The staff is amazing and the margaritas are strong. Your typical mexican fare, but these two features make it a great visit!

This is great authentic Mexican food family owned and operated. I have been going here since it opened, and when I want Mexican food, I will make the trip to Fiesta Time. Great friendly service, very good food, that is out to you fast and fresh. Everything I have had here is very good. We always make sure to get a large order of queso, its very good.

Consistently good service and great food. We go to Fiesta time twice a month and have been happy and full tummies. The chicken soup is fabulous and so are the Cheese Quesadillas. Try them you will like them!!

I love this place because they serve authentic Mexican food. It is hard to find a real Mexican food not the Tex-Mex in this area. I had a "chorizo con huevos" burrito. They made it for me though it was not on the menu. Also their flan was a homemade not the store bought flan. Their flan has great texture and it literally melts in my mouth. As far as the restaurant goes, it is very small. Their booth is made for skinny people. It was not comfortable for my son to sit there for a long time. But the food and service was great. ;)

Very good. Portions are pretty big, the tortilla chips always come out warm, and the guacamole dip and guac salad are both great; no added fillers or any such nonsense, as you''ll be able to tell for yourself. My two favorite dishes here are the steak fajita quesadilla and the carnitas, but most everything on the menu is pretty good, and they are good about omissions and substitutions to the menu. (Sour cream makes me physically ill, so I always have to ask to leave it off most of their dishes, and I can't remember them ever forgetting to do so) Fiesta Time is busiest between 5-7pm on weeknights, and the place fills up quickly, so during those times, if your party is larger than 2-3 people, you might be waiting about 15-30 minutes for a table to open up, which isn't terrible. Most other times, they will have an open table for parties between 4-6 people. Service is consistent; even when the restaurant is busier, servers make sure that drinks are refilled and that you always have chips and salsa to snack on while you're waiting for your meal. Food usually comes out pretty quickly, but on busy nights it does take a little longer, but I've never found myself getting impatient with the wait between ordering and getting food. I've gone here a lot of times with my family and friends. It's a very good place to go when we feel like Mexican, as it's close by, the food is inexpensive, and is always good. There is sufficient variety that everyone can find something that they like, and chances are, everyone in your party will have a favorite after going there a few times.

Always pretty good food, salsa is excellent and house made and portions are generous. I've never had bad service and recommend the Macarena Special. The chile rellenos are also very good, I recommend these as well. I've never had any of the margaritas, but have been told they are very reasonably priced and taste good.

I have been going to Fiesta Time at least twice a month for 11 years now, and NEVER have had a complaint. The food has always been what we ordered, it has always tasted good, and we have always been treated kindly and respectfully. Of course it can get crowded, but we expect to wait a little in those cases, otherwise the staff has been punctual and accommodating. It is a Mexican restaurant like many others when the menu is concerned, so nothing really stands out different with the food. We have watched the very young workers grow up over the years, they have kept most of their staff over the past 11 years, so that says something. Try it out, we have never been disappointed.

Terrible service and terrible food. Would not ever go back again. The drinks were watered down and the nachos were swimming in liquid. When we complained we were told this is the way the food was prepared.

This place has the best margaritas in town! And yes their food is amazing as well. You can't go wrong with pretty much anything on the menu, but definitely splurge and have a margarita here. It's great for big groups as well and the staff is very friendly!

favorite Mexican restaurant of my family. the workers are so nice, great service, and awesome food! Also, for those who don't actually like Mexican food, their chicken fingers and fries are great!

At first, the large number of people inside the restaurant made it seem like a great place to eat. That wasn't exactly true after my experience. Their salsa is okay, not very spicy though. The service is reasonable, but not outstanding. When it comes to the food, it's crap. I don't remember the name of the combo that I ordered, but it had 3 chicken enchiladas, rice and guacamole salad. The enchiladas were just chicken in a tortilla shell, no seasoning at all. The sauce atop the enchiladas was good, but it could have been better. Now the rice: The rice was terrible. No flavor at all. I only saw and tasted rice. They probably bought bagged rice and threw it into a pot of water... Disgusting. Guacamole salad: Cheap iceberg lettuce, somewhat decent sour cream, and guacamole that tastes like spoiled yogurt. I spit this out as fast as it came into my mouth. Then I tasted my brother's Refried beans. They were orange in color, so I didn't expect much, but what I got was the worst thing I've ever put into my mouth. I can't even describe the horrible taste. I felt like I would barf. The awful taste remains in my mouth even after an hour of leaving. Bottom line: don't even try this restaurant!

Nothing better than a chicken fajita quesadilla. I've tried other dishes too and was never disappointed. My favorite restaurant ever!

After an unsuccessful trip to another Mexican place the week before we decided to try Fiesta Time. The name made me a little skeptical, but I wanted enchiladas, so I jumped in. Salsa? Pefection! Spicy, fresh-tasting and delicious. I ordered a margarita, and was disappointed that it was the bottled stuff that tastes like food coloring, but it won't keep me from going back (I'll try the Texas margarita next time). I had the five enchilada plate and was pleased. I only finished about a quarter of them and was happy to have leftovers to eat the next day. Best thing thou? The tamale--covered in enchilada sauce and was so great! Since we can't have Chipotle in L'ville, Fiesta Time is going to be our new favorite Mexican place! Also important: lots of service staff--we never waited long for anyone to check on us or bus dishes. Servers were polite and friendly.

First, there is a group of women standing outside as we approach the door. We ask these women, ? Hey! How's the food in there?? They all respond in unison, ? it's excellent!?... We enter and see that the establishment is pack to the gills with people, which we then thought confirmed the ladies comments. We were seated immediately which was nice and then everything went down hill. 1.Waiter barely spoke English. 2.Nothing authentic Mexican on menu. 3.Order took forever to arrive. 4. Food was over priced and UN-Mexican. 5. The chips are bagged not made. 6. Guacamole was terrible and might have been a powdered mix. 7. Salsa was made in new York city. The best thing we received was a large coca-cola. As I have said in my other reviews when it comes to Mexican restaurants, if you do not see ? Lengua, menudo, or carnitas on the menu... It isn't authentic! Just because Mexicans run it doesn't mean they will cook authentic dishes. Actually I find in small Towns that it's cheaper to make cheap imitation Mexican rather than using authentic meats and ingredients. Disclaimer: This place is perfect for the Anglo Saxon who has no idea what authentic Mexican food tastes like. But to the wise save your money and go to taco bell.

I'll admit it, I'm quite a snob when it comes to Mexican food. This has to do with my upbringing in California, a state that hosts many great Mexican restaurants. So, when I walked into Fiesta Time Mexican Grill I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The first thing I noticed after a few minutes at this establishment is that the service is top-notch. They kept the chips and salsa coming throughout my visit. The salsa was actually pretty good, not too hot and not too cold. The food came quickly and it tasted great. Last but not least, the prices overall are very reasonable and fair. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and comfortable overall. They had the football game on too, which is a MAJOR plus in my book. I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

This place has some ridiculously good Mexican food! Some of the best if not the best I've ever had. Queso and enchiladas were all great! Will return to this restaurant for sure!!

Fantastic cheap food, fast service and Very cold beer! The green (regular) margaritas are not nearly as good as the Texas though.

So good! Queso is great and a large portion! My husband and I split the fajitas for 2 and there was more than enough for 2. The margaritas are strong and tasty...perfect. Service is crazy fast! We just moved here and it's now our go to Mexican food spot.

I've been here a few times and have yet to have a bad experience. I know some people may have had problems in the past with service and I think some of those may be communication issues due to language barriers. Also, I don't think some of the staff are primarily servers but fill that role when they are busy and the business suffers from it since it is not their main role in the establishment. I'm not making excuses but merely stating some observations based on my experience thus far. I was introduced to this restaurant via word of mouth. I had driven by it a few times but never stopped in to eat. To be honest, the sign on the building isn't quite appealing and I felt it may reflect the experience and/or the quality of the food/service. This is far from the truth. When I first visit a Mexican restaurant I always go with the safe Taco dinner. This is mainly because.... If they can't get a taco dinner right, it's not worth checking out the rest of the menu. Since I've been there a few times, that means they got the tacos right. I've also had the Carnitas plate and recently had their Bistec Mexicana plate. Both were great and the Bistec was so good I took it home and reheated it in the morning for breakfast. Steak and eggs, sounds delicious, amirite? And it was great the next morning. Now, I would have to say, hands down the best dish I've had there.... The Guacamole Mario appetizer. Yup, this is not your typical order of Guacamole. This is a platter of Holy Guacamole! I love guac, and this may seem like an insignificant dish to some, but I don't care.... I love guac! This dish was so good, I took a picture of it and attached to this review. Yessum, I loved this dish and will get it every time I eat at Fiesta Time.

My belly is full after eating my favorite meal from my favorite Mexican restaurant. They have something for everyone and the food is always great. Also helps that they're right around the corner from my house.

Best Mexican place in the East End. Service is quick. Food is always good and consistent. The food is reasonably priced - my husband and I normally get out for $20 including tip.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
