Good standby for decent cut of meat at a ubiquitous chain. So I rank Logan's just behind the likes of Longhorns and Outback for chain steakhouse but a cut above (see what I did there?) the Ocharlies of the world. The value of peanuts at the table and bananas good rolls can't be oversold. There steaks are above average, sides pretty good and seafood offerings consistently pleasing. I like their bone in wings, grilled salmon and ribeye. Jeff Ruby's or Jack Fry's its not... But for work lunch, or casual weeknight it's a staple

This meal was so bad I felt compelled to write a review. Sat at bar high top with 2 others and service started out ok, but then went down hill. I asked the waitress 3 seperate times if the porkchops were bone in. Was told all 3 times that they were. After being assured they were I ordered them, a sweet potato with no sugar mess, butter on the side and asparagus. Our food arrive quickly, but as I feared the two porkchops were not bone in. Instead they were the small boneless variety that can be found at any grocer for cheap. The sweet potato was slathered in butter and the aspargus looked like it died 2 weeks before...they hadn't even bothered to cut the woody ends off either. When the waitress returned, our meals were delivered by someone else, I explained that the porkchops were not bone in and that my sweet potato was drowning in butter. She said she would go check in the kitchen...whatever that was going to do. In the meantime i said to hell with it and tried one of the chops...yep shoe leather. The waitress returns and proceeds to lie to me and say that just today they didnt have bone in and the kitchen didnt tell her. Manager came over and I just asked him to take the food away. I never eat at establishments like this for these reasons. I won't be going back.

Apr 9, 2015: TO DIE FOR: est. 3" x 4" Pipin' hot sweet rolls. EXCELLENT: Ice Tea. Service--waitress at the bar booths. GOOD: French Fries & lagniappe peanuts. Ho-HUM: Service--time to get food (tho tables were full at noon so understandable it took about 20 minutes to be served after ordering). $8.99 Lunch chicken sandwich (dry, "TEXAS" toast was only about 1/2" thick by 4" square, chicken no flavor, 1 tomato about 2" D, only 1 sliver of iceberg lettuce.) Really overpriced for the value, albeit nice touch with 2 cheeses, swiss and cheddar.

Decent food. I really like the strawberry salad and steaks are descent for the price and compared to other steak houses in this range.

I went there on a Wednesday evening early and received great service and very good food. I recommend the grilled BBQ style chicken!

Lunch on a Saturday. No wait and the service very friendly. Had a steak special that was cooked perfectly. Everything seemed very salty. Peach lemonade... Awesome.

Very meteoric meal. Had the Prime Rib and it was very tough. This shows the meat quality was low. The price was very cheap. I guess it is true, you get what you pay for.

Came during Kentucky Derby weekend, big mistake. The employees were more worried about their employee Kentucky derby pool than helping with a single diner. I ordered the pulled pork sliders with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were like strips of a deep fried salt lick. The pulled pork sliders were mediocre. The best thing about Logan's are the free peanuts on the table and being able to throw the shells on the floor.

Came in because of two reasons: it's literally a minute walk from my hotel and there was a 2 meals for $15 deal. Upon entering, the hostesses were very welcoming. It's a Tuesday evening so we were seated immediately. Every table comes with a bucket of peanuts so that was a nice surprise. The server came out, introduced himself, and kindly took our drink order. He came back quickly with it and brought their house yeast rolls. They reminded me of baked bbq pork buns without the pork. Not the best rolls but not bad. For a final total of $22 (tax and tip included), I got chicken tenders with a side of mac n cheese and sweet potato fries while my eating buddy got a 6 oz sirloin with a side of onion petals and slaw. My buddy and I liked our dinners but it's not something we'd go out of our way for. The main selling point was the proximity and the price.

I am staying at one of the nearby hotels and decided to get a steak salad to go. I made a few modifications to the way it was described on the menu and added more veggies (who needs avocado, bacon, eggs, AND steak on a salad?) , which they did at no charge. The steak was a little overcooked (which I would not knock them for since it was to go!), but it was still very tender and juicy. This salad was one of the best I have had in a long time, and it was a good price. To-go service was quick and friendly. If I am back in town for business I would probably stop here again.

Absolutely awesome place. WENDY the bartender has a great personality and worked her butt off tonight. All of the staff helped each other out and every last one of the were very polite.food was excellent. The kitchen manager came to check on everything. I have nothing bad to say.

The Hostess with the ear gauges was unprofessional and annoying. Sevice was not paying attention and not attentive at all. probably an isolated incident, but I would not rush back to have dinner here anytime soon. Food was fine. We will do Texas Roadhouse from now on.

This was my first time at a Logan's Roadhouse and I found the experinece to be a good one. It was a pretty Friday night. We were seated promptly and served. Between the 4 of us we had a good variety of food and everyone thought the food was well prepared and tasty! I had the Chicken Fried Steak and must say it was the best I've ever had.

Chelsea the bartender was awesome. Drinks are plentiful and the food looks good. I wasn't hungry but I tried the shrimp app which was decent. The place has a sort of Outback meets Chili's which I'm usually not a fan of it but it was literally outside my hotel room door. My only real complaint that it closed at 10:00 PM during the week.

Poor cut of ribeye, undercooked, and the sweet potato was microwaved, and over microwaved at that.

One of the only places I refuse to go back because of bad experiences. I have given them a few chances to change my mind and they even have good deals sometimes, but never leave wanting to come back. The food is just ok at best, steak is better at Texas Roadhouse for about the same price. Nothing will wow you here, just hope everything comes out right. I don't what keeps people coming back, you can get the same value at other places and if you want a better steak we have several places for a better steak. They have a lot of locations so either we just have one of the bad locations or people just don't expect much.

So, I am not a big "Chain Restaurant" guy, but I have to say, I was impressed by Logan's and their Health Nut Menu selections. I arrived late into Louisville on business and was looking for a place to eat that was close and in walking distance of my hotel. On top of that, I gave up meat and bread for Lent, further limiting my options. I was hungry, so I decided to go to Logan's and order off the menu, and hopefully convincing my Server on my "Special Needs". After looking over the menu, I saw the Health Nut selections. To my surprise, I could order food that is non-dairy, and without any meat. I ordered the salad with the balsamic vinaigrette dressing, a baked potato, and steamed broccoli. The food was good and served quickly. Who would have thought you could have these choices at Logan's?. I was impressed.

Their flavored ice teas will give you acid reflux and by the looks of the food so will it. I didn't try it out.

Ate at Logans this evening and our waiter, I won't say his name, was totally awful, slow and uncaring. I asked for a wine menu when he brought the steak and he pointed at the sign on the table and said it's there, I'll be back....came back after I finished dinner to ask if I had decided yet what I wanted...and my ribeye was extremely peppered, not at all like I had there before, I scrapped a full teaspoon of pepper off and still couldn't eat it. The salad and baked potato were fine....wouldn't return, what has happend to this place? Had to send back my appletini...I love them and always order them, but something was majorly wrong with this one...almost as if olive juice (like a dirty martini) was mixed in....awful...couldn't drink. But it took until the middle of our salad to even get the drink. Odd night....definitely not what I had experienced before at Logans.

Went to this location about a week ago. The service was very good. Our server was very nice. However the prices for food are ridiculous. I got some friend shrimp, which was good, however it was $14 and that was on the cheaper end. Don't expect to go here and spend under $20 for a good meal. Doubt I will return only because prices are insane for the food offered.

Fast and good service. Food was great too. Mgr did more than a check in, he made sure each everyone felt right at home. Will make it a point to return to this one.

Food was average. Staff doesn't understand their are choices for people to eat. Staff doesn't seems to care. Pass on this one....

Service was horrible. Waiter looked high and could have cared less. Started with cheese fires. Shredded cheese "cooked" in a microwave. Ordered the sliders. Burgers were over done and served on the rolls that were drenched in butter. Chilli had no flavor. Daughter liked the Mac and cheese, even it's obvious it's from a box. The sauce on the chicken that wife ordered was not enough. Menu is limited for the price we payed. At end of meal, had to ask for a box 2 times. Everything was done at a snails pace. Will not be going back.

If I could give Logan's 2 1/2 stars I would. But as it turns out, "Meh" describes my reaction more accurately than A-OK. Logan's is just the same old crap, just a different sign. Logan's occupies the same genre as Lone Star Steak House, Texas Road House, Outback and so one. Big Meat, Fried Foods, Beer and maybe a small side of salad. I had Carolina Fried Shrimp, described as "huge" by the menu, a salad, bread and a drink. Beer was budweiser on tap, so it was fresh and cold inside a frosted mug so no complaint there. They provide peanuts in the shell to munch on while you're waiting. The huge shrimp was very ordinary sized and didn't come with enough cocktail sauce, salad was OK but too much dressing, order it on the side and the one side I was entitled to was the macaroni and cheese, it was a typical velveeta and elbow macaroni concoction. Service was attentive but just a little rushed. Tab for beer and a dinner was 20 bucks. The place isn't bad, just a little too contrived as most franchise places tend to be.

Meh. Prices are ok as is the food. Peanut appetizer and location across the parking lot speak best for this joint. Oh yes, why have six tvs in the bar area all tuned to the same ESPN channel? No one made the effort to tune to different channels. Indicative.

A bunch of us guys who were in town on business went and had dinner up here. Service was really good. I've never eaten at Logans before but the food was about what I would expect from a chain restaurant. It was good enough.

We stayed in a hotel across the street with our dog so my husband placed a carry out order. He ordered the 22 ounce porter house steak and I ordered the 6 ounce Fillet. We LOVED the flavor of both steaks and they were cooked perfectly. I had a side of a baked sweet potato and he had a regular baked potato......So YUMMY. We also love the fresh rolls that come with your dinner. You get good quality food for a good price. Can't wait until they open up the one by my house as we will be going in to eat. Hopefully often.

not much good to say about this place..... so I won't say what I'm thinking. Second thought....baked potato wasn't hot...tasted and looked like it was baked yesterday. I ordered a top sirloin medium rare...less than 1/2 thick...tough as shoe leather. I went to this place because I'm staying at a nearby hotel...now that I know the area I've found several better places. Note to Logan's ...if a customer gets to your place at 5:59 but is not seated and waited on until 6:05....go ahead a give em the happy hour deal.

the adult ice teas here have always been a staple for me and still get the job done. The squishy butter rolls are a sinful treat as well. Always love that I can nosh on peanuts while I figure out what I want to order and make as little or as much of a mess as I want. If you have messy kids, no worries with the nuts unless they have allergies. After a looonnnggg day of driving this was the ticket.

Terrible experience. I was seated right away and from there it went straight down hill. Table was sticky, salad was not close to fresh and the blue cheese dressing was mostly water. Took well over an hour to be served the filet I ordered and it was just ok. By the time the main course came I have to admit I wasn't very hungry and just wanted to take a shower. The floor was covered with peanut shells (I get it. It's their thing.). The waiter was over weight and sweating profusely which isn't the most appetizing thing when they're serving your food. The place was crowded so they must do better than my experience most of the time. The icing on the cake was there was no attempt to make amends. No offer to throw in a dessert or knock a few bucks off the meal. Nothing at all! I still tipped about 16% but I usually tip at least 20%. I couldn't blame the server who was hustling the entire time I was there. He had too many tables. The problems I had were mostly management deficiencies. I wouldn't risk going there again.
