Good food. Hot chocolate was fabulous!! It was a little busy and I overheard a server complain about how so and so was getting way more work than they were and how they deserve to be working more as well. Honestly? I work in the medical field. If you want to complain, complain to yourself or don't complain within earshot of customers. It's extremely rude and shows that you have a lack of integrity and character. Or find another job that is more suited to your liking; because this doesn't seem to be your kind of job. Other than that incident, the food was great. It was hot and fresh. Def will come back.

Went to Denny's tonight. They had three waitresses and no cook. One waitress walked out and quit, one waitress started cooking, with one waitress to take everyone's order and wait on everyone. Food was not great, took us an hour to get it, we got our butter after we finished eating. Got no drink refills. Used syringes by the bench outside. Not a place I would take my family again.

When I was in my late teens, I would have given this place 4 stars. The prices keep going up and up. The good portions keep getting smaller and smaller. Service is slow. Normally not very friendly. The food is average on a good day.

It took over 30 minutes for a server to come to our table. Never saw our server until I hunted down another server. TA-DA !! Our server appeared and said she was holding the order because we were waiting on a person. Who said hold your order??? Then the manager came out & said they would take off a little but I the bill. The took off the drinks. The bun to my sandwich was soggy & I wasn't about to ask for a toasted bun...I would still be waiting!!! Terrible - won't go back - ever

Worst service ever!! The restaurant was half full and wouldn't seat anyone because the kitchen was too backed up. How could you not seat people at open tables!?!?

Coffee was served tepid continuously throughout the dinner; meatballs of the spaghetti didn't taste good; soup was served along side the entree of the spaghetti, not before; waitress Kaitlyn doesn't know much about waitressing/hospitality as she left menus sitting long, as she did finished plates that the shift manager had to come clear. Place also has mold smell in ventilation system. Searching the web finds multiple health violations previously. NO surprise! Will NEVER return to this location. Ev-var!!!!!

Didn't want to wait 45 mins for Wild Eggs across the street. When me and my date arrived the first thing I said was "This place is dirty." It was Sunday and there was a rush so I sat. I always order banana pancakes with the bananas INSIDE of the pancakes which is not hard. Of course there were parts around the bananas that were doughy to the point of runny. Bacon was perfectly cooked limp so I could eat that and my over medium eggs. Will not be back for the food but man, oh man, was the service wonderful!

This used to be a great place for a quick bite. Now it is NASTY even though it has received a nice facelift. Smelly or careless wait staff and I'm not sure how you make 1/2 cooked pancakes but they are experts. Gross I am really disappointed as I used to love to come here and they had a great wait staff and great food. I would have to blame the management looking at all the other reviews. It is a pity!

Do not waste your time coming here! REPEAT...... DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE!! Seriously?! Awful restaurant. We have been waiting more than 1 hour for our food and have yet to see the waiter (who smells) to apologize or even refill our drinks. We are on the verge of walking out. Unsure if the entire staff is on break but no one has checked on us. What a surprise?! My husband's omelet is wrong and we still haven't received all of our order. Terrible place! Turn the car around and go elsewhere! Should have went to Wild Eggs.

Today I arrived at this Denny's location at 11:45am. It is currently 12:55pm and my food has not arrived. I received my orange juice 15 minutes after I ordered, but my singular LumberJack Slam has not arrived. The manager came around and apologized for the wait, but having looked at the previous reviews I know that this is the typical for this Denny's site. I am hungry, I am waiting, I feel like leaving.

4 people, 4 Grand Slams, how hard can it be? Not a busy time, kind of mid-morning on a weekday. All the dishes came out at a different time, I don't just mean each person's order at a different time-- it was like here's some hash browns and eggs, several minutes later here's some bacon, and a few minutes after that is the gravy. A random extra plate of bacon and an extra gravy. The food was edible but some was lukewarm where it should have been hot. Saving grace was the grand slams were free (due to coupons) so at least we didn't feel ripped off.

Cold food, slow service. Please train the staff. Please act like you care. This is part of the problem with America. If you can't rely on a Denny's, who can you trust for greasy breakfast food?!

I normally don't walk out of restaurants after ordering, but this place is horrible! I used to go to Denny's yrs ago, but decided once more, and what a mistake! The wait was horrible, service awful. Every time I thought food or utensils of some sort would be out, didn't happen. I wanted to complain to mgt, but didn't see anyone. Even the smell in the restaurant when walking in, had a slight nauseating sewer smell in the lobby Our waitress seemed pleasant, but the organization, and the time waiting for portions of a meal was a joke. I will not go back again, and will not recommend this place to people.

I'm always enjoy going to a Denny's and was disappointed with my experience at this particular location. My friends and i came here on a Sunday (day after the Derby) and waited about 30 minutes for a table. Once seated, we were ready to eat - so we quickly placed our orders but unfortunately, the kitchen was extremely backed up and it took an hour for us to get our breakfast. I ordered an omelette and bacon, sadly both were ice cold but since i was so hungry, i ate it anyway. and my other friends ordered pancakes and eggs - and their food was cold as well. fortunately, we had a fantastic waiter so he made up for the bad food experience.

Somewhere between Meh and A-OK. Pretty slow morning, decent service. Chorizo in the "Santa Fe Scramble" was actually pretty spicy, a change from some places. Will I be back? Dunno, I've seen some breakfast places on Yelp (oh WHY didn't I look on Yelp first!) that look better...and this is probably the only time I'll ever be in Louisville in the foreseable future... For a "hotel breakfast sucks, need somewhere to eat NOW", it's not too bad - a somewhat predictable commodity meal.

Wife generally likes Denny's, so have went to this location a few times over the past few months. Have learned what "Denny's" translates to, in English. It means: "We advertise we have WiFi here, but we really don't, so come STEAL it from one of the businesses around us." Over the past few months, the WiFi has not worked any time that we have been here and have always been told same line, "its been acting up lately," Every time we have went there, there have been fewer and fewer businesses around there that have unprotected WiFi, so apparently the other businesses have figured out that Denny's customers are stealing their signals and are putting an end to that. The last time in here, was told that there was a number on the door to the restaurant, below the WiFi ad, so called that. It was no longer in service, so no love there. Sent corporate a letter asking that they see that the WiFi be fixed or ad be taken down, and told them that 800 number was invalid. Got an email back from Denny's, told me the working 800 number, like I am supposed to take care of their problems? WTH????????? The service is slow, the food is greasy, the WiFi does NOT work, why bother with this place? There are much better places close by, do yourself a favor and go there. On the bright side, with the business going as it seems to be headed, hopefully there will be some other chain in this location as soon as the doors are closed on this one.

This place seriously has the worst service of any Denny's/any restaurant I've been to in a while. We went late at night after Thunder over Louisville; okay, so maybe we were just asking for bad service. Anyway, we ordered sliders, two shakes, and a salad (not too difficult of an order). However, my friend never received her salad nor the ketchup she asked for the onion rings. We also didn't have silverware on our table. The service was pretty slow, like it has been so many times before. You ask, why did we even go? The answer- because it was one of the only places open at 11:30 pm and it was relatively inexpensive. The only saving grace was that Plain White T's milkshake.
