it. Then they put my grilled cheese on a plate and handed it to me. It was cold. There are so many reasons why this is wrong. The ladies got charged for bread bowls, they had no clean cups at 8pm on a Thursday, they argued with customers and they let food that should have been hot sit on the counter. I won't go back to this Panera! The one on Bardstown Rd is a million times better service! I will say that the person who took our order, Robert, was very professional. That's the only good thing about our experience!

I frequent this Panera Bread despite overpriced mediocrity because it is close to my work. The tortellini is way too salty. The paninis are pressed too long; Some of their best sandwiches a mechanically inedible unless you request silverware. Service is reasonably prompt and friendly and the coffee is pretty good (dark roast). There bagels and breads are very good, but there actual entrees are not well prepared, seasoned and are just okay when done correctly. Worst grilled cheese ever-- the bread was seared outside but not really grilled, and the cheese was a thin schmear of liquid orange.
