Overall, this was a pretty good restaurant. The prices were a lot cheaper than other restaurants, but the quality was a lot higher too so it's a win-win situation. I had chicken Lo Mein, which could've been seasoned slightly better, but was decent, and I had the Sesame chicken which was amazing. Some of the best sesame chicken I've had. The food was hot and fresh, the interior was clean, and the service was friendly. I will order again some time!

Love this place. It's close to home and I've been coming here for years. The owner is sweet and even remembers my order. I ordered catering for my grad party and it was awesome!

I've eaten here about 20 times. Nothing special, except that they will always make it exactly how you want it. Period. The screaming in the kitchen makes me realize that my order is in the upmost importance. The bourbon chicken is " usually " amazing. The portions on the lunch specials are huge. 2 meals for 5 bucks if you play your cards right. Food comes out insanely fast and hot it's almost more efficient than the future 2050 model of Toyota Prius.

Most Chinese Fast Food places in Louisville taste almost the same to me. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. When I get a craving for this type of food, I use Yelp to find one of these places nearest me and I know that the place will satisfy my craving. China 1 is conveniently located off a busy Bardstown Road and next to a Kroger so it attracts a lot of people. It also happens to be on the way to work for me. The place is very tiny though- probably can only seat about 15 people or so and it feels very tight. Which is probably why most customers were getting carryout. This place does seem to have a loyal following though. Though I called ahead and placed an order there most of the seats were filled with carryout customers and a couple were standing waiting on their order. I still probably got my food in about 15 minutes despite the many people. The people are nice- operated by a couple with their young daughter. I've been here several times and will probably continue coming here whenever the craving hits and I'm driving by......but the same craving can be satisfied by the many other Fast Food Chinese Places in town.

I think this is a nice little restaurant the prices aren't bad and the food is pretty good you definitely get your money's worth I think the customer service could be a bit better but other than that I have nothing bad to say i called in my orders a few time over the phone to avoid standing in long lines once i got there, i can honestly say each time they told me it would be ready it was, i would definitely recommend this spot......!!!!!

Small dining area sits 12. Clean kitchen. The usual options. Quick carry out turnaround (less than 10 minutes). I ordered the Hunan Chicken (broccoli, snow peas, water chestnut, mushroom, carrots & baby corn). It could have been more spicy, but the flavor overall was good. I ordered the small at lunch so it came with a tiny box of rice. I might ask for double rice next time. I also got the small wonton soup. There were at least 5 wontons in there. The broth is salty good & the wontons are big. Ooh! The fortune cookies are bilingual, English & Spanish instead of Chinese. What else could you ask for from a little Chinese place? I'll definitely be back.

Bad for even one of these fast food chinese places. Some how this place is rated high on UrbanSpoon. You can get better quality food at the Wendy's on the other side of the parking lot.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
